Ataria sighed, turning around on her heels. She then walked off.
Vivian jumped when Sig slammed the door. She shrugged her shoulders when he asked what was going on. "Either you're being forced to marry her or it's all a prank," She said. |
"You think it's the first one?" he asked her as he frowned and sank down on the bed. "I don't want to marry her!" he said and fire burned in his eyes.
"Then tell that to your parents," Vivian said.
He stood up and threw the door open. Demons were scary when they were angry. He went and began to look for his parents.
Vivian had a slightly worried look on her face. She stood up and decided to follow Sig.
He then saw them in the throne room and growled. "What in the name of satan is going on?! You arranged a marriage for me behind my back and with an ugly demon?!" he said to them. His mother sighed. "Sweetie...she loves you and you need to get married sooner or later." she replied calmly. Sig sighed and shook his head. "I am NOT going to marry that person you brought for me..." he said plainly.
Vivian kept her distance from Sig and his parents, keeping her wings tucked against her back as she listened.
Ataria walked into the throne room, letting out a slight huff. "I am not ugly!" She said, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed. |
Sig turned and looked at Ataria. "Yes you are...." he said to her with a nod of his head. "Mother....Father...have you two not thought that maybe while being in the human world, I have found someone I would like to marry?" he asked them. His parents were quiet. "I thought so...look, I already know who I wish to marry, ans I will marry her when I want to marry her." he said. His parents sighed and looked at him. "Who is it you wish to marry?" asked his father. "Someone....and I'm not speaking anymore...I'll be in my room." he said and stormed off.
Vivian followed Sig, having to walk at a fast pace just to keep up with him.
Ataria scoffed at what he said, but didn't say anything. |
Sig slammed his door shut and sat on his bed thinking.
Vivian blinked, the door to Sig's room slamming before she could get there. She sighed and opened the door, slipping in silently and shut it once more. She walked over to Sig and sat down by him, staying silent since she knew he was thinking.
He looked over at her and sighed. "I don't want to marry her....and I won't..." he said as he took her into his arms and kissed her cheek. He wasn't going to let his parents control him any more...he was old enough to make his own decisions.
Vivian nodded slightly, wrapping her arms around Sig. "Alright," She said.
"What am I going to do though? I have to get rid of that ugly girl..." he said and sighed as he held her closer to him.
You could tell them the truth..." Vivian said, looking up at Sig as she was held closer to him.
"You want me to tell them that I love you and that it is you I wish to marry?" he asked her as he stroke her hair gently.
"Well it's better than lying to them..." Vivian said with a sigh.
Sig held her close and sighed as he left the room to see his parents. When he saw them he explained everything and waited to hear what they would say. "So you want to marry a fallen angel?" asked her mother. Sig sighed and nodded. "Out of the question...she's an angel fallen or not." said his father.
Vivian stood beside Sig, looking at his parents. "Does it really matter if I'm an angel, fallen or not?" She said, "I'm no longer part of the holy land since I committed a sin. And that sin is loving your son. I don't think race should matter, as long as you're with someone you love..." She went silent after that, wondering what kind of reaction she would get from saying all that.
"So the girl talks..." said his mother. "Yeah she talks...and what she says is true." said Sig. "I love her and she loves me...that's what matters...and I'm going to marry her someday!" he said to his parents. His parents were silent. "I don't approve of this Sig and you know that..." said his father. "Why not?" asked Sig calmly. "She's still an angel, and you know how much us demons hate angels." he said.
"Am I no longer a normal angel, though!" Vivian said, "I'm FALLEN. I can't do anything holy or contact God anymore. Fallen angels are cast out of heaven and put through judgement for sins. Angels aren't supposed to commit sins, and I have. So I'm not pure and full of light and whatnot. Why can't you just accept that me and Sig love each other!?"
Sig turned and faced her. "Don't yell at him love...." he whispered softly. "You do NOT raise your voice at my husband. Look both of you....we never said you couldn't get married...we're just going to need time to get used to this since it has never happened." said Sig's mother.
Vivian let out a huff, crossing her arms. "Sorry," She said, "I tend to do that at times when I don't mean to." She sighed, hugging Sig's arm.
Sig chuckled and kissed her softly. "I love you..." he whispered. His parents looked at them and only his mother smiled. "How sweet..." she said.
Vivian smiled, kissing him back. "I love you too," She said. When she heard his mothers comment, her cheeks flushed red into a bright blush.
