Valefar turned to look at her again and chuckled. "Three times huh?" he repeated and walked over to her. "You must really like reading, or you're really bored." he said and laughed a bit. "I myself like to read, but not as much because sometimes I start reading and end up falling to sleep." he said and shrugged. "That's probably the only reason for why I read a bit before sleeping sometimes." he added softly and looked at her neck closely.

"Well a little of both... when I'm not working now I find that I have very little to do so I tend to get really bored." Vixen said softly then noticed Valefar looking at her neck and gave a small smile. "It feels allot better now... it still burns a little but not near as bad as before." she said meaning about the still pretty bad looking burns on her neck from the collar.

"Well I get bored a lot too since I really have nothing to do..." he said and looked at her. "I'm really sorry for what my father did to you. I won't let it happen again..." he added and gently ran his fingers along her neck and over her burns, careful no to hurt her. Valefar had never actually touched her before, but he was curious as to how burns felt. "I'm happy to know that they're feeling better. Keep putting ice on them and they should heal soon." he instructed softly as he pulled his hand away hesitantly.

Vixen shivered a bit as she felt Valefar running his fingers along her neck and was a bit surprised that it didn't really hurt. "It's okay, it wasn't your fault so you don't have to apologize for it." she said softly with a slight smile and nodded some. She had the erge to grab his hand or just be close to him for some reason... she didn't really understand it but she knew that she wanted to be close to him... even if it might be wrong.

"You say that I don't have to apologize, but I feel that I should. I want to apologize...my father got out of hand. He shouldn't have done that. Then again, my father loves to hurt people so I know he'd never stop and just listen to anyone about anything." he explained and shrugged. "I'm just glad he didn't kill you..." he said and quickly looked down. What did I just say?! he thought to himself.

"Well thank you but it's not your fault, you couldn't help it that he didn't believe me that I was pushed, if anyone should be apologizing it should be him and the one that pushed me.... but I didn't see who it was." Vixen said softly and had smiled some when he said he was glad she wasn't dead.

Valefar couldn't help but laugh at what she said. "My father would never apologize to you. I don't think he'd ever apologize to anyone in general." he explained and shook his head. "As for the person who pushed you...don't worry about it. Today seemed to be a very busy day so being pushed is to be expected." he added and looked at her.

"Hey you can always hope, I never said it wasn't an impossible hope." Vixen laughed a little. "But in all honesty.... I don't think I'm mad at anyone.... it was a misunderstanding... I guess I had just been a bit hurt that he didn't believe me but I guess that's to be expected... and it also seemed that when my wings came out from my muscles julting that didn't help me at all... oh well nothing to do about it now but rest I suppose." she said with a it'll bit of a shrug.

"It's an impossible hope, my father never apologizes to anyone lower then him." he muttered quietly and crossed his arms across his chest. "I'm surprised that he didn't tear off your wings. I would have expected him to do so...I guess it just didn't come to his attention or something." he answered with a shrug. "All you can do is rest and hope to get better...I prefer it if you work along with someone else, that way you'll be somewhat safer from harm." he added.

Vixen shivered at the thought of having her wings ripped out and the thought nearly hurt to even think of. "Would he really have ripped out my wings?" she asked hoping that it was just a mean joke but had a feeling that it wasn't. "And I will work with someone else if that is what you wish... it would be safer in any case." she agreed softly and kindly.

Valefar chuckled and sneered. "It all depends n how he's feeling. He might do it himself or order someone else to do it. He might even order me to do it...whatever the case, I wouldn't allow it. I like your wings...they're an interesting color." he explained and ran a hand through his hair. "Yes, it would be safer..and I'll be watching you every now and then from a distance just to step in if things get ugly again." he added with a nod.

Vixen shivered more at the thought of really anyone crying to rip her wings out though then smiled and nodded some at what Valefar said about watching her. "Thank you." she smiled softly with a slight smile. She felt an odd closeness to Valefar... and yet somehow so distant... she almost felt like he didn't like her at all... but she wished that he did... she wished that he liked her allot... because she kinda liked him quite a bit.

Valefar noticed the shiver and chuckled. "No need to be afraid. I would never let your wings be ripped out of your body Vixen." he said and grinned. "Oh...and no need to thank me Vixen...I mean...we are friends...right?" he asked and tilted his head to the side. Valefar couldn't help but feel that he didn't just want to be friends with her. He felt he wanted a bit more than that...but he wasn't so sure if it was possible.

"Of course! And I'm very thankful for that too! I mean... I like having you as a friend... it's nice..." Vixen said and couldn't help but blush a little.

Valefar blinked a bit and nodded. "It feels weird, having a friend. I mean...I like it, I'm just..." he started and shrugged a bit. "Not used to it I guess..." he answered softly.

"Heh... yeah I understand that." Vixen said softly then felt very awkward again... she didn't what to say or do at this point... her feelings were making it kinda hard to talk to him really... she wanted to tell him how she felt but she was scared... she was his slave it wasn't right to like him.

Valefar looked down at his hands and his nails. "I can tell that something is bugging you..." he said and glanced at her. "I understand if you don't want you or can't tell me." he added and looked at the door. "I should leave...I have something I want to do..." he explained.

"Oh... no it's not really something bothering me... it's just something I shouldn't think say or feel..." Vixen said nearly muttering the last part as she looked away a bit feeling her cheeks starting to blush a little.

Valefar had opened the door but closed it and turned to her. "Something you shouldn't think, say, or feel?" he repeated and began to tap his finger against his lips. "Well that narrows it down to a smaller but still large list. Any other hints?" he asked and leaned back against the wall next to her door as he looked at her. He noticed she was blushing and smirked. "That blush on your face narrows it down even more." he added and walked over to her.

"Uh... um... it... it's nothing never mind..." Vixen said then blushed even brighter and turned her head away a bit looking down really embarrassed right now... she just didn't want to get in trouble for liking him... and since he was the prince and she was a servant she could get in allot of trouble.

Valefar tilted his head as he watched her blush get brighter. "Vixen, you don't need to be embarrassed around me." he said softly as he stared at her. "I won't bother you anymore on it. I understand if you can't tell me..." he added quietly and leaned closer to her. "Get better soon..." he whispered before kissing her cheek and turning to the door. Closing it behind him, Valefar smirked and couldn't help but wonder what had caused him to do what he head done. Walking into his room, Valefar picked up his violin and began to play.

Vixen couldn't help but turn even redder when she felt Valefar kiss her cheek and was about to try and say something when he left... well she had her mouth open but no words would come out. "Wow Vixen... you sure got yourself it's a predicament now don't ya? Falling in love with the prince... that's kinda bold if I do say so myself, but you could go for some leasons on how not to blush so heavily." she smirked some and Vixen laid down and covered her head. "SHUT UP!" she muttered before just staying like that for awhile calming a bit before moving her head on top of her pillow and was soon fast asleep

"You're right Charlie...something feels off..." Valefar said as he stopped playing his violin. "Was it the song?" he asked and examined his bow and violin carefully. "It's all in order...nothing is broken. It must be me then.." he said and sat on the bed as he stared out his window. "I have to relax...clear out my mind and play." he said to himself as he took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Grabbing his Violin again, he began to play it and looked over at Charlie as he did.

Sinz was wandering around while still being invisible and stopped at Valefar's door listening to him play his violin then stop. she had a feeling she knew what was wrong but she didn't feel like being rude so she just stayed outside the room instead of appearing in there with him.... he could probably figure out that she was out there even with her being invisible anyway.

Putting his violin down, Valefar felt a chill run up his spine and turned to the door. "If you want to talk come inside." he called and stared at the door. He felt that something or someone was outside his door listening. He wasn't sure though and slowly stood from where he was sitting on his bed and walked over to the door before opening it.
