Ares nodded as he waited for her to serve him his meal. He was happy. He had a lovely bride and a wonderful following and soon would announce to the world his intentions to keep her forever as his own bride. It was indeed a lovely time to be alive. Perhaps soon his bride would learn to love him as he wanted her to. He was afterall a handsome god. He had a lovely strong, masculine figure and handsome physic. She would learn to love him eventually of this he was sure. He ate the meal she had prepared with happiness enjoying every last bite of it. "Delicious food. Thank you Helena."

Staring around her Persephone watched them prepare for the feast with wide eyes wondering what they were celebrating. Finally she got the nerve up to go to Apollo and ask him. "What is the feast celebrating?" She waited for an answer as they continued to prepare. She chose not to eat meat out of respect for the gods holding meat as sacred and for the gods lips only.

Once more she bowed to him and took the dishes the food had made, leaving to return to the kitchen to check on her son who was still sleeping, she moved around the house to make sure everything was tidy and clean, she was glad he had enjoyed the meal, but part of her was still sad for being sacrificed. She kept to herself about it all.

He smiled to her and took her chin atop his forefinger, his thumb resting against her face as he did. "For you my dear," she probably wouldn't approve if he told her that he was doing it to upset Aphrodite further, she was by far the most beautiful woman to be sacrificed to him, he looked to his sister who sat 2 seats away from him and he sat Persephone between her and him. The children sat around his sister and Artemis served them first, which was probably odd for Persephone to see. Apollo served himself, mostly grapes and meat as he waited on Aphrodite to join them. Artemis didn't eat any of the meat.
