He hears this and is filled with joy. Never has anybody every thought he was worth anything. "Thank you." He whispers, knowing that her keen ears will pick up his words.

She grinned. Her message had been heard and accepted. She wouldn't have to wrestle it into him. Banking softly, she slowly made their way through the clouds and down towards the lake. It was glowing multiple colors now that the sun had set. She swept along its surface towards the bank.

He watches the lake as they approach, taken by it's many colors. He lets his fingers skim in the water. He still wishes he knew her name but he does get why she wouldn't want anybody else to know it. He also wonders what other gryphons would think of the bond he has with her.

Reaching the shore, she lands with a thud and then walks over to where he had built a hut. Pausing there, she used her magic to relight the campfire out front and turned to nuzzle his cheek with her beak.

Kirin nuzzles her back. His cheeks are damp as he had been crying a bit. "I've never felt accepted before in my life, until tonight." He says.

Startled at finding tears, she twists around to better look at him up on her back. "Little One, you are my precious one and only. I accept you completely." Leaning back, she rests her head against his chest and lifts her wings up and over the both of them.

"I know, but I've never been accepted in my life. And I know it's not logical to be crying but I am filled with so much joy right now." He says wiping at the tears.

She grinned and stepped back to the shore. With a toss, she sent him flying threw the air and into the lake. Then she flapped up and cannonballed in, feathers and all.

Kirin gasps as he's thrown and comes up spluttering and laughing. He laughs even more when she cannonballs into the lake.

Creating a huge wave with her splash, she surfaces and grins at him with her beak as water drips from her feathers. The raising up her wings, she showers him with thousands of tiny droplets. Before they reach him, she uses her magic to turn them into small cold crystals of ice.

Kirin shivers and laughs as the ice crystals hit him. When the next wave comes he uses his powers to evaporate them. He then uses his powers to send a wave at her.

Diving under the water to avoid the wave, she swept underneath him and lifted up under him tossing him into the air.

Kirin laughs and uses his water bending abilities to cushion himself on water. He then lets it go and dives into the water. He laughs.

She comes up and grins at him. "Little one, you have officially been bathed."

"It was fun." He says with a smile. He just floats on his back in the water watching the stars.

She heads onto shore and shakes out her feathers. Then she rests on the shore to preen her feathers. Beyond the edge of the glade towards the valley, a sinister person is traveling in the direction he believes Kirin went. For what no one knew was, Kirin's father had had an apprentice. Now, the apprentice needs blood from the evil mage's line for a more sinister plot.

Kirin gets out of the water stripping his off his wet clothes and lays them by the fire. He remains in just his boxers. He goes and gets some food and then stretches out in the grass letting the cool breeze blow over him.

Settling her head down, she drifts off into sleep. Her glade full of night time lullabies.

When his clothes are dry he dresses then curls up next to her and falls asleep as well.

The early morning breezes and chipper birds bring her to consciousness. She blinks her eyes open and raises her head to look at Kirin. "Wake up little one."

Kirin stirs and wakes. "Morning already?" He mumbles then stretches.

Nodding with a "mhhmmm" she looks around at noticed the faintest bit of smoke towards the valley. Probably from a campfire. Yet a campfire has never been made so closely. Feeling a bit of unease but not wanting to cause undo alarm, she suggested, "Let's get breakfast and go for a flight."

"That sounds wonderful." He says standing. He goes to where he's stored and preserved the dear and berries. He takes in that he'll have to get more fresh meat with in another week.

She jumps into the air and takes flight, zooming above the woods and locating a deer. Divebombing it, she kills it instantly and eats it down. Preening herself before she returns, she comes back with a contented sigh.

"I see you found food." He says with a smile having finished his own meal.
