((Ohhhhh....haha! Poor Valefar!))
Valefar followed the male with Charlie right behind him. "Aqua Marine...that's the other blue I was looking for." he admitted and smirked. "I'll take both." he said softly, knowing Vixen was probably going to love him even more when she saw them. Charlie screeched softly and watched as Valefar chose the sets that he wanted to get. "Well Vivian...I do hope you're right." she said and looked at Vivian in surprised when she pointed out that Usha had something on her mind. "Well...I'm just thinking over what happened today. It seems strange to me that everyone seemed to accept Valefar loving Vixen. It seemed too odd in a way." she explained. "I still don't believe that Cresil agrees to Valefar marrying Vixen, I believe he's only allowing it since he wants his son to be happy." she added. |
"Very good sir." the man said softly before wrapping up the jewelry and handing Valefar the package with a smile.
"I know what you mean... from what I understood Cresil hated Vixen... or at least he had before..." Vivian said softly and unsure but other then making Valefar happy she couldn't think of any reason Cresil would let them get married so easily. |
Valefar took the package and payed the man very well before dragging Charlie out of there and coughed slightly. "Come along Charlie.. we need to get back. I'm sure Setta is waiting for you and I need to get back in bed." he explained before climbing into the carriage with Charlie and headed back home.
Usha thought for a moment and shrugged. "Maybe Cresil had a change of heart?" she suggested. "I don't know, but I don't think we should worry about it much. If he allowed them to get married...then that's what really matters here." she said softly. |
"You're right." Vivian smiled softly before they started a lighter chat.
Vixen crossed her arms and tapped her foot as she waited for Valefar to get back in the room with a frown on her face. She had a feeling he would do this, hopefully he was okay though. |
When they arrived back home, Valefar coughed again but quickly silenced himself before walking inside the house and quietly walking up the stairs to Vixen's room where Setta was still waiting. "Okay Charlie..thank-you for keeping me company. I'll be sure to give you some JuJu berries later. I'm off to bed now." he whispered before hiding the package in his coat pocket and walking over to his own room. His head was spinning slightly, but he managed to open the door and noticed Vixen was up. "Oh...hello." he said and smiled. "I went to the kitchen and drank some water since I couldn't really sleep." he said as he closed the door behind him and looked at Vixen.

"Oh? Then why are you wearing your jacket? And why have you been gone for nearly an hour?" Vixen said before moving over to Valefar and helping him over tot he bed "Valefar I promised your parents that I wouldn't let you get any sicker, please don't make a liar out of me." she said softly and you could tell she was worried about him.

Valefar blinked and thought of an answer. "Well...b-because it's cold in the kitchen?...and I took long because...I drank a lot of water?" he answered and sighed as he got into bed again. "Love I'm fine really." he said and coughed slightly into his fist. "I mean look...I made it back, I didn't pass out so I'm okay." he said and placed his hand into his coat pocket, wondering if he should give her one set already.

"Valefar you do realize you can't lie to me anymore right?" Vixen smirked "I know you went out... why don't you take off your jacket and sleep for now? I knew you were going to obsess until you got the ring anyway so now can you just please sleep?" Vixen said softly and pleadingly just wanting her love to get better.

Valefar sighed and took off his coat and hung it before crossing his arms across his chest and coughing slightly. "I feel fine." he muttered as he walked to the window and looked outside. His window was open which surprised him but he didn't mind it much. "I slept way too much already. I'm sick and tired of not doing anything, I want to be able to go outside...to be able to actually leave my room. I can't though...no because I'm confined to this room. I'm hungry...the food comes to me, same with water and books." he muttered as he stared out the window for a while longer before closing the curtains and curling up on his bed and staring at the coat. He wasn't planning on giving her the ring today...he wasn't in the mood anymore.

"I'm sorry Valefar but you know you can't get better if you don't rest. I just want you to get better you know that." Vixen said softly as she wrapped her arms around Valefar and looked at him apologetically and lovingly.

"I said I feel fine...." he muttered as he looked at her then turned to stare at the ceiling. Coughing quietly, Valefar sighed and rubbed his head gently. "Fine... I'll get more sleep then...and I don't want you peaking in the coat pocket." he ordered before closing his eyes and trying to sleep.

Vixen looked at Valefar softly and then sighed and turned on her side feeling a bit upset that he was irritated with her. She just wanted him to get to feeling better and he couldn't if he was up and about with him having that cough of his... but then again she also didn't want him upset with her... and she could tell he probably was now.

Valefar couldn't sleep and sat up in bed. Glancing at Vixen, he sighed and ran his fingernails through her hair before grabbing his nail filer from the bedside table drawer. It was all he could do to keep him busy as he sat there fully awake and with a headache. Filing his nails, he moved to file the thorns on his tail in silence to let Vixen sleep.

Vixen felt the bed shift and slowly moved a bit to wrap her arms around Valefar's waist lightly and looked up at him softly and lovingly. "I'm sorry if I upset you love... I've just been really worried about you... if you want to be up and about I won't stop you." she whispered softly hoping she didn't upset him again as she looked up at him lovingly.

Valefar shook his head as he continued to file the thorns on his tail. "No...I'm going to stay in bed like a good little prince. You know, more than anyone that I'll do anything to please people. Even if I'm miserable....as long as everyone is happy...I'll do it." he explained and glanced at her. "Go back to sleep...I'm not sleepy." he muttered and checked his thorns carefully.

"But... what will make everyone happy if to know that you're okay and not sick anymore... I'm not even sleepy I just wanted to stay close to you... if you don't think your fever will come back then we can do whatever you want... I just want what's best for you love." Vixen whispered softly and you could tell she felt awful for making him feel this way as a slight tear escape one of her eyes.

Valefar looked over at her as she spoke and wiped away her tear. "Love, please don't cry." he whispered as he put his nail filer away and pulled her closer. "I know you want what's best for me...and I promise to stay in bed from now on until I get better." he promised quietly. He hated seeing her like this, it was killing him inside seeing her so sad like this. "Smile....please? For me?" he asked and nuzzled her cheek.

"We don't have to stay in here if you don't want to Valefar" Vixen said softly then gave him a slight smile before kissing his cheek softly and lovingly.

Valefar looked confused and raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean by that?" he asked. "Do you mean here...as in the room or here as in my home?" he asked trying to get a clearer answer.

"I mean in your room... if you want to go outside we can I just think that you shouldn't be standing too much... you almost passed out earlier remember?" Vixen said softly and caringly showing that she was just wanting to make sure that he didn't get hurt.

"Ah yes... I hate standing. I get dizzy quite easily now and it's frustrating because dizziness turns into headaches." he admitted and sighed. "I don't mind staying in my room...as long as you're here I'm happy." he whispered and looked at her lovingly. "Besides, I don't want to anger my parents. They want me to stay in bed and I will...the truth about today will come out...but for now it won't." he whispered and nuzzled her cheek lovingly.

Vixen smiled softly before hugging Valefar lovingly. "Would you like me to go get you a book?" she asked with a smile just trying to think of some way to make him happy

"I suppose a book will be nice. You are free to get one for yourself too love." he said and coughed again before whispering, "Some water would be nice too please." His throat was starting to hurt from coughing so much, it was annoying.

Vixen smiled before kissing Valefar's cheek softly. "I'll be back soon love." She smiled softly before heading to the library and grabbing a few of their favorite books and then went to the kitchen and got a nice cold glass of water for Valefar. She then made her way back to his room and opened the door with a smile before setting the glass down on the table and setting the books down next to Valefar.

Valefar nodded and watched her leave. While he waited, he filed the thorns on his tail again and stopped when she returned. "Welcome back..." he whispered and thanked her before reaching for the glass of water on the table. "I take it no one saw you?" he asked softly and looked at the books before opening one up and smiling.
