Nero stared at the box and carefully took it in his hands before looking at everyone and slowly opening up his gift. Nero wasn't used to getting gifts, so this was really quite a surprise for him. Opening his gift, the smile on his face told everyone that he loved it. Piercings! he thought to himself as he looked at them and examined them before looking at Vixen. "Thank-you...very much." he said and looked at his gift. Eofe had already opened up her box of chocolates and had begun eating them quiet happily as she watched Nero stand. "Excuse me...and thank-you again." he said before taking his gift and leaving upstairs to his room.

Vixen smiled easily with a nod before sitting down next to Mela and opening the box of apples and getting her out one along with getting herself one and they both started munching on them easily and happily.

"Would you like one?" offered Eofe. Valefar shook his head and fixed her hair with a smile. "I never had a sweet tooth mother, sweets make me sick." he reminded and chuckled, "Thank-you for the offer though." he answered. Eofe chuckled and nodded, "That's true, I had forgotten." she answered. Nero carefully removed, disinfected and cleaned his piercings before butting them away in a small leather box before taking out the new ones that he had been given before carefully disinfecting them just in case, then carefully began to put them on.

"Well that's not completely true love, you love Juju Berry Pie along with some cookies that I've made before." Vixen smirked before going back to the candy and nut covered apples with Mela and then offered some to Valefar and Eofe wondering if they would want to try them.

Valefar turned to face Vixen and chuckled. "Well yes, I suppose that there are few exceptions." he answered and took an apple before eating it in one bite and swallowing it happily. Eofe smiled and thanked Vixen as she took one and began to eat it carefully. Nero looked at himself in the mirror and grinned once all the piercings were on. "Looks really nice..." he said to himself and began to brush his hair, leaving it down.

"So Eofe do you like the apple?" Vixen asked with a smile as she ate and soon saw her mother and sister come in and smiled at them easily.
(Ooh I had a slight idea! Since the kingdoms are at war what is Vixen's half brother and sister show up nearly dead and like pass out right in front of the gates only for the guards to nearly attack them?) |
Eofe nodded and ate her own chocolates happily. Valefar fixed Eofe's bonnet, making sure her ears remained hidden and sat beside her, playing with the tips of his nails. Nero looked at himself in the mirror carefully before walking out of his room and down the stairs.

(like since Vixen's fathers kingdom is at war with Valefar's kingdom Vixen's half brother and sister want to get away so they leave their kingdom but sometime along the way get majorly hurt and collapse right in front of the gates to the castle where the guards thought they were intruders since it was night time and almost kill them until they see them collapse and then go to talk to the king and queen about it or something?)

As Vixen Valefar and the others were in the dining room eating a guard came running in and over to where the king and queen were speaking quickly to them. "You're highness'! There are two angels out in front of the gates but they have appeared to have collapsed what shall we do with them?" the guard asked kurtly. |
Valefar looked up when the guard came rushing in. His father looked at the guard then at Usha before sighing. "Bring them in then. No point in leaving them outside. Have them chained though...can't be too careful." he answered. Usha nodded and put on a serious face. "I agree. For all we know, it could be a trap of some sort." she said and looked over at Valefar who nodded in approval at what she said. Nero raised a pierced eyebrow but said nothing as he sat at an empty seat in silence.

Mela and Vixen listened to what was going on and Vixen quietly got up and looked out of the kitchen as the guards left and then as soon as the door open you could hear her running over to the door and then the chains falling to the floor as she had the guards unlock the chains. She had tears running down her cheeks as she saw how bad the two looked and held her younger sister close and looked at her brother who was leaned against the wall but was slightly conscious and smiled weakly at Vixen.

(Valefar is probably going to be ticked that she had the chains removed, but whatever..Valefar gets ticked off with everything. Kinda like me...lol)
Valefar looked over at this and rolled his eyes. He didn't know what Vixen was crying about but didn't bother to find out. Eofe excused herself and Valefar stood up, "I'll come with you, I don't need to or want to be here right now anyway." he muttered and happily followed Eofe back to her room. Nero watched Valefar leave and looked over at Mela before peaking over at the two angels Vixen was hugging. Usha stared at Vixen and frowned. "Vixen why are you crying? Do you know these angels?" she asked. |
"I-I'm sorry I just haven't seen either of them in so long... this is my half sister and half brother... I haven't seen them since before I first came here." Vixen said softly as the girl she was hugging looked up and seemed rather scared as she stayed close to Vixen but just seemed really unsure about being there. Slowly Vixen helped the girl stand and asked one of the guards to help the male up as she looked over to Usha and Cresil. "Is it okay if I take them each to two of the guest rooms?" she asked softly as she supported the girl that was leaned against her that had pure white hair and brilliant blue eyes. The tall male that was seemingly worse off then the girl had bright blonde hair and teal eyes but still looked very much like the female that was shorter then Vixen by about half a foot.

Usha frowned and sighed. Sure the castle was huge...but it wasn't a hotel. "Yes dear, that's fine. Guards follow Vixen up and make sure these two are comfortable here." she ordered as she ran a hand through her hair, loving the look of fear in the girl's eyes. "I'll be right back mother." Said Valefar before walking to his room and grabbing his Violin case, pencil and notebook then walked back to Eofe's room and sat on the floor near the door. "Are you okay Valefar?" asked Eofe. Valefar shrugged. "It doesn't matter." he muttered as he went over his notes and played each one carefully before carefully playing a song on his Violin. |
"Thank you." Vixen said softly before helping her sister up to a room then helped her brother over to a room. She easily healed them both mostly and then spoke to her brother softly about what was going on and told him about what all had happened sense they last met and that she would help them find a home but she couldn't promise anything... she knew she had already upset Valefar... but what was the to do? Push two of the only five people from her actual orriginal family away? She loved her Brother and sister... she would do anything to help them and she intended to help them find a home the next day so they wouldn't bother the King, Queen or Valefar.
"It isn't nothing... is this about Vixen's siblings showing up?" Eofe asked softly before smiling as she listened to Valefar play. "That is beautiful my Prince." she smiled softly and kindly. |
Valefar abruptly stopped playing and sighed, rather annoyed. "Mother just forget it okay? I get mad over stupid reasons I know, you don't have to throw it back in my face." he muttered and fixed some notes on his paper. "It was a terrible song...it's still in the works...I have to find the right flow. Have to find the right notes to get the perfect sound...you of all people know how much of a perfectionist I am." he answered and tested out some notes before writing again.

"No it's quite understandable, they showed up without warning, she didn't even pause to let anyone talk it ove, but also you have to understand that her reaction is very understandable as well. How many years has it been since she has seen her siblings? Sure she sends them letters but that might be why they're in such bad shape now. So... just try not to give her too much of a hard time." Eofe pointed out softly and hoped not to upset Valefar even more.
Vixen sighed as she watched her brother fall asleep and then checked on her sister once more before heading to hers and Valefar's room and sat down on the bed just staring off for a long while before putting her head down in her hands and started to tremble a little but it was uncertain if she was crying or if she was nervous or something. |
"Mother...!" Valefar whined and sighed as he listened to Eofe talk. "Yes, okay yeah that's terrible. Okay she hasn't seen them in forever it seems and that's terrible yes, but at least she has siblings mother. At least she can talk to them though letters and stuff...I have no one...well, except Charlie but he's not even my brother." he started and grabbed his things before standing. "I'm doing my best to take everyone into consideration. What about me though? I have to think about myself too, does anyone else think about me? It doesn't seem like it." he said and sighed. "I have to go mother...I'm glad you enjoyed your chocolates, don't eat them all too fast, I dont' want you getting sick, excuse me." Valefar stated before walking out of Eofe's room and walking out to the garden where he sat on the swing and looked over his notes.

"Of course people think about you Valefar, I think about you and I know Vixen does." Eofe said then sighed before bidding him good night. then started to read for awhile.
Vixen sighed as she quietly walked down the stairs and avoided being seen until she stepped outside and looked over to Valefar quietly and unsure. She almost seemed bewildered and her eyes seemed rather puffy from apparently crying... but she didn't look happy at all... in fact she looked very distressed. |
It was slightly hard to see his notes since it was getting dark outside, but it didn't matter to him...at least he was alone. Looking up, he noticed Vixen and looked back at his notes, "Hello...why aren't you with your siblings?" he asked her without looking up from his notes as he tested the song so far and nodded in approval, making minor adjustments. "I would imagine you'd be with them and...well I don't know...catch up on old times I guess?" he suggested and shrugged as he put away his things and stared at his nails. "I wouldn't know what siblings do...not tat it matters...so what brings you here?" he asked, not even throwing a glance at her.

Vixen frowned and her eyes watered even more as she stared down and was silent for a long moment. "I... I'm sorry Valefar... I... wasn't expecting them to come... and.... to be honest.... I didn't really want them to... I love them both.... but they are not safe here.... but... I can't send them away..." she said softly before slowly moving over and sitting next to him before just staring down at her leg but you could clearly see the upset look on her face. "My father.... he's trying to kill everyone who has been in contact with me recently... he... he killed Kaji... and his wife told him what had happened... Valefar... he's going to try and come after everyone here.... everyone that Mela is friends with... you... your parents... especially me, Vivian and Nixy... Valefar... I'm... I'm really scared... as soon as I saw them... I was terrified." she said and you could hear a sob in her voice but the shade was keeping you from seeing the tears that were hitting her skirt or the extremely pained look that was on her face.

"Wait...so is Unmei still alive? I hate your father...he killed Kaji but not Unmei?" Valefar started with wide eyes before smirking. "Well then...let's let him do what he wants...but one thing is certain, he isn't going to hurt our little Mela. He can go ahead and hurt me all he want but he isn't putting a finger on Mela because if he does, he'll be the fist I kill. I'm not afraid to kill him Vixen, I don't care if he's your father. If he does anything to Mela he's dead, not thinking twice about it. If he things that he's going to win this war he's wrong, everyone know angels are inferior to us demons, it's natural for them to be weaker. They just think that they're stronger because of a 'god' they trust in that doesn't even exist." explained Valefar before laughing. "You need not worry Vixen, if you came here to warn me about this...I thank-you. Everything is going to be okay I promise. If anyone has to die from this kingdom it will be me, don't even start objecting to it. I'll do my best to stay alive, but if I die, I die." he stated seriously.
