I stopped when she did, smiling. "Good! We have the same lunch then." I pointed over my shoulder. "My class is just down the hall, so I'll stop by to walk with you." I was beyond pleased that we had the same lunch period. For once in my life, I would actually be eating lunch with a friend instead of sitting on the roof by myself. What wasn't there to be happy about?

I gave a grin."great! see you then?",I asked happily. Just to make sure he wasn't pulling my leg.

"Yeah, I'll see ya." I gave her a little wave and walked to my class, scowling the second she was gone. Back to reality...

I watched him go smileing some as I entered class, heading to the back of the room. Then a frown came to my face as the boy and his friends came into class ,each of them scowling at me. But decideing it was best to icnore them I pulled out note book and pretended to take notes. When in reality , I was lost in my own thought aain. Witch I loved, it made time fly by, like I hadn't even been in the clas longer the 15 mniites. Gathering my things as the bell rang, I went into the hall quickly. I looked around for Howl, i frowned not seeing him yet,but figured he was on is way. So I desided to head for the direction of his class But stopped as I felt an arm go around me. Loooking I glared seeing the boy from class.
"I'll forgive YOU for everything , if yo stop hanging with the other freak and join me for lunch",he said to me in a cold tone. I glared to him."how,dare, you",I muttered,and grabbed him by the arm that he had wraped around me and in one swift motion i flipped him onto his back before hw knew what was going on. "hands off" I warned and with that headed for Howls class roo once again.

I had fallen asleep in class, waking up to the teacher shaking me and glaring. "Ah, sorry," I mumbled, getting up with my things.
She handed me a slip of paper. "Detention again, Mr. Bardoph."
I scowled. "Seriously?"
"Yes. Immediately after school."
I groaned. "Can I do it tomorrow or before school?" No way was I dropping my plans with the new girl.
"Immediately after school."
Muttering a string of curses under my breath, I left the room to see Yukina walking towards the room, the boy from earlier getting off the floor. I ignored him, smiling at her. "Hey. Sorry, I fell asleep." I slipped the detention slip into my back pocket. "Wanna get lunch now?"

I gave a smiled seeing Howl."It's okay, it happens" I said happy to see him then nodded."yeah I am starving!",I said somewhat shyly. :so hows the food here?",I asked as we headed down the hall.

I gave a little shrug. "It's alright. I tend to stay away from everything other than the sandwiches they have. We can buy our food, then go up to the roof. I usually eat up there, if you don't mind."

I smiled."good to know",I said then grinned."sure the roof is just fine with me, its probabbly peacefull up there right?",I asked smiling. At my old schools, he roof was my domain. The one place I could go and relax peacfully.

"Yeah, it's real nice up there." I pointed to a few kids in front of us that were shoving each other playfully. "None of them. Usually I call my dad at lunch and talk to him, but I think he'd forgive me for skipping that call today."

I loooked to the idiots infront of me and smiled some then blinked as he menconed his dad."If you want to call your dad, go ahead, i could meet you on the roof, I dont want to interupt anything"I said relaxed.

I shrugged a little as we entered the cafeteria. "I don't mind. I'll talk to him after school anyway." My dad just got lonely a lot. It wasn't nearly as bad as it used to be, of course. Ever since my mom died when I was six, he turned all of his attention to me. I didn't find it annoying, of course. Just a little odd sometimes. Like when he insisted on pulling me out of public school ust so I could stay home and be taught.

I gave a smile."alright ,if your sure" I said looking around the cafiteria."wow this cafiteria is hudge,much bigger then my old school" I said with a small grin. "i'm glad were going to the rooof", I said with a small giggel as we stood in line.

"All the more room to hoard idiots in," I teased. I walked to the a la carte line and bought a sandwich and a can of pop, waiting for her at the end of line. I couldn't help but smile a little. I liked having a friend, even if this was only day one of knowing her.

I laughed a little at his complement. "right",I said and also bought a sandwitch a chocolate milk. Then met him at the end of the line."all set?"

"Yeah." I started walking out of the cafeteria, opening a door that warned Authorized Personnel Only. I started going up the stairs, taking them two at a time. "The view's great from up here." Why was I bragging about it?

I smiled following him. I blinked at the sighn. Shakeing my head i quickly followed him up the stairs."then I can't wait to see t", I said with a wide grin.

I reached the top and held the door open for her, being a bit more showy than I needed to be. "Welcome to the best lookout money can buy," I introduced, grinning. It felt odd to be sharing this spot with someone else, but I didn't mind. Hopefully, I wouldn't regret it.

Walking out I smiled looking araound."wow this is amazeing!",I said happily taking in the veiw."this is amazeing!"

I laughed a little, glad she liked it. "Isn't it?" I sat down on the ledge, precariously looking down at the school's parking lot. "There's my car," I told her, pointing to my black Jeep that was covered in mud.

I smiled as made my way over to it."nice!"I said very impressed. "do you go off roading alot?",I asked seeing the mud. I loved the out doord and going off roading when ever i could. So meeting someone who may also love it made me very happy.

I nodded. "Yeah, you could say that." I pointed to a forest a few miles off. "I live near there, so I take my car back a lot." I unwrapped my sandwich and took a bite. I was smiling, glad that she seemed so interested.

I grinned."thats great , your so lucky!", I said softly."i love the out doors, if I could i would live near a forest!",I said sitting beside Howl and also unwrapped my sandwitch. "so are you sure you still want to walk me home after school?",I asked worried. Hopeing I wasnt intrudeing on anything he may have planed earlyer.

I laughed a bit. "My family's a nature-loving bunch too. We need our space." I wasn't about to tell her why we needed it. Odds were, she wouldn't even believe me. I scowled when she brought it back up. "Yeah, uh... I kinda have a detention after school now. Sorry." I frowned and took another bite.

My smile faded some."oh,okay",I siad takeing a bite."its no prolem",I said taking a sip of chocolate milk.Then smiled to Howl."maybe next time then?"

I nodded, cracking open my pop can. "Yeah. Can you see your house from here?" With any luck, she lived near me.
