An Angel's Tattered Wings (0ri0n83 and Kisu 1x1)
This is a private RP between myself (0ri0n83) and Kisu. If you are not one of those two people please do not post here. However, feel free to follow along.
Bio Name: Kai Seraph Age: 21 appearance, 120 actual age Appearance: http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...86c651ecb3.jpg Background: Kai is an in training arc angel who has strayed from the gates of Heaven. Kai is too curious for his own good, and ends up going to Earth for a little while to not only prove to the other angels that he is not some kind of coward, but to also see the land that he has been forbidden to go to. Kai loved feeling the air running through his wings. He loved flying, and the freedom that it entailed. He knew though that if he was caught that he would be severely punished. It was strictly against the rules for heavenly beings to venture out of the heavens, let alone by themselves. He was an in training arc angel as well, and with that he was even more forbidden to go to the realm of mortals. An arc angels' magical ability was based on the purity of their soul, so the less contact that he had with humans or demons alike the stronger his magic would be, and the more powerful he would be in Heaven. Kai knew that he wouldn't be missed though seeing as how the other arc angels were too busy worrying about their own petty war with the demons. It was like a tit for tat battle with the other angels. They would antagonize the demons and then immediately back down. Apparently, it had been like that ever since angels had been created, and the fall of the betrayers. He knew that as soon as he became a full fledged arc angel that that fight would also become his as well, whether he liked it or not. Maybe, the other's would be merciful if he was caught, and pass this off as "a final act of rebellion." Landing on a nearby tree he tucked his wings behind him as he lowered his body so that he was sitting on one of the highest branches. The sun shone brightly above him, and made him smile. He was naturally gifted in song as well, and that was how he formed his magic. Tiny song birds landed next to him, and they soon began singing back and forth to one another. |
(Let’s just see when we get there…Hope you don’t mind the dash of fantasy I’ve thrown in…) Name: Merik Dovkiin Age: Thirty one Appearance: http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w...chaotixwol.jpg Background: A hunter living alone in a forest. Merik has seen things most people don’t believe, and has caught many strange things in his adventures. He collects these exotic creatures in the mansion he inherited from his parents passing. His current collection contains a mermaid, a dragon, a few pixies, a werewolf, and various exotic species of animals people had thought extinct. It was a rather normal day in the woods. Normally, Merik went farther to hunt, however, today something had called him to the forest just behind his massive estate. So far, he’d yet to catch anything at all. After much searching, a rather strange sound reached Merik’s ears. He paused, before quietly following the sound. He was led to a tall tree, and it wasn’t until Merik squinted into the sun that he saw the strange form perched there. It was humanoid, though it looked like wings were coming from it. Puzzled, Merik fumbled on his back, finally pulling out one of his custom guns. It was perfect for catching the things Merik wanted to keep alive, because it shot nets. The human took careful aim, kneeling behind his shelter of bushes, finally pulling the trigger and watching the net whoosh out. |
((nah I don't mind at all. Have fun with it))
Kai continued to call and respond to the bird, and he was having a rather fun time. Had he been more aware of his surrounding he would have sensed the aura of the human near him, however, due to his lack of experience he was completely caught off guard. The group of birds that he was singing to stopped their singing, and looked at him with tiny pleading eyes. Tilting his head to the side he tried to decipher what was going on through his mind when he saw some of the birds take flight into the air. He saw the net come flying towards him through the air. Getting to his feet he tried to take flight, but the net was faster. The black cords got caught around his lithe form and tangled in his wings. He tried to flail a little bit, and in his trapped state ended up losing his balance. Without the aid of his wings he came crashing from the canopy of the trees to the very forest floor. Crashing to the hard packed clay ground. Letting out a cry of pain as the full weight of his body fell onto his left wing, that was sure by now was broken. As he laid on the ground in his pained state he tried to figure out a rational reason of why this was happening to him. Every time he thought of something it always ended up with him regretting the decision to come down to the mortal plain. What would the higher ups do? Would they care, would they come rescue him? These thoughts and the need to survive were racing through his head at this time. He knew that if he could get free that he could probably out run anyone. He had high levels of stamina since he was used to carrying his full weight when he was in flight, but first he had to get this accursed net off of him. |
As soon as the net hit, Merik found himself grinning broadly. The thump a minute later told him his prize was on the ground. Quickly, Merik rushed forward. Before he even glanced at his prized, he was tying the net with rope. He could take it off back at his house. For now, it was more important that whatever he’d caught couldn’t escape. Finally, emerald eyes viewed the beast, then widened. “Wha-?” Merik leaned over it, the reached down, grabbing the…thing by it’s hair and lifting it easily. “You were singing…that’s good. So…you can speak right? What are you? Hurry up!” Merik demanded, shaking the lightweight thing by his hair. |
Kai continued to lay on the ground trying to figure out what up from down was. He renewed his struggling though when he heard the heavy boots of someone approaching him through the crunching of leaves and twigs. He was about to make his move to escape when he felt the ends of the net being tied together. "There goes that idea," thought Kai as he tried to push his body as far away from the other as possible.
He heard the human mumble something, then he reached forward grabbing him by the hair. Letting out a cry of pain he tried to pry the hands off of his hair. There was enough room for him to move his arms around but not enough to do any form of damage to himself or the human. He felt himself being lifted into the air slightly as orders were being barked at him. As he was in the air, at the mercy of the other man his body began to shake a little in utter fear. His first reaction was to tell him flat out that he was an angel. Then the smarter side of him told him that he shouldn't tell him the truth. He had heard horror stories about unlucky angels that had fallen to Earth that had been taken in by kindly old strangers only to have their magic abused by the people that they had once trusted. There was no way he was going to let that happen to him. "I am an avian," replied Kai hoarsely. Hopefully, the human wouldn't know the difference between him and an angel. He didn't look like he had the knowledge of arcane beings, especially the winged kind. |
”An avian?” Merik’s eyes were narrowed, but a small smirk perched on his lips. He stood the boy up, and ran his hands down the boy’s body, feeling him all over. It became apparent what he was doing once he felt the broken wing. The bonds shifted, freeing the wing, before tightening around the slim frame. “Avian means bird…what kinda bird are ya, then?” He stated, stretching the broken limb out to inspect the damage. The bone hadn’t shattered, but it had snapped. As long as Merik moved him carefully, the wing should heal and his little bird could fly just for him. “Greenhouse…” He muttered. He’d need to get iron bars of some kind installed, but he was very prideful, always trying to keep the animals he’d caught in their natural habitats. “I think you should speak quickly.” He lifted the boy, and slung him over his shoulder, heading back towards the house, the broken wing hanging down next to him. “Are there others like you? Can all of them sing like that?” |
Kai felt his feet land on the hard packed ground as he was looked up and down by the other man. It was making him feel uncomfortable, as if the other was inspecting him like a piece of meat that the other was debating on buying or throwing the trash. He felt the bonds around his hurting wing relax a little bit. He was about to move a little, but stopped when he felt the once loosened binds wrap around his frame again. He winced a little bit as his broken wing was being inspecting, stretched and prodded by the other man. He bit his lip to try and stifle a cry of pain. The question caught him off guard, so clearly the other had bought into his lie. "I am a dove," replied Kai demurely. It wasn't a complete lie. Doves stood for peace, and so did angels. He raised an eye brow when he heard the other mutter something about a tree colored house. Whatever that was.
He let out a yell when he was hoisted into the air and slung over the man's shoulder as he began walking to destination unknown. By this time Kai was scared out of his mind. As he laid there he tried to register what the other had said. "Yes, and I need to get back to them right away. Please, let me go, sir." He figured it probably wouldn't happen, but even knowing that he tried to plead with the other made him feel like he at least attempted something. |
”A dove?” Merik exclaimed, “Oh, goodie, goodie!” The man stopped walking, turning, his hand lifting. He brought it down on the angel’s bottom as hard as he could. His smile only widened. “I had a dragon try to tell me he was a lizard that had gotten into some steroids. Do you think you being a dove is any better? Come on now…truth little bird…” “Let you go?” The tall male only laughed and shook his head. “How could I let a prize like you go? I’ve never seen a person with wings before. Maybe after I find out where your friends are and catch a few of them, I’ll let you go. Unless you’re a superior specimen? In which case, you aren’t going anywhere. I’ll keep you until you die, birdie…” |
The man that was holding him was nuts, that much Kai figured out on his own. What was his goal in this whole thing. Collect rare and magical creatures and display them like living trophies? This man was insane. He cried out in pain and surprise when he felt the human slap him on the bottom. It made him feel like he was a "newborn" angel again. This was ridiculous and oh so embarrassing. His eyes widened and he let out another surprised gasp when he heard the other male speak again. He had seen right through his lie. That meant that he needed to think up another lie. An even better lie. He had to save himself. Save himself from this monster.
As the other continued to speak he felt more and more like a trophy that someone would put on a shelf to admire, but in this case he was going to something called a "green house" whatever that was. Catch some of his other friends? Kai let out a small chuckle. There was no way that he would be able to catch any of the other angels. As he continued to lay there he tried to wriggle his body free when the one that was holding him began talking about specimens and other scientific things. "I need to leave. Let me go right now, and I won't tell the one's in Heaven about you. We can pretend like this never happened!" wailed Kai. He immediately clamped his mouth shut his eyes going wide again. There was no taking back what he said. Hopefully, the human didn't hear what he said. He did say it rather fast after all, and rather jumbled up. |
Merik had continued to mumble to himself, though as soon as the bird began squirming again, he lifted his hand to give the boy another sharp slap. “Heaven, ne?” The hunter’s grin widened and he began whistling. He didn’t stop whistling until they had reached a massive house. A large dog bounded towards Merik, giving out a deep back. It was jet black, and looked somewhat deformed. It’s jaws dripped green liquid, and it’s eyes looked like the orbs held burning flames. Merik paused, using his free hand to pat the dogs head, the moving inside. The angel was brought to a massive basement with various rooms. One room they passed had a huge silver cage with a person staring insanely at the walls, another had a iron cage, and looked to be a large cat. It was growling, then suddenly disappeared, only to reappear on the other side of the cage. Yet another room held a massive reptile that gave a rather pitiful soft roar as Merik passed. The angel, however, was brought into the room at the end of the hall. It looked like a makeshift pharmacy. Merik dropped the angel on a table in the middle of the room, and then locked the door, depositing the key into his pocket. “An angel, then? Do you have a name, or shall I pick one to give you? We are gonna take a look at your wing…but if you try to get away from me, I’ll just break your other one. Do you understand?” The man didn’t wait for an answer, untying the angel quickly. His hands seemed to linger a bit longer than necessary over the boy’s shoulders and hips. |
Kai cried out again as he was hit for the second time. He couldn't believe his stupidity. How could he have blurted out something so important. He was bound to be punished now, and judging from how angels acted to their own kind that committed treason he was as good as dead. He heard the man start to whistle, and ever fiber in his being wanted to whistle or sing as well, but he was also to sad to. He shivered a little bit as a large and rather intimidating black dog came bounding towards the two of them. He squirmed again fearing for his life, but stopped when he noticed that the other male was patting it affectionately on the head. As they continued to walk through the manor home Kai didn't see very much except for the plush carpet of the interior of the floors.
The other man walked down a flight of stairs and into a colder room of what he assumed was the basement. As he passed various cages he could see that there were other magical creatures caged there too. Were they his prisoners as well. He was carried down a hallway and into another room where he was deposited on a cold stainless steel table where he shivered as the damp cold air assaulted him. He heard the sound of the door locking and let out a defeated sigh. Now the man was making fun of him by saying what he was and asking what he was. The other knew darn well that he was an angel. He shivered when he heard the other speak again. He knew what the man was capable of so he hastily said," Kai. My name is Kai." He was about to get off of the table, but froze when he felt the other's hands run down the bones of his wings. The threat still lingering in the air. He could heal himself over time with his regenerative powers, but it would take time. He would be completely useless with two broken wings. Nodding his head he then lowered it as he shuddered a little bit when he noted that the others hands lingered a bit longer on his hips and shoulders. He would play nice for now, but as soon as he was healed he would find a way to get out of here. |
Since the angel was obeying, Merik was as gentle as he could be. Just like the other birds he had taken in, he used a splint for the bone, tying it gently to stay in place. Then, the whole wing was folded and pressed against Kai’s back, and tied there with more bandages. He couldn’t move the wing, but it would help the bone heal correctly. Once the medical care was done, Merik moved to the front of him, placing a hand under the boy’s chin and lifting it, tilting his head back and forth. “You’re pretty enough to be a girl…” Something flashed in Merik’s eyes quickly, lust. He lived in this house alone, with his pets for company. And this tempting treat just fell from the sky. Plus it was something so pure, so innocent. Did this angel even know what intercourse was? It made Merik want to tear him up, violate him and leave the boy broken and crying. The human placed a hand on one of the boy’s thighs. “So you angels come down to earth a lot?” |
Kai sat there too scared to move or do anything that would cause the other male to get angry with him. The wing was splinted and then pressed up against his back where it would heal quicker than if it was free. He was getting really nervous around the other male, and it didn't help when he felt his chin being lifted and turned from the right to the left side as if he was being inspected again. He glared at the other when he heard him refer to him as a girl. Closing his eyes he bit the inside of his cheek so he wouldn't say anything. Had he had his eyes open he would have seen the glint of lust in the other's eyes, but since his eyes were closed he did not.
His eyes widened though when he felt the other place his hand on his thigh. Squirming a little bit he brushed the other's hand away as he drew his legs up closer to his front. Wrapping his arms around his legs he stayed like that trying to make himself as small as possible. Completely ignoring the other's questions he whimpered out,"Please why are you doing this. Let me go." He had his head buried in his arms, but he was near tears. This was all so new to him, and terrifying as well. |
”Answer me, boy!” Merik demanded, lifting his hand back again. The threat was clear. Do as you’re told or be punished. It actually seemed like the human enjoyed it more when the angel disobeyed. “I’ll not ask again, Kai. Do you angels come to Earth often?” Merik’s voice was softer, though it wasn’t nice. If anything, it was more menacing. |
Kai hated being so weak in front of this man. All he wanted to do right now was curl up and die, which was no easy feat for an immortal like himself. His yelling was making it harder and harder for him to breath and he was to the point of hyperventilating now. He glanced up only to block his face with his arms again so he could block the blow that he knew would be coming if he didn't answer. Self preservation spurred this answer out of him," N-no," he stuttered out. "It's o-one of our s-sacred laws. We can't break that." He hoped that the human in front of him would be satisfied with that answer and leave him alone for the time being, but he was probably wishing for something that wouldn't happen.
|
”Really..?” Merik mused, letting his hand drop. He walked around the angel, gently tugging the good wing. “So why are you here? Are they going to come and try to help you?” Merik could picture it-His whole greenhouse filled with the beautiful beings, all fluttering around, some perched, their voices piping up and filling Merik’s ears with bliss. Much more gentle now, the human began ‘petting’ Kai, stroking his hair for a few moments, then his wings, then the boy’s back, only to repeat the process. “What do you eat? Have you been to Earth before this time? Are you all made, or do you reproduce?” It was fascinating…Kai was now Merik’s most precious pet. Even if he captured other angel’s, Merik had a special place in mind for Kai. He’d never allow the boy to leave. His crying only made Merik want to implement his plans that much quicker. |
((Last one for the night. I have wondrous work tomorrow. 9a.m.-2p.m. EST)).
Kai let go of his legs and slid them down towards the floor again since the imminent danger was gone. The human in front of him was so full of questions, and they were making his head buzz with thoughts. " Yes, we are forbidden from interacting with humans. The arc angels believe that interaction with humans can taint our minds, and make our magic impure." He wasn't going to tell the other why he was here. He didn't want to admit that he had gone against the laws, it was obvious anyway that he had, to satisfy the human with his answers. Kai let his eyes slide closed a little bit as he felt the humans hands entangle in his locks of hair. The hands then traveled down his shoulders and his wings, which were very sensitive. He arched forward a little bit as he felt the others hands running the length of his back as he let out a soft moan. What was wrong with him?! How could a human reduce him to mush? "We eat fruits and vegetables. We don't believe in taking away an animals life to satisfy our needs. We also drink a lot of water," he mumbled out through half lidded bliss. He visibly relaxed in the other's arms as he began leaning forward. "No," he whispered. "This is my first time." He heard the other ask about if they were made or if they could reproduce. He honestly really didn't know the question, but he knew that some angels had the ability to become pregnant. So he figured they could re-produce. Besides, the "divine one" created the first arc angels, and then sort of left them to their own devices. Their numbers had grown, and he knew from the text books that the divine one didn't do anything to hinder or help the angelic kind after that. S-so tired," Kai slurred out before leaned back and falling to his side as the last bits of consciousness left his body. The days events had finally taken their tole on his body. He would be at the human's mercy now, a human that he didn't even know the name of. |
(Awww… I understand though. I guess I’ll be off to play Skyrim.) Merik simply grinned as the boy slumped sideways on the table. He had no idea whether his touches had done that, or if they angel was simply exhausted. Either was plausible. After a moment of thought, the human lifted him and carried him through the house. It was rather late. He tied the angel securely to his bed, making sure the leather strips were tight enough to discourage movement, but lose enough to allow circulation. Once he was tied on his stomach, Merik crawled into bed as well, his arms wrapped around the celestial being gently. |
After Kai had passed out he had stayed in his lucid dreams well into the night and the early morning. His dreams were completely jumbled up with one another. First, he was having dreams about flying through heaven, then dreams about war, there was just no telling up from down. Then there were only dreams, memories really, about how he had been captured by this human. This nameless human that had so much power over him in one movement. One movement that had changed his life completely.
One of the dreams actually managed to make him cry out, and it also brought him back to reality. As he cracked his eyes open he could tell that he was on something soft. A bed perhaps. Kai's eyes widened. Why was he here, and no caged like the other magical creatures that he had seen? Why was he being treated like this. He was musing in his thoughts that he was unaware that he was actually tied down to the bed until he tried to move his arm or try to get a leg free. "Why am I tethered here like some kind of an animal?!" thought Kai as he pulled and tested the bonds. He then surveyed the rest of his body. Other than the sporting wing that he had everything seemed to be fine and not out of place. He then felt someone's hands around his waist. Gasping out loud he tried to push and pull his body so that the hands were off of him, but as of right now he was trapped in a vice like grip. |
”Stop moving…” Merik muttered softly. The struggling angel had drug him from his own dream, one that he’d rather liked. “Unless you’d like me to continue my dream to you, little boy…” He yawned a bit, then began petting the angel again, stroking the wings. “It’s not time to get up yet…go back to sleep…” |
Kai immediately stopped moving when he heard the other's voice. He knew that there was an underlining meaning to what the other was saying, however, he was so ignorant to the ways of human speech that he figured that he was just imaging things. N-no," muttered Kai as he let out a small huff as he continued to lay still. He let his eyes slide closed, but then he moaned out a little bit when he felt the other begin to stroke his wings. His wings were very sensitive, especially the newly splinted broken one. He ruffled them a little bit. He knew that his angelic powers would lend him the ability to be able to heal faster. Then he was getting the hell out of this place, and he would never look back. He didn't hear the other say that it wasn't time to get up yet since he was in a state of complete and total relaxation from his wings being massaged. Through half lidded eyes he fell into a sated sleep.
|
Even in his sleepy state, Merik felt the other boy relax, and felt how his wings puffed slightly. When birds did that, it meant they enjoyed what was happening, whether it was music, a treat, or being stroked. Merik continued to do it until long after the angel had fallen asleep, and finally drifted off on his own. ~<3~ Merik woke early, as usual. He made a few calls from his phone, before cooking himself a bit of food. He fed him other animals first, then made a bowl of fruit for Kai when he woke. Currently, the bowl of fruit sat on his nightstand, and he was reading on his laptop. He hadn’t found much true about angels yet, but hopefully he could learn straight from the being next to him. |
Kai ended up back in his dreaming state where he was flying through the air. He was free again, not tethered to a human. Not kept and chained to someone's bed. Whimpering out in his sleep he quietly whispered," Gabriel, please come and find me. Rescue me." Kai continued to dream, but then it abruptly ended when he smelled the fresh scent of fruit permeating throughout the room. Cracking his eyes open he glanced at his wrist and right ankle. He still had the leather binds around them. Pulling on one of them he winced as the chain that reinforced the leather bit into his soft flesh. Letting out a huff he rolled over to glance over at the other man. The other was looming at some kind of screen. He assumed it was some kind of mechanical device, but he didn't know what the purpose was of it.
"What are you doing?" mumbled Kai as he got into a sitting position. He then leaned over towards the nightstand as he held the bowl of fruit in front of him. He knew that he should eat to regain his strength and help his regenerative abilities, but then he wondered if the other had placed something in it to make him more "compliant." He had heard and seen what could happen to angels that had strayed too far from Heaven. Placing the bowl back on the table he rolled back over with his back to the other. |
”Trying to find information on you. And trying to find a way to use you to get the others to come to me…” Merik sighed, closing the laptop. He viewed his prize for a moment, then started stroking the boy’s wings again. “Why aren’t you eating, Kai? If you don’t eat, I’ll need to force you to…Do you want that?” |
It was admirable, in an odd way that the other was trying to find out information about him. Whatever he was using couldn't possibly find information about them. Angels, if ever, never came down to Earth. They were forbidden for a reason, and ones that did were punished severely. Or worse yet banished. Kai snickered quietly as he heard the rest of it. "They won't come for me, and you know that," he said sullenly. "I am good as dead here." He shuddered a little bit as he felt the other begin stroking his wings again. He fluttered them again, this time in agitation as he flapped them lightly in the air. The realization came flooding over him like cold ice. They weren't going to be coming for him. He was going to be left here to die. He was immortal, but in the human realm he was as human as the other. He didn't have the ability to be immortal when he was down here, but he had his other powers.
He got into a sitting position, or at least the best one that he could as he stared hard at the nearby wall. If he had the power to burn holes through things with his eyes that wall would have burst into flames long ago. Since he wasn't immortal he would be plagued by things like thirst and hunger, and that he knew. However, he wasn't going to give the other the satisfaction of watching him roll over and listen to the other's every word and order. |
