He smiled at her face. "Is it fun?" he wanted to know, his sister wouldn't tell him. "having legs, running jumping. It's fun to jump out of the water, riding a bike, driving a car, they all seem like such fun things!" He laughed "sorry i must be pushing you abotu this stuff, my sisters always said i was very forceful when i was curious."

"Yes it's a lot of fun to have legs. I love to drive,run around when I have to. I like to jump when ice skating are roller skating it's ton's of fun." she says to Raquel not minding answering his questions at all. yet Maria could not help but laugh softly. she never knew someone how never been so excited sounding before.

He'd nod "ah ice skating, whats that... sound cold..." he couldnt help how excited he was, it was all so new and fascinating. "My family say i'll never have permission to become a land walker like my sister, i wish i could though."

Maria gives him a confused look when he said land walker. "Why not? I'm sure you would make some friends on land." she says yet wonder if it was possible. for him to become human just for one day so he could have some fun on land.

he shrugged "im too weird, stand out too much, or something... my father once said i was important down here." indicating the ocean. He had noticed her confused expression "a land walker is one of my kind given the gift to have legs and travel on land at their leisure."

"Oh so your a Prince then? if so it's understand able that means your next in line for the throne. if I was able to become a mermaid I would even if it's just for one day." Maria says while understanding what he had tolled her. so a land walker was like his sister then. how lucky she must be to come on land when he can not.

he laughed "oh no my brother is next in line, i am just important to my father for something else not that he will tell me, if i could make you one i would!"

Maria was surprised by the fact his brother was next in line and not him. "Raquel that is sweet of you to say that but. sadly I do not think there is anyone form are worlds. that could make something to help me turn in to a mermaid." she says to Raquel while swimming closer to him mostly cause. she wanted a better look at him sense. he was letting her see him today,but yet they had just met the other day.

he seemed concerned by her getting closer his tail flicking in anxiety but he laughed. "You never know, we could look one day i'll ask around, it's more excepted to ask about enchanted items and spells where i come from." he laughed running a finger over the marking on his face in embarrassment.

"I bet it must be fun to live in the ocean. maybe your right how knows and I need go home in a few hours. I have work again tomorrow,you mighty want to stay away. this beach will have a surfing contest en there will be a lot of humans around. so I won't be able to meet you tomorrow night." Maria explains to him letting the prince know. what was going to happen the next day so he can warn his people.

He nodded "then the day after ill see you, i will be here tomorrow too though, ill be watching from this rock keeping myself hidden, i always watch and i havent been caught yet." he swam away from her. "So i will see you whenever, please be safe." he turned diving under his tail flicking as he did he paused to turn and look back at her from under the water.

After he left Maria start's to walk off to head on home to eat and to get some sleep. yet hope to see him again. but wanted to think she was dreaming a about the merman male. so when she got home she look for one of her room mates talk to. "Is anyone here? I need talk to somebody any body will do really." she says while walking in to the kitchen to fix her self a late dinner.

One of hre room-mates would sit there, her black hair pulled back in a ponytail, wearing daisy dukes and a bikini top she'd be eating ice cream out of the tub "What's up Maria?"

"Would you believe me if I tolled you I met a merman? I know it sounds crazy I think I must be dreaming!" Maria says to her room mate while heating up some cold noddles up. yet cooks some beef on the stove with some vegetables to make it filling.

Her friend laugh "i'd tell you there was no such thing." even as she said this she began to type away in to an SmS on her phone.

Maria finish making her food then sits down and start to eat it slowly. after a while she get's up wash her dish's. with a long yawn coming out of her mouth slowly. "I am going to head to bed now and please forget what you heard form my lips." she ask her room mate before heading off in to her bedroom. she fall's a sleep quickly out like a light.

Once she was gone to bed her friend finished sending the message. The next day he would be hiding watching the events taking place. He liked the look of this surfing even if it did seem a bit silly at first.

The next day Maria had work all day long till she takes a break around noon. she sighs out and go's to sit near the water. to eat her lunch that she pack for today,she did not. like to buy food that often since she was saving her money up. for to get her own house someday are go collage.

He'd see her on the beach front bu remained at his rock, his sister however was on the beach cheering on the surfers. She had lots of guys checking her out but she didn't seem to notice any of them.

Maria eats her lunch slowly yet stayed away form the surfers knowing. some of them could be jerks at times to random people. but wonder if Raquel would be safe after what she had tolled her room mate? she was praying the other girl did not believe her and think she is crazy. Maria dose not want his race to be shown off to there own world. it would be wrong since they must be a peaceful race.

Once the surfers left his sister swam to the rock climbing up on it sitting there. She spoke with him before messing up his hair and diving in to the water. It only took moments after this for men in black suits to set up a perimeter nearby, he found a noose of sort round his neck as he tried to squirm free he was hoisted from the water by one of the men on the pier. They tried to be quick so noone would see. Raquel could feel his fin alreayd drying as they hoisted him by his arms now carrying him to a van.

She get's up done eating her lunch then run's back to work. to go clock out since she only had to work a half day. she brought her bike with her today to go ridding after work. yet could not stop thinking about Raquel. Maria knew it would be risky to see him tonight but wonder. if she could find someone to help her out?

The Van was dark and dry, he felt all of his scales seize up and his head become light from the lack of water, he passed out. His sister was no idiot when he didn't return after her she returned to the land putting on a dress she ran to where she knew Maria worked. "Have you seen my brother?" she asked as soon as she saw her at work.

"What Raquel is missing? I'm just getting off of work now and I have not seen him. let me help you find him,oh my this is all my fault." Maria says while trying not to start crying. in front of his sister right now but takes her work shirt off throwing it to the side. she had a tank top on yet grabs a small tanks filled with water,then put it on her back.

His sister turned to her "yes he is missing, i don't know where to start looking, what do you mean it's all your fault?"
