”You seemed awfully hopeful earlier. You mentioned something about a Gabriel. Was he your lover?” Merik was still fishing for information from the angel. Dispite the angel seeming agitated, the man continued to rub his wings. Kai needed to learn that he belonged to Merik. It didn’t matter if he enjoyed something or not, he should always act like it.

A compulsion came over Merik, and he followed it, tugging out a feather and holding it up, gazing at it. “These things could make me rich.”

((owo ouch...))

Kai scoffed when he heard the other ask if Gabriel was his lover. Sure that was something that he had wanted, but he knew that the other was in love with Lorelei, another arc angel. The two of them made a beautiful pair, he almost envied them. No, he did envy them, and the way that they were so free. Free to choose who they wanted to love, and share the rest of their immortal lives with. He felt the other's hands still on his wings, clearly not taking the hint that he didn't like what the other was doing. He flapped his wings again this time with more force, but froze when he felt the other's hands tug a little too hard on one of his feathers. He had pulled out one of his primary flight feathers. "Oww," he yelled out in surprise. "Stop it no! Let me go!" He glanced at the other male from the corner of his eye to glare at the other. He then shuddered when he heard the other say that he could become rich off of his feathers. Kai's feathers were teal in color, which was rare among angels. Most angels had white colored feathers, with various colors of creams, yellows, and even some gold. However, his feathers were a darker shade. The were a deep teal color like that of the ocean near the shore.

It was true that he had more feathers, and that they probably would grow back in time, but still he needed those ones to fly especially since he knew that he would be able to escape soon. If he was lucky the other would just leave him like that. He would be royally screwed if the other cut the edges off his primaries though because that would make him truly flightless since he wouldn't be able to get any updraft.

He tried to roll off of the bed to get away from the other, but because of the leather cuffs that were binding him he ended up falling to the floor in the worst position that he could ever have been in. His arms were twisted above his head, and, and the cuff that was around his ankle wasn't in too good of shape either.

The older man laughed, placing the feather on his nightstand before rolling, so he was laying sideways on the bed. He peered down at the angel. “Comfortable?” He leaned down a bit further, brushing his lips over the boy’s cheek. “Listen and listen good Kai. You belong to me. You are my pet. If you ever tell me to stop something again, I will pull each and every one of your feathers out one by one. Now. Tell me you are mine.” Merik demanded softly.

Kai continued to struggle. Not get away from the other male, but to get into a better position. He bit back a snide remark when he heard the other ask if he was comfortable. Of course he wasn't comfortable. Was this man insane? He had been captured, tied down against his will, and now the other had pulled out one of his feathers. He froze when he felt the other's lips ghost over his cheek, and then he began shivering when the other whispered his threats in his ear. He whimpered at the end of it when he had to tell the other that he would belong to him. He felt another sliver of his will being wittled away. Biting his lip he opened his mouth, but no words would come out. He was at a loss right now. He knew what he had to do, but he didn't want to admit it to the other that he was totally powerless against the other. Another part of him wanted to just get it out of the way, so he would be left unharmed. Then again even if he had something, there was truly no guarantee that he would remain unharmed. The man had already proven himself to be the sadistic kind. He opened his mouth again and whispered as quietly as he could,"I belong to you."

Right away Merik yanked another feather from the angel, running his fingers through the soft mass to find one of the down feathers he knew would be below the surface.
“I’m sorry, did you say something?” He pushed, grinning. Oh course he wouldn’t let Kai whisper. This was a man who dominated everything he could, and he made sure whatever it was know this as well. “Speak up, angel, or lose more…”

Crying out in pain he tried to inch further away from the other. He knew that by doing this he was probably opening himself up for more pain. He knew that he wasn't going to get away from other male, at least right now he wasn't. He figured he would need to become better at picking his fights. Shifting his wings again as he stopped struggling he glanced up at the other as he put his hand on the bed so that he was staring up at the other. "Alright," said Kai a little louder. "I-I belong to you." He paused. "If it would be alright with you can you please unlock these?" he continued by motioning towards the cuffs that were around his wrist and ankle.

The human patted the angel’s head with a smirk. “Good boy…” His tone was rather demeaning, as if he was talking to a mutt. At the angel’s question, he simply laughed and shook his head. He reached down, and tugged Kai back on the bed. “Not yet. Someone is coming today and installing bars on the inside of the greenhouse windows. And tomorrow, I’m having my vet come up here. He’s gonna clip your wings. Then we’ll put you in your new environment. Have you ever met a harpy before? I need to know whether or not I should move her. She’d probably rip you to shreds…” Merik eyed the angel. He couldn’t let that happen to his newest pet. “I think you’ll like the greenhouse. I’ve got all kinds of fruit trees growing in it…”

He felt the others hand on his head and he tried to shake it off. The other was relenting that he had even gone out of the gates of Heaven. He felt himself being hoisted back onto the bed. Letting out a huff he laid there trying to figure out a better course of action so he could escape. He shivered though and shifted a little when he heard the other say that someone would be coming in the day after today to come and clip his wings. Clip his wings!? His eyes widened, if that happened he knew that he wasn't going to get out of here alive ever again. He heard the other say something about how he was going to be placed in the greenhouse, where there was a supposedly a harpy. Harpies and angels didn't get along together at all. Period. "No," replied Kai as he tried to figure out a way to escape. He glanced over at the bowl of fruit longingly as his stomach growled. He then turned his head away from the food and closed his eyes. He wasn't going to let the other have anymore satisfaction with him being a docile pet. He had resigned himself to his fate, but there was no way that he was going to make it any easier for the other male.

Merik shrugged. "Didn't think so...she's not exactly the nicest of my group..." He followed Kai's gaze to the bowl of fruit and grinned. He selected a plum, examining it before holding it in front of the male, wiggling it. "Hungry? Here..." He held it close enough for the boy to bite. It was another control game. He was making it clear the angel wouldn't be allowed to eat without Merik feeding him.

Kai continued to stare at the far wall towards the window. There was a shifting on the bed and soon there was a plum being shoved into his face. He knew what the other was planning. He turned his head and buried his head in the nearby pillow. He wasn't going to eat out of the other's hand like some kind of dog. He was an angel for god's sake, not some dog, and there was no one alive that was going to demean him like this. He pulled and pushed against the other probably in a vain attempt to hurt the other, but an attempt none the less.

The angel began squirming and pulled away, so Merik put the plum back. He sat up, then straddled the innocent creature. "Do you know how people used to break horses, Kai?" He stated, his voice calm but holding a layer of danger. "They used to tie the horse so it couldn't rear or buck...then they threw the saddle and tied it as tight as they could usually restricting the horses air. Then someone would get on and the horse was released. When that person was thrown, another would get on. They would do this until the horse was exhausted and simply obeyed to stop the stress and paid. That's why they call them broken. You needed to break the horses spirit."
Merik grinned evily, his fingers playing with the boy's shirt, dipping under to rub his stomach. "Will I need to break you like that? I assure you, Kai...I want to. I'm trying to be nice...but I can be cruel if you'd like..."

He didn't like being in this position, at all. Period. He heard the other talk about breaking a horse. They had done the same things with the horses in Heaven. While being celestial beings themselves the horses there had an underlying issue with pride. The only way to break them was to show them who was in charge. It was also a right of passage for angels since they bonded with their winged horses for life. After the initial breaking, there was nothing but love and affection given to them. He tried to wriggle his body to get an arm, a leg free.

Another Angel, Sage, looked up at the sky, wondering where he had just heard his name. Glancing around he donned on his shirt and pants and went out the door. He and the other arc angels had been looking for Kai for at least three days now. There were no leads thus far about where the other had gone, but he was pretty sure where the other went. He knew that Kai had always been fascinated with the realm of the mortals. That was where he must have gone. He knew what he had to do, but getting the other arc angels to approve of it was going to be near impossible.

The angel's crying and panic only made Merik smile more. He leaned over, covering and pinning the boy's body down with his, before nuzzling his cheek gently. He pressed a kiss to Kai's cheek, his hands continuing between their bodies, rubbing tiny circles on the pale flat stomach.
"Sage, huh?" He whispered into Kai's ear. "Let me tell you something, Kai. My name is the only one you should be saying. There is no 'Sage' here. There's no one to save you. You are mine, through and through. Maybe it's time to learn this, ne?"

((Sure it sounds like it is going down that way so after this post we can go to E-mail. As for comfort zone I think I should be fine, but thanks for the concern.))

Meanwhile in Heaven, Sage stood before the other counsel members."What is the meaning of this. You're not going to save, Kai?!" yelled Sage as he glared up at the other members."Are you just going to sit around when he is being tortured?!" Before the other members could say anything Sage was flying out the door and down the corridor to the awaiting outside. He was going to get him back, if he had to challenge all of Heaven. He was his mate, his pair bond and nothing was going to keep him from that.

It took several long moments before Merik could catch his breath. He was, after all, a bit older. Once it had come back, the man sat up and reached over to pick up the bowl of fruit. He turned to offer it to Kai, to see the angel curled up. “Now why the he..?”

“What are you doing? Sit up Kai.” Merik commanded gruffly, “Come eat…” He added with a frown. You’d think the angel would be happy right now. Why was he moping?

Kai continued to stare at the distant wall away from Merik. How could he have been like the other angels. He was disgusted with himself. He heard what the other said and before he could even think about it he found himself turning over to glance at the other. Staring at the bowl of fruit in the other's hand he leaned forward as he grabbed the plum that Merik had initially offered him. He took a hesitant bite from it as he chewed on it. The fruits was actually good, and it was rather fresh as well. He took another bite of it as he fluttered his wings a little bit. As he chewed the second bite he let his eyes slide closed as he relished the taste of it. He knew that in a few more days that his wing would be healed, but if what the other said was true he wouldn't be able to fly away either, especially if his wings would be clipped.

Sage stood at the chasm that led to the mortal realm. Swallowing he looked down again as he closed his eyes and stepped off into the blackness. Snapping his wings open he let the updrafts from the wind carry him towards the other's magical signature. He knew that since Kai had a rather large magical aura he would have no problem finding the other male.

The human watched the male for a few minutes quietly. He seemed a bit calmer, though his body language a moment ago had said the opposite. “Kai?” Merik begun hesitantly, “Are you alright?”

Kai looked at the other, a bit puzzled. Maybe the other really did care about him. He was asking him if he was alright as if he cared about him. He then shook his head as he held the plum that he had taken two bites out of as he looked towards the floor. Confusing thoughts ran rampant through his mind. Was he alright? Of course he wasn't alright. Merik had had done unspeakable things to him, and he had let him. He was a shell of his former self, and he felt violated and abused as well. However, even if all that had happened to him. He felt happy and satiated when the other had done those acts to him. "Confused," said Kai as he rubbed his eye with the hand that wasn't holding the plum. "Just confused." Getting up off of the bed, he winced a little bit as his feet hit the ground. "Ouch." said Kai as he sat down on the bed again.

Sage, who was still flying through the air had found Kai's magical signature quite quickly. It was like trying to find torch in a dark room. It was pretty obvious where the other was. Flying lower to the ground he stopped on a tree. It was stronger here, and there were birds around. They seemed utterly distressed and after a quick conversation with them he figured out that Kai had been kidnapped by someone carrying some sort of gun that shot out nets. "Poachers, or bounty hunters," thought Sage as he took flight again.

As Ka sat there on the bed he sneezed as he shivered. "Can I go take a shower?" asked Kai.

((I read somewhere that when people sneeze that means that people are thinking of them. It was some anime or another, but I don't remember which one. Also are we getting more gold for our posts or is my mene account just messing up?))

(I uhm…wow…random much? Lmao, that was awesome. I have no idea. I heard when you sneeze, you’ll have a visitor. I hadn’t actually been paying attention. I normally donate all my gold, so it doesn’t matter to me one way or the other. I’m sorry…I’ll try to pay attention.)

The human thought for a few moments, before finally nodding. He stood and opened his closet, grabbing a towel from the stack nestled unto the shelves inside, the motioned to a door on his left. “I’m sure you realize I’ll be coming in as well…I’ll get you some clean clothes when you are done as well.”

He doubted very much that Kai would wish to be picked up, so Merik waited patiently for the male to enter. “What are you confused about?” He questioned curiously. After having the angel in his bed, he was bound and determined to keep him in it, even if he had to play nice and eliminate the boy’s fears.

Kai paled a little bit when he heard that the other would be joining him in the shower. "Uh you don't have to if you don't want to," stammered Kai as he got shakily to his feet. He felt so utterly weak in front of the other, but he wasn't gong to stoop down to the other's level and ask to be carried. He had more pride than that, and he would die before he asked this man for help.

Pushing passed the other man he ended up in a rather large bathroom. There was a walk in shower and a tub that was set in the middle of the room. He figured that they would probably be heading towards the bath. He didn't really like showers that much since the water was coming from above him, and it soaked more into his wings. He heard the other question him on why he was confused. With his back turned he said,"I mean this whole thing is so new to me."

Sage, saw a rather large house in the distance, and he could feel the faint magical aura of the other. He didn't know why it was faint now either. He did feel the presence of other magical creatures as well, so he figured that that probably had something to do with it. Did that mean that the other was being held against his will there? Sage was pretty sure that the other wasn't dumb enough to go there on his own free will. Sage knew that Kai was naive, but he wasn't stupid.

((Is it too soon to enter another character, because I can have him leave for a while)).

The older man rolled his eyes, entering the bathroom and shutting the door quietly. He set down his towel by the sink, and motioned towards the tub. “I assume they have baths in heaven, and that you know how to use them?” He continued in a rather bored tone. “I’m not here to take a shower with you. I’m gonna sit here and make sure you don’t try to escape. You’re the pride and joy of my collection, plus the most fun. Even after your wings are clipped, I’m not taking any chances with you.”

He shrugged before continuing softly. “Don’t be confused. You liked it, right? And the pain, that lessens a lot with time. The next time, you’ll feel even more pleasure. I promise, Kai.” He smiled, settling down on the toilet and folding his arms over his chest.

Kai scoffed when he heard the other male. Was the other serious. Of course they had showers and baths in Heaven. Was the other male daft, or was he just being arrogant? He let out a sigh of relief though when he heard the other say that he wasn't going to be taking a shower with him. At least that was something off of his chest. Escape? Where the heck was he going to go? There was one entrance, which served as an exit now. Besides, he was pretty sure that the other would be able to outrun him, with his broken wing he knew that he wouldn't be able to fly for a little while. He let out another huff though when he heard the other say that he was still going to go through with clipping his wings. It was such a disgrace. How the heck was he supposed to fly now, even in that green house or whatever it was. Was he supposed to climb. He watched the other go to sit down on the toilet. Kai made his way hesitantly towards the bath as he turned the water on, as he got in. The tub filled up quickly and the warm water was doing miracles for his aching muscles. However, he knew that it was going to be a hassle to get his wings dried, since they retained water.

Grabbing a nearby shampoo bottle he uncapped it and squeezed the bottle so some of it came out. He then closed it and then began washing his hair. Once he was done with that he began washing his body as he began thinking about what the other had said. What did he mean by next time??! Did that mean that he was planning on doing it again. Realization hit him like a ton of bricks and he turned to glare at the other. There wasn't going to be a next time if he had anything to say about it. He was going to get away from this monster.

Sage knew for a fact that Kai was probably in the building. In the building with whoever knows what. He was pretty sure that he would be spotted, so he might as well go and observe the home from the outside, and wait until nightfall before he tried to sneak in. It would also give him more time to find a weak spot where he could get into the house unnoticed.

Merik didn’t do anything but watch, though his eyes roamed over the boy freely. When the angel glared at him, the human simply gave a smile and a wave. Kai could hate him or love him, it didn’t matter to Merik. What did matter was that the angel belonged to him.

Downstairs, the hell hound growled softly, slipping out the dog door into the walled yard. Celestial beings caused him discomfort and slight pain, though he knew the angel his master had brought he wouldn’t be allowed to harm, there was another celestial aura around. A different scent. The jet black mangy hound sniffed the air outside and growled low again.

Kai's glare obviously had no effect on the other so he just continued to wash himself as he moved his wings so they hung out over the edge. He knew that he was probably going to get water all over the floor, but right now he didn't much care. His stomach growled again signalling that eating the plum hadn't been enough. Glancing demurely over his shoulder he looked at Merik as he swallowed his pride and said," Can I have something more to eat, Master." He had to practically force the last word out. He would be at the other's mercy right now until he was able to figure a way out of this whole mess.

Sage glanced around the manor grounds as he scanned the surrounding area for an easy way to get into the house. As he looked towards the house he saw a rather large looking dog, or at least he thought that he could call it a dog, came barreling out of the house. "What in God's name is that?!" thought Sage as he looked at the dog like animal. Pushing himself out of the tree he snapped his wings open as he went flying towards the manor home. He was pretty sure that the animal wouldn't be able to get to the roof, so if he stayed up there and away from the hell hound he figured that he would be alright.

Merik had been about to tell Kai he could wait until his bath was done, but the last word made him grin. Besides, where could the angel go with a broken wing? He left the room, and returned just a moment later with the bowl of fruit. He set it down on the edge of the table, “Here you are pet…enjoy…”

As soon as the angel took wing, the hell hound’s strange vision zeroed in on the form. He ran after it, though the angel was in the air. The dog barked madly, purple dripping from his fangs quickly. It stayed where it had seen the angel land on the roof, continuing his wild barking.

Merik heard the dog, and frowned, glancing at the door. He didn’t get visitors, not unless it was someone he was paying for work. Why would Beast be barking? He glanced suspiciously at Kai, “Hurry up.” Came his command, gruff. He’d tie the angel to his bed again and investigate.
