Michael watched her stir. He had no idea what was troubling her. He decided he'd investigate the lantern until she awoke, walking over to it he picked it up. Nothing happened which was strange. He held it up and looked inside of the lantern, then he understood. It was simply a magical chest to hold souls and use when necessary. He looked back at the princess and was surprised when nothing ominous or horrible happened. Maybe today would be normal.

Aiko slowly awoke as she realized that the sun was trickling into her room. Streching and lifting her head, she blushed seeing Michael up, and not clothed. Remembering the previous day, she reminded herself that she had already seen everything. That didn't seem to stop her from blushing. "Good morning." she said in her husky morning voice as she ran a hand through her long black hair and gave the Hatter a soft smile. "Did you sleep alright?"

"Yes i did. thank you" He smiled softly. He hugged her and gather up her clothes for her. "here. we might want to get dressed and address the troops and see whats going on. For all we know War could've freaked out and started bombing people" Michael laughed. Once they were dressed he followed her out of her room.

Aiko smiled as she stood and embraced Michael. His arms around her were comforting, and his scent always filled her nose with wonderful spice. Taking her clothes from him, she pulled on the short kimono and then brushed her hair while trying not to laugh too much. "I hope War didn't go that far." she said lightly and then walked out of the room with him. Heading out to the courtyard, she smiled seeing their reinforcements and her own soldiers. Looking out over the wall and towards the town she knew that any time now the enemy would attack, but they were ready. A messenger ran up and bowed. Meeting the queen's eyes he looked shocked as her eyes were electric colored turquise at this point. "Your uncle wants you in the strategy room, the enemy is on the move." he said and then the female looked up at her guard and smiled. "Let's get going then."

Michael followed his queen. His mind racing with a thousand thoughts a second. The lantern hung on its chain from his shoulder. Its low green flame burning softly inside it. He held Angi-Kat as well in his other hand and he asked it. Angi. I want to connect you to the lantern, that way I can use you both as weapons. There was a silence in his mind as the two sat there. Fine. the lantern must have known for once he looked down they were conjoined, Angi-Kat's shaft was now only about 2 feet long and the rest of the handle was made of chain. "Well now I have a new weapon" Michael muttered quietly to himself

Aiko glanced back a Micheal and raised a questioning eyebrow as he had a new weapon in his hand. Shaking her head she decided to let the question go. Smiling at her uncle and aunt the two looked up at her with smiling faces. "The war is soon going to start. We have everything ready, but we found a new bunch of mutants they have with them. " her uncle announced and pulled up holograms of several intresting looking people. "They have screams now, as we do. They also have water wielding mutants and teleporters. But only three, so we still have the air advantage and with earth and fire bending mutants we should still have the upper hand... But these screams, we need to take them out first."

"Death and I can just send Grim. She has a long range sniper rifle and a sound surpresser. So they won't hear it coming. Grim is a little girl so no one will suspect anything. Or I can go in." Conquest taught Michael how to fight of mutliple people at one time once. "Or grim and I can go. It can shoot the mutants and I can defend it." Michael offered. Knowing it would be good practice for the new pair he had.

Yuki smiled and nodded. "Aiko got a very good sniper rifle from me a few years ago with a sound suppressor. Grim has good tastes." He said lightly and then Queen grinned and chuckled. "So if Grim and I take up areas to smile them off while Michael takes them on the ground, we can pick them off before the majority of their forces reach us." She said and her mutant aunt nodded. "I find this the most logical solution, as long as you're sure you will make it back, Aiko." She said and the young woman grinned. "I will be fine aunt Zeelith." She said lightly and looked to her guard. "Sound like a party?" She said sarcastically with a smirk.

Checking his handgun Michael looked at Grim who held a HUGE sniper rifle, capable of dropping anyone within 1000 meters. The gun was too big for her but Grim cared not. "Shall we" Grim knew of every organic mass in the world. Michael had a strange view on war and conflict on death. Some people, maybe even the queen looks at it like its a foreigner, something not native to their lives, an intruder. But to Michael, Death, War, Grim and so on, conflict was necessary, it allows humans to have an outlet for natural problems. The only reason someone dies is because one has an edge over the other. And in this case, the Queen had numerous advantages at her disposal.
