(actually she ran in to save Jake and ended up almost dieing herself XP Jake was the one that fought the other mage, well what ideas do you have other then that?)

((Well, it could be some other dragon hunters heard that there was a unusual dragon in that house and that dragon had a high price on his head. :O))

Manna smiled at Jake as they walked out of the house the next day. "So did you sleep well?" she asked softly since it was still morning not too long after they had both gotten up. She had asked him to help her pick some herbs for a medicine she was making for a child in town... she wasn't hated by everyone after all... and she did know more about medicine then anyone else in town.

(sorry if it kinda sucks)

Jake yawned for the fourth time and looked at Mana. "Hmmm? Oh yes, I slept quiet well last night. I swear as the more days go by the more I am determined to sleep." He said with a little bit of a grumble as he streached, trying to get the feeling of sleep from his body. He was looking around the woods as they walked looking for the herbs Mana had described to him, he was even smelling the air trying to find the sent that had been described as well.

(It's fine. :D)

"Heh, yeah since you are half human you do need to sleep... but so do dragons... some just sleep with their eyes open...maybe that's what was wrong and why you couldn't sleep?" Mana suggested as she found one of the herbs that they needed and bent down to get it.

((I will need to think about the trap XD))

Jake thought about what Mana had just said and he nodded at the suggestion. "Well. That might be what it is then. After all humans can't sleep with their eyes open and my dragon half is what forces me to sleep with them open." He said nodding again, he knew that must be the reason for his sleeping dissorder. When he saw Mana bend down he looked over to what she was looking at and tilted his head a little. "That's the herb we are after?" He asked while walking over to her, but as he was walking over their was a click and then a cage dropped down and trapped the two.

(I like both ideas but the cage sounds better since that way Mana can be tortured by watching Jake get tortured and viceversa XP so how are you?)

(She's a dragon mage and they would know that because she is the only one that lives out there in the forest that they know of XP )

Mana smiled and nodded. "Yes this is what I was looking for... well one of them." she said softly as she stood then heard a click and before she could say anything to get Jake to move a cage came down around them and she snarled. "FINALLY! A halfling AND the dragon mage." a male said as he moved out from behind a tree and Mage started to growl more and went to attack the cage wall but as soon as she touched it a large shock ran through her and she cried out falling to the ground that was actually metal.

(I am busy lately)

Jake watched Mana try to touch the bars and saw her get shocked, he stepped forward and knelt beside her. "Are you okay? It didn't shock you too much did it?" He asked hoping it wasn't as bad as it had looked. He then glared up at the male with a low growl, he stood up and made sure he was in front of Mana. "You may be protected by these bars, but let me warn you, should you try to even come in this cage... The bars will no longer be grey." He threatened with a louder growl.

"Big threats for something that can't even protect his mate." the male grinned and Mana sneered at him a bit before cringing from the pain and looked up at Jake then tried to sit up but only fell back down letting out a soft cry and held her hands close to her as you could start to see blood dripping from them from where they had touched the bars. "Heh and I had heard that the dragon mage was strong, guess those rumors were false. Now you two just sit tight while I go and get my colleagues." the male grinned again before walking off to go get help to bring them in.
