"Cause problems? Lucy hasn't caused any problems so far today." he answered and looked at both of them. He knew that now things would get pretty ugly now because of what the girl had told Lucy.

'So far today,' the redhead repeated, with a small nod. 'A ghost can't stay too long in the land of the living without causing problems. Now come on,' she said, a little more firmly. 'You know I have the authority to use force, Lucy.'

Lucy clutched Demetrius a little longer; then, slowly, she let go of him, and stepped away, looking down.

Demetrius looked at both of them confused but didn't have the courage to ask exactly where they were going. Instead, he looked at Lucy and frowned when he noticed the sad look on her face.

Lucy had carefully kept her face hidden from view when she stepped away, but it was just possible to see suggestions of movement on it. When she looked up next, her entire face had changed; she only had two small eyes and a large circular mouth filled with shark-like teeth, and her fingers elongated and grew sharp claws. She launched herself at the redhead.

It was so short it could hardly even be called a fight. The redhead raised the sword and slashed at Lucy, who fell abruptly. The redhead pointed something like a television remote at the air, grabbed Lucy, and dragged her through that spot of air, disappearing abruptly. A moment later, she was out again, the sword out of sight, and shook her head. 'I hate when they try and fight like that. We really need to do a better job of identifying the crazy ones.'

Demetrius widened his eyes and watched what had happened but he couldn't really focus on what had exactly happened since it had happened so quickly. All he knew was that Lucy was the attacker and now she was gone, where exactly did she go? Well, he didn't know. When he saw the girl with the red hair again he looked at her then looked around. "What was that all about? Where did you take her?" he asked her.

'Back to Death,' the redhead said. 'No one saw the signs until it was too late, so we didn't notice when she just left.'

"Back to Death?" repeated Demetrius confused. "Lucy is a crazy ghost...that much is obvious. Lucy wanted to marry Henry and was never able to because he or she died. Did Henry die first or did Lucy die first?" he asked. "I'm only asking because I'm very confused with what's going on..." he explained.

'Lucy did,' the redhead explained. 'Stepped into the street just as a truck was coming by when she was on her way to elope with Henry. She hasn't been handling her death well.'

Demetrius frowned and shook his head. "The poor dear." he said quietly. "Lucy did mention the word 'elope' to me; she also called me Henry a few times." he said and looked at the redhead. "Do I resemble Henry?" he asked. What he really wanted to ask was why did Lucy and Henry want to elope? Did their families not approve of the love they had for one another? He had a few questions to ask but he didn't think this girl wanted to even talk to him.

The redhead looked at him critically. 'Don't think so. 'Course, I've only seen Henry as an eighty-year-old, so I may not be the best one to ask.'

Blinking, Demetrius couldn't help but chuckle nervously at this. Was Henry really that old? Lucy didn't look that old at all...but she was a ghost so it is pretty difficult to tell the age of a dead person. "I see. Well I should let you go wherever you going to go. I'll head home now it is getting a bit late." he said.

The redhead nodded. 'See ya.'

(We need an excuse for my character to train yours in ghost finding xD)

As Demetrius walked back home he couldn't but think that he'd probably end up going to the cemetery every now and then. "I don't see why though...it's not like I have anyone to talk to there." he said to himself as he closed his front door behind him and locked it. Sighing, he walked upstairs to his room and changed into some night clothes before getting into bed and sleeping.

(Hmmm...what about his love for the paranormal?)

(Maybe he becomes a bit obsessed with it, so they decide it wouldn't hurt to have a bit of a helper? ^^)

The redhead soon went back to Death herself.

The next morning, Demetrius showered and then grabbed a book about ghosts and how to talk better with them. He didn't feel like eating just yet, he wanted to figure out how to talk better with the ghost he had met yesterday. "I don't even know her name..." he whispered to himself.

(Obsessed? I can do that...how though?)

(Maybe he starts hanging around places, and whenever he notices someone who seems to be a ghost, goes over to them and talks to them? And badgers my character when she comes to round them up?)

(All righty! shall we move on to your character going back to the graveyard, then?)

Demetrius had been reading various books on the paranormal but it really didn't seem to be of much help. Grabbing his walking stick for the heck of it, he walked outside and locked the door closed behind him as he walked over to the cemetery once again under the dark night sky. "I wonder what I'll see this time..." he said to himself.

There was a commotion going on near the back of the cemetery. There were flashes of...was that flame?

Demetrius noticed all the movement and the noises coming from near the back of the cemetery where it looked like something was burning. "What on earth...?" he said to himself before walking faster over there. When he got there he looked around in confusion. "What's going on?"

A fireball shot from far to the left and hit a tree, which burst into flames. Someone ran out from behind it and through several tombstones. The redhead from before flew out, flaming sword trailing her, and slashed at the ghost who was running. The ghost fell, and faded.

Demetrius instinctively ducked behind another tree before peeking out from behind it. Looking around he only saw the read headed ghost from before and walked over to her. "What was all that about?" he asked.

'Another one trying to escape,' the redhead said with a sigh. 'This one deliberately wanted to end it.'

(I had a bit of an idea...when she's clicking that TV remote thing, she's making a portal to go back into Death. What if he takes a wild leap and follows her in? xD)

Demetrius looked at her and ran a hand through his head. "I see...and why don't you just let her end it?" he asked her curiously. "Is it bad if she ends it?" he asked.
