Valefar glanced over at Sinz and Souls before looking at Vixen. "What's wrong with Sinz and Souls?" he asked quietly. Were they getting sick now too? He didn't want that happening...maybe the demonic atmosphere was too much for them? That wouldn't make sense though since they had been here before when Vixen first arrived.

"I don't know... ever since we met Nixy they haven't been feeling the best. I sent Kaji a letter but he hasn't sent me one back yet." Vixen whispered back softly before the food was served and she started to eat.

"Hmmm...maybe we should talk to them?" he whispered back and began to eat his food quietly. Valefar would occasionally glance at Charlie to make sure he was eating correctly. Charlie stared at his food before picking up the fork and eating his food properly. The silence at the table was something Valefar was already used to...but somehow this time is just felt...unnatural.

Vixen was a bit unnerved by how quiet it was at the table... sure normally it wasn't loud but normally there was some chatting... why was everyone being so quiet? Was there something wrong? Was there something that her and Valefar had missed? What could it be?

Suddenly, Valefar pushed his plate away even though he wasn't finished. "I'm....not hungry." he admitted. He had only eaten because his stomach wanted food...but he really wasn't even hungry. Part of him wanted to just finish his food to make his parents happy but he didn't think he would be able to. His mother looked at him, but before she said anything, Valefar grabbed his plate and continued to eat the food left. "Father?" he started after swallowing. "I know I am in no position to ask you to do anything...but you spend too much time cooped away in your study. You should take a break every now and then." he suggested. Cresil looked at his son and sighed softly after drinking his drink and swallowing. "I know..but work needs to get done, I'll take a break once I'm done." he answered seriously before continuing to eat. Valefar poked at his food in disgust but soon was able to actually finish it. Pushing his now empty plate away, he finished his water and excused himself before walking to his room and sighing.

Vixen watched Valefar worriedly and once she was finished excused herself politely and went to check onValefar to make sure he was okay. She went to his room and walked in before closing the door softly and looking at him worriedly. "Are you okay love?" she asked softly and worriedly.

Valefar was reading his book again and looked up when he heard the door open. Seeing Vixen, he smiled and nodded at what she said before going back to reading his book. "Did Charlie get his JuJu berries?" he asked. "I forgot to give him some before I came here." he explained and glanced over at Vixen before putting his book down.

"Yeah I told the chefs to make two small juju berry pies for Setta and Charlie, hope that was okay." Vixen said softly before going over and curling close to Valefar. "Did it feel kinda.... odd at dinner to you?" she asked softly and worriedly.

"Yes, that's fine." he said and smiled when she curled up next to him. "So I wasn't the only one that noticed?" he started and ran his nails through her hair gently. "I'm guessing everyone was enjoying the silence maybe?" he suggested. "My father was probably too busy thinking of work to even speak...though it is strange that my mother didn't talk to yours." he explained and narrowed his eyes. "I'm still thinking about why Sinz and Souls aren't feeling well." he commented.

"I should get a letter back from Kaji by the end of the day... I'm wondering if it has anything to do with me finally meeting Nixy..." Vixen said softly but smiled as she felt him running his fingers through her hair.

"If it is that...would it necessarily be a bad thing?" asked Valefar as he looked down at her lovingly. "Try not to worry about it love...whatever the reason, I'm sure there is a solution." he assured.

"Not necessarily... see because they were apart from one of the people they were supposed to protect for so long and now they're suddenly close to her all of the time it could really mess them up." Vixen said softly then nodded and smiled slightly hugging Valefar lovingly.

"I see. Well then, it just is going to take some getting used to for them." he answered and continued to run his fingers through her hair. "I hope they get better soon though." he added quietly before yawning slightly and looking at his book.

"Me too... I love you you know that right Valefar?" Vixen smiled softly up to her lover and kissed his cheek softly and lovingly before nuzzling his chest lightly.

Valefar looked at her and smirked. "Maybe I do...maybe I don't." he teased and nodded. "I know you do love, and I love you too. You know that right?" he asked and put away his book as he held her close to him.

"Of course love." Vixen smiled softly and lovingly to Valefar. She yawned softly and stayed close to Valefar wondering how she could be so tired when she hadn't really done much.

Valefar grinned and stroke her hair soothingly. Noticing her yawn, he gently ran a nail along her cheek, "Love...if you're tired you should get some rest." he commented lovingly.

"Yeah but you're the one that's sick not me... I shouldn't be this tired." Vixen yawned softly before nuzzling Valefar lovingly and smiled at him tiredly.

"No...no excuses love. If you're tired get some rest. I will be right here and read before getting some rest of my own." he insisted and frowned. "I don't want you staying up for my sake...it's not good to deprive yourself of sleep." he explained and smiled sadly.

"Well... okay... I mean I really don't think I need it but I do feel sleepy." Vixen said softly before laying down and wrapping her arms around Valefar's waist softly as she soon fell asleep somehow still being rather tired after resting and sleeping with Valefar for most of the day.

"Thank-you love..." he whispered and watched her sleep before he stared out towards the window and sighed softly. He was getting better...his tail was swaying slightly on it's own, so that was an improvement. Picking up his book, Valefar opened it up and began to read in silence.

(so what should we have happen now?)

(That letter needs to show up, Valefar needs to get better and propose to Vixen. Ugh I can't even think straight right now...))

(Yeah I know but I can't think fully on what to have wrong with Sinz and Souls... and I really feel like the king would have given more of a fight then what he has.... I just feel like something's missing XD )

((I can always just make him say he'll never accept Vixen and Valefar getting married...but if Valefar wants to marry her, fine...he just will never accept it. Though yeah...we need to see what's up with Sinz and Souls.))
