Cresil glared at Sage as he listened to him speak. "You don't even care about your daughter, you offered her to us as a peace treaty. So I do not understand why you suddenly show up to take her back!" he exclaimed. Valefar felt something cold press against his face and slowly opened his eyes. His vision was blurry at first, but it was starting to clear up and noticed it was a shoe. Valefar let out a groan as he pushed the foot away and looked around confused as he tried to stand up. "What is it that you want...exactly?" asked Cresil to Sage. "I know it's not your daughter's happiness...so what is it?" he asked.

"Oh come now Cresil don't act so innocent, you pratically invited me. You know I care nothing about my daughter, but I can't have my wife finding out that she wasn't the mother and that Vixen has a sister that wasn't the one back home." Sage said making Vivian look up fearfully and look around for Nixy who she couldn't see... norm could she find Vixen.

"F-Father...you planned this?" said Valefar in confusion. "Just because I invited you, doesn't mean you can hurt everyone else in here! If you wanted to hurt your daughter go ahead, but no one else." Cresil said before looking at Valefar who had stood up. Valefar glared at both of them. "I don't know what either of you wants...but I'm going to get Vixen back and we WILL get married. If neither of you like it I could care less, no one is inviting any of you!" he hissed and looked at his dad. "I hate you. I hate you so much because no matter what I do, I'm never good enough in your eyes. I never seem to do anything right, you always tell me what I should do and if I do it you still don't appreciate me. You never want me to be happy it seems!" he yelled as his voice cracked.

"oh but you see other then your son everyone that's been harmed has had some relation to me." Sage smirked before listened to Valefar and chuckled some as he heard Valefar. "Well then son you better find someone else to marry, I don't think that little pathetic excuse of a being is going to be alive for much longer." Sage grinned before vanishing and suddenly Vivian burst into the room "VALEFAR! Come quick Vixen needs you! We can't calm her down she's having a major panic attack!" she said fearfully hoping that Valefar would hurry.

"Shut up!" he yelled and felt his tail flick angrily behind him. I'm going to kill him...I might just end up killing everyone who's ever hurt us...he thought to himself. He wasn't one to kill anyone, but at this point he didn't care. All he ever wanted was to love someone who would love him back for who he really was. Someone who didn't care about his money, and that person was Vixen. All their lives they tried to be together and they were always torn apart when they got so close to being happy again. "I will only marry Vixen! If...If I can't have her, I don't want to have anyone else..." he stuttered before letting the tears fall to the floor. He hated crying, especially in front of everyone...his father hated him he was sure..but that was nothing new to him. Hearing Vivian, Valefar looked up with wide eyes. "Vixen!" he called out and pushed his father away as he ran out of there. Charlie soon got up and quickly went over to Setta to make sure she was okay.

Vivian quickly lead Valefar to Vixen who was trying to be comforted by Souls but was seeming to be in a bad panic and just continued to sob breathlessly. Her face was rather red and you could tell she was having trouble breathing. It seemed something really bad had happened in just that short amount of time... something that had scared her enough that she was trembling, crying and couldn't hardly breathe from the panic attack. |
"Vixen!" he gasped and was quickly at her side as he wrapped his arms around her. "There, there love...it's okay I'm right here." he said soothingly. His fingers gently wiped away her tears, hoping he'd be able to get her to relax. What had happened? I'm sure her father did something to her...why else would she be like this? he thought to himself and kissed her cheek softly. "Shh...relax love..it's going to be okay..." he whispered soothingly as he held her in her arms and cradled her lovingly. "You'll be okay...I promise." he commented and noticed her dress for the first time. It was beautiful and she looked gorgeous in it.

Vixen sobbed and berried her face in Valefar's chest crying harshly but seeming to calm a bit when she felt his arms around her. Nixy wasn't far away being helped to sit up as she rubbed her head but seemed to be fine. she said she was okay before moving over to Valefar and Vixen and looked at Valefar worriedly. "Is she okay? I tried to help but couldn't... these guys just kept hitting her over and over in the stomach saying something about her never having the child or something like that." she said softly and suddenly Vixen started to cry louder and seemed to be in even more pain.

Listening to Nixy, he frowned but glared at her when he noticed Vixen cry even more. Thanks a lot Nixy...she was just calming down and you had to talk and make worse again! he thought to himself and sighed softly."She'll be fine...let's not talk about what happened. Right now she needs comfort...not reminders." he muttered and looked at Vixen. "Vixen, relax love everything is going to be okay." he said soothingly as he began to wipe her tears away. "I love you so much Vixen...no matter what happens I will always love you." he whispered into her ear as he cradled her in his arms, lovingly and protectively.

Nixy shrunk some before slowly leaving to go and make sure that everyone else was okay. Vixen slowly calmed a bit but was still crying and refused to move from Valefar's arms. "Why don't you take her to your room? I think she needs rest right now." Vivian said softly to Valefar but would fallow so she could get the dress from Vixen who was wearing a slip that she could sleep in comfortably.

"Shhh, I'm right here love...I won't leave your side...ever." he whispered and looked at Vivian. "Yes, I think that would be the best thing to do right now." he agreed and gently gently carried Vixen to his room where he sat her on the bed and continued holding her. "Okay love, I'm going to let your mother help you into something comfortable. I am going to change for bed too." he said softly while wiping away her tears. "Please don't cry love." he added and kissed her cheek lovingly. "I love you." he whispered before pulling away and going off to the restroom to change into something comfortable for bed.

Vivian soon helped Vixen out of her dresses and then put her into her night gown before covering her up and leaving the room knowing Valefar would be back in there soon.

Valefar soon peaked inside and smiled softly when he saw Vixen there. Walking over to her, he lay beside her and pulled her into his loving arms. "You're safe now love. I'm right here to protect you." he whispered before stroking her cheek softly, just wanting her to be happy. "I love you." he whispered as he held her.

Vixen sniffled a bit before looking at Valefar and tried to give a soft smile. "I love you too." she whispered softly before curling closer to Valefar and you could still feel her body shaking.
Usha frowned and crossed her arms as she walked out of the room and headed to the garden not even saying a word to her husband but you could clearly tell she was ticked at him. ( sorry hope you don't mind having him fallow her) |
Valefar frowned and just held her. "Get some sleep..." he whispered. Talking wasn't the best thing to do. He knew that Vixen needed to rest and they would talk whenever she was ready. As long as she was happy...he was happy.
Cresil raised an eyebrow and followed his wife out to the garden. "Dearest are you okay?" he asked softly. Though, when she was silent like this...he knew it was best to give her some space. Still, he was curious as to why she was suddenly so quiet when she usually is talking most of the time. ((It's fine)) |
"No I'm not okay, I want our son to be happy no matter who he chooses to love, and I can tell he loves Vixen. Why can't you just be happy for him instead of trying to separate him from what he wants? You never listen to me about this you push it off while I have been telling you the same thing for years. This is why he ran away in the first place! Do you want our son to run away again just because you don't agree with who he loves?" Usha asked as she turned towards her husband and you could tell she was really upset about this since she honestly wanted whatever would make Valefar happy and if that was Vixen then she was happy to let him marry her.

Cresil sighed. "That's it?" he asked and shook his head. "I already told you, I'm never going to accept him marrying her! He should have married Setsudan instead...or anyone else of the demonic kingdom! I don't want my only son marrying an angelic being." he answered. "Tainted or not, she's still an angel Usha!" he hissed and crossed his arms across his chest. "If he really wants to run away he'll do it. Though he said he missed home didn't he? I don't think he'd want to leave home now that he's just getting used to it again." he muttered.

"Maybe you should get to know Vixen before you push her off as just another tainted... she's allot like her mother... and if I remember correctly when we were younger you have a thing for Vivian even knowing that she was a mixed child." Usha pointed out before shaking her head. "You can dislike it all you want but they were going to kill her... and they might have killed the only chance that we will ever have to have a grand child." she said bluntly having had talked to Sinz, Souls, and Vivian who all had healing powers and said that there was a chance there was something wrong with Vixen's stomach now.

"I had a crush on Vivian yes...but I didn't let the feeling develop into something more because I knew it was wrong." He explained and sighed. "I fell in love with you Usha, and I married you. Not because I had to, I did it because I wanted to." he added and looked away at her last comment. "If they were going to kill her they would have done that already don't you think Usha?" he asked. "Vivian isn't the only girl in the world...Valefar has plenty to chose from. I want Valefar to be happy, but I can't ever accept Vixen...I just can't..." he commented. Cresil didn't want to fight with Usha, it was a waste of time and gave him headaches whenever they fought. He loved her too much to fight with her anymore.

"It's not wrong for them to love each other... I can see the love that they have for each other, I can see the pain that it causes them both that so many people don't want them to be together. You married me because you truly fell in love with me, can't we just let Valefar marry whoever he truly falls in love with? Vixen has done nothing but try to please us ever since she first came here, even though it was clear she did not like us, and she tried even harder when they came back, doesn't that count for anything?" Usha asked just wishing that Cresil could see it how she did.

Cresil looked at her and gently stroke her cheek. "Dearest...like you said, she hated us and we hated her. Then you suddenly liked her and I think you only like her because she's your best friend's daughter." he started and played with a lock of Usha's white hair. "I do believe that Valefar should marry the one he truly loves...but I just wish he didn't love her. I don't like her Usha. I wish our son could have fallen for anyone else other than her....I don't think I can ever accept their love." he said and frowned. "I don't want to fight with you dearest..." he whispered as he looked at the flowers. "If I told you that they could get married...would you be happy my dear?" he asked suddenly. "If I allowed them to get married and told you I would never accept the marriage...would you be happy?" he asked.

"It's actually not sudden, I've had my good thoughts about Vixen ever since Eofe died and she was trying to help him cope. I don't expect you to like her, but could you at least stop trying to get people to kill her? I really am worried that if you continue this that our son will actually hate you for it... you don't spend any time with him after all and how he sees it is that he can never do anything right by you. We can't baby him anymore Cresil... we need to let him make his own decisitions and mistakes." Usha urged softly and in a caring tone. She then sighed and shook her head. "Don't ask me that, talk to Valefar, whatever makes him happy, I will be happy with." Usha said softly before giving a small smile and wrapped her arms around Cresil's.

"Valefar already hates me Usha...he hated me from the beginning and you know it." Cresil said and looked at Usha with a serious look on his face. "You don't spend time with him either Usha, so don't go telling me to spend time with him if you haven't either. Charlie is his only friend here and I don't see him wanting more, he never was one to go out looking for friends anyway." commented Cresil softly as he ran his fingers through Usha's white hair lovingly. "I'm not babying him...and no, I'm proud to see how he's grown. He still doesn't like to talk a lot it seems...but he's grown more mature it seems." explained Cresil quietly and chuckled. "I don't think me talking to him is a good idea Usha." he stated.

"Oh but I have started spending time with him and he doesn't hate you he was just upset. He was going to marry Setsudan just to make you happy, I don't think that's hate." Usha said softly before she sighed. "I mean actually talk to him, maybe appologize for your involvement in what happened today... he loves us but he would do anything for Vixen." she explained softly as she looked at Cresil lovingly.

"Usha...you make it sound like it's so easy." muttered Cresil before turning away from her. "He hates me and I know it...and even so, it doesn't bother me much." he started. "I will apologize when I have time... I have to go look at some papers now. Excuse me." he stated and left the garden to go to his study where he sat and thought about what Usha had said.
