Age 21 Personality Kind, Gentle, Determined, energetic, optimistic & pessimistic. Easy to get along with, but, easy to become enemies with. Tomboyish sometimes. Ange protects anyone and anything she can, if anyone besides herself gets hurt and she knows them, she will get quite defensive and go very far to get the justice. Childish as times because she loves cartoons and everything else to go with it. Sometimes her dreams over take her and she thinks being a superhero can be real. Gender Female Dream To be A Superhero and save others (and to fly) Power(s) Flying, breathing under water, and Energy (Electricity) Looks http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs46/i/20...by_Wat3rki.jpg (she is German/Irish/french(tad bit)) --------- Mother - Sarah Kalascibetta (38 yrs) German/Irish Father - Nike Kalascibetta (49 yrs) Italian/Irish 1st Brother - Vames (19 yrs) Irish/German 2d Brother - SJ (16 yrs) Irish/German 3rd Brother (with blonde hair) - Junior (3 yrs) Irish/German/Italian --------- "Angela, are you going to do these dishes or not?!" Nike, her father yelled, well actually he was her step-father for the past almost eight years of her life. Now before the marriage, Angela never thought it was a bad thing for her mother to get married, she wasn't so happy about it, but, she did respect her mother's wishes and wanted her to be happy. So she kept quiet about it and kept to herself. Throughout her middle and high school life, she had spent seven years at Hazelwood West High School, and finally after promising her family she would graduate, she did. However, she has a lack of experience with real and actual jobs, so no one really wants to hire someone they think has no experience. Yet, she has more than most would think she would have, even from a first glance. most would think she is also younger than what she is because of her looks. "Angela, did you hear me!?" Nike called for his step daughter again "Yes, I heard you, geesh" Angela aka Ange, her favorite nickname, replied back with an annoyed tone. "Can't you just give me a minute, I was about to go out, I told you guys last week I needed a break" Ange always watched over her three year old brother, Junior, yes, her parents named him Junior. She didn't know why and she really didn't care at this moment. "You're not going anywhere until you do these dishes" Nike complained as he watched her cross her arms, she had her beige purse with her, it was almost like a side bag. "No, it's only two glasses, I am not doing that" "You are going to do that or you can just leave! You don't work, you don't go to school, and you just sit on that computer doing nothing" "I do not, I do laundry, clean up the house, help with the yard work, babysit, do dishes, AND keep my room clean" Apparently Nike (Ni-key) didn't see it that way. "No you don't" Nike responded sneering"You know what, Eff you, I'll leave" and with that she turned around rushing out of the door knowing she might not see her family again as she went to the back gate to grab her bike and lifted it over the fence. She had a helmet with her, luckily she planned on using her bike today, and it helped to be prepared as she put it on and went up to Walgreen on her bike to get a few things for her trip. She planned never to come back home until she could prove she didn't need them anymore. Nike never helped her with her college, never helped her with finding a job, and the one time she got an interview. He complained and complained. She even found an online college to do, but, it was troublesome because he wouldn't ever see it through. Now she knew all step-dad's were alike when changes occurred. 'Here we go'she thought to herself trying to calm her breathing, her bike lock was always under her bike seat, so where she went and the bike, the lock did too. She locked it up and walked inside, she was already sore from the bike ride up the hill and wouldn't be able to make it too much farther. She went inside to get a few things, G2 was on sale and so was some snacks, though she mainly stuck with the drinks. Then she went back out to her bike, she realized there was a farmer looking guy getting in an old pick up truck, he wasn't that old. However, this gave her an idea, her idea disappeared when the farmer accidentally dropped his soda. Before the soda fully fell to the ground, she was able to catch it, and smiled looking up "I think this is yours" she was used to doing things before thinking on them, she would always do something like this, and for that, it seemed like a bad thing to her parents. But, sometimes acting before thinking would come in handy at times. "Thank you, would you like a soda?" the older man asked, he looked to be in his fifties, maybe sixties. Standing up she helped put the soda in the back "No thank you, it wouldn't be good with as much bike riding I have to do though, thank you anyways" she went back to her bike, she couldn't ask someone for a ride with how expensive gas prices had been lately. This new president they have had for three years almost now was really getting on her nerves. Making promises and not keeping them, low class families lose their houses, middle class families going bankrupt, and even richer families had a hard time. Unlocking her bike she put her lock back under her seat locking it there and put her helmet on until she heard the old man saying "At least let me give you a ride somewhere?" he asked. He was surely not from around here, maybe this was a good way to get away. However, at this time of day, when she had just argued with her stepfather, ran out, and even came up here meeting a guy who could drive her anywhere. Well it just seemed a bit suspicious to her; shaking her head, "No thank you, I'm all good, I need the exercise" she lied, she weighed 104lbs, light her for age, but, it was a family metabolism that kept her that way, and she was only 5"4 so it would seem like she was lying. "I wasn't asking you, now get into the truck" he threatened, so the soda drop thing was a plan to get a child to help him out, probably a girl more than a boy or whoever he could get. "No" she stated firmly, she didn't know how to fight unless someone would strike in the face and then she would turn around and deck them or if she kicked, well she was called the 'kicker' in high school for a reason. |
“Is there a problem here?” a sudden male voice called out from behind Ange and a man stepped forward, wearing dark denim jacket and faded jeans. He had a bag filled with a few cans of drinks from the store. There was something black about four feet long and covered with dark canvas bag strapped over his left shoulder, too long to be an umbrella yet too short to be a parasol. He eyed the old man suspiciously; hands tucked keep in his jacket pockets.
“Who the hell are you” the old man jeered before turning his attention to Ange again, a low growl emitting from the depth of his throat as he spoke. “Come on girl, you wanna take a ride to somewhere don’t you?” Matt sighed, narrowing his eyes and began to concentrate his powers. Suddenly the air around them began to turn heavy before being followed by a small explosion very close to the old man’s face, causing him to reel back in shock and slammed against the rear of the truck. “Wh-what the hell?! Did you just shoot me--?!” he roared, slipping his hand into his back pocket and drew out a gun, aiming straight for the man’s head “I did not shoot you. Besides, there’s a camera watching the both of you for the last five minutes. If the police caught you for harassing, they won’t just stop at the courtroom bench” The old man was practically sputtering with rage now. All he needed to do was get the girl into the truck and now some emo freak suddenly turned up and ruined his plan; who wouldn’t be pissed? “You.. you son of a..” But another air explosion, slightly stronger than the first one, sent the old man reeling backwards and lifted him a few inches from the ground. It couldn’t have been the wind, for Matt was standing barely five feet away and not a single strand of blond hair on his head was moving. “Get out of here, Frank Jefferson. And do try to find a better way to live” For a moment the old man stood silent, his eyes wide open in shock. He still held the gun in his hand but upon looking up there was a surveillance camera perched on a light pole just above their heads, recording his face and every move. He’d rather have two snothead kids alive than dead, cursing violently under his breath as he re-pocketed the gun and shuffled into the truck. Less than a minute later the old paedophile was gone. “And you” Matt said in a flat voice, glancing towards Ange. “..try not to talk to strangers, especially if you’re new in this area” and turned away, walking towards the general direction of the parking lot. |
"New?" Ange thought to herself knowing she was at the Walgreens up the street from her house. "I don't know how you did that, but, thank you" Ange spoke, she wanted to get out of Missouri as soon as possible. "Wait, how did you do that?" she asked wanting to know, if he didn't want to tell her, then she wouldn't care and go on her way. "At least let me know your name" though knowing her she would probably wind up forgetting.
She didn't have a good memory and each day she would forgot about most things that happened with a couple of weeks unless she didn't block it out. She had been blocking things out since she was 16 and it eventually paid off to be a bad thing because it made her memory worse if she didn't care about it. She had gotten her bike ready, mounted it and waited to see if he would reply to her questions. |
“Yeah, new. Otherwise you’d recognize Frank from the way he stank. And I didn’t do anything, I just shooed him off” Matt said in a flat tone, shrugging his shoulders and shifted the long object on his back to a more comfortable position. He seemed to hesitate when she asked his name, but where was the harm in that? “Name’s Matt. You?”

(trying to decide if i want to accept someone's alter ego for 5k instead of someone else's for 9k)
"Ange, well I guess I'll see you" she didn't mean it like she would literally see him later, she was just saying bye and that was her way to say it. "I must be going, adios" she spoke the last part in Spanish, but, with more of a french accent. She mounted her bike, put her helmet on and tried to think where she was going to go "Hey where is one of the big army bases? Any ideas?" she asked Matt, that was becoming a common name now. |
[[ Depends on their request/design of their character(s). Me, I'd go for the big un' ]]
"Why would you go to a place like that?" he asked, then thought that it wasn't his business to know where and why people go. "12 miles south, next to the corn field. I'm heading there myself, so this might not be the last we see of each other" he said, shrugging. |
(Huh you confused me, what design?)
"Just uh wanting to get away" ange replied which wasn't a lie, she did want to get away. Ange heard he was going that way as well, it was odd to her why would he be going there. "Thanks, have a good day" she smiled and rode off on her bike down the road. She noticed the sun was going away and that there was cloudy skies up ahead, was it supposed to rain? She didn't hear anything about that on the news, but, when were they hardly right when it came to the weather anymore. The place was a lot closer than she had thought, maybe there was something wrong with her memory, she knew Missouri ever since she was born here and she didn't know the pervert earlier or the guy named Matt she spoke to. Taking her time she let the bike roll down the hill as she kept on peddling here and there. |
[[ I thought you were deciding on art requests.. Sorry if I misunderstood, my bad ._. ]]
A patrol rover quickly caught up with Ange's bike as she came closer to the entrance, flashing and signalling her to move to the side of the road for a quick chat. It being an army base and everything. "Who there? Who are you?" one of the officers said, flashing his light at her face and squinted. What was a girl doing out there, at night, alone when she should be sitting snugly at home. "You got permission to be around here, miss..?" |
(lol no, I might buy the 5k but I need to let the person who thought I was buying their 9k about my decision)
Ange saw the lights and slows down but keeps going she had a feeling he would stop her if she replied back, but, also if she said she did have permission. "I am actually kind of lost, I'm trying to get out of Missouri and just have been trying to ride out. I'm going to be late for work" she smiled half heartily. She wanted to get inside, but, if she had to by force then she would. She made her face look confused as she looked around "Okay, this can't be the south part of Missouri, is it?" she was putting her confused kid act on. It was at least a way to try and figure out if he was security for them or not. |
[[ lol okay xD ]]
For a moment the patrol just stared at her, trying to decide whether this was some sort of a joke to waste his time. "You're not from around these parts, aren't ya?" he drawled out, shifting his weight to one leg. There was a ominous clinking sound of a gun, enough to convey his message across with dignity. "Lemme see your papers then, that is if you're old enough to actually work" |
"I only have my idea with me, I don't need to carry my papers everywhere I go" she raised an eyebrow, she was wasting time talking to him, she wanted to get this over with. She left home for a reason but didn't think it all the way through. She never really did, she had the athletic part down, just not the full brains part. She was smart but only in a creative way, her memory skills sucked. "Look I'm going to be late, it's a cut through and my car doesn't have the gas to make it down here, and if I'm late again I'm going to be fired" she figured to make it sound like she was really going to be late.
|
"Oh yeah yeah, wouldn't wanna detain you any longer eh doc. But do you really think I'm that stupid to fall for a yarn like that?" The man was hissing by then, snarling dangerously at Ange. "Listen here real good kid. I'm going to give you one minute to get the hell outta here. This whole premise is restricted for authorized personal only and I ain't heard of anything about a midnight interview. Now off ya go, before I pump that face full of lead" At that moment another rover pulled to a stop beside the first patrol's vehicle, and a voice called out from within. A familiar voice. "What's going on, is everything alright?" "Yeaap, just some kid running away from home. I'll be done shortly, sir" the man responded, eyes fixed firmly on Ange. |
The change in Ange's expression was very little when the guy threatened her. She didn't take kindly to threats. Her bike was fully stopped "Excuse me, how the f**k do I look like a kid!?" Ange had issues with being called a kid "I'm 21 you idiot, geesh old men like you annoy the hell out of me" Ange scowled "I don't care if you believe me or not, I never said my work was right here, I said I would be late for it" though she took the act off, her eyes seemed like they were full of hate at the moment. People always thought she was younger than her actual age and she hated that. "Even if I don't get in right here, right now, I will get in" she promised adding "By the way, before I leave, telling a girl you're gonna shoot her brains out is rather useless if she doesn't believe in death" and Ange didn't and smiled leaving, though her smile faded after she peddled away. She was going to find one way in, somehow, and there were different ways to get in.
|
The patrol guard obviously didn't take Ange's outburst properly, growling dangerously and would had ran after her hadn't the occupant from the second rover stopped him. "That's enough, corporal. You can go home now. I'll take care of this" Matt said, turning on his engine and left the fuming man alone to handle himself. He finally caught up with her, driving slowly so that they were side to side. "You know, if you wanted to go in all you could do is just say please. Anyhow, do you still remember me? Why are you here, Ange?" Matt said, leaning against the door and watched Ange curiously. He had changed from normal civilian clothes and was wearing a patrol uniform just like corporal grumpy. |
"I'm just trying to get something done, there are only two things I can do right now" well maybe three, but, she knew nothing of science and figured it would be stupid to try on her own without a little understanding of chemicals. "Tch like I could get in with just saying please" she rolled her eyes didn't think that it would be that easy. "And yea I remember you, we just met shortly ago"
|
"Not unless you know someone who works in here" Matt said. "What kind of work are you looking for? Or would you rather be a volunteer?" |
"Not really work-wait, volunteer for what?" Ange asks curiously as she slows her bike down to stop. She reached in her bag and pulled out a Gatorade taking a drink of it. Putting it back in her bag, she zipped it back up. She was now wondering what this volunteer work would be...well she didn't think it was work, but, maybe she would get an answer.
|
"Oh, small jobs that no one else wanted to do; cleaning, gardening, sentry, other kitchen duties, lab work.." he said, pausing briefly at the last word. "Just small little things, wouldn't interest you I think" |
Ange heard the last word, she wondered what lab work would be like, and wondered what it would entitle. An airplane went over them making it hard to hear anything else around them until it had passed by shortly after. "Okay, now I'm curious" which was her way to say that she wanted to know about it. "But, I doubt you could help with any of that stuff, I'll just find another way in" she was making it sound like she wasn't interested.
|
Matt chuckled. "Playing hard to get, huh? Well suit yourself, you could always try climbing over the wall and get shot at, then we'd have to bring you in and patch your wound up. Or you could just get in the car and let me do all the talking" he said, turning on the engine and waited for her decision. |

[[ Aww that sucks D; Good luck finding a job okay? ]]
Yes, the bike. He forgot about that but there was obvious no way for him to bring it into the premise without being stopped by the sentry officer. "You can park it up at the gate, I need to arrange a few papers before they allow it in so you'll probably get it by tomorrow evening" he said, turning on the wheels and led the way towards one of the gates which lined along the property. |
(thanks, I can pop on until then but I will be very limited when the time comes)
'They better not ruin it' she thought to herself as she followed him down there, her best bet would be to keep silent, she could make it harder on him to get her in if she said anything. Now she wished she would've played a deaf girl instead of going off on the other guy, word could travel and pretty fast depending on the size of the staff. "Alright, I'll keep silent" |
