"well this dont tell us too much beside shes in trouble and needs help." he said looking from the mirror to the rabbit that helped him out.Alex slid back just a little. "now that I didn't expect." he said with a chuckle. "nice to meet you jack." he said with a smile. Sam blinked, she couldn't believe her eyes. The cute little rabbit turned into a cute boy. "what just happened here?" she asked confused more.

"You asked it where Grace went right?" Jack asked Alex. "That place you saw was an underworld jail cell, those things after the two of you now have in a place she can't leave so easily. That's why I'm here. Now that they've got her, they think you guys are unprotected." He explained as simply as he could.. Jack bowed lightly. "Alex, Sam, it's a pleasure to meet you." He said with a soft smirk.

"So your saying they think we can't defend ourselves now so they will be coming here?" Alex asked trying to understand it. Jake made sender and he was glad that they still had help. "How do we get grace back?" He asked again looking at Jake. Sam sat quietly looking from Alex to the cute bunny boy.

Jack nodded. "That's right." He glanced at Alex. "Grace will have to be patient, humans can't go to the underworld so.. there won't be a 'we'.." He said quietly looking away from the the other boy. Jack brought his gaze to the door. "Brace yourselves." He warned, a scythe coming to his hand as he felt those things getting closer. Only a few moments later the the door burst open with two or three of the demons stood in the doorway. One laughed at the sight of Jack in his original form but said nothing. The other two stood by for orders on what to do.

Jack's scythe:

Alex saw that Jake had a weapon as well so he didn't hesitate on bringing out his sword as well. It was all silver with a black handle. (Pic later) he held it out forward ready for anything. He use to fight a while back with sticks but this was one step up. Sam got back quick, she didn't have any defend e but jack and Alex. She stayed back behind them to stay out of the way and she didn't ask questions.., just yet.

Jack gripped the hand tightly then thought and took a slash at the guy who laughed, which shut him up real fast. The 'leader' of the group jumped at Jack with wolverine claws coming out his gloves. The other guys went for the other two, one attacked Alex straight on and the other went to attack Sam. Jack moved in front of her and held up his scythe just as the flunky made a move for her. The bedroom doors were closed tight and locked so getting her in there was out of the question. "She's not in this you bastard..." Jack pushed the guy back and slashed at him, instantly the thing became nothing but back muck. The guy with the gloves picked Jack up off the ground a few inches by the scruff of his shirt. "Little rabbits should hiding in holes." Then just tossed him aside like he was nothing. He ended up hitting the wall hard enough to knock the wind out of him.

Alex was pissed as he swung at the guy that charged at him. Slicing him enough he kicked the guy away. Sam hid in the room trembling in fear. Alex didn't like seeing jack being tossed away like that. He stabbed quick and got the guy in the back. "Rabbits need to be out more than you" he said sliding the sword up slicing the guy up. He went to jack. "You ok? He asked softly.

Jack managed to slowly get himself back on his feet. "I'm alright..." He replied with a light, satisfied head nod and put his scythe away. It's been too long since I got to actually be myself again so I guess it's normal to be a little rusty. He thought to himself. Jack didn't like the fact that those things were targeting humans again but it could've been worse. "Go check on Sam, make sure she's alright. Okay?" He glanced at Alex with small smirk.

Alex nodded and went into the bedroom. Sam was hiding behind the door, she looked up at him. "They gone?" We asked in a shaky voice. She was still scared, there hasn't been anything like that yet that she saw. Alex got down beside her "yea they are gone.. its alright for now" he said in a soft tone. Not realizing what she was doing, Sam wrapped her arms around him tightly glad he was ok as well.

Jack sighed quietly to himself, somehow managing to collect his thoughts. He picked up the mirror and stared at it before laying it back down and going to stand in the door way of the bedroom. Jack leaned against the frame with a kind smirk that was barely noticeable. He was glad the two of them were safe, for now.

Alex didn't care that Sam hugged him like that, he hugged her back and helped her to her feet. "Whys next jack?" He asked dwanting to know the game plan. There wasn't a way that he himself could get to the underworld because he was human, and he wasn't dead. He didn't know of any other way to try and help grace but he wanted her back on their side. He felt kind of lost without her even though he had Sam right there, there was something different about grace.

Jack stood straight. "I'm going to the to bring Grace back, you guys can't come but feel free to use the mirror if you want to keep communication with me. I'm weaker than I should be because of how long it's been since I've been in this form, so I won't last in the underworld very long." He crossed his arms over his chest lightly and looked at the two of them, his wings ready to take off any minute. "If something happens... If worst comes to worst and I'm not back with Grace... It was a pleasure meeting the two of you, especially you Sam." Jack didn't know what it was about her, but for some odd reason the minute he laid on eyes on her, he just couldn't wait to meet her.

At the sound of what Jake said Sam felt something and looked at him. "You better come back" she said as she stepwd closer to him, and just like she did with Alex she gave Jack a treasuring hug. "Be safe please.. for us" she said steeping back by Alexs side. Alex nodded as well. "Bring her back, ill keep us safe. Thanks jack" he said with a small smile. He didn't know what to think any more but he wanted every one safe like before.

Jack kissed Sam on the cheek lightly before she released the hug and stood by Alex again. He bowed lightly and smirked charmingly. "I can't make any promises.. but.. I'll what I can." With that, he turned and went through the floor which was kind of like a short cut. He was in the underworld before he knew it. Jack walked since he couldn't fly here nor use his other powers, and made his made to the jail cell where his partner was waiting.

When the guards came into view he hid and like an assassin, managed to knock each one out without alarming the others. He also had to find the keys to the cell, rescue Grace, and get out of the underworld before time was up. He managed to sneak around and find the keys to the cell but it took a while longer than he had hoped to actually reach the cell and you could already tell the effects of the place where starting to get to him.

Sam was shocked at what jack did and he face got red. When he vanashed Alex look over at Sam. "We better get out of here. Find a new place to hide for the time being." He stated and grabbed the mirror and headed toward the door. "Where might that be though?"Sam asked quietly. "Not to sure.. where is a safe place to stay?" He asked the mirror before they took off.

The mirror showed them a way to get to the cellar just beneath the apartment complex, it was the safest place for them to hide since no one knew it was there in the first place.

"Grab what little you need. I guess we are hiding one the cellar." He said grabbing a small bag and stuffing it with small foods and some water. He didn't want to starve because they didn't know how long they would be there. Sam got a small bag as well and stuffed it with different odds and ends. She stood by the door. "Ready when you are." She said waiting. Alex hurried up and opened the door. Grabbing her hand softly they ran to a small opening and slid into it. There was a little staircase that lead to a dark room where he wedged the door shut and slid to the ground. "I home they are ok." He said as Sam nodded.

The mirror kind of used itself as a guide to get to the cellar from there and stuff.

It would a be a few hours before Jack would return with Grace.

After a while of just sitting there Alex looked over at Sam "how you holding up? " he asked making sure she was ok. "Not use to hiding for my life if that's what you mean." She said slightly snotty. She knew he Washington just trying to help her out and keep her save but it was starting to be a bit too much for her, and she was starting to worry amour jack as well. "Same here. Just had your safe is all." He responded. It was quiet for a while longer and he brought up the mirror "how is jack doing? Is grace safe?" He asked worried about them both.

The mirror showed an image of Grace running as hard and fast as she could with Jack barely conscious and in way worse shape then she was on her back. She had some cuts, bruises along the visible parts of her body, her clothes were kind of tattered and a few gashes on her wings. Her expression was pissed for whatever reason that she had and determination could see in her eyes even through the mirror.

Sam sat in a corner with her face barried in her knees. She didn't want to know how jack was doing, she just wanted him back. Alex stayed quiet and watched the image ever after it faded away he kept looking at it not want to forget that they were on the way back. He just hopped they would get back sooner then later. His gaze broke from the mirror as he started hearing foot steps going up the stairs to where the apartment was. His eyes got big when he heard a soft voice that sounded like elliot

Grace got back to the mortal world with Jack and ended up somewhere in the forest near the complex but not quite as close she wanted to be. Alex, stay. I'm close enough to hear what you're thinking... Stay. In. The. Cellar. Understand? She thought-shoved him pretty much since she was running low on energy and didn't know if she could reach him. Grace adjusted Jack to a more comfortable position and walked towards the apartment.

Alex shot his gaze from the jammed door to the mirror. 'Ill stay.. you ok?' He thought back to her. "They are close.. grace and jack are out." Alex whispered. Sam looked up at Alex not showing excitement even though she was happy to hear they were ok. She looked at the door as the foot steps got louder as people were running down them yelling.

I'm not going to answer that and don't ask the mirror, I'll be home soon. She replied with a light sigh.

She got the apartment and laid Jack down on the couch before going to get Elliot who was making his way down the stairs. Grace the small boy up from under his arms carefully as she hovered a few inches off the ground. How'd he find this staircase in the first place? She thought to herself, looking at the small boy curiously. "Chill kid." Grace said sternly, but not enough to scare him.

Alex sighed and stayed put, he did as she said and just waited. He worded that she might be hurt but he trusted her. Sam was now beside Alex still quiet as well. She didn't want to be stuck in this place forever and thoughts were spinning in her head. The air was getting colder the longer they sat there. Alex looked up again hearing graces voice but he still didn't move at all.
