Valefar looked at her as she closed her eyes. Part of him just wanted to kiss her cheek instead and back off, but he wasn't going to run off again. Instead, he held her face gently in his hands and leaned in closer until his lips finally met hers in a soft but loving kiss.

Vixen could feel her cheeks get a little warmer as she felt his hand soft on her cheek and then something that really made her blush.... she could feel his lips on hers and that really surprised her making her open her eyes for a moment before slowly closing them again and kissing him back softly her face still quite red. It was such a nice feeling... it was sweet and tender... and yet it made a lump rise in her throat a bit... not out of fear or anything... just... it was so odd and it made her happy at the same time.

Her lips felt really nice against his and he really felt better now that he was kissing her. Maybe now she would know how much he cared about her, and by the fact that she was kissing him back...well it was obvious to him that she really cared about him to. As he continued to kiss her, his hand ran through her hair softly.

Vixen smiled softly under Valefar's lips and wrapped her arms around him softly as she continue to kiss him and just felt so wonderful right now, kissing him felt right and warm... it felt so loving to have his lips on hers and him kissing her, she love it, it showed that he cared and she could show him that she also cared... maybe even loved him... she thought that might be the right word to describe how she felt towards him. |
His tail wrapped around her waist as he pulled her closer to him and let his fingers run through her hair. This felt right, he never thought he'd be kissing anyone much less a fallen angel. It didn't matter though, he knew that he cared about her very much. 'Love' is what people call the feeling he was feeling right now, so it only made sense for him to say that he did love Vixen and he didn't care what anyone thought or said about it. Walking through the halls, the king was looking around for Vixen since he couldn't find her working. Opening the door to her room, rage filled him immediately. "What do you two think you're doing!" he yelled and pulled Vixen away from Valefar. "How DARE you kiss my son!" he hissed at Vixen.

Vixen smiled under Valefar's lips as she felt his tail wrap softly around her waist pulling her closer to him. She soon gasped as she felt someone yanking her away from him and shrank when she heard the kings voice. She couldn't find her voice though, all she could do was whimper and look at Valefar wanting to be away from his father... but if she tried to pull away from him he would only hurt her... and if she tried to use her powers all that would do would be to hurt Valefar and she didn't want to do that at all.
"I ASKED YOU A QUESTION NOW ANSWER ME!" The king demanded and she only whimpered more before seeing him look at Valefar. "And you, you are the prince! My son! How could you get close to this filth like that! I knew I should have killed her when I had the chance! She has corrupted you and I WILL punish her for it!" the king growled and Vixen looked at Valefar. "Valefar... please help me." she whispered then felt the king smack her sharply across the face. "SHUT UP!" he ordered and she whimpered again softly. |
Valefar glared at his father when he took Vixen away from him. "Yes I know I'm the prince and your son, but I can do whatever I want you know!" he said and frowned. "Vixen is not filth father! I think that she's a very nice girl and she cares about me unlike you and mother. You two don't care about me at all, you only care about yourselves!" he hissed. Looking at Vixen he nodded. "I'll help you, I promise." he whispered back and looked at his father. "Don't hit her!" he yelled. "I won't allow you to hurt her father! You can hurt me instead since I'm used to it now." he ordered.

"YOU DO NOT TELL ME WHAT TO DO! And compared to us she is filth! She is not a pure race! She is a tainted angel, even lower then a dark angel!" The king growled darkly before turning though kept holding on harshly to Vixen arm. "And if you try to stop me I WILL kill her." he said as he dragged Vixen down to the dungeon and threw her into one of the smaller cells then ordered the guard to chain her to the wall and keep the prince from coming in the cell. He then stormed back upstairs and went to talk to the queen before they both went to talk to their son.

"I won't allow you to kill her!" yelled Valefar as he followed after his father. "If you try to kill her father, you'll have to try to kill me too!" he hissed and narrowed his eyes. Following him down to the dungeons, he watched as Vixen was thrown into a cell and chained to the wall. "Vixen..." he said sadly a he gripped the iron bars tightly as if that would make a difference. "I'll get you out of here Vixen, I promise..." he said before running after his father. "Father, I order you to let her go!" he yelled.

Vixen looked at Valefar and wished so badly she could hug him or something other then being locked in this cell.
"Valefar you DO NOT order me to do anything! I am still the king and higher up then you! Not to mention I AM your father and you WILL do as I say." the king growled before crossing his arms. "Also me and your mother had decided, we are calling for the demon princess from the east to come, you will be wed to her in a week after she is here." the king said sternly and the queen nodded, this would be good for Valefar, for him to have a demon bride. |
"I will not do as you say!" he growled. "I will do as I please and I will not be wed to a demon princess just so that you both look good in the eyes of every other demon kingdom!" he yelled. Valefar was tired of being pushed around and having his life being run by his parents. "Have the demon princess come, I don't care because I won't talk to her, I won't even look at her!" he added and looked at his mother then his father. "I can't believe that the two of you hate me this much!" he hissed. The Queen sighed and shook her head. "We're doing this because we love you and because this is what's best for you." she explained.

"You're mother is right Valefar, if we hated you then we would let you pursue a relationship with the ex-princess of the angel kingdom, nothing good ever comes from a tainted angel I can promise you that. I know one day you will thank us for our strictness, it is for your own good after all, and the good of the kingdom." the king said though was just trying to be honest with his son hoping he would understand.

"Shut up! You two never cared about me at all! Vixen makes me happy and I love her! I didn't think I did...I kept denying it to myself but I can't deny it any longer!" he cried out and frowned. "It's no use fighting with you....I'll never win but I'm done taking orders from you both. By the way mother, Eofe will always be a better mother to me than you are." he spat and sneered before heading over to the dungeons once again. He had to find a way to get her out of there....but how?

The king snarled at Valefar before storming over to him and grabbing his arm fiercely and dragging him over to his room. he then pushed him in and locked the door from the outside to he couldn't get out. "You can come out when you leave some respect! Or when your bride gets here whichever comes first!" He snarled darkly before heading towards the dungion where Vixen was struggling to get out of her bonds.

Valefar's eyes widened as he felt himself being dragged back to his room. "Let me go!" he cried as he tried to pry his arm away from his father's grasp. Slamming a fast to the door he hissed angrily. "Let me out!" he yelled. Hearing his father leave, Valefar walked over to his window and opened it. "Charlie!" he called as he waited for the dragon to come to him. The king stared at Vixen and shook his head. "Struggling will do you no good." he said and ran a hand through his hair. "So it turns out my son loves you, well I won't allow that to continue. The demon princess is on her way here, and when she gets here, and and Valefar will be wed in a week." he explained. "All you'll ever be is his slave...though maybe I should just kill you now..." he said.

"YOU'RE A MONSTER! Valefar has done nothing wrong! And neither have I! Even with a wedding set up you can't force him to go through with it!" Vixen hissed darkly before seeing her two guardian's appear in front of her both in protective positions and both with their wings out. Sinz had black wings while Souls had blueish white but neither would let the king hurt Vixen in the least.

"Silence!" he yelled. "Ever since you came to this castle all you've done is cause trouble!" he said angrily. "You've corrupted my son's mind! You call me a monster but I think the real monster here is you!" he spat and looked at both Souls and Sinz. "Do you think that Valefar would like that fact that you want to hurt me?" he asked Vixen. "Charlie!" called Valefar again as he waited. It was a long wait before Charlie came lying in through the window. "Hello buddy...I need you're help..." he said and closed the window as he set Charlie down on the bed. "First, I need to get out of this room. Second, we meed to find a way to get Vixen out of that dungeon..." he explained.

"I nor my guardians want to hurt anyone but they will protect me if needed. I have been kind to everyone here even you who I honestly can't stand. I have done nothing wrong, I just tried to be Valefar's friend, I was supportive of him when Eofe died even though he blamed me for her death, I have and never will do anything to harm him and no one can stop me from being kind to him and caring about him. If he were to tell me what he himself didn't want me to be nice to him anymore... well then I guess I would have to fallow what he said... but I couldn't be mean to him." she said and it was clear that she cared deeply for Valefar and would never hurt anyone.

The king stared at Vixen and shrugged. "Eofe died...everyone has to die at some point, including you." he said and sneered. "You really love my son don't you?" he asked and crossed his arms across his chest. "Well too bad, because you're going to stay here and for the wedding, you can come and watch." he explained and chuckled. "Anyway, I should really go, I have other things to attend to." he said before turning and leaving to his study. "Charlie...just go to Vixen's cell in the dungeon. Maybe one of her guardians can come help me get out of here. Go!" he ordered and opened the window for him. Charlie screeched and flew out of there and headed to the dungeon.

Sinz growled darkly when she heard the king but he was gone before she could do anything. She then turned to look at Vixen and saw her staring down at the ground. "Dont' worry my lady I'm sure there's some way to fix this" she said softly and Vixen looked at her softly but sadly. "I don't know how though..." she said quietly before looking down again trying to think of something, anything that could help them... but she just couldn't.

Charlie let out a loud screech as he flew through the dungeons looking for Vixen. When he finally found her cell, he flew over to her and screeched loudly. Valefar closed the window and sat on his bed as he thought. He knew that his father probably had the key to his room, but how would he get it. Sending Charlie seemed like a good but bad idea as well.

"Sinz, Souls... I think Charlie wants you to fallow him... I'll be okay for now just go and see what he wants okay?" Vixen said softly and her two guardians look at her worriedly before nodding as both appeared outside the cell and fallowed Charlie to see what he wanted.

Charlie hissed and flew off to Valefar's room. He would look back every now and then to make sure that they were following him. When they reached Valefar's room, he scratched at the door and looked at Souls and Sinz. "Charlie you're back, who did you bring for help?" he asked. Charlie crooned and scratched at the door again sadly.

"Oh now I get it, here allow me." Sinz said as she moved Charlie to the side and picked the lock with her nail for a few minutes before getting it open. "Your father is a monster... but I'm sure you already know that." she said once the door was opened and she saw Valefar on the other side. "Mind filling us in?" she asked since neither her nor Souls knew what had happened since they were outside at the time.

Seeing the door open, Charlie flew over and sat on Valefar's shoulder. "Thanks Sinz. As for filling you in...well my father walked into Vixen's room and saw she and I were...k-kissing..." he said and looked down quickly. "Anyway, the thing is that he locked her up and is going to have me marry some demon princess in a week once she arrives." he said and looked at the two guardians. "Come on, we need to get her out of the cell..." he said and looked around before running off to the dungeons. "We should really be quiet now.." he whispered.
