That easy smile was on Talis' lips at the mention of being punished. "No, perhaps yelled at, but not punished." At least not for just one night, if it continued who knew how the manager of this place might react. His hands rested lightly on Leander's hips, squeezing almost reassuringly. The next question the blue eyed dragon asked him did catch him off guard, but Talis had much practice at not letting such things show. He kept that easy going smile on his lips. "I enjoy dancing, I enjoy being admired. I bask in the adoration and it brings in a lot of money. A dragon must have a hoard of wealth, mustn't he?" He spoke the words sincerely, even though almost none of that money, if any ever saw his hands. Leander didn't need to know that, but how long until he truly figured it out? Not long, if he continued to return to Talis, surely.

When those lips brushed against his skin, Talis easy smile turned to a more sweet one. A soft shiver rushing down his spine from that brief, unintentional touch and his arms wrapped around Leander completely to hold the other close and tightly against him. "You should sleep soon, no doubt tomorrow will be draining on your soul no matter what you find." He nuzzled against the other gently and moved so that they were both laying on their side facing each other, instead of Leander being atop of Talis.

The blue eyed dragon smiled slightly, letting himself be reassured by Talis' words. It was good to know that spending time with him wasn't going to bring trouble upon his friend. Now that his questions had been answered, Leander fell silent. The pale haired dragon let his head fall upon the other man's shoulder with a soft sigh.

Having the other dragon's hands upon him made Leander blush; the sensation of being held so close by another was an alien one to him, and he found that he rather liked it. He would return, he had to, if only to tell Talis of his discoveries on the morrow. Leander knew his clan wouldn't be hiding too far, there were only so many places which held the stones they so loved to sing to.

Talis's shifting about had him clinging to the other dragon tightly, partially to hide his blushing, though Leander made no move to release the dark haired man once they faced each other, side by side, upon the mattress. "You're right ..." Leander shifted slightly to brush his lips against Talis' cheek. For some reason the small action felt completely right. "Good night Talis." The words spoken softly drifted away as Leander closed his eyes and allowed himself to sleep. It wasn't such a hard task as he thought it might have been, unused as he was to sleeping beside another.

It wrenched Talis' heart to lie to the dragon next to him, but he was so good at hiding it. Centuries of practice. He wasn't sure how Leander would react to the truth of Talis position here, it was a shameful thing, for something as powerful and proud as a dragon to be a slave. Especially to be one for as long as Talis had been. So long. He smiled sweetly at the other when Leander kissed his cheek, it was nice being kissed, even on the cheek, when one wasn't selling something for it. Being touched and holding another. It had been far too long. He kept those arms around Leander, and soon after the blue eyed dragon had fallen asleep, Talis fell into a light sleep. Any noise inside the room or a knock on his door would waken him, he felt defensive, as if he needed to guard and protect his new found friend.

The blue eyed dragon slept. It was the kind of comfortable sleep you only ever had when you felt completely safe. There were no dreams, or none that Leander might recall when he awoke at last. Something thumping against a door had him shifting, half asleep and still holding Talis. He couldn't remember where he was, what had happened, or what he would have to face that day. The hours of sleep had worked their magic, though soon the veil of wrought by fatigue would be wrenched away. Again something thumped against what Leander now recognized as the door. Blue eyes wide, he stared as the nob turned.

He remembered what kind of place he was in now. Almost fearfully, he tried to hide his head beneath Talis's chin. He was afraid, of yes indeed. The world had changed since his last long sleep and the only person he trusted was the dark haired dragon holding him in his arms.

The first thump on the door had pulled Talis from sleep easily, though he was reluctant to move from the warmth of the other in his arms. The second knock did make him move. Leander seemed to be awake now as well, and gently Talis removed himself from the other to make his way towards the door just as the knob was turning. The door was locked, but that didn't mean much, the manager had a key to every lock in this building, if he truly wanted in he could get in easily. Talis ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it up and making it messy, he pulled and yanked at his clothes until they looked as if he had thrown them on in haste. Then he pulled the door open, a satisfied look in his eyes, and a finger pressed to his lips in the 'shh' gesture at whoever he met on the other side of the door, his voice a light whisper. "I'm with a client right now."

Leander shifted, making a sound of protest when the other dragon left the bed. He felt cold all of a sudden, and quite lonely. Fuzzily, he lifted his head to peer at Talis. Now, why was the other dragon making himself look like that, all in a disarray and mussed looking ... It was like he wanted to appear like he'd just hopped out of bed with someone. Well that's what Talis had done, but not quite in the way he was trying to imply.

The ploy seemed to satisfy the creepy looking man who'd knocked at the door. He nodded and left, which made Leander relax. The dragon hadn't even realized how tense he was until he collapsed onto the bed with a sigh.

When the other man left, Talis closed the door gently and leaned against it for a moment before he ran a hand through his hair, fixing it somewhat and then running his hands over his clothes to straighten them. Golden eyes turned to Leander and Talis smiled at him, it was a mischievous smile and only there for a few moments. "Sleep well?" He sauntered over towards the bed and leaned over Leander for a moment, peering at the other dragon, looking almost as if he were going to kiss the blue eyed beauty. Talis pulled back at the last moment, that easy going smile on his lips.

"I have to get to work, no doubt you have a long day ahead of you. Come back when the sun goes down if you want to watch me dance again. I'll be waiting." That last part was spoken with a hint of longing, as if he really couldn't stand the thought of Leander leaving him for the whole day. He didn't want the other dragon to leave him, but it was more of a ploy to bring Leander back to him. Perhaps it would work, though Talis wasn't sure the other needed much convincing to return to him, even if he did find other dragons. "You can go out the front door, no one should bother you." Though Talis figured the manager might come in once he saw someone leaving his room. He turned towards the small bathroom attached to his room and headed towards it to shower.

Leander nodded with a smile at the question, but the expression was soon replaced with one of fearful anticipation. He was a little disappointed when the other dragon backed away, but not so much that he would jump into action. He didn't know what was wrong with him, having such impulses.

Shaking his head slightly, Leander shifted about and moved until his feet were planted firmly against the ground. The longing in Talis's voice made his decision to leave all the harder. He didn't want to leave the other dragon alone. "I'll come back to tell you what I find." Leander walked past Talis and out the room with a smile.

He got looks as he crept out of the building, strange ones that sent shivers of apprehension down his spine. That didn't matter, not one bit, as he ran up the way he had first come. It didn't take him too long to find the cave where he had slept and now returned to his dragon form.

Talis flashed Leander a bright smile when the other agreed to come back, then he was vanishing into the bathroom to take a nice long leisurely shower. He would probably have some actual clients during the day, but Talis wasn't expected to do anything in actual club until night time. Where he was expected to dance, and maybe even bartend a bit when he was done dancing. Right now was nice time for himself. He relaxed in the shower, for a bit his mind wandered to Leander, wondering if the other would truly return if he found his clan. Surely the lovely dragon would much prefer to stay with his clan. Talis forced the thoughts away, letting the hot water wash away all his thoughts as he just relaxed.

The wind caught his wings the moment he lifted them to the sky. Leander let his body fall from the heights and had to force himself not to roar out his joy. Flight was his dance, and it had always been. He swerved and flitted about, and at the same time he listened and watched. Sharp eyes traveled over the landscape.

It was so hard to find any sign of them, his clan. The stones weren't singing anymore. Wait! It was faint, but Leander managed to hear it. A whisper against the wind, a shiver in the earth... Leander followed it like he would the sound of trickling water. He thirsted to know whose song that was. He weaved through cliffs, flying far from the human populated area until at last he caught sight of a cavernous hole. He dove inside, and scrambled down the tunnels he found there.

The sight that met his eyes had Leander in tears. Precious stones glowed with an inner light, glittering with the magic of dragon song. He'd never thought to have missed that sound so much. The pale dragon ambled forward to peer about, to see who sang. He froze, his whole body drooping.

There were three, though one had grown as her eggs came nearer to being ready to leave her body. That gave him hope, though his nestmates and his birthers were nowhere to be seen. He crooned and talked with them, speaking his story and informing them of where he intended to go after that. Though some fraction of his clan remained, no one who had been truly important to him did.

The blue eyed dragon winged off and retraced his flight with ease. He was careful to avoid any signs of humanity, then he landed where he had once before as night fell. Leander, pale haired and pale skinned, ran down the slope and into the city. Without hesitating he slipped into the strange inn again, and took up a seat nearer the stage then the one he'd had before. Leander shifted and fretted, hands splayed across the hard tabletop, as he waited.

Talis had moved through the motions of the day automatically. He was so used to this routine, he could probably do it all if he were asleep. It was too easy, to make others think they had fallen in love with him, to keep them coming back for more of him while he bled them dry of all their wealth. Wealth that barely even touched his hands. It didn't matter. Night was falling, another quick shower, and then Talis was slipping into that outfit. His dancing outfit. Clothes that threatened to reveal everything when he danced but never did. It would be easier to not think about things as he danced, for Talis was sure his blue eyed dragon was not going to return, or if he did it would be with very depressing news.

The lights dimmed, the crowd went silent and Talis stepped to the center of the stage. Eyeing his audience with that calm, cold and calculating stare. Those eyes found Leander, somewhat surprised the other had returned, though now Talis only steeled himself against whatever bad news the other might have for him. That golden eyed gaze slipped over the rest of the audience, then Talis began his dance. It was a different dance than the previous night, but no less vulgar or fluid. Like water he writhed and wriggled. Shimmied and shook. The back up dancers took their places at the back of the stage behind him. Dancing and stripping, but all the crowd usually only had eyes for Talis. That lithe body moving as if he had been born for nothing more than dancing. As usual, Talis kept the audience captivated for an hour maybe a little more. With back up dancer's switching out every twenty minutes. No one could match the dragon's stamina and truthfully, he could probably last longer.

Talis danced his way off the stage, slipping to his usual place behind the bar where the glass of water waited patiently for him and the bartender could keep an eye on him. It was the usual routine, but as Talis sat at the bar now, drinking his water, those golden eyes lingered on Leander.

The other dragon had such grace, and was so breathtaking upon his two slender limbs. He drew the eye unquestioningly, in such a way .. He commended attention as if it was his right, and Leander couldn't help but think that it was. Though the dance was vulgar, it was also a show of skill, and because of that worthy of admiration.

Once the other dragon had left the stage, Leander ambled over to the bar where Talis sat with a smile. Appropriating himself a stool, the blue eyed dragon leaned his arms against the counter. He was glad to have found Talis before he came across the remnants of his clan, it helped ease the sadness of knowing that he just didn't know what had happened to his siblings. They'd gone looking for him, and his birthers had stayed behind.

"Hello Talis. You were wonderful tonight, better then yesterday even." The younger dragon smiled brightly at that, without even realizing that it seemed a little false.

Some people had moved, as if towards the bar, but when Leander took the bar stool the others turned back to their tables. Talis couldn't help but wonder if all the attention Leander gave him would cause trouble for the pale beauty. He was sure Leander could handle himself though, the other was a dragon after all. Talis leaned towards Leander, with a seductive smile on his lips. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." Truly though the compliment coming from Leander sounded far better than the various compliments others gave him. "I've always been a dancer." Once he had danced with shadows, and with clouds. He shoved those thoughts away and finished his water.

He was almost eager for the news of what Leander had found, that eagerness surprised even himself, and he tried to shove it away. Talis was nearly convinced that all other dragons were dead, getting excited, even daring to hope differently would only lead to more pain. For a moment, Talis leaned over to whisper something in the bartender's ear, then he vaulted over the bar top and grabbed Leander's hand. He'd give that hand a tug and then lead the other back to his room. There they could talk in privacy.

The words had him smiling, but not more so then the way he felt his hand taken up by the older dragon. Without protest he let himself be guided into the other man's room. There was comfort to be found there, and a friend waiting to listen to his discovery.

Thinking of it, Leander turned to hug Talis tightly as he began to speak of his find. "I found three dragons, and the female was heavy with eggs, just ready to be nested. They were younger then me, but part of my clan. I told them what had happened to me, and they told me that my nestmates had gone looking for me. My father and mother have long joined the stones in eternal slumber." At that last he felt tears slipping from his eyes, and wished for a moment he could turn them to diamonds to give to his friend. They would be of some use then.

When Leander hugged him, Talis wrapped his arms around the other and ran a hand through his hair. His heart flip flopped. At first it soared that dragons were still alive, then it plummeted because now he would have to let his new friend go. As the tears slipped down Leander's face, Talis pulled back from him, cupped his chin and tilted the blue eyed dragons face up. He gently kissed the tears away. "You should return to them." He spoke the words gently, followed by a sweet but brief kiss to Leander's lips. "They are your kin and you should be with them, not here, surrounded by the stink of humans." Talis voice was kind, soft. As if he only had Leander's best interest in mind. He did, truly. There was no telling what might happen to the dragon's heart if he remained surrounded by humans and Talis. Honestly though, Talis didn't want to lose Leander, even if such a thing would be better for the other dragon. He didn't want to lose him but he would let him go.

The younger dragon closed his eyes at the gentle touch of lips against his cheeks, and shivered when he felt them against his mouth. Leander shivered, moving to press himself as close to the other man as possible with a shake of his head. "I don't want to! Not if ... not if I might not see you again..." He knew that if he returned, saw the newborn dragons coming into the world, he would want to protect them with all he had.

It was a singleminded type of thought that always overcame him when he saw the newly born, and he wouldn't be able to tear himself away until they were well enough to fend for themselves. That could take so long ... And then Talis would probably have moved on.

Talis held the other gently. He couldn't deny that it made him happy Leander wanted to stay with him. Him, who most dragons wouldn't even call a dragon anymore, but such a thing could and probably would only end in a disaster. "This place isn't a place for you. Your place should be with your kin, they need you more than I." Talis wasn't too sure about that, it scared him that he felt like he needed Leander badly. Maybe he did, or maybe he just wanted to cling to another dragon with everything he had. But he couldn't. He had to let Leander go. "We can't spend every night together, so why not go be with your kin?" It hurt to push Leander away, it hurt to think about not seeing him every single night, Talis had finally found a dragon and he couldn't truly have him. He hid these thoughts and this pain well, only seeming truly concerned for Leander's well being and kin.

Leander pulled away from his friend's arms with a confused expression. "You don't want to see me?" He knew that wasn't quite what the other man was saying, but that's all he could think of. The dragon didn't know the way of humans, or what kind of dragon Talis was; he didn't care about any of that. Blue eyes wide, Leander stared at his friend and tried to make sense of the words he'd heard. Talis could have meant exactly what he'd said, or it could have been an excuse to get rid of him. He hated to think that way, but the thought still crept into his mind.

"Gods, Leander!" He breathed the words as he grabbed the other, to pull him back close. "Your the first dragon I've seen in more years than I can count, I don't want to let you go." It was too hard, to keep that mask of indifference, of hiding his true feelings, his true emotions. He gripped the other tightly, pressing his body against him and nuzzling Leander's neck. Inhaling deeply. "Don't ask me to let you stay, I won't be able to refuse you." It was clear to Talis that Leander didn't truly understand the place he was in, or the situation Talis was involved with and Talis was to ashamed of such to rightly explain it to the other dragon. If Leander were just a naive human, Talis would have no problem explaining this, but to another dragon it was completely different. A proud, powerful dragon should never be in this kind of situation. Just being a slave to a human marked him as weak, as a non-dragon. He shivered lightly and kept his body pressed hard against Leander's, holding to the dragon as if he were afraid the other might slip from his grasp. "I only want you to be safe." The words were whispered quietly, and spoken in a tone that suggested Leander was the most important being in the all of existence.

Leander gasped, not only because he had been pulled so unexpectedly near the other dragon again, but because of the words now filling his mind. Talis didn't want him to go? The other dragon wanted him to be safe? Leander closed his eyes and wrapped his arms tight around the other man. He wanted to reassure Talis, but he didn't know how ... Besides, being pressed so close to the dark haired dragon had him shivering and his heart beating, his cheeks were red, and Leander had never felt that way before.

"Talis ... I'll go, I'll stay with them, but I'll come back to see you. I'll do my best, alright?" As he spoke, Leander moved a hand to rub it against the taller man's back, in what he supposed were soothing circles. It was hard to tell, he wasn't too used to this human form he wore.

"You have to be strong for them, and for me." He mumbled the words into Leander's ear, softly, his voice barely more than just a breath. Then those lips moved to press gentle kisses along the other's neck as Talis moved forward, pushing Leander back gently. Guiding him towards the bed. Talis wanted the dragon badly, even in this, their human forms. Nothing could compare to the feeling of need and want he had towards another dragon, he would have much preferred if they could do this in their dragon bodies, their true bodies. This would have to suffice. To lay with another dragon, Talis had lost all hopes and dreams of that. Even yesterday he had tried to deny such a thing, it had taken a lot of will power not to jump Leander's bones last night, but Talis had hidden such desires well. Now he let those desires out. Unleashed, but Talis was gentle as he laid the other down upon the bed, and rained kisses all along his throat and face. As if he were kissing the most precious and fragile thing in the world. His hands roamed just as gently, but also sensually along Leander's flesh. Under his clothing to explore everything, every inch of the blue eyed beauty's human body.

He wanted to protest. Leander had never been the strong one, not really. Those thoughts fled as quickly as a hummingbird's wings when he felt gentle kisses against his skin. The dragon in human form shivered at the sensations. It was so strange, oh but it felt so nice when Talis pushed him back gently and began to feather light touches everywhere.

Leander shifted, trying to understand why it was he felt so pleasantly helpless. He didn't understand what was happening. Was this feeling building what he thought it was? He had nothing to compare it to. The dragon did know one thing, he didn't want Talis to stop. An unfamiliar sound filled his ears, a soft moan, and it took a moment for Leander to realize that it had been him.

Even if Leander had protested, Talis probably wouldn't have been able to stop himself. The dam had broken, and there was no way to hold back this flood of need and want. Soon those lips captured Leander's, a kiss filled with passion, desperation and a very strong need for the other. Talis had never needed anyone this badly before, it frightened him and thrilled him all at the same time. Those hands roamed, touching and feeling. Feather light sometimes, a little firmer other times. Talis body shifted so that he straddled Leander, keeping him pinned beneath him on the bed and he writhed on top of his new lover. The moan that had come from Leander's lips very nearly ended Talis right there, causing his body to shiver for a moment as he fought for control over himself. No one had ever affected him like this before, not ever. Soon those roaming hands began to remove Leander's clothing, as Talis shifted and moved and repositioned himself so he could take those clothes away without having to stop touching Leander's body with his own, then Talis own clothes were quickly following Leander's. For a few moments, Talis just breathed as he stared down at the form beneath him. Then the lights in the room seemed to dim as Talis resumed his kisses and soft touches.

The younger dragon wanted to know so badly what it was he anticipated without knowing. Something was building up inside him and he just knew all of it was going to spill over sometime soon. Leander couldn't seem to control his limbs anymore. They moved of their own volition, his fingers extending to try and begin an exploration of their own. He almost regretted when the lights faded away, but by then he was far too preoccupied to really care.

Talis was tired, that was for sure. Usually his stamina couldn't be competed with, but they had romped almost nonstop that night. He had let Leander rest a little in between episodes, but not for very long. For a while it had seemed as if Talis' lust for the other was insatiable, and even right now, he could for another. A fifth romp, but he had decided to finally let the other sleep, Talis was tired, but restless. He couldn't sleep so he stayed up the rest of the night, what little there was left of it, just gently holding Leander close. Kissing his cheeks occasionally or just gently running a hand through the other's hair. Now the sun was rising though and Leander would have to leave soon. Talis didn't want the other to go, for a few moments he struggled with his own emotions until he finally hid them away again. He couldn't hide them all, but the most telling ones where locked away for now.
