"This girl is getting on my nerves." Malicar said to himself as he saw her just walk away from him, crossing his arms. "This girl is hiding something important, and I want to know what it is." Malicar follows Inuyami from the top of the trees in the forest, hiding his scent and presence from her....

"Just who does he think he is!?" Inuyami grumbled to herself as she paced around the old campsite. The logs where still exactly where they had been the last time Inuyami had been there. Old burnt out embers still sat in the center of the burning circle. Inuyami sat down on one of the logs and began to pull the fuzzy flesh of the sweet fruit. Taking a large piece of juicy fruit meat, Inuyami took a large bite of the sweet Kokari. "I'm the one who's been here before, I'm one of the original people who fought off VIRUS to begin with. Die at the hands of a Swamp Kappa fledgling like that... pft!" She scoffed and took another, nearly barbaric, but if the fruit.

Malicar follows her to the campsite and hears her talking to herself. "And she thinks i'm insane..." Malicar sits down on the tree and relaxes, hearing and waiting for her to do something. All of a sudden, he hears her talk about Virus. "VIRUS? What is this....VIRUS and why does it sound so familiar? Hmmmm" Malicar sits back and thinks to himself about VIRUS. He then realizes that he doesn't remember anything that has happened in the last few years, like his mind just erased everything. "I have to know what happened to me these few years and it seems this girl knows. When she goes to sleep, that's when I'll make my move."

The day went on as usual days do, and soon the sun was setting in the digital world. Inuyami tossed a few chunks of wood on the fire before she sighed heavily. She looked up to the start peppered sky and longed for the answers only time would be able to give her.

"Oh brother... why on world did you ever create this place..." Hanging her head Inuyami retired to a run down fort made of sturdy branches and thick leaves.

When Inuyami got to the fort, Malicar was already getting tired from waiting for her to go to bed and he got off from top of a tree and ran behind a tree trunk and watched her, waiting for the perfect time to attack her and force her to answer about this VIRUS thing.

When Inuyami turned her back, Malicar ran toward her, gripping his knife and grabbed her from behind, knife to her throat. "What is VIRUS that you speak of? And why can't I remember anything in the last few years? Was it because of them?"

"You really got some nerve stalking me and attacking me like this." Her head still hung, Inuyami stood perfectly still as she stared blankly at the ground. He'd done it this time, Malicar has crossed his final boundry. In a moment, Inuyami did a spining drop kick and swept Malicar's feet out from underneith him, landing him on his back. With a firm foot, Inuyami pinned him down using her demonic aura and her natural weight. "How dare you accuse my brother when it's your fault he's dead!" She barked down at him with pure hatred in her eyes.

Malicar was shocked that she could move like that and a little turned on to be honest. He lied there on the ground and had Inuyami finish what she was saying to him, trying to figure out answers. "I followed you because I know you have been hiding something and I want in! I don't remember half of my life and i want to know why. And I didn't even know you had a brother so how could I have killed him?" Malicar looks in her eyes and sees her hatred. "If your gonna kill me, do it. Don't just threaten me and do nothing about it."

"If I wanted you dead I'd of killed you already." Inuyami spat on the ground before lifting her foot off of Malicar's chest."I didn't recongnise you with your new face... Are you here spying for VIRUS again... SHIN?" She knew he probably wouldn't remember the name he used to go by, but it would be a start at jogging his memory.

"SHIN?" Malicar gets up yells at Inuyami. "Did that fruit you eat poison the little brain of yours? My name is Malicar, a proud a fierce Lorigian! I'm not this...SHIN character you speak of." He scuffs off some dirt. "Now do you know why i lost my memory or you just wasting my time?"

"The only time being wasted here is mine. I should be home... I should be selling my paintings to a museum not stuck here with you. It should be me asking you why I'm here, no you demanding to know about the evils you've done!" Inuyami growled, she flexed her claws in anger but had no intent on attacking him. "You may be Malicar, a Lorigian now, but I will never forget nor forgive the things you've done, Shin... servent of VIRUS!"

"I have no idea what you are talking about. Your just a crazy wolf girl, hopped on poisonous juice from that fruit." Malicar backs up and is still in confusion and thinks that Inuyami was lying to him about her the entire time. "Wait, didn't you say this was your territory a while back? What do you mean 'back home' if this is your home?"

(Malicar only knows about the Digital World, doesn't know he's actually someone else from another world.)

"I assure you I be not crazed nor poisoned." Inuyami told him rolling her eyes to think that he would think so little of her. "Are you really that stupid or just trying to piss me off? Fine, whatever, I'll humor you. This is The Room a digital world created by my brother, Garrie.. remember, your best friend who you killed!" She bared her teeth about ready to growl at him but held it back.

Malicar bursts out laughing at Inuyami. "You really think this world was created by your "brother" and I was his "best friend?"Please." Malicar starts to laugh again but then looks at her face to realize she is actually serious and growling at him. "Wait, you actually serious about all this??" Malicar gets serious again. "Well if your serious, then who is this VIRUS then and why can't I remember all of these things that I did if you speak the truth?"

Solemnly, Inuyami looked at the ground and tried to put the truth and what she figured had happened into words. After the final trip home, Inuyami hadn't heard from any of her new friends. They had all exchanged email addresses and when she wrote to them, she never recieved any reply. She hadn't considered the thought that everyone had gotten their memories erased of the whole even, but now standing infront of the man formerly know as Shin, it had to be the only explaination.

"To answer your questions we'll have to start at the begining." Inuyami lifted her head and looked around the forest, then to the stars. "Come into the hut won't you?" She asked as she motioned to the door of the small building she was going to enter before she's been attacked from behind. Walking in before him, not waiting for an answer, Inuyami let the large leaf door swing down behind her.

There wasn't much to be seen inside the small hut. There was enough room for the makeshift leaf bed and a couple of logs that had been used as seats. Inuyami picked lit a lantern fueled by the sap of the Mannary trees next to the Walooga mud hole. Dim orange light filled the building. The dog demoness took a seat on the bed of leaves and waited for Malicar to enter.

Trying hard not to show kindness to this girl, he looked around to see if anyone knows he's there and entered the hut. When he entered, Inuyami was sitting on what looked like a bed and he sat on the ground, crossing his legs and arms, keeping a keen eye on her.

After a few moments of silence, Malicar finally speaks. "So in the past, I was this Shin character and we are both people from another world?"

"I'll come to all of that." Inuyami said as she sighed a bit. It was going to be a long story. She began by telling him exactly what The Room was and that her brother was the programer who created the digital world. Then she told him how VIRUS had been born out of a simple bianary code flaw and that her brother had to enter The Room to fix it, but he wasn't the only one suck into the world beyond the computer screen. "You see, when you and my brother, Garrie, got here... VIRUS turned you two against each other by erasing both of your memories. You looked a lot different then... black hair and thin as a twig..."

Malicar tries to sink everything in at once and understand it but is having a tough time realizing that he wasn't the same person in earlier years. Black hair and thin? Are my memories real or are they just made up? Malicar thought to himself. Trying not to get consumed in thinking his life was meaningless, he listens to more of Inuyami's story......

"After VIRUS got ahold of you, you became his loyal servant, feeding off his power to strengthen you own. It consumed you." Inuyami told Malicar."Soon after that, VIRUS' needed more pawns in his game. He sent the same worm hole email to a few people and brought them here, me having been one of them. We all did our best to trap VIRUS for good... but the final battle... It was all we could do just to seal him away for as long as we did, but I never expected us to end up here again." As Inuyami spoke, she remembered all the time she'd spent with the previous group of people who'd been brought to The Room. She wondered if they two would be joining Malicar and herself here again. And if they were, when would they be re-swallowed by the horrible place. Inuyami became lost in her thoughts

"So let me get this straight...." Malicar began to speak. "You, me...well other me, your brother, and other people from another world got sucked into a 'worm hole' and fought off this VIRUS for a time being and got it captured and now it has come back and sucked us all up again? Seems as though u did a shitty job defeating it." Malicar pumps out his chest and points out his thumb to his face, smiling miniachly. He spits on the ground, "If i was in your shoes, I would of killed that thing and make sure it never came back!" Malicar stands up and gets excited. "Where is this thing so I can finish what you have started!" He rolls his arm around, stretching it then kneels down and back up still stretching. "I've been looking for an opponent that was as strong as me!"

"Sit down you fool!" Inuyami barked at Malicar in anger. "If you had half a brain you would realise how impossible that is, especially since you don't know who you're dealing with!" Her eyes held his in a serious tone. "Can't you remember even the last time we fought him? Don't you think that if we could of killed him we would have? If you think you're so strong and mighty, his caves are that way. I won't be going with you." Inuyami pointed in the direction of the beach yet slightly westernly.

Inside Inuyami's head, the scenes of the final battle played out in her head. She saw her friends fall to the hands of VIRUS as well as herself. The view of watching Shin peirce Garrie's heart... before she had realised it she had tears running down her face and landing on the skin of her legs where her skirt had slid off. Her lip quivered but she fought back the sobs the welled up within her chest. A deep sigh escaped her before she exited the small hut without another word to Malicar. She stood outside, alone and cried silently into her hands under the starlit moonless sky.

"What a cry baby." Malicar said in his head as he walked outside of the hut seeing that Inuyami is sobbing. Malicar starts to head in the direction she told him to go and then looks back to see her sobbing still. Walking even slower, he looks down on the ground, hand on his head, hoping he won't feel guilty for hurting her feelings. Walks a few more steps then looks back at her. Malicar sighs and lets his hands down on his side again and walks toward Inuyami, now feeling worse.

Malicar stands near her and attempts to pat her back but fails. These feelings are hard for him to express for he never have shown emotion before. He then gets awkward and crosses his arms. He says, "You going to sob all night?" Malicar didn't mean to make it sound mean but it's what he's comfortable with. He hangs his head back in failure and then back forward, pretending he never felt emotions for her...

Inuyami turned harshly and gave Malicar a look of malic and death. How could this man be so cruel!? The thought ran through her head. She hated him and she wanted like anything to take his life. He may not remember being Shin, but his heart was just as cold as it ever had been.

"JUST GO!" Inuyami finally screamed at him. Her sorrow and pain filed voice echoed of the trees and sent slumbering birds and animals fleeing. She had had enough of him and the way he treated her. Why did he have to fallow her back to camp, why did he have to be brought back here with her and her along, why was he aloud to live on when her brother was so savagely murdered? Her thought were making her crazy and she couldn't stand to be near Malicar another moment. She darted off into the wood, using her enhanced speed to hasten her self.

She had no plans on where she was going she just had to get away. Inuyami ran and ran until mental exaustion cause her feet to get clumsy, and she collapsed in the tall grass of the fields next to the lake.

Knowing he made her mad, Malicar saw Inuyami yell at him and storm off in a random direction. "My god, there is no pleasing this woman...." He muttered to himself. He closes his eyes and shrugs his shoulders, not caring to chase her. He starts to head down the tiny trail out and head toward the direction she told him the VIRUS was but then he stops and realizes something important. He has no idea what to look for or what it looks like. He looks up and closes his eyes and says, "Fuck!" in frustration, knowing he has to look for Inuyami for she is the only one who knows what it is. He puts his head down and heads in the direction of where Inuyami went, following her scent and the trail she left behind. Being so consumed by emotions she got clumsy in making her presence untraceable.

He gets to the tall grass and sees her on the ground. He gets to her and gets on one knee. "Listen, you may not like me and I may not like you but your the only one who knows where this VIRUS character is and what it looks like so unless you want me around you all your life, you have to pull it together." Malicar gets up and puts out his hand to help her up.

Inuyami hadn't sences Malicar's approach and when he spoke he startled her. Turning to look at him with wet eyes, the stars reflected in the tears that she tried to hold back.

"I can't... my brother... all the others... we'll die just the two of us. Don't you see? We're stuck here until the psycho in the mountains makes him first move!" Inuyami took Malicar's hand and got up on her feet. Using the back of her hand she did her best to dry her face though she refused to make eye contact with the man before her. At least he'd shown some humility, it was a start but there was still a long way to go.

"Listen, don't think i'm getting all gushy on you or anything but your better than this. Your sobbing and crap. You gotta suck it up and face your fears." Malicar turns his back to her and takes a step forward. "You just pinned down me a little while ago and now your all 'I can't do this!'" Bah! Your just afraid! If being a Lorigian has taught me anything is to never fear and just do what you must." Malicar turns and faces Inuyami. "Well now that that's over, you coming with me or not?"
