General background:
Aiko was born into the royal family of the land. Raised as the princess she was, the female soon developed the powers that ran threw her family. Her brothers went to war, but none came back, leaving her as the heir to the throne. Her father died after making her queen, and her mother over sees her. Being revered and loved by her people, Aiko does her best to be professional but caring to the people.

General Background: Michael aka "Hatter" because of his apperance and particular dress apperael. Michael has stayed in the lower end of the city seeing as he came from a more poor household, he is the lead guitarist in his band "Weakened Spirits", his powers developed early and he took to the band, and the crowd, his powers aided him in playing. He can be seen with his scythe and/or guitar

Aiko was looking out the window of her family's limo as she and her mother were returning from a play in the theater. Her mother was chatting her ear off as the raven haired female looked out at the harsh snowing conditions. These kind of days made her wish to stop feeling so agrivated, but with her mother pushing her and bossing her around, her weather powers were reacting to her emotions. Suddenly she saw something different in the snow bank. Shocked as she realized it was blood, and a body, she called for the car to stop and be pulled over. Jumping out of the car in her fine theater dress made her mother yell, but the young female ignored her. Hurring over to the dark male, she put her fingers felt for a pulse, and feeling one, she quickly had the driver help her lift the poor man into the limo. Moving to be seated next to the man, she wrapped the blanket she had had on her lap around the man and began to look over his wounds. "Aiko! What are you doing?!" her mother demanded. "Mother he's dying! As the queen of this land I must help him!" Aiko snapped back and then looked down at the odd male. "Who are you?" she whispered to herself in wonder as she looked at his wounds.

"where is he..." Michael looked around feeling the warmth of the limo. "where is he?" He looked at the two, and took in focus on the two. He noticed they were both very well dressed compared to what he was used too, gathering that he was in a limo with two rich people he sat up, his spine and neck cracking as he stretched and got up. "You asked my name? It's Michael, but you can call me Hatter, everyone does" He said as he looked around trying to find his scythe or his guitar. Seeing as he needed that for the bands show coming up in a few days. "YOu know who I am, now may I ask who you two are and why you picked me up?"

Aiko's mother nearly fainted hearing the nasty crack that crawled up from the man's spine to his neck. Aiko on the other hand just merely watched the man as he told her his name. Michael, or Hatter, which she didn't quite understand the second name, but that didn't matter. Seeming as the man didn't realize who's presence he was in, Aiko sighed softly. "I'm Queen Aiko, and this is my mother." she said smoothly, her teal eyes taking in the odd man's appearence. The answer to the other question for her was quite simple. "You were laying in a snow bank and would have died had I not pulled you inside the limo. As a person in my land, I must take care of you in your time of need." the young queen said smoothly. "Now who is this 'he' you were mumbling about? Is this man the one who hurt you?" she asked and then seeing the terrible wounds bleeding more, she reached out and put a hand on his chest. "Lay back down, you are causing your wounds to bleed more." she commanded.

"He that i speak of is Angi-Kat, he is my guardian." He said looking around for his hat which had fallen on the floor of the limo. "at least i grabbed my hat, now where is my.......... shit." He cursed as he realized that his assailant has stolen his guitar, his prized possesion, the guitar he worked for 2 years to pay for was stolen for. "Well thank you my Queen for rescuing me, all though I'm sure I could've taken care of myself." he tried to sit up again but his body protested. "Just take me back to the slums, I'll make my way back to my house from there" Michael said, realizing he gave away the fact he had no way of repaying her for her aid.

Aiko was shocked as she heard the thank you from the man. It was a bit rude, but she decided that it was something she would take as a compliment. Watching the man cringe in pain, she moved to push him down with two hands each on his shoulders. Trying not to hurt him, but also trying to keep him from hurting himself the female looked into his eyes. "You won't make it through the night with wounds like these... I will take you to my personal docotor so you may live through this. You cannot change my mind, for I will not let you suffer like this." she said firmly, hoping he wouldn't fight her anymore.

"But i have no money to pay for this aid. I can't even find my guitar i worked for 2 years to get" He said forcing back. I could just drain her and get my strength back but the mother would see and then everything would go sour. Michael thought to himself as he worried they would expect payment or something.

Aiko looked at the man and shoo her head. "Your payment will not be in money. And I will have some of my people search for your guitar." the female said smoothly. Feeling him resist her pushing, her teal eyes narrowed into a glare. "Unless you want to loose your life I suggest you stop fighting me and lay down, Mr. Michael." Aiko said smoothly, glancing to her mother who was using her fan to cool herself off from the shock of this whole ordeal. This man was definitely odd looking, but to Aiko a person is a person. And she would treat them with kindness and respect, even if it ment she had to threaten him a bit to make him go to the doctor so she could save his life.

"Well tell them if they find a black scythe, don't touch it" He said submitting and finally laying back down, he knew once he felt better he needed to summon Angi-Kat to him so his assailant wouldn't take it. And if they never found his guitar he could at least transform Angi-Kat into his guitar for the time being, but Michael preferred to have his weapon and guitar separate. "And there is no need for hostility my queen, I'm going to be compliant" Michael looked out the window and was confused "where are we going anyway?"

Aiko was surprised as the Hatter spoke of a dark scythe and frowned. Why would the man talk about such a weapon? Was he a samurai that she hadn't heard about? Any warrior was usually accounted for, but the male didn't look like any warrior she knew of. Sitting back against the seat once again, the raven haired female then sighed hearing him. "I apologize for having to be threatening towards you, but some people never agree unless threatened." she explained softly before reaching over and putting a hand on her mother, to calm the elderly woman down. "To the palace of course. My doctor lives on the grounds, so he shall meet us when we arrive." she said smoothly, looking out the window.

I will be so out of place at the palace... Not like i don't already look like a commoner, but a poor one at that Michael thought to himself. "Are you going to be okay?" He dirtected his question towards Aiko's mother. He knew full well he could calm down them if he needed too, but what he could really go for was some food and somewhere to sleep of his pains. Suddenly his phone began to ring "one moment" he pulled up his phone and spoke very fast english to his other band mates. Wonder if they speak English.

Aiko looked at her mother as she was spoken to, but the proud elderly woman merely nodded. In her mother's view, their blood shouldn't even be in the same place as peasants. Aiko on the other hand would give everything to work with her people and help them as much as she could. Looking at the hatter, she raised an eyebrow as he pulled out his phone. Not saying anything as he spoke in swift English to someone, she could only block out the words. Being in love with languages and different histories, she knew English, French, Spanish, Chinese, and she was currently studying Korean. Seeing that they were getting closer to the palace, the woman smiled slightly. She had already texted her doctor to be ready, so all he had to do was treat the poor Hatter.

"Yes yes. I understand" he spoke quickly in English to the man on the other end. "YES I know we play sunday. Yes I know i need to be there. I'll be there" He said and hung up the phone looking a bit worried. He began to speak the language he was greeted in Japanese. "So small problem, i need to have my guitar sunday and I have a gig here" He showed Akito on his phone where he would be playing.

Aiko couldn't help but over here the Hatter as he spoke his last English sentences a bit louder and firmer. Once he finished speaking on the phone, she reached out to see the phone, and then nodded. "The doctor is the best in my land, so you should be able to play." she said smoothly, and inside she wanted to hear him and his band. She loved all kinds of music, and rock was one of her favorites. They then stopped at the gates of the palace and the gate guards let them in. Once parked, the mother was helped out by her personal servant, who was older then herself. Aiko then was helped out by the butler, and she motioned for the servants to help Hatter onto a strecher, and then they all headed to the doctor's office, except Aiko's mother. She was going to lay down.

"I would prefer to walk, I'm not that injured" Hatter stumbled away from everyone into an opening. "Sorry for this, but i need him. ANGI-KAT COME TO YOUR MASTER" And suddenly a large black handled scythe appeared in Hatter's hands. The scythe was brilliant for such a poor man, he supported himself on it, the scythe rivaled that of the grim reapers. "Now we may continue" He walked over to the princess as he folded the blade into the shaft, the nearly 4 foot blade hiding inside the pole as if by magic

Aiko stopped in her tracks as she watched the Hatter stumble away from her servants. Another hinderance to the speed of their arrival in the doctor's office. Watching as the odd man summoned his protector, she was shocked to see the blade. The guards all pointed their weapons at the poor man as they spotted the weapon, but her hands shot up to signal that they not attack. The blade soon dissappeared, and she let her hands fall. The men looked edgy, but now that she knew the Hatter held magic in his blood, her tactics changed. She would keep one of rich magic blood close, expecially if he had talent. "Come this way, Hatter." Aiko responded smoothly and led the slowly limping man into the palace and through the lavish hall. The door was opened for her and stepping inside she waited and watched as the Hatter entered. "Doctor, please take care of this man. He is badly injured and may have frostbite. I found him in a snow bank." the princess said and the doctor smiled. "Of course princess. You are such a kind soul, saving this man, I believe he is the seventh you have saved this month." the friendly looking doctor said and motioned for the Hatter to sit on the examination table.

As Hatter limped across the yard he watched as the guards eyed him, he knew he wouldn't be able to fight, but he needed Angi-Kat with him otherwise it could be stolen by his assaliant. Staring in awe at the mansion that Akio and her mother called home he followed into the doctor's area. He hoped up on examination table and looked at the doctor. "Be careful please, my leg is a bit fucked up" but as soon as he sword he caught himself Crap, i probably shouldn't have done that he thought to himself and snapped to look at his scythe "shut up Angi." Hatter snapped quickly.

The doctor nodded, trying not to acknowledge the sware as he examined the dark looking male, but Aiko on the other hand raised an eyebrow and shot the Hatter a warning glance. She would not stand for bad language used so lightly. If he was in immense pain or his limb was chopped off, she could understand that. But using foul words lightly was not her cup of tea. The doctor then shook his head and Aiko looked a bit worried. "He has severed nerves..." the doctor said and the young queen walked over to the hatter. "That's not good at all..." she breathed and looked into the hatter's eyes before looking at the wound herself. "This means surgery, and swiftly, before the nerves die... Luckily they were preserved in the freezing snow..." the doctor said and Aiko put a hand on Hatter's shoulder. "The doctor will preform the surgery... Do not worry about anything... He is the best in the land..." she said reassuringly.

Hatter got pale at the idea of surgery. "No, don't put me under for surgery. I can fix myself i swear." He said, he didn't want to be knocked out and in fear of what might come in his sleep. All he needed was someone that was strong to drain for a split second, they wouldn't even have to know, just drain them so he could temporarily be fine then find someone who is healthy that he could leach from. "No sleep." he protested and gave the doctor a very angry look

The doctor frowned, and Aiko looked at the Hatter softly. Walking over, she looked into his eyes and placed a comforting hand upon his shoulder. "Hatter, with severed nerves, you may never feel your leg again." she said, and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear with her free hand. "How would you fix such a thing? It's already a severe wound, but with this it makes it dangerous." the queen said smoothly, hoping to talk some sense into the male.

He sat up and began to whisper in her ear "Long story short, i can use others positive energy to replace my negative energy, and vice versa. I can drain people" He sat back down and he felt the injury start to take its tole. If only he had learned how to create false energy from his book before his assailant stole it and almost killed him

Aiko smiled and nodded. "I figured that you had something up your sleeve." she breathed and then took the male's hand slowly into her own. "I know that if you can heal yourself, magical energy is what you need." she said and looked into his eyes, her own unwavering. "Heal yourself... And then I can offer you a reason to truely exsist..." the queen said and smirked slightly. "I can offer you the wisdom and knowledge of how to use your gifts."

"I'll take you up on your offer" He held her hands and her vains began to glow blue just like his. He slowly began to drain her of her essence. He was growing stronger as she grew weaker. "I will take just enough so I can walk" which meant he only needed to hold this for about 2 seconds. Once he got his fill he let go of her, but something went wrong. Hatter began to hack up blood, his blood has faint traces of something green in it. "Shit.... We need to find my assailant soon, i NEED my book from him"
