"I'm... not sure," Terra replied slowly. She kind of figured her usual reading preferences were out of reach, and she wasn't sure what else there was.

Lucius nodded. "I will bring back a selection, then," he said, looking at her for a few moments. She was definitely not like any other human he'd known.

"Thank you," Terra said softly. "I really appreciate it."

Lucius just nodded and settled back in his seat, already figuring out how he was going to pull this off.

Over the next couple of months, Dominic noticed something odd happening. He wasn't surprised that everyone got used to his 'pet' following him around. He was, however, surprised at the fact that, instead of minding her following him, he minded more when she wasn't. He wasn't entirely sure when he began to care, and it was the strangest thing.
