The teenage boy just stood there, never moving. He just looked at both of the girls. A rather sharp barrier of wind circled him, unaware that one of them was made of flames. His eyes caught a tiny glimmer of a dark flame on one of the girls caused by his wind. Obvious that one was the clone. He sent the some of the wind towards the clone, the wind was fast and sharp. It sliced her up in a matter of seconds. When the real Kiyan was near enough, Aoide shifted quickly, he moved to the side avoiding her strike. He adjusted his wooden sword while spinning around to face Kiyan. His sword connected to her back with great force before he kneed her in the side of the ribs. He jumped back from Kiyan and stood still as he watched her, his eyes never moving from her.
Adaza just watched the two. He smirked when Aoide slaughtered Kiyan's clone. He was rather smart using his wind barrier to detect the clone, granted it was probably by accident. "Kiyan, stop charging in recklessly. It's better to figure out your opponent before charging. Analyze the situation and how the enemy works." Adaza told her once more. She was like a child, always acting without thinking or caring of the outcome. |
Kiyan steadied herself after the blows her shoes making a light skidding noise as she came to a stop from the speed she had been knocked out of. How can you analyze someone that never made the first move? That was her mistake with Adaza but it just got so irritating waiting. She thought some about Aoide's attacks and figured out quickly that he was using wind to destroy her clone, she would wait this time as she shifted her weight from one foot to the other but was still ready to move quickly to get out of the way of an attack

Adaza turned his attention to the teenage boy. "Aoide, first lesson. Repeat it." Aoide just thought for a minute, he had to remember for a moment. He adjusted his footing, he was switching to offensive. Without warningly Aoide sent a swift wave of powerful wind at Kiyan. It's goal was to knock her footing loose, with a quick speed he charged at her. He had a slight idea on how she worked, she was quick but seemed easy to irritate, perhaps easy to trick as well. He faded from sight as he ran towards her, vanishing from view only to appear right in front of her. His sword had softly connected to her chest. He didn't want to hurt her, he saw her movement. It seemed like she was still recovering from serious injuries. He jumped back from Kiyan. "What was that?" Adaza asked his student, he never seen Aoide hold back before. "The lady is hurt, her balance is off on the right. Her lungs seem to be irradiated, her breathing is uneven even for the training." Aoide simply told his master, he had notice it when she skidded to a stop.

Kiyan used the gusts to her advantage and managed to move back and dodge her sword connecting with his knocking it off course but she could tell he was going easy on her. She raised an eyebrow at Aiode at his seemingly gentle attack. "you know you should really address someone buy their name instead of 'lady' it's rude. And just because I'm recovering doesn't mean you need to go easy on me." she pointed out having already known her breathing was off, there wasn't much she could do about it though, her lungs still ached every now and again from her fatal wounds. Of course the balance thing was something that she could work on, she needed to get back into the motions of training and fighting if she wanted to be able to help Adaza and go into the forest and castle.

Adaza laughed at Kiyan's reaction to Aoide's words. Aoide just watched her. She seemed irritated already just by calling her lady, that and that he took it easy on her. "Kiyan, calm yourself." Adaza stated bluntly to her, he knew she would start getting angry at this rate. Aoide looked at her as his master trained her, he was just a training dummy for Adaza right now. He didn't mind it at all really. It was different than his normal training and he was learning from the exercise as well. "Aoide, battle is a life and death situation. Do you think your enemy will hold back if you were wounded before hand?" Adaza words were a statement more than question. Aoide just nodded to his master, he wouldn't hold back unless it would seriously wound her. Once more Aoide, started the attack. Small twisters starter to form near Kiyan, limiting her movement. The winds were sharp, cutting anything lightly that crept near. He disappeared in violent winds before appearing once more from one of the twisters. With a simple swing of his sword he attacked Kiyan, however he shifted quickly forcing the sword at a great speed to change direction before it connected into her stomach. He disappeared once more into the wind, waiting for his next chance to attack her.

"I am calm" Kiyan said but was being honest, she wasn't really even irritated it was just slightly annoying. Kiyan was a bit surprised when she felt the wind but for some reason didn't feel any of the cuts that she knew she should feel, it didn't seem the wind was even grazing her witch was odd. She managed to move and strike the next time Aoide appeared before moving away but found it odd that she didn't even get scratched by the winds... she couldn't have moved so fast that it missed could she? She shook off the feeling before just trying to match, block or counter each strike that was thrown at her but she found that her down time had caused her to loose a bit of her touch

"Aoide, thats enough." Adaza said to the teenage boy. The winds slowly died down as the boy reappeared in his original spot. He was wondering why his master had stopped the match until he looked at Kiyan. Her clothes had cuts from the winds but none on her skin. His eyes trailed to her left arm, he could see a basic symbol burned into her skin. His eyes widen slightly, that was his master's symbol. He had been training with Adaza's wife. Aoide instantly looked at the floor as his master walked up to Kiyan. With his free hand, Adaza went to touch her shoulder only for it to phase through her. He smirked at her as he removed his free hand and placed it on the bo staff. "Interesting, seems you adopting my shadows." Adaza never looked at Aoide, his eyes stayed on Kiyan. "Aoide begin your training exercises, Kiyan would have won." Aoide just looked at his mister confused but nodded before leaving to begin his exercises.

Kiyan was surprised at this and looked at Adaza before shivering a bit as she felt something odd then looked and saw his hand going through her shoulder. She then looked back at him rather confused. "how is that possible?" she asked curiously then frowned "I mean... I know you said I might get a little bit before but how is it possible for my entire shoulder to do that?" she asked still rather confused

Adaza just thought for a second. It was rather odd she took that ability after him, yet very interesting. "I gave you more of my energy then even my late wife, perhaps you're able to tap into more than just my life essence." He simply stated, Adaza just leaned toward to Kiyan. His face only inches away from her's. His eyes drifted to her lips then back to her eyes before whispering. "It was because of the kiss." He pulled away from her before walking away to continue training Aoide.

Kiyan listened to Adaza then was a bit surprised when he leaned in but just rolled her eyes a bit though did wonder if he meant her powers or him avoiding her, either way she figured she might as well go to check on Lynia since Adaza seemed more interested in training Aoide.

Adaza stop in his tracks, Sehpeal was standing in the doorway. He was glaring at Adaza and Kiyan. Anger was clearly written on his face. Not only was his little pet still alive but Adaza has training her. Sehpeal's arm was missing from the elbow down, thanks to Adaza's and his last encounter. Sehpeal notice Kiyan's arm, his cousin had bounded with that pathetic excuse of a girl. He had watched from the point Adaza called off the match, he was sickened to his core. Now he would have two of them to dispose of. "I see your pet is still alive and what's worse, you bounded with it." Sehpeal hissed darkly. He heard Adaza was bedridden for a little over a week, he hoped he was dying but it looked as if he would have to kill him himself.

Kiyan suddenly felt cold as she turned to leave but was met by the one person she never wanted to see again. her chest ached a bit as she remembered what had happened and just sneered at Sepheal but almost smirked when she saw his missing arm. A light mist or steam seemed to just flow off of her the light flames showing up again, she didn't want him anywhere hear her or Adaza

Adaza just stared emotionlessly at Sehpeal. "Aoide, take Kiyan back to her room and watch her." He order the teenage boy, who just nodded and went to his master's wife. Aoide just placed his hand on Kiyan's shoulder as a gust of wind circled them, he had transported her to Adaza's room unaware that they didn't share. He removed his hand from her shoulder. Aoide leaned against the door as he lightly folded his arms over his chest. He would not let her leave or anything happen to her as long as he lived.
Adaza just watched as his cousin spoke hatefully to him. He wasn't really paying attention to his annoyed cousin. It was actually taking everything he had not to finish his job. It was a few minutes before Sehpeal just turned and left. He had said something to the effect of him regretting taking his arm and that he didn't know true pain just yet. |
Kiyan huffed a bit before blushing some as Aoide seemed to get the wrong idea about where she stayed. "Um... this is Adaza's room not mine... mine's the one adaza destroyed the door to by accident." she said smirking a little at the end since she now kinda saw that as funny. She then looked at her hand as she noticed the steam and sighed a little, she really needed to learn more about her powers and figure out how to control them... well hers and her newly found powers from Adaza.

Aoide just looked at Kiyan. He raised an eyebrow in slight confusion. "You're bonded with my master, your room is his." He stated plainly. "My lady hasn't been married to my master for long. The symbol still has a light pink surrounding it." He was being his normal analyzing self. "You're blushing, means two things. Either your bounding was an accident or you're still shy about it." He simply looked at her, he was sensing all the injuries in her body that hadn't healed. "Your injuries most have been gravely if my master had to bound with you. I say you been healing for a little over a week, close to two. Your lungs have damaged to the point a tonic is needed or they will not heal." He was actually creepy when he fully analyzed people the way he was doing Kiyan. He would have to return with one for her, later that is. His job was to watch over her for the time being.

"Actually both... er... neither... gah! just get out of my way so I can go to my room!" kiyan said trying to keep the blush off her cheeks as she crossed her arms "stop analyzing me it's creepy... or at least stop saying it out loud." she sighed then smirked some "Oh and your wrong, I've been healing for about three or four weeks now... maybe longer... of course i've been getting worse instead of better but that's mostly my own doing" Kiyan shrugged a bit thinking on how she had been injured during the war, then locked in the dungeon and had to recover from dehydration and starvation... then of course bringing Lynia back... the torturing... and then of course her death and the major damage she took before it... yeah pretty much her entire time there had been either being hurt or healing from being hurt.

Aoide just shook his head, he could not let her leave. It was his job to keep her here and he would do it at any cost, well to him, he would never hurt his master's wife. "Your wounds from battle, imprisonment and great lost of energy have all healed. Slight damage was done to the lining of your stomach from starvation as well from dehydration. Those symptoms point to imprisonment as well as the slight scarring on your wrist from the shackles. The scarred tissues on your ribs and body are cleaned cut, signs of battle. Your energy level is off, my master's energy has healed you a great deal but for you own, it's recovering slow." He never moved from his spot as he spoke. He didn't know how to do anything but analyze. It was his natural talent and he was encouraged to use it from his master and that's what he did. "There is a trail of an evil presence inside of your abdomen. My guess, it is from my master's previous student. I can sense this is the second time my master had given you his energy. Means the previous amount was forcefully removed. I only know of one being capable of that, and those are from stories my master had told me." He said speaking of Kirito, he never seen him or seen his energy before but he knew it had to be him by process of elimination.

"Okay... that's really creepy... how are you doing that?" Kiyan asked unsure if she should be fascinated or completely creeped out right now. "I can't use self healing, my body heals at about the same rate as a human... well faster now thanks to Adaza and some new found powers." she shrugged a bit before finally sighing and sat down on the bed kinda wanting to check on Lynia and her studies before spending some time talking with the spirit fox and training a little

Aoide just watched her, he himself wasn't sure how he did it, just could. "Shadows." He simply stated. "Dark Elfs even when shamed can use shadows to heal. My master's room is dark for that reason. Concentrate. You are able to use his shadows to phase through, become invincible. You should be able to heal when you absorb shadows. However I can sense a dying light in you, it might kill your another spirit faster." He stated to her, he never sensed a spirit like the one faintly inside of her. "Your second spirit brought you back from your second imprisonment, not sure if it would survive it. There could a chance it could heal it, your energy is tied to it." He simply told Kiyan, he wasn't sure but there was a good chance it would survive the shadow healing.

Kiyan looked at Aoide a bit surprised "You can even sense her? Wow I don't think I've met anyone other then the chosen hand servants and the elders that could sense the spirits... but nothing can save her, her body is already gone... she's just been trying to help me with everything she can before she moves on... once she's gone I'll gain all of her powers and be able to help Adaza." she explained and knew it sounded a bit sad but it was just the way things were... it would eventually happen to her as well

Aoide shook his head lightly. "I can sense everything in a person. Even my master's transformation." He just looked at Kiyan again. "Than nothing can save it, use the shadows to heal yourself." He simply stated. It was a harsh thing to say but true. "Unlike my master's, your's is curable. His organs are dead, his left eye has fully transformed. That is why he is wearing the bandage, to hide it from Lynia most likely. Perhaps you as well." He noticed a tiny bit of emotion in master's eye, granted it probably didn't seem so to anyone else. "His body is turning into something I never sensed before, dying but still animated. The drugs are leaving him, however I'm sensing death. He hasn't eaten in over a week, his organs can't digest being dead." He just looked at the floor. He was searching through everything he never learn, like a codex within his memory.

"I can't do that, i have to do what i can to preserve her life until i can fully turn into her form at will, besides that could damage her life force and memories, it's not worth the risk just to get better a little faster." Kiyan pointed out then gawked at Aoide. "WHAT?!" she said in shock before frowning and huffed a bit "I should have known, I had just hoped the fox spirit was right, I just hope now that our trip will help him" she sighed rather worriedly then wondered a bit when he would be in... she was getting a little tired of being stuck in his room

Aoide just shook his head at her words. "There is a seventy-two point five chance that it will have no effect on the spirit." He was calculating the chances of effects the shadow would have on the spirit, being a elemental he had a knowledge most would kill for. "My master's energy is shadows and darkness itself, it would be conflicting with the spirit as we speak. Most likely would have killed it the moment he rejuvenated you with new energy." He simply stated to her. "There is no cure for my master. Not even we elementals know of curing the Reaper's transformation. However the Spring in the Castle of Ashura has a tiny chance of returning him to his former Dark Elven state. That would only affect his appearance and the draining energy he needs to survive as a Reaper. His organs will still be dead, he will never eat food again." He simply told her. He stood up straight before bowing to her, he could sense his master coming down the hallway. He left the room to see Adaza near the doorless frame leading to a room. "Aoide, this is her room." Adaza simply told his student who just bow to his master. "I will remember that, forgive me my Lord." Adaza folded his arms over his chest, he could just imagine her reaction to being stuck in his dark and gloamy room.

"it's still not worth it" Kiyan sighed shaking her head, he sure know allot of statistics but it seemed common sense was a little out of reach, a few days wouldn't change her condition but using the dark powers could kill off the spirit before she got all the information and powers she needed. She then listened and frowned in worry, she hoped that wasn't true... she hoped that Adaza would be able to go back to normal... maybe binding her own powers with his would help him, after all hers were off resurrection now. Once Aoide was out of the way Kiyan easily left the room and walked down the hall to see Adaza. "Adaza why didn't you tell me?" Kiyan asked worriedly knowing that he would know what she was talking about

Adaza just look at Kiyan then to Aoide he must have told her. "Nothing to tell." He simply brushed her off. "Aoide go back to training, then go help Kayo." He told the teenage boy. Aoide just bowed to both Kiyan and Adaza before he left to the training room. Adaza just looked back at Kiyan. "I may have bounded with you but you're not my wife. I'm not entitled to tell you anything." He was slightly annoyed that she knew. He didn't want anyone to know really besides Kayo and Aoide, only because Aoide could sense it. He turned to go to his study, he had a week's worth of responsibilities to do. "Lynia's is at her grandmother's for the weekend, go harass someone else." He spoke to her over his shoulder. He wanted to upset her so she would leave him alone.
