"Yeah, it seems we've acquired a pet." Kirin says with a smile. Bucky has curled up on the arm of the sofa. Kirin still has an arm around Uriel. He just never wants to let go.

"At least he isn't like trying to eat the couch or anything." Though Uriel does think that would be a bit interesting...except the couch could be badly damaged. He yawns a bit, unable to help it. "Okay...I think I'm going to go to sleep now." He says rubbing his eyes a bit, but not moving yet. He's warm and comfortable, but he's not good on sleeping standing up.

Kirin scoops him up into his arms heading to his room. He smiles a bit as Uriel gasps. He lays him on his bed kissing his forehead. "Sleep well." He says before heading back to the living room. He sinks to the couch with a shudder. Bucky curls up on his lap and Kirin strokes his head gently. A few tears run down his cheeks. He just didn't know how he was going to keep Uriel safe. He wants to push the mark, but he won't.

Of course Uriel gasps and halfway clings to Kirin. He didn't expect it to say the least. He blinks a bit, watching the other as he's put on the bed, blushing a bit, unable to help it at the kiss. "Goodnight." He says softly. And once Kirin is out of the room, he makes a cocoon out of the covers before falling asleep.

But for some reason, he's not sure why, he can't sleep for long. Instead, he ends up getting up with the cover wrapped around him before padding into the living room and flopping down on the couch. Too tired to really notice much of anything, barely awake at all.

Kirin was curled up into a ball on one end of the couch. He has cried himself to sleep. He wakes with a start when Uriel flops down on the couch. "Uriel is something wrong?" He asks sitting up. He reaches out and strokes Uriel's hair. He is worried for the you angel.

Uriel just curls up where he is. "No....just can't sleep in there." He says softly. It is a strange place, a very strange place, and he's never been away from home until now. So it's a bit hard for him to sleep. He leans into the touch. It's soothing to him to say the least. "Sorry." For waking the other that is.

"It's no problem." he says putting his arms around the younger angel. "If it would help you could sleep with me." He offers. Though he would understand if he didn't want that. Bucky curls up on Uriel's shoulder.

Uriel snuggles up to Kirin without thinking. It's comforting, plan and simple. He buries his face, blushing before he answer Kirin's question. "I...I think it would." He says, very softly. Though he isn't fully sure why it would or anything.

Kirin stands picking him up gently. He heads to his room. He lays down with Uriel in his arms. "Sleep now, you are safe." He whispers. He starts singing an ancient lullaby.

Uriel halfway clings to Kirin, part of him afraid of being dropped, but when they're both in the bed, he snuggles up to Kirin. He doesn't know why, but in this case, Kirin's presence is just very comforting. He doesn't know much about the other, but Kirin being there does have an effect, to help him feel safe. He nuzzles into him a bit, then as Kirin sings, he falls asleep to it, smiling a bit.

Kirin is up early, as he always is. He feeds Bucky and goes to make himself some coffee. He stands at the windows and just looks at the city. He wishes he didn't have to hunt souls anymore. He stands that way for a long while. Then he goes to check on Uriel.

Uriel makes an unhappy noise as Kirin moves away, but doesn't wake up at the moment. Instead, he rolls into the warm spot that Kirin left behind, kind of snuggling into a pillow. By the time Kirin comes back in the bedroom, he's petting Bucky the squirrel who is content to stay there as long as he's being petted.

"You two are cute." He says with a smile. "Are you hungry? I could make breakfast." He says going and sitting next to Uriel. He leans in kissing his cheek. He so wants him to take his mark but he bites his tongue hard.

Uriel is still half asleep, but petting the squirrel. He blinks a bit looking up at Kirin, until his stomach growls. He chuckles a bit sheepishly. "Food sounds good." He blinks a bit more, blushing lightly at the kiss. He isn't even thinking about the mark thing. It's to early to even think about it.

Kirin chuckles as he moves to the kitchen and starts cooking. Soon the smell of food fills the whole place. Kirin sings as he works. He prays that things will work out,though he is unsure. He shudders and focuses on the work at hand.

((Oh and feel free to bring in other characters demons and the such just remember they can't teleport into Kirin's place.

(I will if I ever come up with one XD Sometimes I have no ideas...other times I have ALL THE IDEAS! ALL OF THEM I SAY! XD)

Uriel just picks up Bucky before padding out of room to watch Kirin cook. He tilts his head a bit at the shudder. "What was that about?" He's just wondering. "What're you singing?" He has to ask that one too.

(And I was thinking maybe a demon could steal him at some point for some reason...one that doesn't want to kill/destroy him, but that doesn't necessarily make it any better.)

"It was a song my mother used to sing all the time." He says with a small smile. He avoids the subject of why he was shuddering. He doesn't want to upset Uriel again. He starts plating breakfast.

(I'm asking you XD)

Uriel smiles a bit. "I don't particularly remember my mother singing..." But maybe she knew what would happen to him back when he was young. Maybe she didn't. Maybe he just doesn't remember. He doesn't know. "That smells good." He says simply, letting the shudder question slide since it probably isn't important anyway.

"Uriel... I..." He takes a deep breath. "Sit eat." He smiles as he goes and gets out fresh squeezed orange juice for them both. He goes and pulls out Uriel's chair for him.

(Don't know when it'll happen though XD)

Uriel just tilts his head a bit as Kirin seems to start saying something but changes his mind. "Okay then..." He lets it go for the moment. "Ah thank you." He says as the other pulls out his chair for him, sitting down. "Were...you going to say something earlier?" His curiosity got the better of him so he had the ask.

"I was going to ask you to take my mark." He says bracing for another angry out burst. "But we don't have to talk about it." He sits down as well. He starts to eat.

Uriel gets this very unhappy look on his face as he mentions the mark. "Good, because I don't want to talk about it. At least not right now." He doesn't want to ruin his breakfast talking about the mark and all that. So he goes to munching on the breakfast instead of fighting or arguing.

"But it's important." He says not being able to help it. "It will keep you safe." He bites his lip hard to keep from saying anything else. He forces himself to eat.

"I said I didn't walk to talk about it right now." Uriel says, a bit annoyed, but trying to not act on it. He just puts his fork down. "I'm not hungry." He says before getting up and heading into "his" room and not Kirin's.

Kirin lets out a sigh. Can't Uriel see how important this is. "By the time you want to talk about it very well could be to late." He says standing in the doorway of Uriel's room. "Without the mark you could be taken from me, tortured, killed, and any number of other things." He says. He does his best to keep his voice calm but it's a struggle.
