He turned to his mother and spoke in a hushed tone she wouldn't be able to hear much eventually his mother handed him something, he swam out her, actually having issues swimming with no fin. "were you serious about the tail thing..." he held out her a small necklace with a rare gemstone of some kind on it.

Maria thinks about about it once more yet wonder if anyone. would miss her? after a few minutes she realized not many people. "Yes I'm serious about the tail thing in deed. but what will happen if I take the necklace form you?" she ask Raquel clammily in a soft yet shy sounding voice. Maria did not want to admit right away she was starting to crush on him. but he is a prince plus he mighty not feel he same way about her.

He smiled "like mine gave me legs this will give you a tail, we can still visit the land, it's a mental thing, you go in to the water" taking her by the hand so they are stood in the water. "and you just will it, as long as you do that you will get your fin, you have to be on land to get legs back though, to stop people from drowning..." he closed his eyes his legs melding in to a tail. "see, simple.."

"Wow that look's pretty cool. I want to try it out should I be wearing the necklace?" Maria ask Raquel in a happy voice she like the idea. that she could still come on land so that is nice. but yet wonder if merpeople move to other parts of the other world? if so she could tell her parents she is moving to a other country. that is if they even try ask her a questions at all. Maria was still standing in water and will it she watch her legs turn in to a tail.

He nodded "yer if the necklace is removed you turn back to your normal form so it's easier to wear it." he laughed slightly looking at her. "I can show you anywhere in the world, is there anywhere you want to go?"

Maria thinks about it for a few minutes but wonder. where would she like to travel just for fun right now? hm maybe the Bahamas? "If it's okay I all ways wanted to see the Bahamas." she says to him while blushing a little sense Maria was sort of a shy person at times. yet wonder how many days would it take them to get there?

He'd nod, "The bahamas it is, shouldn't take too long, plus sometimes it isn't the destination but the journey that makes our lives interesting." holding out his hand to her to take. "lets go..." he said gently, finding her blushing cute.

"Really it won't take that long? I hope we find a sunk ship at least one. I have all ways wanted to see one but my parents. would never let me rent a scuba tank if I'm with them." Maria says to Raquel as she put's her own hand. in to his so they can go but hope. she would not have trouble with her new mermaid tail to much. she did not even try to swim with it yet at all.

He dove under the water pulling her along at first, letting her get use to the fin before releasing her hand as he spoke his voice sounded crystal clear even underwater. "A sunken ship is nothing knew, i'll find you a special one, maybe something from the pirates." he laughed gently "I can't wait to show you my world..."

Maria laughs yet smiles she was so happy she did not. have to hold her breath anymore when swimming this is great. "Thank you Raquel I am so happy being with you. right now I can't wait to see your world and I have heard. about pirates before only in story's are movies." she says to him while swimming by his side it was pretty easy so far. yet Maria was a little slow at first but is trying her best. to get the hang of using her tail are fins.

He swam fast then slow, obviously showing her the motions before diving deep he grabbed her hands and took off at an incredible speed. Eventually he headed towards the surface and holding round her waist he broke it not slowing down he flipped over before diving back in to the water like a dolphin before laughing. They were now in the middle of the ocean. "Eventually you'll be able to do that alone, im glad you're here too the boat is just below us... come on..." he swam down being slow and watching as the fish swum around him.

"Your a really fast swimmer that's for sure. I'm a little dizzy but it was fun I'll admit it."Maria says while flowing Raquel she start's to swim down. word wondering if she should have brought a bag? yet wanted to grow her hair out more since. her work had a rule about keeping it off the shoulders. so they would not get hair in peoples food. Maria giggles softly seeing the fish swim by to her this is like a dream come true.

He moved to swim on his back watching her swim behind him before turning to grab the mast of the pirate ship "LAND AHOY!" he joked softly before sitting in the 'nest' atop the broken mast of the sunken ship. The rotting wood having made to many opens but the place was still full of treasures, obviously no-one having found it before and the merfolk who had not having any interest in the gold and items.

Maria laughs at Raquel's joke yet swims up the broken mast of the ship. yet wonder if she could take a few things form the ship? mostly to have some cool stuff to ware as a mermaid. unsure if they like jewelry are not? to ware to make them look pretty at times? "This is neat yet cool,do your people take any jewelry form the ships? I ask cause wonder what the lady's of the menfolks use. would it be okay if I take a few things?" she ask him while wanting to explore the ship's inside of it. but if he says no she would understand that just fine.

He listened to her and smiled "Take whatever you want, mermaids stick with shells and pearls... and silver... they don't have much love for gold... plus we're always told to not take more than we need so... there's always something left for others..." he was watching the surface as sea-life swam past and boats way above them sailed about oblivious to what was going on below.

"I am going to go look in the ship want to come? I'll be sure to leave only take what I like. I'd all ways like sliver more so I would not touch gold anyway." Maria says while starting to swim off to go inside of the ship. to find what sort of treasures it has. once she found a big enough hole in the old ship Maria swim's trough it. start's to look around at what things was inside of the ship. a few times she stop to look in each room for some fun. when she got to the captains room she found a lot of treasure inside of it. she slowly look's around it till she found a sliver bracelet with sea shell's on it. the new mermaid takes it put it on her right arm.

He'd wait for her where he had been, letting her explore alone. When she finally does come out there would be a small school of fish where he was swimming around him and she would probably be able to hear him talking but what he is saying isn't fully clear.

Maria swims out while holding necklace,the bracelet and had a new pair of earrings on. she only took 3 things that was it she left the rest a lone. for other so they can have something to take. she swims over to Raquel yet notice the school of fish. yet she could hear him talking to the fish but did not. understand a word he was saying to the fish at all she moves. her head in a confused way yet wish she had found. some nice old fabric to sew something up with. but had not seen anything at all that look like fabric.

He'd turn when he saw her "Is there anything in particular you want, the fish wanted to show you the corals." he laughed "i wish the pendant made you able to speak to them too, fish are very intelligent but rather cute too..." adding "Some of us have the gift to control them, like you saw my big sister do back at the aquarium"

Maria think's for a bit yet stay's quite for now trying. to think back if she wanted to do anything else are not? "No not really and aw the fish are so nice. I would like to see corals,I bet they are smart in deed. your family is so nice I wonder where your people live in?" she says to Raquel yet kept some of her other questions. back for now to not ask so much at one time of him.

He laughed grabbing her wrist and swimming after the fish showing her the deep sea coral reef he hoped she'd like it as they swam around he answered some of her other questions. "My family are a family, we fight but we look out for each other, we live in coral brick houses or sandstone houses, it may seem weird but the castle is just a giant coral mansion, it's basic magic to build them,"

"That sounds kind of cool to me,wow this is so cool looking. by the way what do merpeople eat? I'm so use to eating meat,fruits and vegetables as well fish." Maria says yet giggles she was happy to be able. to see so much as well swim with the fish's being able. to stay in the water how knows how may hours by now? but hope the fish would not get angry at her. about that she had eat other fish before on land it was normal.

He laughed "Seaweed, and lower rank fish... not all fish can talk... plus they accept it is the circle of life." he swirled around her smiling. "Just like many animals accept their place, human's are different... obviously"

Maria leans in close and kiss's Raquel on the lips softly for a little bit. then pull's away slowly yet blush's the hole time. but hope she was not moving to fast for him. "That is true and I'll have to learn what lower rank fish form high ranking fish then." she says in a soft yet small voice. her face was red form blushing.

He blushed too but followed her as she swam off. "Yes it's rather simple once you get the hang of it, lower ranking fish are not as colorful or big, but some of the small fish are high ranking if they are brightly colored..."
