Private RP for 0ri0n83: and I, but feel free to read along.

Name:Garrick
Age:22

((Just without the silver things))

Bio:Grew up with a rather unusual background, both his parents were interested in the magical arts. He learned this along with all the regular things one did in school, and now that he's out on his own he has decided to branch out from what he knows.

Garrick mumbled to himself as he drew the circle. Quietly reciting the binding spells over and over to himself. He would not fail, would not give anyone the chance to put him down and think that they were better then him. No, of course not. The mage stood far and above all the rest. Glancing around his well kept living room then down to the white chalk circle he'd so painstakingly drawn, he smirked.

Today was the beginning of a new stage for him. Let the others be bound by the rules, he would summon a demon to help him understand how to raise the dead. Quickly moving to close the heavy drapes to bar his apartment from sight, Garrick set to work with glee in his silvery eyes.

Smooth words left his lips as power built within his lithe frame. In a few moments it surged forward with all the dark haired man's commanding will behind it. Or so he hoped as he waited to see the being he had managed to summon with a satisfied smile upon his lips.

((For some odd reason it won't allow me to look at the picture))

Name: Katon
Age:21
Appearance:
Bio: Katon is a the general of the army of the fallen. He was hand chosen by the Dark lord himself to build himself an army of other demons and even dead people that have been sent to hell because of something that they had done when they were living on the mortal plane. He has very little remorse, and is rather cruel even to people that he would consider his friends.

Katon opened his eyes as he looked around. He was the general of the army of the fallen. He was a demon to be feared. No one was to question him, so why was it now that someone decided to challenge him. Letting out a sigh of utter frustration he looked at the small demon in front of him. The other wasn't imposing at all, but still seemed to have the air of authority about him. "So what do you suggest that I do?" Katon said as he glared at the other. The other, even though imposing, stammered in front of him. Letting out a frustrated yell Katon stood up as h bellowed out,"Get this weakling out of my sight! Now!" Two armed guards appeared and carried the sniveling excuse of a demon away. Once it was quiet again he glanced at his adviser's expression. They immediately looked down at the ground, and began shuffling around. Sitting back in his chair he glanced at the other's in the room just willing the others to challenge him.

As the day drew to a close he made his way out of the counselor chambers and towards his own room. Once he was in his own room he let his guard down a little bit. He took a quick shower and got re-dressed. Sitting on his bed he thought that he heard some kind of chanting. It was faint, but as the time went on it got louder and louder. Suddenly it was if the sound of the chanting completely surrounded him making it almost deafening. Then there was a sudden flash of light, and he then felt himself falling forward. Landing hard on the ground the last thought he had was that he was in a lot of pain before he passed out.

((Can you see the pic now?))

The flash of light was less startling then the being laying upon the ground before him on the hardwood floor. Raising an eyebrow, Garrick crouched down to look at the other man with curiosity. He didn't look so threatening as that, but he could feel the sheer power emanating from him. Satisfied with his catch, the young man quickly began reciting the spells which would bind the other to him. Of course, in his excitement he forgot a few very important elements. A mistake that would in all probability come to haunt the ambitious mage. It wasn't hard to tell that this woudl be soon, since Garrick foolishly broke the circle to move forward and tangle his hand in the other's hair in fascination.

So soft, silky and smooth ... What a deceptively beautiful creature had appeared into the mortal world. But this was not why Garrick had called him. Letting out a breath, he moved to gather a notebook and pen before returning to the broken circle to sit beside his catch. All he wanted was information, nothing more and nothing less. It wasn't like the demon would be stuck in the mortal realms forever.

((Yes, that I can))

His first sensation he felt was that someone was tugging on his long locks of azure colored hair. Wincing a little bit he tried to shake the hand off of him, but the other had let go of his hair before he had a chance to do anything. He heard some shuffling around him, and heard something that was slightly attune to a binding spell. He heard some more shuffling and then the sound of paper. As he continued to lay there he heard the other muttering more incantations and he inwardly smirked. He could tell the other was trying to do a binding spell, but apparently the other had left out some key things. The spell would be incomplete. He would be bound to the other yes, but he had the ability to leave for up to 24 hour increments. At least for that he was thankful.

Groaning a little bit he surveyed his arms and legs. They were sore, but he knew that nothing was broken. Pushing himself up with his arms he looked around the room that he was in. He was in some small square room. A small room with various things painted on the walls. Ancient languages, that had he not been a demon, he would not have understood. He decided to not let his wings materialize, since he was pretty sure that the other already knew that he was a demon. He figured that until he knew more about his surrounds, and who this person was in front of him, he would play coy. Blinking a few times he looked at the other as he tilted his head as he said,"Where am I?"

He'd already begun to write down notes, simply fascinated by this particular summoning and it's results. Never before had someone so human looking materialized from the lower realms. At least, not so for Garrick. It made his pride swell, and his mind wander to how he could gain more skill and power in order to do as he wished. Others would finally fear him, instead of mocking him and pushing him away. The dim light of the room didn't bother the young man as he wrote, and only the sound of the demon's voice woke him from his half trance.

Thoughts of revenge flew from his mind. "The mortal world. I've summoned you to help me learn how to raise the dead." Failing that, there was of course the option of learning more about the demonic realms and it's people. Perhaps he could even practice summoning others like this man. It seemed to Garrick that perhaps he was no run of the mill demon. Suddenly finding a need to needle the demon he'd captured a little, if only to see his reaction, Garrick grinned. "Enjoy your fall? It probably won't be the last time something like that happens." The dark haired man found himself relishing the thought. A demon bound, what could he do with him? There were so many possibilities.

((God, I am so sorry. I've been trying to do the RP's of the people that were offline, so every time I refreshed the page there wouldn't be more.))

Katon let out an exasperated sigh. He wondered if the other was ever going to acknowledge that he had heard him. Apparently the human had heard him. He listened to what the other had said. He had already known what he was going to hear anyway, but right now he would play the docile, ignorant person. He chuckled a little bit when he heard that the other thought that he was going to help the other. Then again he could give him the ability to summon a hellhound or some other vile creature of hell. The thing would devour him, and then he would be free of the other. He bristled a little bit when he heard the other ask him if he had enjoyed his fall. He wanted to stand up then and there, summon what powers he had, and torch the little human in front of him. However, he was also very patient as well. He would bide his time.

Pushing himself off of the hard concrete he got into a sitting position as he looked around the room again to get a better view of it. The room was rather plane, the color of the walls were gray, the floor was gray and even the ceiling was guess what gray. Upon closer inspection he could tell that the papers that littered the wall were indeed an archaic language. They were incantations for very advanced spells. How was it that a mere human was able to do these kinds of things, let alone comprehend what he was doing. The human was getting more and more intriguing by the minute. Maybe, just maybe, he would stay here for a little while, and figure out more about this would be mortal that had powers that could rival that of angels. Rival angels. Katon liked that idea, maybe the two of them could strike up some kind of deal to overthrow heaven, but then again he was getting ahead of himself. Breaking the silence he said,"and what makes you think that I am willing to help you." He was about to tell the other that he had done the binding spell wrong, but decided that he would wait until he knew more about the mortal realm and this boy. "So what is your name, boy. Speak up."

((Didn't work all that well I take it? ))

Laughing wryly, Garrick shook his head slightly as he regarded his reluctant companion. Still thinking that he had all in control the young man was relaxed and comfortable in his sitting position beside the demon. Absentmindedly he noted that he would have to take down all his notes from the wall soon, before the landlord came to make an impromptu inspection of the apartment. This was after all a modern city, where tales of magic were dismissed as nothing more then myth and crazy speculation. "The faster you help me, the quicker your release," stated Garrick simply with a cheeky grin for his demon guest.

As for his name, well there was no need for his companion to know all of it. "Garrick, and you are?" Expectantly he turned to face the violet haired man. Slouching forward a little, he rubbed absentmindedly at the remains of his painstakingly created chalk circle. So many symbols it had taken to create such a thing! All gone now, or useless. The prize though, had been worth it. Garrick wasn't even sure if he wanted to free the demon once he'd learned what he wanted. That remained to be seen, though he had stated otherwise.

((heh...not really. For some reason I noticed that the people on here are super fast typers, and every time that I need 'alone time' to type people have this uncanny ability to always want me to do things)).

This human in front of him was beginning to annoy him to a fault. However, he also knew that he would need to "play nice" with the other. The more and more Katon thought of the human in front of him. The more and more the idea of helping the other summon a hell hound was looking like an option. When he heard what the other said he grimaced. This human not only had the ability to summon demons and whatever other things that he wanted, but he was an arrogant son of a gun as well. Gritting his teeth he knew that this would push his patience to their utmost limit. He retorted before he could really think about what he was saying as he said,"And what makes you think that a human can command me." He knew that he was beginning to tread in dangerous waters. He had heard the binding spell, but he didn't know what other things the human was capable of.

He was glad though, just a little, that the human no that Garrick had said his name. At least he could try to establish some kind of trust with Garrick. It would make things go more smoothly. Getting to his feet he stretched a little bit as wobbled a little bit. "I suppose I can give you my name," replied Katon as he crossed his arms across his chest. "My name is Katon, and as you can see I am a demon from what you humans call Hell." He didn't know how impressed the other would be. Maybe it wasn't the intention of the human to summon him at all, maybe it was some kind of mistake. Had it been a mistake though it would be one that Garrick would soon be regretting, Katon would make sure of that. As he was about to say something else his stomach growled loudly. "What the," thought Katon as he held his stomach. Then he remembered in the realm of mortals he was as mortal as the rest of them. Once he went through the barrier he had lost his demonic immortality, but he was able to use his powers. As of right now he was no better than Garrick. In fact Garrick could be stronger than him, and that was something that Katon didn't like.

It was time to play, at least a little. The demon was obviously angry with him, making Garrick smile wickedly at the other man. After Katon had stood, he followed suit only to find out that he had to look up slightly to meet the demon's eyes. Finding this out dampened Garrick's mood slightly, though soon enough he was grinning again at the thought of what he wanted to do. Reaching out he tangled his hands in Katon's hair and tilted his head slightly to capture the other's lips with his own. Garrick surprised himself with how much he enjoyed the sensation, but pulled back reluctantly after a few moments.

Regaining his composure quickly enough, he smirked. "You'll see soon enough, in the mean time let's get you some food. I wouldn't want my ... guest, to starve." Moving away to the kitchen, Garrick plucked out a few pieces of pizza from his supper the night before and stuck them onto a plate then into the microwave. It took a few minutes, but far shorter a time then it would have otherwise. Bringing the food with him, he went into the living room once more and put the plate onto a sturdy old table near Katon. Then Garrick went to work taking down his notes and putting them away with great care.

((Probably because most people who RP do so a lot, and end up typing faster because of that.))

When the other stood in front of him he could tell the at the other male was at least a good head shorter than he was. This was rather amusing, but it was quickly squashed when he saw the other reach forward. He almost was away from the other, but was unable to pull away when the other brought him into a rather sloppy, if not forced, kiss. The kiss lasted only mere seconds, but to Katon it felt like an eternity. His emotions were running rampant through his mind, as his heartbeat began to pick up. Whoever said that demon's didn't have hearts was just a flat out liar, not to mention demon's had the ability to blush as well. That was exactly what Katon was doing, and he was thankful that the kiss broke. Turning his head away from the other he looked down at the ground as his stomach growled again, this time a bit louder. He blushed a deeper red. He was truly at the mercy of Garrick right now, and with the boy acting the way that he was, he knew that it would be hard to curb his anger.

He was thankful when the other said that he would feed him. At least Garrick was a hospitable caretaker. Following the other man into what he assumed was the kitchen he saw a stove, and other various contraptions that were rather foreign to him. Back at the palace he had no need to know what these things were, he had servants for that. He watched as Garrick went rummaging through the fridge and brought out some strange looking triangles with various things on them. Tilting his head to the side he watched as he slid it into another contraption. There were a few beeping sounds and then the machine came to life. Within seconds the room smelled of baked bread, tomatoes, and other various things. Katon could hear his stomach growl again this time even louder. As he got a whiff of whatever was being made in the contraption his mouth began to water. When the chime went off Katon went to go and sit at the table that was in the middle of the room.

The plate was set before him to which he grabbed a piece and began to eat it quickly. "Ouch!" he yelled out in surprise. The food had been rather hot, but since it was already in his mouth he had to swallow it. Putting the pizza back down on the plate he looked at it as if it were about to grow horns and wings and fly away. He would wait for it to cool down before he attempted to eat it again.

The rustling of paper being carefully plucked from grey colored walls were the only sounds in the apartment until Katon's exclamation. Putting aside the yellowed pages of research carefully atop the pile he'd been creating, Garrick moved from the living room into the kitchen. A grin slipped across his face when he saw the way his guest was looking at the pizza. It had completely slipped his mind that his world might be a complete mystery for Katon. Shaking his head with a chuckle, Garrick went to grab a glass from one of the cupboards and placed it in front of his guest before sitting down as well.

"Haven't you ever had pizza before?" Thinking back to his earlier realization, he leaned an elbow against the tabletop. "I suppose there are a lot of things here that you haven't seen before. Maybe we could help each other out. Teach me about your world, and I'll teach you about mine." Garrick tried to remember the last time he'd actually thought of this mortal world as his. It had been quite a while ago when he'd thought he had friends. Those days were over for so many reasons though, and he preferred not to think about it over much.

Even so, the young man was pretty sure he knew more about the mortal world then a demon. At least, he hoped so. Shoving the doubtful thoughts from his mind, Garrick reminded himself that he was better then everyone else in the human world who had not an ounce of magical ability. He could summon demons, fly trough the sky, speak with dragons and control the elements! What did those others have? Jobs, and a boring humdrum life, that was what. Deep down inside, beneath the constructed walls of arrogance, there was a sea of self-doubt that Garrick did everything he could to hide, even from himself.

Katon glanced at the other wanting to eat more of whatever the delicious food was, but fearing that he would get burned again. What had the other used to make it so hot. Maybe it was some sort of magical thing. He blinked a few times when he heard the other ask him if he had ever had pizza before. "Pizza, what's that?" thought Katon as he stared at the plate. "Oh that must be pizza. What else would he be talking about?" "It was good, but it was hot," replied Katon as he picked the piece up again, only to find it still hot. Placing it back on the table he huffed a little bit and threw a small pity party for himself in his mind. He, the general of the fallen army, reduced to being some needy person. Needing the help of a mortal no less. If the other demon's could see him now. Scratch that, he didn't want the other's to see him like this. He would be living an eternity with their jokes and ridicule. He listened to what the other had said about helping one another. He nodded at this. If he was going to be stuck here, he might as well learn more about the realm that he was in. Not to mention if he ever did make it back to hell he would have that more of an advantage when he helped conquer and occupy it. "Very well," said Katon as he tried again with the pizza. This time it was a lot cooler to the touch. He took another bite of it, and relished the taste of it since it was cooler. Maybe this relationship wasn't going to be so bad after all.

Slipping away from every unwanted though he'd ever had, Garrick lifted his eyes and grinned at Katon. A distraction was exactly what he needed. "Is there anything you'd like to know? I'm willing to answer any and all questions you might have." The dark haired man looked down at the table for a few moments. A frown flitted across his features as Garrick debated with himself about whether or not he wanted to open himself up to his guest. Inviting Katon to ask questions about himself was a frightening idea to someone who'd never truly had another to talk to.

For some reason Garrick had been plagued by loneliness during the past few months spent buried in his apartment under piles of research. Perhaps his unwilling guest could be a way to ease the feeling. "Including any you might have about me," added Garrick almost reluctantly.

Taking another bite of his pizza he eyed the clear glass that was set before him. He figured it was probably like the golden and silver goblets that they had in Hell. Concentrating a little bit he waved his hand over it, and it soon began filling itself up with clear, crisp water. Nodding to himself he was glad that he was able to still conjure water in the mortal realm, which brought on another question of what else he could do power wise in the mortal world. Katon noticed that the other was remarkably quiet so he was glad when the other broke the silence. Katon was full of questions so he didn't really need an invitation to start asking, but it was always nice. Taking a drink from his willed cup of water he looked at the other as he said," Well I already know your name. I guess how old are you, what city are we in, and what is the year?" He figured that he would start off with some easier questions, and then go to the more heavier questions after he established a level of trust.

Lifting his head to watch Katon wearily, Garrick was almost disappointed with the easy questions he'd asked. "I'm 22 years old, and right now we're in New York, a state in the United states. As for the year, it's 2012." The year when the mayans had predicted the end of the world. That prophecy, there were so many ways to interpret it that Garrick wasn't really worried about how things might play out. So what if there was supposed to be an apocalypse? He was almost looking forward to whatever might come. It would give him an excuse to stop hiding his magic from regular humans, and terrorize them to make them pay.

Letting out an angry huff, Garrick lifted his grey eyes to Katon. "What about you, how old are you? And, what kinds of things did you do?" Would he be missed? If something like this would have happened to Garrick, no one would have cared. Perhaps his parents, but they were probably off exploring some lost magical civilization.

Just from the other's body language he saw that he had probably asked some pretty obvious questions. What was the other expecting to ask. His deep, dark brooding past? He was interested, but he wasn't nosy. Then again, the other did say that he could ask about anything. He listened to what Garrick was saying, and had to smile when he heard what year it was. "Ah, 2012,"thought Katon as he leaned back in the wooden chair he was in. "The year of the end of the world. A bunch of drivel more like it, but whatever got people through their days it didn't matter much to him. He also knew where the United States was as well. One of the more wealthier countries on the mortal plain. At least he didn't end up in some backwater place in the middle of a cornfield. He was in the heart of all of it, New York.

Clearing his throat a little after the other finished he glanced at the other as a smirk played on his features. Where would he begin. "Well I am 200 in demon years, but I became one when I was 21." He cared not to recount what had happened to him to make him a demon. He wasn't born a demon, he was born human. However, his father was a rather ruthless man. A man that would do anything to gain more power and more money. Even sell his own son's soul to the devil. "What do I do? Haha, what don't I do? replied Katon as he gave Garrick a wiry smile. "Well I guess you could say I am a battle master. I train soldiers to fight. Sort of I don't know like what a General would do here for his army." He didn't really like talking about himself because it always reminded him of his predicament, which reminded him of his cur of a father. "Let's talk about something else. How about how did you get involved in magic. Last time I checked that was a rather rare skill, even back in the dark ages."

Katon's answers only brought more questions to Garrick's mind. As tempted as he was to press upon the matter, the dark haired man didn't want to aggravate his guest. Instead he leaned back against his metal chair with a small smile. Magic was a favorite subject for Garrick. He could talk about it for hours without even realizing how much time had passed. Though it would be different, because he had to tell this demon how he'd come by his own abilities. Usually Garrick would have been reluctant to do so, but for some reason he was actually looking forward to the experience.

"I was born into a family of witches and wizards, so I've grown up with magic. After a while I got tired of being told that I needed to follow the rules ... It's gotten me into trouble a few times, but I'd much rather do what I want then to listen to what others decide for me." That was actually one of the reasons why he was in the present situation. Not to mention the fact that he might have angered a demon or two previously, which didn't bode well for things this third time around. Katon was his last chance for learning about the demon world, and maybe surviving the dangers he was sure were coming from there. Learning to summon the dead seemed like such a trivial thing now that he actually remembered about the death treats some of his previous guests had uttered upon their departure.

((Alright, do you mind if I set it up so that latter on in the RP assassins and such can make an appearance to take down Garrick because he got the wrong people angry?))

Katon nodded his head as he listened to the other's tale. He figured, even before he had heard the other, that he was probably from a wizarding family. Magic, since it was a dying art, was kept rather quiet and on the outskirts of the public eye. "I see," said Katon as he leaned a little back in his chair. "What is the last name of your family?" He knew of a few of them. The Luminaires, Faires family, and the ever hidden McCluric family. Those were the oldest ones that he could name or think of off of the top of his head. He had originally trained under a McCluric elder, way back in the past. They were becoming rather scarce even though their magic was rather powerful since to keep the bloodline pure they had married into the different branches of the family.

So he had a trouble maker on his hands. Maybe the other would be interesting and entertaining as well. In fact he knew that the other was. Judging from what he was told thus far he figured that there were some demons that might have a bone to pick with the other male. He smirked at the thought of if he would have to be ordered to protect the other, and he wondered if by that time he would be able to break the bonds that kept him on the mortal plain. A car honked outside which jolted him a little out of his seat. "What's that," he muttered to himself as he looked around. The last time that he had come to Earth they were still driving horse and carriages. Standing up suddenly he glanced at the other as he smiled giving the other his best "puppy dog" look. "Can we go outside?" He didn't know how much he was bound to the other through Garrick's magic, but he figured that he would at least play the part for now.

Giving Katon his full name was a very dangerous thing to do. An internal battle waged within Garrick as he watched his guest carefully. Such power, and to give it to a demon, over him his name would grant. Still, he had a middle name so perhaps it would be alright. Leaning forward Garrick let his eyes rove over Katon for a few moments. The silence weighed down upon the wizard, the magic user, as he realized how long it had truly been since he'd had a real conversation with anyone. In fact, it had been even longer then that since he'd let another even know his last name. "The Drimes."Trust was such a difficult thing to give to others, even in such a tiny measure as this.

Standing along with Katon, he looked the other man over speculatively and took the chance to move closer. With a playful grin, Garrick moved to unclasp Katon's cloak and put it aside atop the back of one of the nearby chairs. "You can't go out dressed the way you are. You'll stick out like a sore thumb." Lifting a hand to Katon's amethyst colored hair, Garrick frowned lightly for a few moments while he debated whether or not to find a way to hide the strangely colored locks. With a start he realized that he'd lapsed into silence while running his hand trough the silky hair.

"I can scrounge out some clothing that might fit you, or ... If you told me what kind of clothes you like, I could go and get it for you Katon." He lived in an apartment not too far from Broadway, and quite close to the chinese district. It was the cheapest thing he was able to find. So his little quest would involve driving, something Garrick hated with a passion in the over crowded and far too busy streets of New York.

((Yay for Google Maps, lol, I spent like half an hour trying to find apartments after clicking Broadway ... I got lot in the Chinese section. >>))

((Lol, awesome. I am glad that I am not the only one that does a little bit of research before posting, especially wish distances and locations

Nice wardrobe change by the way ^^))

Katon's eyes widened a little bit when he heard what the other had said. He had heard of the Drimes before. He, personally, did not know a lot about them, but he had heard many whispers within the walls of the main palace. The people of the Drime's family were not to be trifled with. Even among the elite there were whispers of the infamous Drime's family, and they were never brought up in polite conversation. From what Katon could gather the Drimes, at one point or another, were demon slayers. Enemies indeed. Now knowing this Katon needed to get out of this situation all the faster, however, he was still intrigued with the other male in front of him, and especially with the current human world around him. What could it hurt to stay a little longer with the other?

He watched the other break out into a smile, and he knew that it might not have been a good one. He took a half step back, but then stopped when he felt the clasp of his cloak being undone and then his cloak being removed. He listened to what the other said. It was true, he would have stood out like a sore thumb. He was clothed fine in the demonic realm, but this wasn't the demonic realm now was it? He found himself stiffening when he felt the other entwine his fingers within his hair. He was a rather vain demon, even by demon terms. His hair was his one pride and joy other than his black, red tinged wings. "I suppose you're right," huffed Katon as he pulled away a little bit from the other. Garrick had spent too long running his hands through his hair. Enough was enough.

He heard the other say that he could scrounge around for clothing for him. He grimaced at that. That would mean that the other would need to leave the premises, and he would be chained to this place until his "master" came back. "That's alright," said Katon as he moved away from the other. He knew that he would be able to control his magic in the demonic world, but he wasn't so sure what would happen in the mortal world. "You might want to stand back a little bit," said Katon as he let his eyes slide closed. As he concentrated he tried to imagine that he had clothes that would make him fit in. It brought memories of when he used to spy on the mortals while looking in the waters of the reflecting pool. As he opened his eyes he was dressed in clothes that fit the time period. "So how do I look?" asked Katon as he smiled at the other. He figured that it worked, but he wouldn't know until Garrick said something.

((I was rather curious, so I though why not? And thanks, lol, just some of the few things I have in my invo at the moment.))

It was with a rather disappointed expression that Garrick watched Katon back away from him. Oh yes, he was definitely attracted to him. That was something he hadn't expected though it was quite welcome. Still, even if he acted like he knew exactly what he was doing around the other man Garrick was beset by worry and self-doubt beneath the cool, playful, facade. It wouldn't do to let Katon know about this weakness. That could lead to disaster in so many ways!

Glancing up once the demon had spoken, the dark haired man backed away reluctantly and watched. The way the other's clothing blurred and changed made his silver eyes widen in wonder. Partly because of the magic, but mostly because of the way the other man looked. Well, amended Garrick to himself, it was difficult for Katon not to look good in something. That was how Garrick found himself moving to stand in front of the demon with a mischievous smile, though his self doubt reared it's unwanted head. The last time he'd kissed Katon not too long ago hadn't brought the results he'd wanted.

Garrick could only hope it would be different this time as he gripped the other man's shirt tightly to pull him closer. Lifting his lips to Katon's, he pressed them almost hesitantly against the other's. He was actually afraid. Memories flashed trough Garrick's mind of all the times he'd actually tried to be someone's friend, or tried to tell them how much he wanted to be so much more. It had always ended badly because of his family's reputation or because of his own less then agreeable personality.

Katon had to admit the other male in front of him was adorable. With the way that Garrick looked at him with his mouth semi-wide open just made him want to kiss him. However, there was a time and place for everything. He could just imagine what Garrick was seeing through his eyes. He had to admit though he probably looked good in whatever he wore. In the Demon Realm he was the most sought after bachelor that there was. Whether by his status or his good looks it did not matter much to him. Looks were looks, and looks got you what you wanted.

He was taken aback when the other tugged him forward by his shirt. "What's he doing?" thought Katon as he felt his heartbeat pick up a little bit. His cheeks also became a little flushed as well. He felt the other's lips against his own. Sure, he was no stranger to kisses, even though demon's weren't known to show affection. They showed more on the lines of carnal lust. However, the tentativeness of the other's kiss just wanted Katon to kiss the other back, and that was just what he did. Leaning into the kiss he took his right hand and placed it behind the other's head and pushed forward as he tilted up to deepen the kiss. He could tell by this point that the other male had emotions for him, possibly even love. However, Katon couldn't understand, at least not right now, why the other was so willing to show him his emotions. They had just met for God's sake. Human emotions were complex.

Breaking the kiss after what he had assumed was about 10 to 20 seconds he looked at the other and smiled his most devilish, no pun intended, smile as he said,"So did you enjoy that?"

A shocked sound escaped Garrick's lips. He had expected anything but this. It sent his mind into a frenzy as he tried to savor every second. After all, it wasn't everyday that the person he felt himself so irresistibly attracted to actually returned his kiss. Usually it was quite the opposite, which did nothing to help Garrick's self esteem rise. Letting his mind rest for a few moments, he sank into the kiss.

When Katon pulled back with that grin upon his face, it made Garrick feel embarrassed for the way he'd been acting. He must have seemed like such an arrogant fool, and even more of one now for so openly showing his attraction towards the other. They'd know each other for an hour, two at best, and this was the way he acted? "Immensely, though ..." Shaking away his uncertainty, Garrick grinned up at Katon. Cheeks flushing pink, he backed away from the other man and walked briskly towards the door. Looking back over his shoulder he shrugged slightly. "Anyway you did say you wanted to go outside, so let's go." It was an obvious change of subject, a cover up. Garrick really didn't want to bring up his behavior, in fact it was the last thing he wanted to think about.

Katon almost burst out laughing when he saw the look on the other's face, for the second time that day. The other was more innocent than he had originally thought. He could tell that the other had kissed before, but probably very few people. Once the kiss was over the other was quick to change the subject. Letting it slide Katon nodded as he walked towards the door that he assume would lead out. He would have much preferred to fly, but he was sure that if his clothes would make him stick out like a sore thumb then a person flying through the air was probably not going to be so good either. "Sure," said Katon with another smile. "Lead the way. You're the native here not me. I haven't been to Earth in over 200 years. I want to see how the world has changed." "and how greedy people are," he mentally added to himself.

It was true that he was a demon, but he was also a more "honorable" demon. He didn't believe in killing for sport, and he also believed in killing the truly damned and wicked people. He was a black sheep among demons so to say, so it was a rather large miracle that he ended up in the higher ranks of the demonic royal court as the general of the army. Thinking about that he figured that there would probably be other demons looking for him right now, but he could take care of himself. He often went off alone on his own, and would be gone for weeks at a time. However, this time he had gone without his own consent and he was in the mortal realm and not the demonic one.

((Seegra? I thought it was Katon, lol.))

Turning away from the taller man, Garrick stepped out of the apartment with a casual air of nonchalance. Nervous or not it was certainly going to be interesting to see how Katon reacted to this strange new world. Flashing lights, crowds of people walking on the sidewalk and a constant stream of cars flying across the road, it was all there for the demon to see. Something told Garrick that he'd not set a foot outside the demonic realm since he'd first begun to live there.

This was going to be fun! "Well what are you waiting for, come on." Even his world seemed transformed now, or at least Garrick looked at it differently. The grass seemed the greener, the sun brighter ... What was it about this situation that made everything seem so different? Garrick forced himself to shove the thoughts from his mind as he slipped his hands into his jean pockets. They'd walked trough the apartment building so fast that it was almost a shock to be outside being stared at by passers by.
