"It's fine maybe reading about history will trigger some of you memories.." Lucca said looking at Damon as he continued eating his mind straying a bit. He had off tomorrow maybe he could personally help Damon then. He debated the best way to go about asking Damon if he wanted help without seeming insulting.

Damon instantly felt better. He knew reading history was helpful, but not to his memories. He didn't need help with that. It would come back to him when it comes. He wasn't going to try to force it. He soon finished eating and pushed his plate away.

Lucca looked up as he heard Damon move his plate, "All done?" he asked smiling, "Oh um by the way I have off tomorrow so if you want any help just you know let me know..." Lucca said shrugging as he made the offer.

Damon nodded. "I would like your help. It would be greatly apprechiated." He told him. He could use all the help he could get to figure things out, after all.

Lucca grinned, "Yeah sure no problem..." He said happily as he began to clear the plates, "Do you want any dessert?" He asked as he looked over his shoulder at Damon.

Damon thought about it before nodding. "That sounds good to me.. is there anything I can do to help?" He asked, wanting to be helpful. He wanted to repay Lucca's kindness.

Lucca paused looking at him, "Have you ever cooked before Damon?" He asked chuckling a bit, "But sure help would be great..." He said smiling, "What would you like?"

Damon shook his head. "No.. I've never cooked before. But how hard can it be?" He asked, not really needing an answer. "It doesn't matter what we make." He added.

Lucca tried, failing a bit, to cover his smirk, "Right..yeah no it's not too hard..." He said as he thought for a moment on what to make. He grinned as he pulled out brownie mix, "But still lets start simple anyway...you know just in case..." He said as he placed the mix box down looking at Damon.

"That's fine." Damon said. He picked up the box and looked at it for a moment before reading the instructions. "This doesn't sound to hard." He stated.

"Okay then lets get started..." He said as he got out the materials that they needed and placed them around the kitchen as he began to explain to Damon how to make it. Once he finished he preheated the oven and sat back waiting and watching.

He listened to Lucca as he explained how to do it. It defintitely sounded easy enough. He followed the instructions, mixing the ingrediennts together and pouring it into a pan.

Damon watched nodding his head in approval, "Good job..well we will have to see and taste once it comes out..."Lucca said as he set the timer placing the pan in the oven.

"I hope it turns out alrightt." Damon said. He watched Lucca put it in the oven. "What do we do while we wait?" He asked, not knowing what to do.

"Uh...i don't know we could play a game or talk i guess..." He offered looking at him shrugging, "If you want to that is...other wise we would just end up here twiddling our thumbs..." He said frowning unsure. He didn't really know Damon that well after all.

"What kind of game?" Damon asked, curious. He would be very interested to play a game. If he knew how to, og course. But then again, Lucca could explain it to him.

"Uh hold on.." He said as he wandered over to where he kept his games and pulled out one after thinking for a moment, "Ever play Jenga?" He asked smiling a bit as he held up the game. It was a fairly simple game so even if he never played it wouldn't be too hard for him to learn.

He thought for a moment before shaking his head. "No.. I don't think I have anyway. How do you play?" he asked, curious. He knew the games here would be different than back home. But he hoped that they were at least similar.

Lucca grinned a bit as he went to the game cabinet and pulled out Jenga. He pulled it out of the box and began to explain how to play the game. Pausing every now and then to make sure that Damon was following along and understood. "So the loser is the person who makes the tower fall...make sense?"

Damon watched as Lucca went and got the game. He was silent as the other explained the game to him. It seemed simple enough. "Yeah. That makes sense." he told him. This game seemed easy. He was sure he would win.

Lucca grinned as he set up the game with ease. "Okay good..." He said once it was done, "I'll go first okay?" He said as he studied the tower for a moment before finally taking a piece. Grinning as the tower remained steady as he placed the piece back on the top.

Damon watched as Lucca made his move. He spent some time studying the pieces before carefully making his own move. When the tower didn't fall, he grinned and placed the piece on top.

"Nice move..." Lucca said grinning as he made his next move holding his breath as it wiggled for a bit but in the end it stood still. He smiled placing it down.

Damon smiled at the compliment as he watched Lucca make his next move. He examined the game, thinking about what move he should make. When he did make his move, the tower fell. So did his face, leaving him upset.

Lucca restrained from making a fist pump when he saw Damon's face fall, "Hey...don't get upset I've been playing for years..." he said looking worriedly at Damon his own face twisting into a frown
