"Vixen, I don't need you to leave since I'm not doing anything." he said. "However, I don't need you to stay here either. You are free to leave if you want...I really don't care." he said as he pulled his hand back but kept his eyes on her. "Vixen what you did today, I will never forget. Again, thank-you." he said quietly and smiled slightly. "Oh and memorize as much of my room as you can, because you'll probably never get to see this room again...not in a very long time anyway." he added.

"Well again you're welcome... it really wasn't anything special... you just gotta really look... but I do need to get back to work so I'll leave you alone." Vixen said with a slight blush then turned and left the room and started back down the hall. she cleaned as she went but never stopped blushing as she finally made it back to her room to put Setta in there. She then walked back out of her room and started to work again... yet she just couldn't stop thinking about how close Valefar had gotten and how odd it felt for her to be close to him... and every time she thought about it she blushed again no matter what she was doing.

When Vixen was gone, Valefar let out a content sigh and looked down at Charlie sleeping in his arms. "Ah Charlie...I have no idea what's going on right now...I..I really don't know what to do." he said and smirked. Being so close to Vixen brought a new feeling into play. He felt so different that moment they were so close, then he realized he had never really touched her before...this was the fist time he actually touched her instead of yank her around. "Why did I touch her though?" he asked himself in confusion.

It's such an odd feeling that caused me... like I was about to cry or scream... but not out of pain... and it wasn't a bad feeling... it was just so odd... she thought... and yet she kinda liked it... but why? Why was it so different?

Valefar sighed and set Charlie down on his bed. "It doesn't matter why I touched her, the real question is when will I do it again, if I do it again." he said to himself and looked at Charlie. "When the right time shows itself I suppose." he said to himself and decided to go eat dinner since he knew it would be ready soon.

Vixen sighed a bit as she walked and continued to think as she made her way down the stairs and to go wash her hands before making sure that everything was set in the dining room for dinner. It was only about five minutes till and all the food was already being brought out. She sighed a bit as she sat in her seat after a few people had already came in and taken their seats.

Valefar walked into the kitchen shortly after his parents had walked in, and took his seat. He glanced over at Vixen but said nothing and looked at his food. His mind was still focusing on what had happened in the room but he did his best not to think about it too much as he began to eat his food silently.

By this time both Sinz and Souls were back in their normal forms and visible again. After everyone was seated and had started eating so did Vixen and her two guardians. Before long they were done and soon excused themselves. Sinz and Souls heading back to Vixen's room and Vixen heading off to the kitchen to help clean up.

Valefar took his time eating his dinner, and when he was done he stood and walked back to his room to check on Charlie. "Look at you, still sleeping. You're very lazy arent you...come with me." said Valefar as he picked up the sleeping Charlie and began to walk to his mother's garden.

After Vixen was sure the kitchen and dining room was tidy after everyone was done eating she left and went to the library. She liked spending her free time in there... and she wanted to make sure everything was straightened up before she went and started to look around and make sure that all the books were in their right spots and all the shelves were clean. She noted that there was a book that she knew she didn't have in her room missing and sighed thinking some. She then went and walked around not seeing the book anywhere in the halls so she headed to the garden thinking that maybe Valefar was reading it. "Excuse me Prince Valefar... I was looking through the library, did you take one of the books out of there? I just wanted to make sure incase I maybe just missed it." she asked softly and kindly.

"Charlie, you need some fresh air..." said Valefar as he looked up at the sky and sighed. "We both do...I need to get out more, I mean, it gets boring being cooped up in my room all day." he said and let Charlie slither around the garden. Hearing Vixen's voice, he looked over at her and nodded. "Yes I took a book to my room...it should be somewhere in my room..." he said and tilted his head. "It sounds weird hearing you said 'Prince Valefar', I'll have to get used to it." he said and shrugged. "Are you done with your work for the day?" he asked her.

"Oh okay I thought so... I was cleaning in the library and noticed there was a book not there." Vixen said with a smile then blushed a little. "Well I don't know about you but I'd rather call you by 'Prince Valefar' then nothing at all... and you never told me what you wanted me to call you by... I just thought that sounds more respectful." she said with a slight blush a bit unsure though knew she didn't want to dissrespect anyone... even after he had hurt her... but that odd feeling he gave her before.... it shook something in her and she still didn't understand it

Valefar stood and looked straight at her. "Right. I prefer that you call me that...although everyone usually just calls me sir." he explained. "For now, you can call me 'Prince Valefar' until I say otherwise." he added and searched her face for something. "Are you okay Vixen?" he asked. "You seem...distracted..." he said and looked at her concerned.

"Oh... um yeah I'm okay I'm just thinking over is there's anything that I need to do... I don't think there is but I always like to go over my work." Vixen said hoping to cover up what her mind kept wandering to... she didn't try and think of it... she just did

"Vixen, when will you learn that you're a very bad liar?" he asked and smirked. "It's okay if you prefer not to talk to me about your troubles." he said and turned his back to her then picked Charlie up in his arms. "Well have you cleaned every room you usually clean?" he asked her.

Vixen blushed a little when she heard him then shook her head. "But I'm not lying this time... I am thinking over what rooms I've already cleaned today... and yeah... I have cleaned every room I normally clean... well other then you know cleaning up after desert." she said softly with a bit of a nod.

"You're not lying this time?" he said and smirked. "So then the other times you were lying?" he asked and chuckled. "I knew it!" he said and tilted his head to the side. "Vixen...you said you wanted to be my friend. I can't help to think how we're going to do that..." he said to her softly. "I wouldn't know how to begin making a friend..." he added and looked at her then up at the sky.

"ACK! NO NO THAT'S NOT THE CASE EITHER!" Vixen blushed not having meant to imply that in the least. She then calmed a bit and listened to Valefar and smiled a little. "Well... like I told you before, friends are just nice to eachother and there for one another when the one needs to talk or is upset or something... it's really not that hard being friends at all." she smiled softly hoping that this time he really did want to be her friend.

Valefar made a face when she said about being nice. "I have to be nice?" he asked and looked down at Charlie. "Vixen, you do understand that's impossible for me right?" he asked and sneered. "I'm a demon...demons are never nice." he said and then thought a bit. "Well I suppose they are to some kind of extent..." he added quietly.

"But see that's not true... Eofe was nice... and if you get to talking to some of the maids and cooks they're nice... be it a little harsh sometimes when you do something wrong, but still. Not all demons are evil just like not all angels are good... tainted and fallen angels also have a bad rep for being cruel and demented... but do you see me chopping people up?" Vixen said with a smile

At the mention of Eofe's name Valefar's face changed visibly and he wiped a tear from his cheek. "Yes, Eofe was different. I agree that she's a very nice person though...she was a very nice demon..." he whispered and chuckled at what Vixen said. "True...you haven't killed a single soul since you came to my home..." he said and smiled.

"Oh... I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you..." Vixen said then did smile some at what he said then was a bit surprised. He had been the one to blame her the most for Eofe dieing... and now he didn't blame her... she was really surprised though it made her kinda happy and she did smile at him.

Valefar shook his head. "You have no reason to apologize...you did nothing wrong Vixen." he said and frowned. "Eofe was like a second mother to me...she took care of me when my own mother didn't.." he explained. "She will always be missed, no one compares to her you know." he said and smiled.

"Wow... I wish I had had someone there for me when I was younger." Vixen murmured softly though then nodded. "She was definitely someone special, and I hope this doesn't come out odd but I hope no one tries to take her place." she said softly though did smile a little even though it did kinda make her a bit sad to think about. When she said she hoped no one tried to take Eofe's place... she more meant that she didn't think that anyone could and for Valefar's sake really... she didn't think anyone could take her place and if they tried... it really wouldn't be good... it would probably end up horrible.

Valefar shook his head. "No one is ever taking her place, because if someone does try to take her place..." he started but stopped and sneered. "Well let's just say that I'll see to it myself that the person is no longer a threat to Eofe." he said and smirked evily. He missed Eofe, but he knew that she'd never really leave him alone.
