"No I'm not hungry. Just making sure you don't need anything." He says. "Come I'll show you to a room you can stay in." He says with a smile. He offers Uriel his hand. "Please I only want to help you." He says when he sees Uriel flinch.

"Okay then." Uriel says softly. "I'm fine." At least physically. But...the thought of his parents being a part of things, abandoning him and everything...it hurts to say the least. It hurts a lot though he isn't showing it at the moment. He can't help the flinch as Kirin offers his hand. He was kind of out of it, thinking about how his parents could just abandon him like that..and he wasn't sure what Kirin was doing. After a moment or two, he hesitantly takes the offered hand, eyeballing Kirin a bit.

Kirin helps him up and leads him to a very plush room. "You are lucky I got to you first. Demons would not be as kind as I was." He says. "If you need anything, all you have to do is ask." He says.

Uriel is a bit tense, mainly because Kirin is still a stranger. And, sure, Kirin hasn't done anything to harm him yet, but their meeting and all leads him to believe bad things could happen. "I don't want to think of that." Of what the demons might do to him or anything. He nods a bit, but will probably try to ask for as little as possible if he can't avoid asking for something. "Why would they do that?" It's a thought that he didn't mean to say out loud.

"The demons? It is in their nature." He says with a small smile. "If you are talking about why the untainted would get rid of the tainted, they fear for themselves." He says sadly. He closes the door behind him as he leaves. He quickly teleports out of there. He leans against the wall of a building doing his best to fight back the darkness. The darkness that tells him to go and take and ravish Uriel. Soon he has that beaten down. He just starts walking.

Uriel shakes his head a bit, he isn't talking about the demons. "So....my parents feared me?" He sounds like an utter child as he says that, but the idea is so painful to him, his eyes already watering. But then Kirin is gone and he pads out of the room, looking around in the apartment before trying to open the door which completely fails which starts to anger him a bit. "Let me out!" He doesn't like being locked in here. It makes him think of a cage and not too many birds like cages. "Let me out now!"

(I remember you saying the door can't open...don't remember when XD)

Kirin comes back after a bit. He had also done some shopping. He teleports right into the kitchen and starts putting stuff away. He is lost in thought and he starts humming an ancient angelic tune. He misses heaven, and would give almost anything for another chance at it.

By the time Kirin comes back, Uriel is a little bit pissed. Now whether this could be due to some darkness from the taint finally acting on him...or just because he hates being locked up in a cage, it doesn't matter. He essentially tackles Kirin without thinking. "Never leave me alone here again! In a CAGE!" His voice is higher pitched than normal, unable to help it.

Kirin is taken off guard and he falls but he soon flips Uriel on to his back. "I DID IT TO KEEP YOU SAFE!!!" He yells, he has to keep him safe, he has to keep him alive. Kirin is shaking with rage. He does his best to calm himself down. He can't let that rage take over.

Uriel pretty much flails as the tables turn and he finds himself on his back. "I don't care! I don't want to be alone!" Until now, Kirin wouldn't be able to see it, but his eyes are watery. After being, essentially, abandoned by his parents, them being afraid of him, he was, deep down, afraid that Kirin wouldn't come back and he's locked in this cage. He would be stuck in there unable to get out.

Kirin gets off him. "Neither do I." He whispers, tears in his own eyes. He has been alone for so very long. "That's why I have to keep you safe." He moves to the bank of windows. He rests his head on the glass, looking down to the city below. He was tired, and had been this way for a long time.

Uriel isn't in the best of moods even once Kirin gets off of him. He just sits up, watching Kirin. "You shouldn't keep anyone locked up. It feels like a cage in here." The pout can be heard in his voice. It's not like he has anywhere to go or anything, but he doesn't like the idea of not being able to go outside if he wanted to, even just for some fresh air. "You didn't even tell me you were leaving." And that definitely did not help the idea that Kirin would never come back or anything.

"It's not safe for you out there. Especially if you are alone." He says doing his best to keep his voice from shaking. "I am sorry for not letting you know I was leaving, and I promise that I will let you know when I leave. And as long as I'm not going out to hunt souls you can come with me."

"I didn't say I wanted to leave or anything...I just want a way out if I need a way out." Uriel says softly. He knows he over-reacted and everything, but he couldn't help it. It seemed like a good choice at the time. "Alright, I'm sorry...for doing what I did." He did mean to do it, but he wasn't thinking about it or anything. "hunt....souls? Why do you do that?" He doesn't like the sound of that to say the least.

"It was the price I paid to stay alive." He says with a small, sad, smile. "Demons require human souls to survive, I am one of the collectors." He is thinking of a solution on what to do if he were out with out the boy and something happened to him the boy could get out. "You know I just realized I don't even know your name."

Uriel makes a whine like noise at Kirin's words. He doesn't like it at all to tell the truth. "Is...is there anyway to get out of it or do something else?" He asks softly. He doesn't know if that is even a possibility or anything actually, but it can't hurt to ask, can it? "Well, I don't know your name either." He's still sitting on the floor, not bothering with moving either way. "I am Uriel."

"I am working on that." He says with a smile. "You are correct. My name is Kirin." He says with a slight bow. By now he has come up with a plan for the door. He goes over and starts putting his plan into action.

"Like the Kirin of Asian folklore?" Uriel, even though he never really let anyone know, is interested in mythology and folklore. Even if it is or isn't true, it's still interesting what the stories are about and everything to him. "What are you doing?" He says, watching Kirin move.

"Yes, like the Kirin of Asian folklore." He said with a smile. "So you're into mythology?" He asks impressed. It is rare to find anybody, angel or otherwise, into mythology now a days. "As to what I am doing I am making it that if I go out and leave you here and something happens to me the door will open and you will be able to come and go."

Uriel smiles a bit at Kirin confirms it. "Well, I don't know much about it or anything, but I like it, the stories and everything." He finds it interesting, kind of like a good story since he can't know if any of it is real or not. Either way, it's interesting to him. "Ah...well...I hope nothing happens to you or anything." Though he likes the idea of going outside and everything, he doesn't like the how he'd be able to part-bad things happening to someone else.

"Would you like to go out for a walk?" He asks going to the hall closet. He comes back with a jacket that will cover Uriel's wings. "So what do I call you?" He asks with a smile. "I noticed you don't appreciate being called little one." He lays the jacket for Uriel over the back of the couch and goes to fetch his own.

"Walk?" That one word make Uriel excited to say the least especially since he didn't really explore anywhere before he started trying to find Kirin. So he wants to know more about this area. "Well, my name is Uriel?" Seems as good an option as any in his mind. He'll answer to it too.

"Uriel, I like that name." He says with a smile. "You'll need to wear the jacket." He says handing it to him. "To cover your wings." He answers the questioning look in Uriel's eyes.

Uriel just smiles. "The funny thing is...that it means God's Light....depending on who's saying the definition." It's ironic funny considering he's tainted. It's kind of depressing at the same time, but he pushes that away for now. He just nods a bit, taking the jacket and putting it on. He's used to having to never hide his wings, but this isn't heaven either so, things are different to say the least.

Kirin takes his hand hating when he flinches, but understanding it, and teleports them to a nice park. As soon as they get there he lets go of Uriel's hand. Needing to do something with his hands, he shoves them in his pockets.
