"Yeah...I guess they are safe." he answered and shrugged before starting to walk back inside the house. He wanted to make some JuJu berry tea and possibly read a book to relax. The castle was pretty quiet, everyone had broken into groups in a way. So he had a bunch of free time on his hands which he used by reading, and playing music.

Vixen sighed with a deep frown as she looked around at all the flowers before just looking down a bit and headed inside and to the library feeling a bit bothered by how things were going between her and Valefar... not that she would ever admit that she thought there was any problems between them.

Valefar was in the kitchen finishing up his JuJu berry tea when Eofe walked in and smiled. "Hello prince, were is Vixen?" she asked Valefar shrugged. "Vixen was in the garden a while ago, but I didn't see where she went since I was in here making myself some tea." he answered. Eofe frowned at this and shook her head. "This will not do, I need you and her to come to the library, there is something that I need to talk to you both about. Come, now." she ordered. Valefar wasn't one to take orders from anyone...but it was Eofe ordering him and he always listened to his mother. "Yes mother." he said and took his tea as he followed her up to the library.

Vixen was quietly looking for a book in the library before she sat down in the window seat that was in the back of the library and curled her legs under her as she tried to clear her mind of everything that was troubling her... even if it was really hard to do.

Valefar opened the door for Eofe and followed her inside the library before sitting at a table with her. "Where's Vixen?" she asked again. "Not in our room...I checked..." he said and looked over towards the back of the library only to see her sitting there. "Oh, there she is, how convenient." commented Valefar before looking at Eofe. "So mother, what did you want to tell us?" he asked her. Eofe looked over at Vixen and frowned, "Vixen dear come sit with us...I need to talk to both of you rather seriously." she said. Valefar blinked at his and sipped his tea.

Vixen looked up and slowly put a bookmark in her book and got up before heading over to the table and sat next to Valefar as she looked at Eofe curiously. "What is it Eofe?" she asked softly and curiously.

"Both of you are drifting apart." she said plainly. "Something is obviously bothering one of you and you don't want to tell the other person." she said and looked at both of them. Valefar put down his cup of coffee once she finished and sighed softly. "Well I have nothing bothering me at the moment. You know that if something is really bothering me, then I tend to tell anyone. I'll tell you or Vixen, or anyone that wants to listen." he answered. "What about you Vixen?" asked Eofe.

Vixen's face flushed pale as she heard Eofe and looked down at the book in her lap as she chewed on her lip a bit. "Well... I... I-it's nothing that is... really that bothersome I don't think... I mean we love each other I don't really think anything is wrong..." she said quietly not feeling very comfortable talking about it even though she knew it was a bit of a problem.

Hearing this, Valefar narrowed his eyes. "Liar, obviously something is bothering you. If nothing is bothering you, then look me in the eyes and seriously tell me nothing is bothering you at all and then maybe I'll believe you." he said. Efoe frowned and shook her head as she fixed her bonnet. "Vixen, you need to talk about what's troubling you, if you don't then they'll keep troubling you and I don't think you want that." she said softly.

Vixen looked up at Valefar and then to Eofe and frowned sadly before looking back at Valefar. "I'm sorry love... I... just didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to upset you... I've... just been feeling like we haven't been spending very much time together... I feel as though you've become rather distant... really ever since we came back here... but I didn't want to say anything because you seemed so happy to be back and I enjoyed seeing you happy... even if it meant that I wasn't." she said quietly as she felt like she was about to cry as she looked down hoping he wouldn't be too upset that she hadn't told him all of this before. Sure she had some really good times here but allot of the time she just kinda felt like she was being ignored... he seemed to always be doing something else or wasn't feeling up to doing stuff with her... and that really bothered her.

Drinking his tea, Valefar choked slightly as he heard her. "Since we came back?!" he repeated and coughed slightly before looking at Eofe. "Can you leave us alone please?" he asked her softly. Eofe frowned and nodded. "I expect the both of you to remain open to one another okay? In a marriage, you must keep nothing from your partner." she explained and excused herself. Looking at Vixen, Valefar frowned and lifted her chin up with two fingers as he looked at her lovingly. "Love...you really should have told me all that was bothering you since day one!" he said a little upset. "I want you to be happy you know, and if I can't even make you happy then I'm not a good husband." he started and sighed. "I love playing the Violin most of the day. I love shutting the world out and reading all day... I'm sorry if you don't like it but I'm not going to stop just because you want me to stop. If you want to spend time with me, all you need to do is ask me." he continued and kissed her softly. "I love you Vixen, I want you to be happy and feel comfortable here. If there's something that is making you uncomfortable you need to tell me though, I can't read minds." he stated. "How am I supposed to make you happy if you don't tell me what makes you sad?" he asked her.

Vixen felt her eyes watering a bit as she looked at Valefar softly with a sad frown. "I'm so sorry Valefar... I just... I didn't know how to say it without upsetting you... the last time I told you that I thought you might be distancing yourself you got really upset... I just... I miss walking with you and just relaxing without really doing much of anything... I love listening to you play the violin and curling up with you and a book in bed... but I also miss doing things and looking at different places..." she explained softly trying to keep from choking on her own words or crying as she spoke and you could tell really all she wanted was for them both to be happy together... to do interesting things that they both liked and could share... was that so wrong to want?

Valefar sighed and let go of her face before looking at his tea and finishing it. "Vixen, don't be sorry. You have nothing to apologize for. I am the one who's sorry...sorry for apparently neglecting you all this this time." he said and stared at his empty teacup. "From now on, we'll do whatever you want. So tell me Vixen, what do you want to do right now?" Valefar asked as he stood up and carried his empty teacup with him as he stared at the various books which were organized.

"Valefar... no that's the thing... I want to do things that we both like to do and can both enjoy doing together... I don't want to have you do something just because I want to do it and not even consider if you will enjoy it or not... that's just not me... I would love to go walking, but only if you want to as well." Vixen explained softly as she slowly stood and walked over to Valefar and carefully hugged him being careful of the cup he was holding so he wouldn't drop it.

"You don't want me doing things that make you happy even though I'm not? Hmm...but you've been doing that exacting thing since day one apparently." he said and shrugged. "You say it's not you...but it seemed to be you then...but enough, I don't want to fight with you love. Tell me, where do you want to walk?" he asked and hugged her back softly while being careful not to drop the cup he was holding.

"No... I want to be happy but I want to do things that will make us both happy... because I'm not happy if you're not..." Vixen said softly as she leaned back to look up at Valefar with soft eyes then thought some. "Where's your favorite place to walk around here?" she asked softly and honestly wanted to know.

"Well, Eofe and I always used to go out for walks through the kingdom and get some shopping done. It's nice to walk around and just look around at the things. We would always buy some sweets before we came back home...it was nice. We don't do that anymore though." Valefar answered. "Around the castle I like to sit and relax in the garden or the lake...usually with Charlie and we'd just stare at the sky for hours before we went to bed." he said a little sad that he didn't do any of that anymore.

"Well... why don't we go walking around the kingdom? You know I haven't seen much of it... and you know Charlie's just been busy with Setta and their little boy, he can be a handful sometimes ya know?' Vixen said softly before kissing Valefar's cheek softly. "I'm sorry I never told you this stuff before love." she said softly and sadly.

"No...actually I don't know, I'm no babysitter." he answered and sighed at her last comment. "Let's get going...and don't worry about it Vixen, really." he answered and led her out of the library and down to the kitchen were he placed the cup in the sink and then walked out of the castle with her. "The kingdom is rather nice, especially when it's quiet like right now." he started and looked around.

"Well no but I'm sure you've seen Setta and Charlie chasing him around the castle when it's bath time." Vixen smirked then fallowed Valefar and took his hand softly as they walked outside and smiled at him lovingly hoping that this might help them both loosen up and get closer again.

Valefar laughed and nodded. "Kids always hate bath time. I'm sure I hated bath time too..." he said and chuckled as he happily held Vixen's hand and walked peacefully with her. "Love, do you think Nero and our little Mela are still napping together?" he asked and smirked. "They looked really adorable you know." he added and kissed Vixen's cheek softly.
