"Soon," Carlos said. "We have to make a few hops tonight, and we'll make the rest of the trip tomorrow." He grinned a bit. "I've got it all planned out, so it's cool. We just need to wake Kitty. I'd send you to go jump on her, but it's probably a bad idea."

Leila snorted. "Probably," she agreed. "You're kind of more durable than I am, so have fun!" She grinned innocently.

"I'm not doing it," Carlos replied, holding up his hands in defense. "She'd take my face off before she'd even realize she was awake."

"So go get your uncle to do it," Leila said with a shrug. "Katherine doesn't like to be woken up, I remember. I rather like my skin intact."

Carlos thought for a moment, then grinned a bit.

"Take her some breakfast," he suggested. "That might work."

"Alright. I'll try it. But I expect you to come to my rescue if I need it." Leila grinned at him briefly and went to go get Katherine's favorite cup.

"Will do," Carlos said, giving a mock-salute. He gestured to the storage cooler. "I have no idea if she has a favorite type or not, but it's all in there."

Leila made a face and shoved the cup at him. "You do it, that's just too icky for me."

Carlos rolled his eyes a bit, but took the glass and went to fill it.

"Let's see... Kitty's old enough to know how they all taste... She doesn't like AB-positive for breakfast, I don't think..." After a moment, he shrugged. "O-negative it is." He filled the glass and went back to Leila. "Here it is. Want me to carry it too?"

"Sure. I'll take it to her once we're in her room." Leila led the way upstairs and over to Katherine's room, peeking in briefly.

Carlos just followed her. As they got closer to Katherine's room, he wrinkled his nose.

"She reeks of the pack," he muttered.

Leila just snorted. She couldn't smell it, so she didn't care. She took the glass and entered Katherine's room, flipping on the light.

"Hey, Katherine, time to get up," she said quietly. "Come on. I've got breakfast for you."

Katherine hissed slightly when the light flipped on and she burrowed under her blanket again, pulling her pillow over her head. She glared out from under it.

Carlos couldn't help but snicker a bit at that.

Leila shook her head, apparently immune. "Nope. Too bad. Come on, get up. Carlos says we need to get going soon, and you're going to be way more grumpy if you have to skip breakfast before we leave."

"It's early," Katherine grumbled from under the pillow. "Why are we getting up so early?"

"It's not early. Carlos is already up. And he says we need to leave soon." She cautiously reached over to prod Katherine. "Now get up. I've got your breakfast already."

Katherine squirmed a bit to get away from the prodding. She was awake by now, at least enough so not to lash out at anyone. She paused when Leila's words sank in, and she sat up. "You brought me breakfast? Really?"

"I did. I made Carlos get it though." Leila set the cup down where Katherine could see it. "See?"

Katherine took a couple of shallow breaths to get the scent of what was in the cup, and then reached out to take it.

"Mmm, O-negtive," she commented, getting out of bed. "I prefer positive, but this is good."

"Picky picky, Kitty," Carlos teased.

"Out of my room, Carlos," Katherine replied evenly.

Leila rolled her eyes and shooed Carlos out of the room, absently starting to make sure all her things were still packed.

"He said something about the first flight out being soon, and then hopping over to Ireland after that."

Katherine nodded as she sipped at breakfast.

"Sounds about right for him," she said. "It was easier in my day for nightwalkers to travel, so I have to give him kudos for being able to arrange what he needs nowadays." She waved a hand to her suitcase. "I just need to throw the last of my things in there. It was too late to do it before I bedded down for the day."

Leila nodded. "Well, you've got some time. I don't know when exactly we're leaving, but we're not going anywhere until we're all ready to leave."

"Which will be fairly soon, I imagine," Katherine replied. She downed the rest of her breakfast and set the glass aside. "It was late when I finally got to bed, I haven't spent such a long night out in a while."

Leila snickered. "You had too much fun," she teased, grinning. "We should probably tell your uncle we're leaving."

"I did have a lot of fun," Katherine admitted. "The pack took down a pair of deer." She smiled sheepishly. "As the pack belongs to Uncle and I belong to Uncle, essentially, I therefore belong to the pack and got to join in the hunting. I'm not all that fond of the taste of deer, but once in a while won't hurt." Getting up, she stretched and started to change. She'd changed in front of Leila before; she was from a time where another being seen naked by another woman wasn't taboo. Of course, it had taken Leila some time to get used to it, but Katherine wasn't uncomfortable with it.
