Many things have happen since the fall of the government. Records lost or distorted memories lost for eternity. The world that was once great and mighty now gone. This is the realm of the new rise in power the mighty new government. Any who disobey or do not fit within the realm of it's parameters are disposed of and hunted down. It is a mystery to all how the new government came to be. Some say magic others say they had help from beings outside of our realm of knowledge. The truth lies within the very genetic code of every living individual. The flaws that the new government hunts down to extinction is the same ones that made it. How ironic, never the less it is up to the few individuals left with the genetic answer to save the world from the new government and themselves.

Data: Birth date is unknown as well as her true age. She is far superior in intellectual skills than any computer or person. On a on a raid she was found by the new government and captured. She is housed and contained in the
main base of the new government. Her body frozen in time permanently, her mind and soul trapped in the supper computer. No one other than the few that knew her before know that the supper system and brains behind the new governments power and knowledge is actually a little girl trapped unable to free herself being used against her will losing hope every day of every being free.

Data: Raven was found at birth in the forest. He was trained by the govenment left alone for month on end to dispose of unwanted people. He finds it hard to get alone in the world of humans. He spends his time in the forest and sky far from the reach of the race he has little hope for.

Gifts: Known as being government issued her whole body is a lethal weapon. Besides her skills with swords and her martial arts. Fox is a complex individual. Her gifts range from unleashing her wings to forming a metal coat around herself. She can also use her metal coat as a means of transportation by melting into a metallic puddle and seeping into places. With her wings she can summon great wind attacks as well as control the element of air.
Data: Fox was born to a normal military family. At her birth she started her training issued by her father. She was put into the military by her father at a young age at first as a agent then she became part of a elite team used by the government for special missions. Her and her brothers have grown up in the military and along side many of the soldiers. It is well know through out the ranks that Fox as the men lovingly know her as is one of a kind and gifted with special powers. As her brothers and father she is well respected in the military and was once by the government till the accident. Since the new power has stepped in she along with her brothers and any who help them have went missing. She spends her days gathering information forming her plan of attack on the new power that ripped her and her family of bothers apart leaving only lies for their loved ones. Fox has never forgotten the promises she made to the families and her beloved men she served with. After she buried her last comrade she vowed to take her revenge on the new government no matter what it took. If she was going to be hunted then she was going to give them something to hunt.

Gifts: Like the wizards of myth Magus is one of the few humans who can use magic. He can heal or kill with a touch of his hands. He can summon best from his cards and use them as he pleases.
Data:Little is known on this subject. All that is known is that he woke one day in a church and has been raised by the church. He is known as their fallen Angel. He remebers nothing of his past before waking up at the church and uses his gifts to help the church and the people.

Gifts: Jake has an incredible memory. He remembers extremely easily anything he sees or hears. Unfortunately this takes a lot time for his brain to process so he sleeps longer than most people need to. He is a very good people person and can literally charm himself with anyone. He is also good with a gun, though he detests them knowing what they can do to another living creature.
Data: He is taking college courses from a tutor. He lives in a rich neighborhood where the local children are homeschooled under the excellent tutorage of a tutor that assists them in being the best society has to offer. They often meet at his own home as his father owns the largest mansion in the neighborhood. His powers came on gradually and he didn't realize what they were until his teens. These abilities are kept a secret between him and his friends.

Gifts: Can control electronics and access systems with her fingertips. Her understanding of technology can be frightening, yet despite all of this she remains shy and not really a people person. She tends to not trust humanity and is known for keeping bugs and other technology that might be used to spy for those like her from discovering this neighborhood.
Data: Kilala lives next door to Jake and is in on his secret. Despite knowing who he is, she keeps her own secret just that, a secret. This is because of her ability with electronics. She knows that even a whisper can be overheard and feels this is the best way to protect herself. Still, Jake is the one person she trusts most and she would do anything for him. With their rich parents either always working or traveling, they have plenty of free time outside of their tutor sessions to hang out and cause mischief.

Aliases: The Neurotic Twins

Gifts: Empathic and Telekinetic. They can sense others emotions and read unprotected thoughts. The only defense against them is to literally start reciting a list, book, or something that has nothing to do with what they want to know. Sam has unique martial arts skills with his focus on strength at the expense of speed. Serena is a bladeswoman with her focus on speed at the expense of strength and stamina. Neither of them like loud noices so between hunts, they can often be found in a library or in their rooms playing classical music quietly in the background.
Data: They were recruited in elementary school and raised with the government's ideals of what is right and wrong. They had to pass debates against anti-government people, keep up a certain physical level, and show creativity and unity in their actions. They are twins that can't bear to be separated. Their mental link to each other diminishes greatly when they are.

Jake learned forward, elbows propped on the large chair. Chin almost touching his folded hands, he was the image of an eager student soaking in every morsel of knowledge his teacher provided. The tutor seemed to be in higher spirits with each question Jake thoughtfully proposed. The questions themselves were carefully neutral. Jake knew everything the tutor was telling him but hid it to avoid suspicion. He had read the material the night before and could recall word for word the points the tutor was now making. The questions were for the benefit of his disguise as well as for the other neighborhood students. They needed to be exposed to certain aspects of government procedure without the taint of anger. Government wasn't his favorite subject, but today it was the tutor's. Mentally sighing, he continued to look as agreeable as he could.

On the other side of the room, with an obviously bored expression, sat Kilala. Her curly blonde hair fell in soft waves to her shoulders giving her the picture of an angel. Except that she didn't feel like one. This was definitely her least favorite class. However it was the last class of the day. If only she could keep awake long enough to get out of here. Her gaze drifted towards Jake, her best friend. He said he had a surprise for her today. Sighing softly, she admitted anything good came with a price. In this case being a good citizen and not making a fuss over what was obviously pro-government material.

Magus stared off as he sat in the room with the other children. He was not use to this place even after being forced to come here. He hadn't changed from his clothes that he had been found in . The government would not be happy to see him still in those cloths bout they wouldn't be happy to know that he and his Fox where going to destroy it. His eyes wondered to the window as he wondered where Fox was. She was very strange but he could feel her out there waiting for him hiding in them shadows.

Raven rolled his eyes as he heard the orders being shouted about the base. It was going to be another long day. Where was that girl the one that seemed to be able to think ahead of him and even Rule herself. She was the key. The heads of state could say what they wanted but that girl was a threat one he had to take out. She had called herself fox. "Rule pull up all information on subject fox." He said as he watched the computer before him. He slammed his fest down as he saw there was nothing but a young girl picture. "Nothing again!" He said as he shook his head.

With the tutor finally gone and the neighborhood kids dispersing, Jake stood and casually strode to the impatient twerp. "You ready to head to town Kilala?" She glanced up at him, dull eyes brightening to life. She didn't talk much, but he still understood her. Respected her even. Too many talked a lot about nothing. When she spoke, each word had a specific purpose that left him thinking and strategizing. They headed out of the community building his father had set up for the specific purpose of education and towards his place. Like all the mansions in this neighborhood, it was unique and spoke of wealth.

They took the side door into the garage. She quickly looked over his car for bugs. Satisfied, she said, "Looks good." Mentally Jake translated it to 'it's safe, let's get out of here.' Kilala was really good with computers and electronics. Jake wasn't sure why she liked such a hobby or how she found the time to learn so much. Still, he was grateful to her. He climbed into the driver's seat while she sat beside him. They snapped on their safety belts at the same time, the click a signal of coming freedom. He started the engine, shifted into reverse, and backed out of the garage. Time for a little breathing room.

Magus followed the strange boy and girl. He looked down at the photo Fox had gave him. They where the ones. He kept his distance as he closed his eyes and whispered a chant. A red aura appeared around the tires on the car as a loud sound came from them as they exploded. He smiled as he stood there. He knew that no one knew it was him if they did he would have a target on his back. He had done as Fox asked though where was she. He stood there as he waited for her to make her appearance. It wasn't like the girl or guy could go anywhere. He had magic after all.

Jake was shocked as the tires blew out under them. He unbuckled his seat belt, looked over at Kilala, then hopped out. He slowly circled the car, shock registering on his features. Every single tire had been blown out. His eyes looked at Kilala's through her side door mirror. She took in his expression and slowly shook her head no. He mentally translated that to, 'don't panic, don't run and don't do anything stupid.' He felt horrible. He took her advice though. Any normal person would have no reason to run. He picked up his phone to call his dad. The nagging regret he did have was drawing Kilala into this situation with him. She was innocent while he, with his abilities, was not.

Kilala watched cautiously as Jake pulled out his phone. Doing what a normal person would do, call for help. She was better it was one of three people. The police, the car's dealership or the police. With all four tires blown out, the police was the natural choice. However they might learn of secrets best not learned. So his options were limited. She silently thought over where she went wrong. This was a setup. How did anyone learn of either of them? She kept themselves cleared of bugs or tracking devices. He made sure in public that they never were in places with lots of agents. Between them, they had always managed to stay clear. Yet now, it seemed like it wasn't enough.

"I wouldn't call your father so soon Master Jake." A soft voice echoed. A guest of wind blew through the area rustling up the leafs and other debris about the place. "The last stunt you pulled put you on their radar. Rule knows of you and your powers. I'd ask you to come with me and let me help you. But you want because you are stubborn and young. When you are ready to learn how to master your powers I'll find you. Jake take care of Kilala she is more valuable than you think. Be ready to fight Jake they are coming for you. And you want be able to hide or run. Raven will find you along with the Neurotic Twins. And Jake you know who I am already and how to find me. Remember I saved you when you where younger and promised to always look after you as I did your elder brothers." The wind suddenly died down as the debris began to settle once more. Fox stood high among the roof tops unseen by the untrained eye. She looked to Magus giving him the ok to let Jake and Kiala go. She wasn't stupid Jake wasn't ready to face what was coming at him. Though she would protect him and Kilala both. Kilala was the only one who could challenge Rule. Though even with as much potential and power Kilala held in her little body in the end Fox knew it may not be enough to completely defeat Rule. She turned and leaped of into the sky her massive wings giving her flight as she vanished in a blink of a eye into the clouds . It was time her and Magus got home.

Magus froze as he hard the voice. He shuttered as the wind picked up. The guest froze him to the bone. He knew that was one of Fox's greeting cards and he couldn't stand it. He had never been found of wind. The strange woman could summon wind like no other even among their kind. He still didn't understand what was so great about these two kids, especially Jake. Fox had told him that Jake's power was to remember. How would that help them against the government that wanted them extinct. It made no since to waste time on him or try to save him. But he had learned very fast and hard that Fox was never to be doubted. He gave a slight nod as he whispered a chant. The red aura appeared around the car as four wheels appeared. He turned vanishing in the shadow of the ally way. He appeared shortly inside the old stone church. He still didn't understand much about his teacher and leader Fox or Arch Angel as the men of the place called her. It was strange but the people here had such respect for her. Even the high priest. He didn't understand the woman or her ways but he had to admit she was never wrong and always knew what to do to save a life. Maybe that was why many believed she was a real angel. He closed his eyes as he made his way to his room to do some training of his own. He knew in time his answers about the strange woman would be answered and about the others as well.

Hearing the voice in his head, Jake froze and didn't finish dialing through to his father. This voice, smooth and confident, was warning him that not only was he in danger but that he must also protect his friend. He could only think of one reason for this. He had by association put her at risk. Was it not his fault to begin with? He sometimes got reckless when she wasn't around. It was only a matter of time until he made the wrong mistake at the wrong time. Still, why did this voice help him? Why had she helped him so long ago? He hated it how many questions he had. How many uncertainties. Someone risking their life for his. He didn't ask for this. None of it. Numbly he lowed his hand and closed the phone. This wasn't what he wanted. To no longer have his abilities and the horror it brought. To relive the sadness experienced again and again. That was why Kilala was such a joy. In her simple ways, he felt grounded. Now something was threatening to upset that world he had adjusted to.

Kilala watched Jake's face as his eyes stared into nothingness. Some held his attention beyond her understanding. It scared her. Electronics she understood and navigated. How many times had she appeared to be reading a simple article online while her fingers resting deceivingly gently on the keyboard, surfing the internet in ways that couldn't be tracked. Her mind was full of information she could never share. Paths traveled no human should know of. Yet in the world around her that she shared with other living creatures, she was at a loss. When he finally seemed to shake out of his trance, she started to relax when the car suddenly lifted up. Jerking still, she stayed alert and it dawned on her the tires were fixed. Slowly, she unbuckled the seatbelt and opened the door. Staggering out of the vehicle, she ran to Jake and wrapped her arms around his waist. She felt one of his arms wrap around her as he used the other to slide the phone back into his pocket.

Jake reassured Kilala and said, "Get back in the car. It seems we are in danger. We need to go back and pack. There isn't much time." He pulled her away and gently pushed her towards the passenger door. Turning, he jogged around to the driver's side and hopped in. As soon as she climbed in, he started it up. Door closed, he floored it and headed back to the house. There was no time to waste. She could help hide them electronically. However there were always other ways of tracking. He would have to keep his eyes open for any signs of being followed or danger.

Kilala watched the houses fly by as he turned into the circle drive their neighbors shared. He pulled up into the garage and let the door down. She climbed out and without a glance at him, disappeared out the side door. Going home to her empty house, she went up to her room and touched her laptop. Immediately within the networks of internet and subspace connections, she erased all knowledge no matter how simple of her that existed online. She deleted her emails, public records, education and medical histories. Leaving no sign that she had ever been born. Her parents, when they went to report her missing, would be so confused. It had to be done though.

Raven glared as he heard the sound of his ear piece going off. He smiled as he heard Rule the young girl that was the supper computer and brains behind everything gave him the known location of the others. If he got them maybe they would force his Fox to appear she was the prize they where just toys for him. Without hesitation he took flight turning into white European dragon. He quickly soared through the air as he hide high in the cloud cover. His amazing eyes sight let him see everything below as he flew. He heard Rule as she informed the others he was on his way to meet up with the targets. He found the pair easy enough to his surprise as he watched them get into the car. He could feel something wasn't quite right as he followed high in the sky. He hovered over the house as he kept his eyes on them. He wanted to just snatch them up but really how bad would that be on the local news. Long thought mythical creator attacks innocent kids. The twins as he called them where needed here. They could just move in and take them. Though if they didn't hurry up the kids where his for the taking.

Serena and Sam walked through the backyard of their target house's neighbor. The mental thoughts of their two targets slightly veiled, but giving away their location like a beacon. The boy was heading to the girl's house. They walked up to the fence and easily vaulted over the high barrier. Landing lightly on the other side, they watched the slender brunette male enter the house. Noiselessly, they followed unseen in their black outfits. The clouds kept the sun from showing their slightly red hair. It too looked black in the shadows. Like the assassins they were, they confidently stepped inside. Mentally they followed the boy upstairs to the girl's bedroom. She had stopped scampering about her room. She must have finished packing too.

Sam took the lead while Serena returned outside. He knew she would ensure no one left the house without her in the way. He quietly ran up the stairs and stood beside the open bedroom door. The boy was trying to explain why they needed to run, but not very effectively. He stepped inside. The girl's eyes widened in surprise. The boy swung around, hands clenched into fists. Not allowing him a chance to move, Sam quickly laid in a powerful punch to the boy's stomach, causing him to double over. Letting him fall to the floor, he walked towards the girl. She stepped back, eyes wide open and placed her hand on the computer. He narrowed his eyes and then screamed as electricity flew out from loose wires. The computer and the electronics in the room seemed to come alive, crackling. He fell to his knees, barely aware of the boy struggling to his feet towards the girl.

Serena felt her brother's pain and saw through is eyes the cause of that pain. She braced herself outside the bedroom window. Suddenly glass broke into thousands of pieces as the boy leaped out the window, holding his young charge tightly in his arms. He twisted so that as he landed, he would cushion her fall at his expense. She withdrew her blade and prepared for their landing. This might be more difficult than she first assumed. Nothing to it though in the long run.

A quick gust of wind picked up sending Raven high up subordinating him. Tree branches flew around as out of then air a shape came hurling at the earth. It landed sending Serena flying threw the air immobilizing her pinning her under a fallen oak tree. As the wind picked up the shape came into view right in front of Jake and Kilala. The long strands of silky black danced about her thin frame as the female looked over her shoulder as Jake and Kilala. "Magus take them now. Jake your safe." She said as her eyes met his for a moment. She gave him a grin. "It's me Jake your safe. Hold on to Kilala and go with Magus. He will keep you safe and I will join you shortly." Her voice echoed through his mind as she turned her attention back to the others. A pair of large white and blue wings appeared from her back as she grinned shaking her head sending her hair flying about her as she stood there.

Magus appeared in a Red flash just behind the pair as he stared at fox. She was beautiful his mouth feel open. Her wings where magnificent. He snapped out of it seeing Jake . He steeped in front of them as a red aura appeared around them. He chanted as he stepped back a red magical pentagram appearing at their feet as he pulled out a card throwing it in the air. " Atums your up." He then put a hand on Jake and one on Kilala as they vanished in the red glow from the circle. Magus let out a breath as they appeared in the middle of the church in a flash. He dusted himself off as he looked over at the pair the priest coming to help them. He put out his hand before the priest could touch the pair. "Yes it's them, before you ask. Fox...Arch Angle has put them in my care till she gets here. I didn't leave her alone Atums is with her." He said seeing the older men disapproving of his choice. They looked at Jake and Kilala as the welcomed them. Magus turned looking at the pair. "Come lets get you to the kitchen you can have something to eat. We aren't the enemy besides Fox seems to think your worth saving so your safe hear. Don't be fooled the old men here are more than they seem. They have deadly skills as that of Fox herself. Rule.....or the brain of the group Neon government can't find us hear or touch us. Fox and apparently You are the only ones who know how to stop Rule. " He said looked at the pair. "Come your safe and Fox will answer your questions shortly." He said leading them into the rather large kitchen. He walked to the large wooden table in the middle and picked up a apple as he began to eat it.

Fox looked up as she saw the large winged beast appear from the small card. Atums you are a sight to see. She said as she smiled looking over at the girl Serena. "Hello Serena it has been a while. Sam I hope you will take better care of her please. " She said as she smiled leaping in the air as she met the large black dragon in the air as she looked to where Raven was. "Still second best Rave as always. When are you going to learn little brother?" She said as she softly stroked the large dragon. "Raven please help them they need your help. " She said as she pointed to Serena as the Atums swooped down and picked up the large tree off the girl and placed it beside her as he returned to Fox's side. She looked at the others. She said as she vanished with the black dragon Atums.


Raven cursed as he flew through the air. He about died as he saw the shape turn into Fox herself. He couldn't move as he watched what happen. He lunged at boy in the glowing circle. He only found air as he let out a growl. He watched as Fox toyed with them. What was her problem they where enemy but she was helping them once again. He let out a growl as he watched the massive black dragon named Atums pick the tree off Serena. He didn't understand Fox. He growled at her. " We take care of ourselves! Next time we meat I'll make you pay! " He roared as he turned looked at Serena. He hung his head seeing that she needed help they both did. He walked to where she was and softly nuzzled her with his long muzzle as he knelt down for her hoping she could crawl on his back. He softly moved his wing under the frail girl as he slowly rolled her up on his back being as careful as he could with her. Once he had her on his back he looked up at the girls room. "Sam, are you ok?" He roared as he hoped the boy could get out. Though he figured that he may not be seeing Serena's condition. He rose his head up to the room as he peered in.

Serena lay on Raven's back, double-over limply with one arm weakly holding her waist. If only it had been Sam. He was stronger and would not have been as badly hurt by the tree. She knew his thoughts. She was faster. If she had gone upstairs instead, then her speed would have worked to her advantage. Anger at those they hunted filled her and was fueled and shared by her twin. Slowly, she looked up where Raven looked into the window. Her grimace from what she knew he was now seeing.

Sam knelt in the middle of the floor. Gasping with sweat beaded on his forehead. The electrical shock was a shock in more than one way. They didn't know she had that type of ability. It was an assumption that almost killed him. Looking up through his banes, he looked at Raven's eyes. Holding that gaze, he gathered what strength he had and stumbled to his feet. He had missed the boy by mere centimeters. As he had dashed past, Sam had tried to grab him and missed. Reaching the window, he muttered to Raven, "Don't suppose there is a round 2 in the future." He wanted another chance at them. A feeling he knew that he shared with Serena and Raven.

Out of sight but not out of mind was their prey. Jake was musing silently over what he had seen. The memories crystal clear and easy examined forward and backwards. While keeping an eye on Kilala, he analysed the new information that he had gathered. First and foremost, Kilala was like him. Which meant that her life was in more jeopardy than he had originally evaluated it being. She had touched the computer to create a mad electrical maze of wires. Did this mean her ability was to control electricity? No, she also was good at finding and getting rid of bugs and ensuring his vehicles were always clean. The connection was computers. Somehow, she could control them. At least that was as far as he knew.

He turned his mind to the three "allies" that they seemed to have. As far as Jake could tell, the lady whose voice he knew was a protector of some sort. Her abilities beyond his understanding. She had spoken into her head while flying with wings. She would require further thought. Then the magical dude seemed to control what was basically magic. He was with the his guardian angel. Since she had spoken in his mind when the tires were blown out, it was safe to bet the tires were all his. Finally the monks. One had started to reach out his hand when the mage had vouched him them, so that monk's ability was dangerous on skin contact at least. Which mean for that monk, the best defense was wide open spaces.

Jake hesitantly turned his thoughts to the three known enemies. The boy and girl were identical except for their gender. They had the same eyes, same expression of pain when the boy was shocked, the same clothes, and the same stances. Most likely either raised together or even twins. He was strong. Jake could tell from the way he had punched him. Had knocked the breath and all thought right out of him. Despite that strength though, he wasn't the fastest. After being sent to the floor, Jake had still managed to get past him to Kilala. What was the girl's story though? She was a bladeswoman, but not seeing her fight didn't give him a clue to her strengths or weaknesses. Though it seemed the boy was a weakness for by hurting him she had been hurt. That left the dragon. The large, terrifying dragon that had dived towards him as they were being transported. It's fury and anger evident in it's eyes. How do you defeat a dragon?

Kilala saw Jake's face. He was thinking. She had no doubts that she was a part of that process. Her abilities had surprised him. Remembering the look on his face when she had shown her true self, she wondered if that affected their friendship. He had been so surprised. Looking down into her soup, she wished she had just been born normal. That would make things so much easier. She wouldn't have had to leave home or try to figure out who to trust and not trust. Though she could definitely vouch for their cooking skills here. Let it not be said that a house of worship couldn't also be a house of pleasure. The food was absolutely divine.

Fox appeared in the kitchen as she shook her hair from her face. She walked to where Magus was as she held out his card to him. "Thank you Magus. He was my hero as always. You should let him go out more often and spend some time with him. He is a great friend you know." She said as she looked the boy over. She could tell he was still puzzled. She hung her head as she watched him leave. "He still is new to everything. Magus can't accept his power. " She said as she watched one of the priest head after the boy. She softly walked to the table as she put down two bags in front of the pair. "I hope that is some things you both liked. I am sorry for your loss. I thought they wouldn't attack so soon. I can't make you stay here but you are welcome too. You are safe here and you may find you like it here. Worst case you could help Magus adjust. " She said as she looked at Jake. "Hello officially once again. If you wish to call your father you can. But please keep our house secret." She said as she looked at him. "I will have a phone brought to you if you like. Before you ask they will be back. I have people with your family's." She said as she stared at her own soup.


Raven looked at Sam as he gave a nod. "We will I promise. And next time I want be of no use. Rule can help me learn new forms. I promise to learn as many as I can to help you more. I am sorry for being no use to you. " He said as he looked up at the sky. "Come on she isn't looking too good and either are you. I think Rule has some explaining to do. She could have warned us. But right now we need to get you guys back and in bed after you get checked out. I'll go get started on my studies and have a word with the stupid computer." He said as he open his wings and rose on his hing legs growing taller than the house as he turned to his side for Sam to get on with his sister.

Jake didn't have to think about it. To call his father was to put him at risk. Cutting all ties here and now was the best thing to do. "I'll pass on the phone call. I'm dead to my life that I had before. Forgive me, but why have you looked out for me all these years?" He looked at her waiting. There had to be an explanation. Compared to her, he was definitely nothing. The way she had handled that last incident had been so smoothly done.

Back in his neighborhood, Sam pulled himself out of the window and onto Raven. Holding on tightly, using his pain as a source of strength, he carefully manuevered himself towards Serena. He heard her thoughts and felt her pain. Worriedly, he wrapped an arm around her to better ensure her safety. "We are settled back here Raven." He wanted to have a chat with Rule. Holding his breathe, he waited for Raven to leap into the sky. Once in the air, he was useless for much except to be hauled around.

Fox sired her soup as her eyes slowly lifted to meet Jake's. She stared at him looking as if she was a statue herself. She was perfectly motionless as she stared at him. The room became cold suddenly as she sat there staring at him. "Do you remember your brothers?" She said her facial expression never changing as she spoke in her soft calm voice. "Your brothers weren't criminals and your father wasn't the knelling fool he is now. Your mother was not the victim of a car wreck either. I made a promise to your brothers that I would protect you and your mother. Your mother was the mission expert for the group your brothers and I where in. I remember when you where lost in the snow that year. I came to you and helped you get back home. You where so trusting then. It's a shame your still not that amazing guy. But war and lies do that to people. I am sorry that I haven't been able to protect you as I would like. The truth is your mother died trying to protect your friend's here sister. " She said as she looked over at the girl and smiled. "I'm afraid she isn't the only one gifted with computers. Her sister or "RULE" as she is known is the reason for why you are here and I am here. Both girls are known to the government or where. Rule was responsible for the weapons we have today. She was your mothers project and my friend. RULE was found in the middle of the arctic frozen. She was tested on by the Neon government before we found her. We broken into their headquarters to honestly whip them off the face of the earth. There we found her. We trained her and taught her to trust again. But as you can tell we where all betrayed. Not by little Rule. It isn't her nature as it isn't hers." She said looking at the girl smiling. "They are perfect in their own way. Neither one of them see things as we do. That way they want be monsters like we are by nature." She said as she looked back to her soup. "Our very own general betrayed us all. We fought for our lives. My brother and father died in my arms that day. Your mother was captured and killed before your father. That is why he isn't the same man you knew or remember. He watched his wife die at the teeth of the monster you saw today. Your brothers fought to protect everyone as I did. Though the two you saw today took them. Before Raven, Serena,and Sam where Neon they where us. They where part of my team. They where new and I warned they where to young. But the president was convened that I was a total success so any child or young person could be raised in the government and trained every day to be a deadly killer or whatever the government saw fit to make them. Don't be fooled by how old I look I'm much older as my father and brothers where. I am one of a kind. There can be no more like me as I pray there never is. I am calm and able to handle them because I have had centuries of experience. You will too because you'll take after your grandfather. Raven is nothing but a lost boy as Sam is. Serena is just hurt. She is the one with the most damage. I believe in time you will find you have more power than you know. As for why I keep you safe. I promised your brothers I would and I keep my promises. I am not perfect but I do honor my promises." She said as she sired the soup more.

Raven quickly leaped in the air. He loved how fast his massive wings cut though the cool air as he flew. He loved the power he felt as he flew. He was worried though as he glanced seeing Serena. He looked back ahead of him and he moved his wings in a quicker pattern as he began to fly at speeds unheard of. He slowed down before the base. He tried to slowly desend knowing that the speed he had reached made Sam and Serena lungs almost burst. He didn't want to harm either one. The one thing he had learned was they where the last of the family he had left in this place. It was them against the others here that feared them. Once he landed safely he quickly cleared the path of the human scum as he made his way to the health bay. He bowed and knelt down just outside of it. He hoped Same was able to get Serena in there so he could change back and then get in there with them to make sure they where both ok then have some words with that stupid computer.

Jake stared at Fox, his mind struggling to keep locked that part of his mind he feared. It was as if she were forcing a key into that lock and opening it. Memories forgotten, no. Not forgotten. Hidden. He didn't have brothers. His father had always been a coward. His mother, perfect in every way, had died innocently. It wasn't true. The memories broke past that locked space inside of him. His mouth formed an O as what he had successfully hidden so long ago came rushing back. He had hampered his own mental abilities to ensure he would never face what she had put before him. "No... I don't want to remember....I have no brothers..." A single tear slid down his numb face. His mind was picking something else up. Memories that weren't his. Vague but obvious. Still though, those outside memories confirmed what Fox said even though he struggled still against it. He wasn't supposed to remember. He couldn't read others' minds in order to forget. All the pain of his past came and engulfed him.

Kilala watched surprised as the cool Jake because one full of pain. She had never seen him cry, yet now his face was growing in anguish. His shoulder's slumped and he hugged himself while staring at the table as if that alone would change time. She stood and walked over uncertainly. This was out of her league. He was supposed to be the strong one. He had no brothers, yet he was crying as if what Fox said was true. Did that mean she was right? She turned and looked at Fox, questions filling her eyes.

Sam rearranged his arms around Serena so that he could carry her. Easing her into his arms, he winced as he felt what she felt. The stab of pain in her side was surely a strong bruise. If not more. Then he felt the gentle mental nudge. "Thanks Raven," he said gruffly as he slid off and hit the ground. Straightening, he turned and looked at his friend in the eyes, "Catch up to us quick won't you." With that he turned and started at a dead run for inside. Inside where she could be patched up quickly. He felt a part of him go numb and black. Looking down, he saw that she was unconscious. That was a mixed blessing.
