Gods once roamed the earth with mortals, having been mortal themselves once. Despite all their powers, and all their abilities their were people like any other. And so, they passed on their abilities from one person to the next until our story begins.

Clio, the muse of heroic poetry and history found herself in quite a bind. The caramel skinned woman put her hands on her hips as she regarded the person before her. "You mean to tell me that even after my demonstration, you don't believe me! Well this is just fine and dandy, I'll be the first Clio who messes up finding an apprentice. It's happened to an Osiris before, but never one of the Clios."

Turning away, her dark brown eyes held a snippet of anger. Of course this was going to be difficult, people of this age didn't believe in the old gods anymore. So when accosted by one, disbelief had to be the expected response. Not too long ago, this had been her answer. It was hard to believe she'd taken up this job fifty years ago. Finally, Shannon was ready to pass it on to someone else and then she would go live her life... If she managed to convince this reluctant candidate to accept the position.

Among the shadows a young seeming man watched with a smirk. It was so much fun to watch others bringing chaos in their wake, though it was funner being the one causing the messes. Loki rather wanted to mess up this Clio's chance at leaving, she'd been frustrating him so for the past five years. He was a relative new comer to his title, but Isaac loved it! This was the perfect excuse to do exactly what he wanted whenever he wanted without a care in the world for the consequences.
