"I'm not gorgeous...but thank-you. Oh, you're welcome Gemini." he said and snuggled closer to her. Looking up at the sky, he noticed it was dark out and the moon was rising up in the sky, a few stars had started to shine too.

Gemini followed Ethan's gaze up to the darkening sky,and smiled."It's so pretty.At the castle,there were too many lights to see the stars properly.Out here,they are as clear as day.And so many of them! Ethan,you live in a beautiful place." She told him.

"I live in the woods...I suppose it is beautiful though." Ethan answered as he looked up at the many stars up in the night sky. "I'm glad you like where I live Gemini...because it's where you'll be living now too." he said softly and kissed her cheek. "I love you Gemini." he whispered.

Gemini smiled at him."I love you,too.And I'm glad I'll be living here.I love the sound of crickets at night,and the stars and the animals." She said,snuggling up close to him.Just then,her stomach growled and she blushed brightly.

Ethan smiled and traced a finger along the curves of her body. Hearing her stomach, he chuckled and looked at the stars. "Maybe we should get back home so that you can eat?" he suggested. "I'll get something to eat to don't worry." he added softly before kissing her neck gently. "Although I really don't want to move, I like where I'm at right now...with you in my arms." he said quietly and nuzzled her cheek.

Gemini laughed softly."Now,there's my problem.Sure,I'm hungry,but I don't want to move..." She said,twining her fingers with his."I could fall asleep like this.Stay this way,with you,forever." She added with a smile.But her stomach persisted,as if arguing with her.She laughed again."But I guess there's always time for this.We have the rest of our lives to be together."

Ethan smiled and kissed her hand as she intertwined her fingers with his. "You and me both Gemini." he agreed and kissed her softly before chuckling at her stomach. "Well your stomach seems persistent Gemini!" he said and laughed. "You're right, there will always be time for this, because we'll always be together. No one is going to keep us apart anymore, I promise." he said and looked at her with love in his eyes.

Gemini beamed up at Ethan,happy with his promise that they would always be together."Okay.Let's go,I'll make dinner.How does steak sound? I know I said before that I don't eat meat,but I always loved it and it's probably not healthy to have no protein so...." She trailed off,blushing as she recalled the scene she made when she had first gotten there.She still wouldn't eat eggs,though.

"Steak sounds lovely." he answered and chuckled before kissing her blushing cheeks lightly. "Let's go then Gemini, before your stomach starts to protest again." he suggested and laughed as he remembered how she reacted when he gave her eggs. "I'll be sure never to give you eggs though." he promised.

Gemini laughed and blushed."Right,thanks.I'm morally against eggs...as well as allergic.Anyway,let's go." She said,standing up.As she stretched out and started back towards the house,something struck her."Ethan..." She blushed brightly,"When we were...I mean,while we...um...where was Skylar while we were...?" She asked,struggling to word her question.She knew it was odd to worry,since Skylar was a baby dragon and wouldn't understand anyway,but for some reasons he didn't want him to have seen anything.She almost felt like she was protecting a little sibling.

Ethan began to walk beside her back to the house and stopped walking when she mentioned Skylar. "S-Skylar?" he repeated and looked up at the trees but saw no sigh of the baby dragon. "He...was..." he started and began to panic. Where was he?! "I...I think he's back at the house...or maybe he went off to fly around. I...I'm sure he's fine though." he said, trying to reassure himself but it wasn't working.

Gemini picked up on th e worry that Ethan was showing,and started to worry herself."Let's keep calm.We'll start looking at the house." She said,trying to sound reasonable.

Ethan nodded and felt like crying. "Skylar!?" he called out as he began to run off towards the house. He's fine...he's sleeping outside the door I'm sure. Skylar you're alright buddy....right? I mean, you wouldn't go off and get lost. Relax Ethan...Skylar is fine. What if he's not though? What if he's hurt? all this was running through his head and the tears formed just thinking that Skylar was lost and possibly hurt.

Gemini broke into a run just at the same time Ethan did.She couldn't help feeling guilty,that it was her fault that Skylar was lost.What would happen if they couldn't find him? She shook her head,refusing to contemplate such a thing.They would find Skylar.He would be fine.

Ethan reached the house and noticed he had left the window open. Throwing the door open, Ethan looked at the couch and armchair but found nothing. "S-Skylar? he said quietly as he looked in the kitchen and frowned. Quickly, Ethan walked to his room and sighed when he saw Skylar sleeping there. "Skylar!" he called and quickly hugged him as the tears fell down his cheeks. "You scared me! I don't ever want you scaring me again!" he hissed. Skylar looked at him and screeched softly as he bit Ethan's ear. "Ouch...you must be hungry buddy." whispered Ethan.

Gemini was quick in following Ethan.She didn't enter his room,but stayed in the doorway,not wanting to enter uninvited.She watched the scene with mixed relief and happiness.It was touching to see how much Ethan cared about Skylar.It occurred to her that Skylar was the only company that Ethan had,and the two must be closer than brothers.Despite how tough Ethan could seem,he was really very sensitive,especially when it came to the baby dragon.His tears proved that much."Skylar...I'm glad you're all right." She said.

I don't know what I would so if you were gone Skylar. I'd be alone again, the house would be quiet and seem empty. he thought to himself as he let the tears continue to fall to the floor. Skylar screeched and nuzzled Ethan's moist cheek before looking over at Gemini and cooing softly. Ethan followed Skylar's gasped and gasped when he saw Gemini watching. "G-Gemini...y-you can come inside it's okay." he stuttered and quickly wiped away his tears. He had never cried in front of anyone before, he always thought it was rude to cry in front of people. He had always tried to put on a strong and tough face for everyone...he never showed any weakness. Despite how I look...deep inside I'm nothing more than a child who cries when he loses his favorite toy. Yet, I try so hard to hide my inner child...because I'm not a child anymore...right? he thought to himself.

Gemini walked in quietly and knelt down next to Ethan."It's ok to cry,you know.You let me cry all over youIt's only fair that you should be able to show how you are feeling in front of me." She said,placing a hand on his arm.She looked at Skylar."Skylar,it looks like it's up to the two of us to take care of Ethan.He never got to be a kid properly,so we'll show him how.Right?"

"No...i-it's rude to cry in front of people. I will not cry." he said and shook his head. Looking at Gemini he frowned and sighed softly. "Truth is...I don't like showing my emotions to anyone...it makes me feel vulnerable and I hate it." he whispered and smiled softly. "I let you cry because I know it's good to cry...I know it's bad to keep your feelings bottled up inside. Even though I know this, I can't bring myself to do the same as everyone else." he explained. Skylar screeched and sat perched on Gemini's shoulder, listening.

Gemini smiled softly."It's all right.Ethan,I'm here for you,for good.For better or worse,and I'll be here for a long time.There will be times when we have to show our emotions,no matter how much we don't want to.You have no idea how badly I want to appear strong in front of you.But if I have to cry,I will,because I know you won't judge me.It's not a sign of weakness at all.In fact...I think someone who is able to cry in front of someone else is undeniably strong.I'm not going to force you,but I want you to know that I'm here if you need me." She told him,and stroked Skylar's head gently."And same for you,Skylar.I'm here for both of you." She added fondly.

Ethan blinked in surprise at what she was saying and hugged her tightly. "Thank-you. I'm happy to hear you say that Gemini." he whispered and continued to hold her lovingly. "Of course you'll be here...you'll be here forever because I'm never letting you go, no one will ever take you from me. That, and Skylar has grown fond of you." he added and smiled. Skylar nuzzled Gemini's hand and screeched before biting Ethan's ear.

Gemini chuckled."You're welcome.And I'm so glad Skylar likes me,too.I like Skylar alot." She said,grinning as the dragon bit Ethan's ear."Well,I guess we're all hungry.I'll get started on that steak." She said.

Ethan smiled and threw a blanket over Skylar before kissing Gemini lovingly. "We don't won't little Skylar watching huh?" he teased and kissed her once more. "I love you Gemini." he said and smiled before letting her go. Skylar screeched from underneath the blanket and soon was free. "There, There Skylar you're okay." soothed Ethan.

Gemini smiled into the kiss.When the broke apart,she beamed at Ethan and Skylar."I love you,too." She said."Both of you." With that,she went off into the kitchen to start preparing the steaks.

Ethan smiled and played around with Skylar as if he were a child...but they were best friends after all. After a while, Skyler flew over to the kitchen and watched Gemini happily. Ethan smiled and quickly closed the window he had left open before sitting on the armchair and thinking about nothing in particular.
