Grace went back up the stairs and set him down on his feet. "Stay." She told Elliot before turning and headed down to the cellar, making sure he wasn't following her. When she reached it, she slowly opened the door. "Nobody freak, it's me." She said in a calming voice as the door to where they were opened automatically. "Jack's upstairs resting."

At the sound of a voice Sam shot up and was the first one out of there. Alex made his way out but didn't leave grace like Sam did. He looked at her " you hetero be careful next time." He said softly before gineing her a shot gental hug not wanting to hurt her. She looked worse then the time she saved him. "Hows jack? Same going to be worried now." He said still by her side.

Grace blinked a few times before smiling faintly. "Sorry... I tend to run away sometimes when I can't take anymore crap..." She said quietly in barely a whisper. When he hugged her she couldn't help but take in his warmth before looking up at him. "Jack? He should be up and healed now, for the most part. Sam won't have anything to worry about." She answered easily.

Jack was sitting on the couch, mostly healed since he slept and he was trying to fix his dented hat, somehow it managed to work a stress-reliever. His ears stood a little when someone was coming upstairs from the cellar so he stood and put his hat back on.

"I'm glad.. and don't run to often please." Alex said softly as he looked at her. "Times get hard but they are harder when your alone" he said as well. He was more less talking about himself but he wanted her to stay around and not disappear like she disambiguate opened the door and saw jack. She instently smiled and ran toward him. She hugged him softly. "I'm glad you ok " Shaw said to him as she let him go.

Grace gave a small nod. "Okay..." She said quietly. Jack isn't just a partner... He's actually my mentor ^^; and when I don't need him to teach me anymore... Father will call him back... Angels aren't supposed to fall in love with a human anyway... So why...? She thought to herself. Grace looked up at Alex and smiled sweetly. "I won't run anymore." She promised.

Jack hugged her back loosely and smiled softly before holding her there just for a little while longer then slowly pulled away when she let go. "...and I'm glad you're smiling. A girls smile is always a treasure." He said in a sweet and gentle voice.

"Good" Alex said with a smile. "What might the game plan be next?" He asked before they started to walk back up the stairs. Same face got red and shall looked down "your too nice." She said and looked back up at him. She still had a small smile on and she started to have different feelings for jack that she couldn't explain. Alex was the first one in the room and he just looked at them and moved on. The walked into the bedroom hopping grace would follow and he started looking through his computer again to see if anything out of the ordinarry was happening.

Jack was still smiling kindly. "Imma get cleaned up, then I'll meet you in your room, alright?" Grace asked quietly as her gaze followed the boy who didn't seem the same as he was before. She walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind her, locking it since she would be taking a shower.

Sam sat on the couch and yawned, she was happy they were back finally. She senced something different with Alex as well but didn't try to figure it out at all, she just sat there happily with Jake. Alex strummbed through information and didn't find anything at stood out so he sat on the bed with a small picture and a book in his hands. He was reading while holding the picture close. It was of his parents, and he knew everyone he got close to was always taken away so he sighed sadly and kept reading.

Jack went to sit beside Sam and glanced at her. "If you're tired, then sleep." He said with a small smile.

Grace soon came out of the bathroom all clean and bandaged up where it was needed before going into the room that Alex was staying in.

Sam looked at him. "In alright for now" she said with a smile. Alex looked up from his book and seeing grace brought a smile to his face. "What you think will happen next?" He asked quietly. "What will they do next because you know they won't stop that easy" he added putting his book down.

Jack gave a light satisfied nod. "Alright." He said in gentle voice and softly kissed the top of her head. "If you say so." Jack smirked a little. He liked Sam, but he wasn't sure in what way.
Grace simply shook her head and went to sit on the bed. "We can't constantly worry about what will happen next. They've called it quits for the day, let's just spend the time we have to relax." She said in calming voice.

Samvsmiled and sat there quietly. She was happy again and couldn't help it. There was something about jack that jade him different and she couldn't help but to enjoy being around him. Alex sighed "I guess your right, I just can't help but think about it I guess." He said looking over at her. He knew she was right but what if something happened when they were relaxing that would have been avoided. He scratched his head, he was thinking about it too much. "Glad to out of that small room anyway." He said jokingly.

Grace couldn't but but glance at Jack and Sam, she was curious. Unlike herself, normal humans shouldn't be able to see him, but when she thought about it, neither of them were 'normal humans'. Shoving the thought out of her head she gazed back Alex, she was kind of depressed out of nowhere but you couldn't tell at first glance. Then something ran through her mind and she stood. "Can I ask you something, Alex?"

At graces sudden movement Alex looked over at her. "Sure anything." He said making aft attention on her. He wasn't in the happiest of moods but he knew he had to stay strong, and to stay be her side if she needed him. Same sighed slowly sliding down and resting her head on James shoulder. She didn't realize it but she was asleep in no time feeling safe around her new friends and Alex.

She went and silently closed the door before going back over to Alex and gazed at him. "Would you know if Sam has been attacked by those things before...?" Grace asked quietly, but she had a hint of seriousness in her voice. "Jack isn't like me, normal humans shouldn't be able to see him, that's why I'm asking..." Jack smiled a little when Sam fell asleep and gently brought a blanket over her shoulders, careful not to wake her.

"All I know is one day she was screaming and I chased away two things.. they could have been something else. But that's all I know." Alex said with a raised eye. "Why can I see him? Cuz I had the run in with you?" He asked again. He was cerious and hoped Sam was safe. Sam was sleeping soundly, dreaming quietly and turning in her sleep.

Grace sat and placed a hand on her head. "She's safe alright, don't worry..." She said before going into thought. ~Two things that could've been different than those things from earlier? Alex can see him because of me but that doesn't explain why-~ Her thoughts came to a train-wreck and she shook her head. "Maybe Sam's not a normal human being." Grace said in hushed tone without thinking. "You can see him because of me. Sam can see him too but shouldn't be able to and Jack hasn't changed back into a rabbit since he met her in his 'true form'." She was talking in a slight rush because of how fast her mind was racing. ~Why do things always have to get more complicated?!~ Grace thought to herself.

Alex looked at grace. "That's right." He said sliding to the edge of the bed."that don't make sence there had to be another way she can see him." He said as he walked to the door and placed his hand on the door handle. "There has to be a good reason for it though." He added looking back at her, he had a worried look on his face, but he wanted to have her help.

Grace shifted her gaze to Alex and she slowly stood again, showing that she would help in any way she could. Jack had carefully moved Sam to the bed in which Grace never used because he didn't want to wake her. He stayed in the room with her and laid on the king-sized matrices beside her.

Alex walked out of the room and saw jack carrying Sam to another room. He looked back at grace. "sam is outmof it, and jacks laying her down" alex said as he redbud the door. "we better get rest as well." he added walking back and sitting back down. "as you said we can keep worrying about it. He rested back laying down beside her.

Grace smirked lightly and gave a small nod before letting her wings shift to a comfortable position so she could lay down without hurting them. "Today must've been hard on her so it makes since." She said quietly as she rolled over to look at Alex when he laid down next to her before her eyes slowly drifted closed and she was asleep within minutes. That's when the unknown nightmare began.

Alex was asleep not long after grace was. His usual nightmare began and he just tossed and turned in his sleep. He was closer to her than when e was when he laid down. This time there was something different in it, he could sence Sam being in the dream for the first time. She was the one being chased and not him.

Grace awoke about an hour or so after falling asleep and found herself staring at the ceiling. She managed to steady her breathing after a few minutes of taking nice, quiet, calming breaths. Without a clue on why she had the strange dream she tried not to think too hard on it. ~Was that... ..me?~ She thought to herself, not even noticing that her wings had a light silver tint to them now.

Alexs dream shagged from Sam to grace. She wasnt in any of his dreams before either, but suddenly since he was feeling closer to her, she was. There was a figure poking at her making her do something she wasn't too sure about. Alex couldn't tell what that was but he could tell it was hurting grace more. He shot awake and sat up. He had sweat running down his face. "you alright grace?" he asked softly not sure if she was awake or not.

Grace jumped a little when Alex suddenly shot awake and she sat up, looking at him with a soft expression. "I'm fine, couldn't sleep." She answered quietly. "What about you? You gave me a light fright." Grace asked with a hint of concern in her voice. Her wings went back to snow white as soon as Alex woke up.
