Damien sighed, "because i was tild that if i got close to anyone that they woukd die." he said simoky and he smiked at hoe koinu was right now "i was told this right before i was throne out of heaven and i dont want anyone to die. So i have to stay alone." he said as he looked at him.

"Oh... I'm sorry... hey how about we go ahead and eat that should help lighten the mood a bit right?" Sarunoko smiled some hoping that it would. He then clapped his hands twice and all six(I'm saying six cuz I don't remember how many I had said there was before XD ) of the girls, plus the girl that was now holding the child, and the male all looked up, even Koinu. It seemed that this was something they were use to for they had all quieted down when they heard Sarunoko clap. "Is anyone else hungry?" Sarunoko smiled before watching as the others filled up the seats at the long table that they had already place the food and plates on. There were three empty seats, one by Koinu, one at the head of the table, then one across from Koinu. Sarunoko took his seat at the head of the table then gestured to the seat beside Koinu though as he did Koinu looked at the seat across from her before looking around at her siblings and then to Sarunoko wondering where her mother was not knowing that she was bed bound.

Damien smiled when he heard him and was glad that he wanted to stop talking about this. When he called everyone over he took his place next to Koinu though got worried when he saw her looking at the empty seat. he wasn't sure what that ment but he hoped that everything was okay. Looking over at her he gently patted Koinu's hand gently and gave her a small smile.

Koinu looked at Damien then smiled a little sheepishly. "Um... Master Sarunoko? Where's Mom?" Koinu asked softly and Sarunoko sighed a bit looking down. "After dinner I'll take you to see her okay?" Sarunoko said softly though hoped that that would be okay.... he didn't want to bring up the fact that her mother had been bed bound and was very ill.

Damien looked over at master sarunoko and wondered teh same thing. Though eh had a sickening feeling that her mother wasn't doing very well. Gently he patted Koinus hand before smiled at her, hoping that his feeeling was wrong and that this smile was just to tell her to trust his word and not worrya bout this till after dinner. He then looked at the food and smiled, he was actually very hungry.

Koinu looked at Damien and smiled some at him before eating a bit though couldn't wait to go see her mother and hoped that everything was okay. Once they had all finished eating Sarunoko stood and Koinu soon did as well. "Come now... I will take you to see your mother... you may also come Damien if you would like." he said softly and Koinu looked at Damien wondering if he was going to come before she looked back at Sarunoko wondering what was wrong with her mother.

Damien smiled as he ate and thought that everything tasted good but when he looked at Koinu he knew that something was wrong. ONce they were done he listened and knew that Koinu might heed him. "I would like to come if that is all right." he said as he looked at the both of them.

"Of course it's okay right Koinu?" Sarunoko said and Koinu nodded with a bit of a smile before they went to the room where her mother was. As soon as they got in the room Koinu felt like crying and ran over to her mother seeing her looking like she was in pain and very sick. In the room there was also a older looking boy and girl both looking like Koinu and her mother... clearly they were older siblings. As soon as Koinu's mother saw her she smiled warmly but weakly and gave her a weak and tired hug seeming to be so fragile right now. Sarunoko watched this sadly before tapping on Damien's shoulder and motioning for him to step outside with him.

Damien smiled and followed to the room. Yet when he saw who was in it and what was happening he knew that none of this owuld be good. When he felt Sarunoko he nodded and followed him outside after he looked at Koinu. ONce outside he looked at him, "when did this happen and what do they have?" he asked softly.

"Koinu's mother is the only one that's sick... the other two are two of her oldest siblings and they're taking care of her mother... when Koinu left, not even a day later, her mother started to really get sick... she had already been a little sick for awhile but no matter what doctor I take her to or I have come here they don't know what's wrong with her... those two never leave her side, which is why you didn't see them at dinner. They are her two oldest children and they are very close to her... like Koinu is but a bit closer... I wish I knew what was wrong with her mother but I don't." Sarunoko said quietly as he glanced back at the room hearing Koinu's mothers weak voice as they spoke. "I think she's dieing but I don't want to tell Koinu or the others.... she doesn't want me to tell them..." He said softly and sadly and it was clear that he did have a love for the woman though it also seemed to be in a friendly type way and not so much romantic.

Damien frowned when he heard him and looked back at the room. A fallen could feel death and that was what he ahd been feeling from her. He then nodded, "I promise not to tell them either." he said as he looked at him. He then looked at Koinu and her mother. He could tell that she didn't have much time left and then looked back to Sarunoko. "when she goes I will make sure that she will have a safe trip, it is the least I can do after everything." he said

"Thank you... that would be much ablidged and really more then I could ask for... I just hope that little Koinu will be okay... she is one of the youngest and has always been the closest to her mother..." Sarunoko said softly and you could tell that he really was very worried about Koinu along with the others though it seemed it was most worried about Koinu right now.

Damien noddee and looked at koinu, "i will stay." he said softly before looking at him. "i will stay here as log as koinu needs someone to help her and be there for her when it happens. But when she dosent need me i will go." he said and looked at koinu. He knew it was a big risk for him to be staying but he had to make sure that she was okay. So he would stay for as log as she needed him.

"Are you sure? I thought that you were too worried about something happening if you stayed?" Sarunoko asked softly though knew that none of the others could hear them still so he wasn't so worried about it. He knew that Koinu would be happy to hear that Damien was staying but he worried a little since he knew that bad things did tend to happen when a dark angel was near.

Damien sighed and nodded, "i am worried about what will happen but i want.. No have to make sure that koinu is happy and safe. If i have to stay then i will but i will keep a eye on her and make sure that nothing will happen to her." he said as he looked at him.

Sarunoko nodded them smiled. "You are a very good guardian then.... even if you're a dark angel." he said softly then looked over and saw Koinu curled up asleep next to her mother and her mother also fast asleep though something seemed off with her breathing. The other two kids, who were older then Koinu, soon moved away from them and left the room both smiling a bit sadly and tiredly... they could guess that their mother was close to death though knew that her having Koinu back meant the world to her.

Damien smirked when he heard him and wondered what he would say if he told him that Fallen couldn't become Guardians. It was almost impossible and he was surprised that hew as even able to do it. Fallen were suppose to be the ones who tried to kill angels and things like that. Yet here Damien was, protecting a girl he cared about and coudlnt' be with. For a fellan this was truely odd yet it felt completely right for damien. When he saw Koinu asleep he walked over and picked up a blanket. He wrapped it around Koinu and made sure that she was comfortable. He smiled at her and then headed back over to Sarunoko, "thanks, I try to be." he said as he smiled at him.

"Wall that's always good to know... I really don't want Koinu to get hurt.... I think of her as one of my own children really..." Sarunoko said with a smile then thought some and pulled the door to the room almost all the way shut but left it open allittle so they would hear if anything was wrong. "Come, let us let them rest.... I'm sure you'd like me to show you to your room anyway." he asked softly and hoped that he did stay for at least a little while.... for Koinu's sake.

Damien nodded as he watched him pull the door shut and looked at Koinu threw the crack. He then smiled at Sarunoko, "I would appriciate it if you showed me to my room." he said and looked back at hte door for a second. He woul dmake sure that Koinu's mother went peacefully, hopefully that would make Koinu a little happier.

Sarunoko nodded before leading Damien to his room and opened the door showing a pretty good sized room that looked very nicely decorated. "This is your room for now... Koinu's room is right across from yours... so she might wander in here at night... she always used to anyway... also my room is three doors down from yours." he said softly with a little bit of a smile though didn't say who had originally had the room that Koinu would come in to sleep with.... it still bothered him a bit...

Damien smiled when he got to his room and wondered just how long he would be staying here for. "thanks.. for everything." he said as he smiled at him. He then headed into his room and smiled at he sat down on the bed. It was only then did he relaized how tired he was. All day he had been on alert, tense and ready to sping at a moments notice. Yet here they were safe or at least he hoped he did. Closing his eyes he thought of Koinu and wished there was something more he could do about her mother.

"I'm sure you're tired from your journey so why don't you go ahead and rest? Everything will be fine I assure you, this house is very safe." Sarunoko smiled before leaving the room and shutting the door behind him

(sorry it's short but I couldn't really think of anything else XP also when should we have the dark angels come for Koinu? Maybe during the night?)

Damien smiled and nodded before he let himself fall back onto the bed. He slowly let his eyes close and before he knew it he was fast asleep.

(so how shall we have this happen? Should Koinu still be in her mothers room, her room, or Damien's room?)

((how about she heads back to her room but when she decides to go to Damien they are their waiting for her outside the room and take her))
