(yeah Kiyan you can't really woo easily though XD so what should we just skip to when he's back? I'm not redoing all of that.... oh and it's cherry blossom trees, not willow trees, I don't think there's a such thing as a chary blossom willow tree... I've never head or it )

- Okay, it's your turn to post. And actually, I forgot their names but their are some trees that are weeping willows but with sakura looking blossoms on them. Very pretty they are. :) -

After awhile Kiyan had fallen asleep under the tree and just laid there peacefully for quite some time. She didn't feel like eating lunch so when someone came to tell her she just told them that she wasn't hungry and went back to her light nap.

The sky was starting to get darker as he walked down the dirt road with his horse, he was enjoying the time alone but missed his former wife with a passion. He was lonely but refused to show it, specially around his daughter Lynia. He drifted into thought as he walked his horse to the stables where a young boy took it from him. He walked up his castles steps and into the slowly being lit castle, the servants lit the lamps and buzzed around the hallways as he walked passed them. He had got some red roses for his wife's grave, he was slowly heading to the garden where she was buried.

Adaza rolled his eyes as he saw the fox sleeping under a tree, she was really odd for a woman. He brushed some fully bloomed covered vines off the blacken gravestone wall. He smiled seeing her name and placed the roses in front of it before talking to her in his elfen tongue. He knelt down as he talked to his deceased wife as he cleaned away the weeds from her grave stone.

Kiyan woke up as she heard someone else walking into the garden and slowly stretched and looked around. She saw Adaza going over to a part of the garden and watched him some. She figured out pretty easily what he was looking at and felt bad for him, loosing a loved one was hard... loosing a family member was even harder and since she never saw his wife she assumed she was dead and buried over where he was. She slowly stood after stretching and shifted back to normal though started to head towards the house not wanting to bother Adaza.

Adaza heard her moving around in behind him, "This was my wife's garden." He told the fox, he never looked at her but knew she heard him. "She was was my childhood friend, she grew that tree you where sleeping under from a seed." He told her sadly, "I failed her twice, first time: a man forced himself on her. She was too young and he killed her chances of children. I was at war when it happened, lower rank then you." He wanted her to know why he was the way he was but to also understand that he knew her pain in some way. "She married me when we were too young to understand love fully and she hated me for not being there to protect her." His heart was heavily as he spoke to Kiyan, he was fighting back tears with every word. "It took years before she forgave me and somehow, Lynia was conceived. It was a miracle." He was still kneeling near the grave as he spoke, "When she was near due, a Fox clan kidnapped her. They forced her into labor, I barely got there in time; she died but left Lynia in her place." He told her sadly, "I was too late to save her, I failed a second time." He told her as he stood up, that was his tell about his wife, one of his saddest memories; granted there was allot more.

Kiyan looked back at Adaza then walked over to him looking at him softly as she listened to him "I'm so sorry to hear that... it must have been so hard for you." she said softly then sighed a bit looking down. "I'm sorry I've been acting the way I have... I'm just so used to being myself... and being with others of y kind..." she said softly still looking down a bit and you could tell she was missing her home and her people.

He looked at her, "Don't apologize, it happened over two years ago." He told her, he knew she was missing her family and clan but he knew after she was unmasked as a woman was as good as dead anyways. "I never fitted in with my family either, I wanted a different life but I was forced into this life." He told her quietly, "When I was little, my mother hated me. Probably cause I was born out of wedlock and she knew that if people found out she would be shamed and my father would leave her." He told her, he wasn't sure why he was telling her this but her was. "I knew she hated me, she told me everyday." He still spoke with a heavy heart to the fox near him. "One day I remember perfectly. I was four, I remember falling into the lake and as I screamed for help as I started to drown. My mother came and watched me, she stood and watched me." He was looking at the gravestone as he spoke, he could remember every detail of her face as she stood there. "My father he was fixing a pinwheel blade but ran to save me. He got me in his arms as the pinwheel fell, the blade started to tear him up yet he kept me safe in his arms; keeping me from the danger." He told her sadly, "When it was over, my mother saw my fathers corpse, she looked at me and with complete hatred she said: Why couldn't it have been you instead." He looked at her sadly, "I went into the army to get away from her, everyday I forced myself to be strong in spite of her. Miss Kiyan, I am sorry for everything I done to you. I was worse then my mother and I know you can never forgive me." He bowed to her softly before he started to leave the garden.

Kiyan listened to Adaza and was a bit more then shocked when he gave her a bow and an apology. She looked down when he stood and walked passed her then turned. "I don't quite hate you... I can tell you are a good person in general, you love your people and especially your daughter. But I don't quite like you either... you killed people that I loved just because I was in the army... and then you try to get rid of one of the few things that I have from my home... I can't forgive that... I can't forgive you for trying to take away my individuality either.... but I do want you to know, because I am a woman... because it seems you need to talk and can talk to me.... you can talk to me any time you like... whenever you need to really. If you don't want or need to then that's okay too... just know the offer's open." she said to him walking towards him a bit though not too close. She didn't quite know why she was kinda reaching out to him... maybe because he had opened up to her some.... maybe because if she started to talk to him maybe he would let her act, wear, and talk how she pleased.... really all she cared about in the category though is her clothes and him not criticizing her about it... she hated wearing dresses....... but really that wasn't the reason she was doing this.... it was probably just because she was nice deep down to everyone... she didn't really know.

He stopped and listen to her, "In war, everyone is a target. A child will not stop from ending your life, I was taught harsher lessons then you can manage. Weakness is not allow in this Kingdom's militia, we are taught to die to save our loved ones. Death is a inescapable part of life, if they did not die then you and I would have." He never looked at her as he spoke but he was speaking to her with the truth. "I was not there for my wife but I will be for my daughter." He simple stated to her, however he did most of it cause he didn't want her to get hurt. Woman were more cast down upon then most, it would be different if she wasn't a nanny. "I did acts those to protect you, woman are more harped upon about their appearances and how they talk. One improper word to someone else, you would be beaten. It is different if you are a noble, but you are a simple nanny." He told her softly, "I never threw your clothes out, I said I did but I had my servant go get you more. She needed to get your size and they was the only way I could get you to storm to your bedroom where they are all at." He told her, he turned to look at her, "You think I would so heartless to do that?" He ignored her offer but at the time he didn't feel like sharing anymore.

"You... you only did those things to save me?... but... why would you have been killed?" Kiyan asked looking a little confused and a little bewildered at the same time. "If you had just wanted my measurements why didn't you just have one of the maids take them down from me? And why did you make a big deal about me wearing my clothes around?" She asked then looked down a bit. "I didn't know if you would have done that or not.... I felt like you were treating me horribly either because I had snuck into the army or because of me being a fox... I wasn't sure..." she said softly and really seemed unsure and confused.

(lol XD ah suck it up! )

He just looked at her, "The king is far higher then me, he hates girls that act the way you do. Being my cousin his is over here allot." He simple told her, "He will kill you within a heart beat if you are out of place, specially being your race." He looked at the grave of his wife's then back to her, "You act like your general would not have killed my people, which we both know is a lie." He knew she knew it was the truth, no matter hard she tried to deny it. "You act like you would listen, you clearly would tell me off and you know it." He said smiling at her, she would have told him off and not nicely either. "You have to listen to the rules as every other woman that works here, dress wearing and all. Unless you marry a high noble then you can do whatever you wish as long as you behave when facing a noblemen. Though I doubt you can find one to marry outside of his class and race." He simple replied to her, he knew of no one that would marry her just cause of her race and her attitude. He chuckled lightly at her, "My daughter would hate me if I was racist towards you, and I admit I'm not the easiest male to deal with after a war." It took him a while to get back to normal until the next war then he would get cold again.

"You're right... but he wouldn't have killed children... or starved 20 of your people to death... if I'm right I think the only reason my people were at war with yours was because of your people trying to take our land... or it was because some of our clan had been killed because of hunting... no one's really sure... I just know my people are scared of yours and are always moving to try and survive." Kiyan sighed and shook her head a bit looking down then looked back at him for a moment. "I guess I was partly wrong about you... I'm glad you kept me alive... I'm just finding it hard to adjust... I miss my homeland so much... and being around my own kind... but I know I can't go back now." she said softly feeling a lump growing in her throat though tried not to show how upset she still was about all of this.

He just walked over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder, they were surrounded by darkness which melted away to a change of scenery. They were in a graveyard, the ground was ash and burnt of frames of houses rested around the gravestones. "You're right, this is what they do." He showed her the village and walked a few feet away from her. "This is where I was born, that shack was once my home." He said point to a burnt frame of a house, "Both of our sides are at fault, they both have reasons to slaughter each other. Your race came and did this to a village, they murdered innocent children. Violated and killed young girls, wives, sisters." He looked at her and sighed. "This is one of the reasons we were at war, both of our races are at fault. I don't know who cast the first stone but the other casted it back." He simple told her before grabbing her shoulder and returning her back to the garden, he let go and started to walk away. He ignored her fallowing words as he left the garden, he figured it was safest to leave the conversation before it started.

Kiyan looked around and couldn't believe that her people had been a part of this... this had to have been before the general had been assigned as such... she knew he would never had allowed this. She then watched as Adaza walked away and she sat back under the tree she had been laying under just thinking for a little bit before walking inside seeing if dinner was ready.

- Lol, I'm like Rodger from American dad. I need to let out my evil side or I will die. xD -

Adaza was happy to see his daughter, she was home earlier then planned. He looked at his mother-in-law in question as he held his daughter in his arms. He picked Lynia up and kissed her cheek as his mother began to speak in the tongue. He just smiled and grab her a hug before she left the two alone. "You are just in time for dinner, go clean up my sweet and I'll see you at the table." He said letting her down, she held ran off with the servant who was holding her suitcase. He went to his room and got cleaned up himself before meet his daughter at the table, she was sitting on his lap shwoing him pictures of places she seen at her grandmother's place.

Kiyan walked into the house and went to clean up making sure she didn't have any grass on her or anything before she headed towards the dining room where she saw Lynia was home and sitting in Adaza's lap. She gave the girl a small smile when she saw her look over as she sat in one of the chairs waiting for the food to be served.

Adaza and Lynia never looked up at the Fox while she came into the dinning room, she had been gone for not very long but she was talking like it was years. He smiled at his daughter as she spoke to him, they were once again speaking in their Elfish tongue, it had become a hard habit to break. Once she was done, she hoped down and ran to the Fox. "I'm glad you are feeling better, I hope you will come to find this a good home." She told the fox as she sat in a seat next to her, Adaza just watched his daughter as she sat near her excited that she had a unique nanny and new friend.

"Thank you Lynia, and I hope so too." Kiyan said softly with a slight smile to the little girl then saw that the food was being served. "Did you have fun at your grandmothers?" she asked softly still with a slight smile on her face. She was always kind to children and just adored them so, she always found herself smiling at least a little to any child she saw, it was a nice habit.

(it's okay, but are you okay? and I believe you said she was at her grandmothers to that's what I said XP if I'm wrong I'll change it though)

- I'm fine, just trying to kick it slowly and yes. She was at her grandmother's. -

Lynia just smiled at her new friend while the servants brought out the food, it was her favorite but then again everything was her favorite. She nodded in reply, "Yes, it was allot of fun. We went to the beach by Oshima." She told her happily, it was the beach outside of her grandmother's mansion but Adaza was sure the fox wouldn't know that. She slowly ate her meal which a loot smaller plate then Kiyan's and her father's. Adaza just ate in silence as he watched his daughter, she would poke at some of her food but ate it once she saw her father look at her warningly.

"Well then that does sound like fun." Kiyan smiled softly then started to eat not really caring that Adaza was ignoring her. She wondered some what she was to do exactly as Lynia's nanny... what was her scheduled and such? She hadn't been told anything about that at all really so she didn't know what she was supposed to do after they got done eating.

Lynia just ate away at her dinner, she knew if she didn't eat her vegetables her dad wouldn't be pleased so she forced herself to eat them. She wasn't really allowed to talk during meals, she would talk more then eat and she needed to eat. Adaza looked at Kiyan before he spoke, he was cutting his meat into bite sizes like he always did. "Miss Kiyan, sense you are feeling better, I will make a sheet of your schedule later. You will receive it first thing in the morning while Lynia is doing her school work." Lynia made a face about hearing the word school, she hated school but her father wanted her to learn all that she could.

"Okay... thank you..." Kiyan said before looking down at her food as she ate quietly thinking a little and trying not to show that the longer she was there the more she missed her home... she didn't care that she had chores or anything... but she did miss dressing in her normal attire and being with others of her kind... having friends and family around her... they had been her life while she wasn't on the battle field... and she missed training but she would still find some way to train at least a little without being noticed... she wanted to keep her mind and body as strong as she could.

He just nodded softly as he ate away at his dinner, he ate very elegantly. It was obvious he was use to high class mannerism even though he was born a lower class due to his mother. Lynia pushed her plate away, "Papa, can I be excused?" She was sleepy but she ate her dinner. Adaza looked at her and weakly nodded, "You do not want dessert?" He asked his daughter but she shook her head no. "No thank you, I'm sleepy." She replied softly, he nodded for a servant to take her upstairs and get her ready for bed. "I'll be up in a little to read to you." He told his daughter who went with the servant to go get ready for bed leaving only Kiyan and her father. Who ate in silence after his daughter's departure while a girl came to clean up the table where Lynia was sitting at.

Kiyan listened as Lynia excused herself and watched as she was taken to her room hoping some that she was okay. After just a little longer Kiyan was finished eating and when one of the maids came up to get her plate she smiled slightly. "Is there anything that I can help with cleaning up?" she asked softly since she actually liked to help when she could. The maid looked over to Adaza wondering if it was okay if Kiyan helped or not.
