Vixen sat up and looked at Valefar confused. "Why was Mela sleeping in Nero's room?" she asked curiously not know that Mela had been sleepwalking at all.
Mela smiled and lead Nero downstairs where breakfast was being sat out and sat down with him easily at the table where she fixed herself some food. |
"Hell if I know." answered Valefar with a shrug. "You don't need to be so concerned though it's not like they did anything love." he assured and waved a lazy hand at her. "Just relax okay?" he said and kissed her cheek. "Now then, I'm going to go eat breakfast, are you?" he asked her before nuzzling her cheek.
Nero followed her silently downstairs where he noticed everyone was eating and chatting happily before sitting down next to Mela and served himself some food, avoiding any eye contact. |
"Well hello Nero, when did you get back?" Usha asked with a smile as she watched the two sit and eat quietly. Mela smiled up at Usha and cresil before going back to eating seeming rather hungry again.
Vixen smiled and nodded before she got dressed then stood at the door. "Ready love?" she smiled easily to Valefar. |
Nero tensed up slightly before looking over at Usha. "Oh...I got back y-yesterday..." he answered and smiled shyly before poking at his food and eating quietly. "I...apologize if I worried you all.." he added quietly. He didn't mean to worry them..but he was sure that if he told them about it first, they wouldn't have let him go and he was sure Mela would burst into tears, something he couldn't stand seeing.
Valefar smiled and stood up before getting dressed and fixing his hair. "Yeah, I'm ready." he said and held her hand in his as he started to lead her down the stairs. Walking into the dining room, he took his seat and got himself some food before eating it quietly. |
"It's okay, we were all just worried that something had happened to you is all." Usha said softly and Cresil nodded before they went back to eating as did Mela who had smiled when she saw Vixen and Valefar walk in. "Good morning everyone." Vixen smiled easily before sitting beside Valefar and getting some food for herself and then looked over as Setta walked in with a cute little blonde haired boy fallowing her. Her son had gotten quite a bit bigger since the last time Nero was home the little boy didn't even recognize him as he stayed quietly close to his parents.

"Good Morning..." said Nero quietly as he continued to eat his food quietly. Looking over at Setta, he noticed her son had grown and smiled sadly as they just walked by him. He didn't blame the boy for not recognizing him...it was the normal thing to do when someone returns after three years. This family was so much more different then his own, he couldn't help but be envious or jealous of them all for being so happy now. Sure Valefar and Vixen didn't have such an easy life...but at least their parents didn't have them scrubbing floors every morning.

"hello Nero, it's been awhile." Setta smiled politely as she sat down and her son sat in the chair next to her quietly and started eating right away as food was placed in front of him.

Nero nodded at Setta and smiled softly. "Hello Setta, Hello Charlie." he said gently. "It has been a while hasn't it? I apologize for leaving so suddenly." he continued. Charlie grinned and shook his head. "You have nothing to apologize for, we're just happy to see you back here." answered Charlie kindly as he looked over at his son, then began to eat his food quietly.

"Dimitry, do you remember Nero? Cousin Mela's friend that used to live here?" Setta asked her son softly hoping that he did but felt that he wouldn't.

Dimitri continued to eat but stopped when his mother spoke to him. Looking over at Setta, he raised an eyebrow in confusion at the name she mentioned and shook his head. Seeing him shake his head, Nero frowned slightly but didn't let it bug him much. "It's okay Setta, it's been three years so it's expected that he won't remember me." Nero answered softly after finishing his food. Charlie looked at his son and then at Nero, "He'll get to know you though Nero...you will be staying right?" he asked. Nero grinned and nodded. "I'm staying Charlie, so I'm sure that Dimitri will get to know me overtime." he answered happily.

Setta smiled as did Mela who hugged Nero before finishing her food and standing. "Wanna go outside?" she smiled to Nero easily since there were guards posted everywhere outside now it was perfectly safe for them to hang out in the garden where they wouldn't be bothered and her pets could run and play.

Nero hugged Mela back and nodded at what she said and excused himself before standing and looking at Mela. "Let's go then." he said and shot her a big smile. Valefar glanced over at Nero and Mela before going back to eating quietly. To him, it was obvious that both Nero and Mela had a crush on each other if nothing more and he approved of it.

Mela smiled happily and took Nero's hand before leading him outside whistling as she did. As they walked outside her pets came running down the stairs and fallowed the two outside seeming to just want to play and have fun.

Once they were outside, Nero let out a breath he didn't even know he was holding in. He looked over at her pets and gently knelt down to pet Weasel softly. "Hello again Weasel, it's been a while hasn't it?" he said and chuckled. Once they were out, Valefar chuckled and looked at Vixen. "Mela seems to be very happy now that Nero has come back." he noted.

"Yes it seem our little Mela has a crush." Vixen grinned lightly and both Usha and Cresil nodded in agreement.
Weasel barked happily and was still a small pup but had gotten a bit bigger since Nero was last there. Mela smiled brightly as she watched her pets going up to Nero and rubbing against him all seeming to have missed him. |
"So I'm not the only one who noticed it eh?" answered Valefar before smirking and finishing his food. "Mela has a crush on Nero and it's obvious that he likes her too, so I'm curious to see how it turns out. I think they make a cute couple but that's just my opinion." he commented.
Nero chuckled and pet all her pets gently before looking at Mela and smirking. "Seems like you got competition for my attention Mela." he teased. He wondered what she'd do but didn't think too much of it and continued to pet all her pets gently, "I missed all of you too!" he said and laughed. |
Mela smiled brightly as she watched her pets play with Nero and laughed "I don't mind sharing for awhile." she smiled brightly before laughing as Duchess tackled Nero and started to lick his face happily.

Nero didn't have time to notice and fell back to the floor as Duchess began to lick his face happily. The piercings! he suddenly thought to himself and knew he'd have to clean them out later though. "Awww, I missed you too Duchess!" he commented and laughed before kissing the tip of her nose and petting her happily.

"Ah man that's gross." Mela laughed since she knew that would be a pain for Nero to clean but then saw Duchess get off and roll over on her back wanting her belly rubbed. Mela easily smiled and went over to rub her dogs belly as Snow, Mint and Weasel all attacked Nero playfully.

Nero's face was shiny with Duchess' slobber and he was sitting up but fell back onto his back when Snow, Mint, and Weasel tackled him. "Oof! Well hello there you three. I'm guessing you all missed me as I have missed you?" he asked and chuckled and scratched them each behind the ears. "Are you all going to lick me too?" he asked.

"Nope I think they want to play." Mela laughed some as she watched Weasel jumping on and off or Nero like he always did barking happily and just wanting to play.

"Ohhh, Okay. Well what are we going to play with? What toy should we play with?" he asked Weasel as he started to stand and dusted himself off. "Are we playing with a rope or a ball? Or what other toys would you all like to play with?" Nero asked them and smiled.

"Oh no... you shouldn't have asked." Mela laughed as Snow ran off and then came back with a four sided rope with one part longer so someone could hold onto it while the three tugged on it.

"What, why not?" Nero asked before looking at what Snow brought. "Oh, this...you want to play with this?" he asked and chuckled. "Well three against one isn't very fair you know, but let's play anyway. Everyone grab on and pull!" he said and grabbed onto the longer rope before pulling gently.

Mela smirked as she watched Nero and saw all three of her pets pulling back and growling which made her laugh since they all sounded visions when they really weren't at all.
