Did That Book Just Talk?...(I see an Arechi and Tally rp)
(Yes I'm quoting myself again. :XD)
Quote:
'Remember...aim for a death blow, strike without mercy and send those sniveling good-doers to their knees' those were the words that echoed in his head, curtsey of his father. This all could have been avoided if Satan would have sent him to the front lines sooner. His abilities in combat and power were thought to rival, if not exceed, his dark father's, however despite that Satan had refused to allow him to join in the fray and slaughtering of angels and humans alike. 'We wouldn't want the blood spilling to end so soon now would we? There'll be plenty of time for you to kill my son, just be patient...' had been his father's excuse. Cain had been rather patient, waiting for the day he could tip the scales in their favor, however it had started to grow tiresome to the Prince. He supposed he was lucky that during the time he hadn't been cooped up in Hell. Instead he had been sent out on small missions, influencing and seducing humans to the 'dark side' and increase their army's size, a job that had boded well from the looks of the sheer numbers of followers behind him. It was only a few days ago that Satan had pulled him from Earth to tell him that their enemy and he had devised a way to finally end the war and decide a victor. He was to challenge their champion of light, God's own daughter, to a duel. The victor would then reign supreme over all, and he was the chosen 'champion' of darkness. It made sense, after all he was the Prince, but he was a bit disappointed to find that his challenger would be only one and a girl at that. Deep down he had a few reservations about killing women, why kill them when they can be used for so many other purposes? Nevertheless he would carry out his father's orders, after all despite the symbol of evil that he and his father represented, he still held a sonly care for his father. Which of course brought him to where he currently was. The battle had been arranged to take place out of the way of any major human town or city to prevent any 'civilian injury or casualties', a condition he was sure that God had made rather then his father. The area was desolate of all life, excluding the ones behind him. The place was even devoid of plant life that he could burn to pass the time. The wind was blowing a warm breeze, ruffling and shifting his bangs over his red eyes, which annoyed him slightly. His hand tightened around the blade that was swirling and pulsating with pure darkness and evil, that was held at his side. Any moment now the he knew his opponent would show and the battle would begin. Again a slight pang of resentment fluttered in his stomach as he again thought about having to fight a girl. Other then she was the Princess of Light and female, he hadn't really been told much more. He wasn't even sure if she was a fighter, but if she was suppose to be their 'champion' surely she'd be able to handle herself in a fight, unless of course she was the peaceful type and wished to try and 'talk' this battle. Although that would make the battle that much easier on him, as he wouldn't hesitate to cut her down, but it wouldn't prove as much of a challenge. There wouldn't even be a need to transform into his true form, a form that looked similar to the one he was in already just with much bigger wings and two triangular streaks above and below both of his glowing red eyes. |
Chloe was born and raised as no other was. She was the princess of light. Although every angel was gods child and every human on the earth was she was special. She was given special privliges and such because god wished his own child. She was chosen and specially trained to be a fighter and defender of justice. She spent most of her time fighting and working hard in training courses. She sometimes wished she were not the chosen angel because she always wanted to go to earth and spend time on earth with everyone else.
She was told one day during the huge war of good verses evil that she would get her wish. She was to go to earth for the final battle to fight the dark side and evil ones. She prepared herself by putting on her fighting gear and grabbing her staff of light. She smiled softly at her father giving him a hug as she took off to earth through the portal to fight as ordered. She appeared in a vast area fully deserted and devistated like a desert. She noticed a boy not to far away from her and frowned at him. She held her staff in a defensive stance and waited to see what would happen. |
Cain's red gaze came to rest upon a portal that suddenly opened. He had to blink a few times as he saw his opponent. She wasn't quite what he had been expecting, but then what had he been expecting? Nevertheless if this was his opponent there was really only one thing he could do, though first he needed to make sure that this was the correct angel. His father had reluctantly told him that it was only the Princess he was to fight and no other angel, another term that God had made no doubt. Calmly his sword lifted, its tip pointed towards the winged girl at the other side. "Shall I presume you are the light's sent champion and my opponent?" he asked, his tone smooth and far lighter then most demons. In truth he almost sounded human, however the followers behind him knew better.
A few of the demons hissed and spat at seeing the angelic girl. They were ready to spring and attack her, however the sight of the Prince's empty hand held up, signing for them to stand their ground, stopped them from carrying out such impulses. They knew that if this girl was indeed the Princess she would be the prey of the Prince and not theirs. Perhaps if they were lucky though, and the Prince was feeling generous, they would get to have a little 'fun' with whatever was left. |
Chloe continued to stare at the boy in front of her with a cautious glance. "Yes I am Chloe. We shall be fighting. Apparently I have trained my whole life for this so it shall be interesting to see if the training was worth it." She stared at the boy. He did not look so tough. "The deal was we would fight alone. Why do you bring minions. Send them away or this is over"
She was not about to be overwhelmed. She would only fight fairly and that was all there was to it. She put on a glare on her face and stared at him. "You will send them off immeditly or we will not fight" |
The demons behind him began to hiss and spit again, though they still dared not move from their spot unless ordered by the Prince. "I didn't bring them, they followed. A battle that is to decide a winner of this war will only naturally draw out others to watch. I assume that's their purpose as well?" the Prince stated as he pointed beyond the Princess and somewhat towards the sky. At a glance it looked as if a wall of white fluttering clouds had appeared, however on closer look it was clear that the clouds were actually angels. The number rivaled the amount of demons currently on the ground. None dared to take flight, least a fight with the angels there ensued.
"As much as I would love to take on a good angel bloodbath solo, I have my orders to fight you and you alone. No others are to interfere on either side. The army of Hell is only here to ensure that none of those angels there step out of line and try to break the agreement, as well as see who the clear victor is. None of mine shall interfere, so long as yours do not either. The demons here know well that I shall show them as much mercy as I would one of your angels in battle if they dare cross my path during my fight. However if your nullifying this agreement..." Cain began to say as power as dark, evil, sinister and as powerful as that to rival one of Satan's own personal attacks swirled around him. It was clear that the attack was meant for an army and not a single opponent, as even a few demons began to shy away from the Prince to avoid being caught. "...then my own orders to fight only one are also nullified and thus I'd be free to take all lives gathered here without punishment or restrictions. In other words I can either fight just you, or I can wipe out your entire force and win the war that way. The choice is yours Princess as I personally don't care either way" Cain calmly proposed as the only thing left visible of him, other than a shadowy outline of his body, were the piercing, glowing red eyes from the tornado of power of flames and darkness circling him. |
Growling at her father inwardly for sending the angels to watch the fight she stared at the wicked prince. "very well no one on my side will interfear as long as you do not either. It is a fight to the death. May the best one win" She had truly hoped they would be alone so she could talk some sence into him and perhaps talk him into not wanting to fight but all was naught now. He would not bow with peer pressure of others around him.
She looked at the prince and admired his appearance. He was rather handsome. She wondered if perhaps a peaceful treaty could be found. "Are you sure we must fight? I am sure we can settle this peacefully if we tried." It was worth a shot. |
As the Princess stated that the fight was still on, the power that had been swirling around him abated abruptly, sending out a powerful gust of wind as it broke. "Oh I plan on it" he said with a malicious laugh and confident tone as his blade remained pointed towards the angelic girl. He wasn't planning on losing and the thought of a death match got his blood all fired up. Finally he would be able to take part in the battles, and the final one at that. He was still conscious though that he was up against a girl, who wasn't bad looking to say the least, and that fact still troubled him slightly.
As Chloe asked if they could avoid the battle and talk peacefully a scowl crossed his face and the demons behind him laughed. "I'm not the one that decides that. The conditions my father negotiated with God was a fight to the death to settle the war. You and I are merely the pawns used to accomplish this. If you want to talk then talk with your power" He said, raising his voice slightly to a shout as a large ball of darkness and hellfire suddenly shot from his empty hand towards the Princess. If she wasn't willing to make the first move in battle, he was more then willing to. He ran after the blast, sword in hand to be ready to attack least his blast missed its target. He could hear the demons behind him cheering him on, though not one dared move from their spot. He was serious when he said he would treat one of them as he would an angel if they interfered and they didn't doubt his threat. |
Listening to him talk she figured negotiations would never happen. She gave up on that idea and resorted to standing still thinking a moment. Suddenly a blast of fire made its way towards her. She yelped and flipped out of the way. "Hey thats not fair I never said I was ready" She could hear the boos of the angels as they waited to see the outcome of this battle.
She noticed he was charging towards her and she took off towards him her spear ready in her hands as she shot a blast of light at him aiming for his feet. She figured it would be off by a few miliseconds. She did not think he could dodge it but there was always a chance he did. In case he did she shot a blast to either side of him so that no matter where he went one would catch him. |
Cain was a bit surprised to see the Princess dodge his attack, and found himself stopped short as one of her own began sailing towards him. From the corners of his eyes he realized it wasn't just one blast he would be dealing with but a few. His mind only had a few seconds to think of a solution. For two of them he sent his own blasts of darkness and fire to spiral towards them. There were only a few left to deal with however, he had managed to create a small, or would once the blasts he sent collide with hers, area that he could flee up to. Of course it would mean taking the brunt of the aftershock of the light and dark blast colliding, but he felt that would end better then simply standing and taking the other blasts to his body.
Without really finishing the thought he realized his power had already planned on that ahead of time, and before he knew it he was in the air from a blast directed towards the ground that he hadn't noticed himself summoning or firing. The two blasts he had sent soon collided, the aftershock hitting him almost at full force, sending him backwards. He tumbled in the air, and it seemed his landing would be a rather hard one. Before his impact with the ground though he managed to turn enough so the he would land in a sort of kneeling position, making it so only one leg would take the full brunt of the impact. He skidded to a halt, with some assistance from his blade and hand, feeling the burning sensation on the leg that landed flat. 'Definitely be feeling that in the morning...' he thought with a sigh before focusing his gaze on the direction of the girl, or at least where he had seen her last. He wasn't sure if she got any of the wave of the aftershock as dust had rose around the area. "In a fight there is no fair or not fair, there's only fighting" he said again firing a blast to where he thought her to be. |
