Love looked at cody and smiled, "Tatsuo called them I told him i was gonna go upstairs, which didnt work, and he got worried so he called the paramedics" She smiled then patted the couch next to her. "Come join me." She very carefully put her foot on the floor.

Love then picked up her phone and texted him back. "My phone was off i didnt get the message."

Cody went over and sat next to Love. "Babe, Yoshi's a good guy, but he needs to leave the boyfriending to me, you know?" He was getting a bit jealous and it was showing.

She looked at him with shock in her eyes. "He wasn't trying to do the boyfriending thing. He was trying to be a friend. And im glad he was. I didn't have my phone when i fell and if he wasn't here it could have been awhile till anyone found me." She thought for a moment then looked at him again. "Did you say something to him about it? Is that why he left?" She looked at him tears forming in her eyes

" Honestly, i don't know why he left. I did say something about it, but not in a real threatening way, " he lied a little. " If he left because of me you should text him and tell him to come back. tell him that i say he should come back." He reached over and wiped the tears away before they really fell. "I love you babe, and all i want is for you to be happy."

Love pulled her phone out and texted Tatsuo. "Tattoo? Did you leave because of Cody? What he said to you?" She set her phone down and waited for a response. She then looked at Cody. "You have no need to be jealous of Tatsuo. I am sure he doesn't even think of me that way. We have been friends for years i am sure he would have told me by now if he had those feelings for me."

Tatsuo checked his phone after returning to his room and replied, "Kinda. he just bothers me. i don't really want to be around him, and since he's your bf he's gonna be there a lot and i don't think i could handle it. Sorry." He was apologizing mostly because he realized that he was basically asking her to choose between her best friend and her boyfriend.

"Okay, but what if he's like me and doesn't tell you until you confess you had a crush on him in the past, or whatever. did you ever have a crush on him?" Asked cody, curious now.

Love read her texts and felt her heart break. Was he really asking her to choose between him and her boyfriend. How could he do that to her? She sent her text back to him. "I can not believe you are doing this to me. how could you? fine then just delete my number!"

She looked over at Cody and said in a very harsh tone. "Yes i used to have a crush on him. But then again that is none of your business nor does it matter at this point. You will not be seeing him around any time soon." She stood up and stormed off toward the kitchen, an action she would later regret.

"No. I'm not deleting your number. I just CAN'T Stand your boyfriend. He's such a DICK!" He threw his phone hard against his sofa. He crossed his arms and waited for it to go off, but before it did, he got up and retrieved it, making sure it was not broken.

"Love... Your ankle..." He said softly. He looked worried and a little frantic. he then heard her phone go off and picked it up, reading the text message. He then replied saying, "She wants you to go away, who cares if i'm a dick. You're upsetting her and she's clearly chosen me over you. so F*** off!" He pocketed love's phone and got up just as he heard a loud clattering of pots and pans and a loud THWUMP!

Love cried out as she lay on the floor of the kitchen, She grabbed her ankle and cried softly on the floor. When cody came around the corner she screamed at him to get away from her that this was all his fault. She cried there on the floor. The pain was not only in her ankle but in her heart. she couldn't believe that he would do that to her. She rocked back and forth on the floor holding her knees to her chest.

"but... love...no. I'm not going away." he got down on the floor and held love closely." I'm here for you baby, I'm here..."

Tatsuo threw his phone again."ugh!!! How could she let him see my messages? This isn't FAIR!"

Love pushed cody away. "Give me my phone and leave, This is all your fault. I don't know what you said to him but this is all your fault. He was my BEST friend. I am so tired of you being so jealous of the other people i talk to. Get out!" She cried harder then pulled herself away from Cody she still could not believe this was happening to her. she had lost her best friend and now she did not know what to do.

Cody stood up slowly. Tatsuo was ruining everything. "fine. I'll leave, but you're going to the hospital. "he got up and called 911 on his phone, he handed her her phone before leaving the room. He went outside and waited for the paramedics. Once they arrived, he let them in, after telling them his girlfriend was upset about something he had said and that she had fallen for the second time that day.

Love cried her whole way to the hospital despite her protests Cody rode in the ambulance with her. She cried the whole way there. Not only because of her ankle she was still really hurt and torn between tatsuo and Cody. The paramedics gave her a mild sedative to calm her down. By the time she arrived at the hospital she felt very tired and just kept saying that she wanted her mother.

Cody Frowned every time Love said something about her mother. He held Love's hand and cooed, "It's okay, Love, It's okay." He then let go and told the paramedic next to him about how love's mother had died, and how she practically raised herself and how she now basically takes care of herself and her dad. The conversation took the length of the ride to the Hospital.

Meanwhile...

Tatsuo laid down untill his stomach started growling, which didn't take too long. He went to the kitchen and made himself some food.

Love cried silently as they wheeled her into the emergency room she swollen ankle throbbing. the doctor assumed she was crying from the pain so they gave her morphine as soon as she came through the door. She curled up in the hospital bed and whispered for cody to text tatsuo that she really wanted him here.

Cody sighed and did as he was asked. He had to fish the phone out of her pants pocket to get to Tatsuo's number. "Hey, come to the ER. Love fell again and I called 911 to have them come get her. She wants you here, so hurry, i guess." He sent the message, frowning. He wondered silently "Am i not enough for her? If not, then i should just find a reason to leave her. i'll stick around until she and i get into another big fight... and then i'll leave."

Tatsuo was in the middle of eating when his phone went off. It was still on the couch in his room, so he didn't hear it. Once he finished eating, he went into the living room and started playing his PS2, playing Kingdom Hearts. He still hadn't checked his phone.

Love continued crying as they took her into x-ray. The guy was nice and was able to make her smile. While the x-ray its self did not hurt having them move it into the right positions did, She winced in pain with every picture. By the time she went back to her room love hand stopped crying and was able to hold his hand and let him soothe her. She whispered softly "thank you for coming with me?"

Cody held her hand and sat on the bed after having her sit up so he could have her head in his lap. He stroked her hair and reassured her that everything was going to be okay.

After a little while tatsuo got a little bored and went to check his phone. He read the text and instantly got worried about Love. He grabbed his wallet and keys and went to his car and started off to the hospital. He had to stop at the entrance of his street to talk to his grandmother, who was coming home. "Love's in the hospital, i'll be home in a few hours."

"Okay sweety, tell her she's in our prayers." said his grandmother.

Tatsuo then drove off, making his way to the hospital.

By this time Love was very tired between the pain killers and the sedative and the crying she was starting to fall asleep on Cody's lap. She yawned softly and curled herself into a ball, forgetting about the pain in her ankle, and winced as she did so. "It hurts so bad baby. Make it stop." She whimpered quietly in pain

Cody stroked Love's hair untill she fell asleep. By then he was standing up and taking care of her, instead of her being in his lap. A few minutes later, Tatsuo came in. "Shh, she's sleeping... let's go out into the hall and talk." said cody as Tatsuo entered the room.

Tatsuo nodded and turned around, and walked out the door, after making sure that Love really was asleep, and after making sure that cody was following him. Once in the hallway, Tatsuo asked, "So what happened?"

Cody ran a hand through his sandy blonde hair. "She got really mad about something you had said and when i asked her a question she stormed off into the kitchen and fell again. She is still really upset but they gave her something to calm her down plus morphine for the pain and she kinda fell asleep. She has already gone in for x-rays. So what took you so long?"

" I didn't have my phone on me after you texted me from her phone. i got upset and threw my phone on my couch and then went to get something to eat and played Kingdom hearts for a bit. i got here as soon as i could after i got the text." He sighed. "Think her ankle is broken?"

Cody nodded in response "It doesn't look good. We just got to the point where she would stop crying before she fell asleep. What ever you said to her had her really upset." Cody looked down at the floor. "If its broken shes going to need your help, ya know that right?" He sighed deeply. "I can't be there for her during the day. I have to go to work. But your free during the day. You can be there to help her."

"What about her other friends? I'm pretty sure she doesn't want me around." Tatsuo sighed. "I told her that i left cause of you, and then i kind of made her chose between us, as you already know, since you saw the text messages." He was assuming that Cody had read them, since he had had love's phone.

Cody shook his head at Tatsuo. "She was just mad. She asked me to text you so you could be here with her. Apparently i am just not enough for her." He ran his hand back through his hair. "Besides. All her other friends from home have jobs during the day. it doesnt matter if you wants you there or not. You NEED to be there."
