Lance was eating a late lunch up in her room. He didn't get out too much, fighting for the king was all he knew. For the most part he was a cold bitter man, but he wasn't always like that. His room was almost empty, he only had a bed and a lot of floor room. He practiced his moves inside so that the other people of the kingdom would try to exile him. Most were not use to his kind being around, so he had to keep quiet most the time. He just finished and he herad a knock on the door. "Yea come in" He said and stood up. A gentleman walked in and handed him a note. "King says he needs you right away, sir" Lance nodded at the guy, and said "On my way, thank you." Something just didnt seem right.

The whole court was running around trying to make sence of what had happen to the princess. The queen was very upset that the king had send her to the bed chambers. Cheria's father, King Richard had send the letter out and waiting for the knight to show up. He already had plan to send out some spies to track down his precious daughter and her kidnappers. This was something he had feared from the enemy. The other kingdom had been making threads against his kingdom and family if he didn't give up something bad would happen. But he never thought they would take Cheria. Richard clears the court while he paces infront of his throne waiting for the knight to show up so he could explain what has happen.

Lance walked the halls and was headed toward the court. He knew something was up, he just finished a job and usually the king gives him time to rest up. He opened the door and walked on in. "You summoned me sir." Lance said as he got closer to the passing king. He got to his place on the steps and knelt down like usual. He wasn't going to let any task set him back, he would complete it no matter what and that why he was top in line for the king.

The king turns hearing the young man enter. He felt guilt for sending him away when he just got back but this was different. Richard walks back to his throne and sits down. "Yes I did. I'm sorry that you haven't got to relax after your last mission." stops as he looks down and closes his eyes. "But this...there is no easy away to say this...my daughter, Princess Cheria has been kidnapped..." Richard opens his eyes and looks back up at Lance. "So I already send spies out to follow her and her kidnappers. But I already know who did this...my brother, Duke Dion...." Rubbing his head. "He knows about Cheria's special gift...and I think he wants to use her...to take over the kingdom" The king stands up from his throne and crosses his arms over his chest.

Lance heard the king speak and his eyes shut with a downward tilt of his head. He knew she had a gift, like he did, but like all the others he didn't know what she could do. "The time to relax will be after Princes is returned." He said looking back up at the king again. "You know I will not let you down sir, She will be back soon. Any leads to where?" He asked hopping that the king would have an idea for him so he could act right away. Lance's power was unique on its own, thus the reason for his room to be on the ground floor so he could practice without startling the rest of the kingdom.

Richard nods listening to him "Yes I agree...please bring the light of hope back to the kingdom. She is the only one that can save the kingdom before the wrong hands use her to destroy the lands." He could trust this man enough to finally tell him about his daughter's powers. "I receive word that they are heading west to the Lastina Port. I'm not sure if there is a ship waiting...but you need to go before she is taking aboard. One thing is sure you need to know about the princess's powers...like yours. Hers is unique...she has the gift of life...she can heal anyone from the end of death. But in the wrong has her powers can also take away life. She rarely uses it but she is aware of her powers. So that's all you need to know." Richard looks at him knew not many people knew a bit only in the royal family. So does his brother but he still sure if that was truly it. "Go and please bring back my daughter before something bad happens."

Meanwhile the princess was still under a spell to keep her asleep but now it was starting to wear off. Cheria groans a little as she comes too. She opens her eyes as she felt like she was living. And the sounds of the water drawing closer. Where ever she was she wasn't home. She barely remember what happen to her. Last thing she remember she was in the gardens with her bodyguard before she felt lightheaded. And the last thing she saw was her bodyguard being murdered and the blood covering her dress before she passed out. Cheria gasp before she sits up quickly but she could hardly move cause her hands and feet was tied up.

"Ah...I see you are finally awake princess..." a voice to her side spoke. As it was familiar to her before she looks over at the male. "Uncle!? what....what's going on? Why am I tied up like this?" her voice was very shakey cause she was still under the effects of the spell. "Your father ignore my warnings...he should have gave up. Now I took what is very special from your family and people." Dion smirks devilishly. "And you my dear niece...will never see your kingdom again..." The wagon stops at the docks and her uncle leaves to talk to people infront of a ship. Cheria didn't know what he meant by that and she trys to listen to what seems like two other males talking to Dion. But it was a different langange she didn't know.

Lance nodded. "I will get her back as fast as I can." He said and started walking fast out of the room. He found his horse and started riding. The Docks were not to far away so he might catch them. He also knew once they got away from land his power would be useless until they stuck land again where ever that was. He rode the horse as fast as he could get it to, but for him it wasn't fast enough. The border of the river was coming into view and he sighed thankfully as the boats started to come into view as well.

One of Dion's guards come running up to his master. "Lord Dion it seems that your brother has send someone after Princess Cheria. We must go before he catches up." Dion turns and looks at the guard and nods "Ok get her we leave now!" says before boarding onto the ship with the others. The guards run over to the wagon and grabs Cheria. She screams out when she is dragged out of the wagon. "Let me go!" screams. She kicks one of the guards in the face as Dion didn't mind if they got abusive a little. As one who Cheria kicked, he slapped her across the face before they take her on board. As already they was setting the sails and the ship slowly pulls away from the port.

Lance was still far enough away when he spotted the ship moving. He cursed under his breath and kept riding. He reached the port and got off his horse running toward one of the few guards still ashore he grabbed him by the shirt and hit him once. "Where they taking the girl" he asked. With no reply he slammed his fist into the guys stomach this time. "Where is she!!" He screamed. His anger was pulling his power forward as a few rocks behind him started to float in the air. His power was elemental, the power to controle earth.

Lance held the guy as he spoke. "OH you bas..." He closed her eyes for one second, and when he opened them they were pure Tan in color. "You have pissed me off, now you die." Lance had a smirk on his face, and suddenly spikes shot up out of the ground in the area. Once they went back into the ground his eyes shifted back, and he shook his head. 'Long way around, unless its shallow... Ill ride the banks' He smirked again and started sprinting toward the water. Once at the bank he took a leap but didn't go too far, mud shooting up out of the water and he started moving. It wasn't going to get him straight there, but it would go faster than his horse.

It didn't take the boat long to get to the next dock across the waters. The princess was still under another spell so she wouldn't be so wild went they finally dock. It still was five days until they reach the mage tower where the blood mages live. Of course they knew that knight wouldn't be that far behind so they already made plans on stoping the knight by trying to cut off that which gave his power. But it was hard there was rarely a spell that could stop earth magic unless water was around them.

Lance was enough out of the way that he had lost the boat, but he knew he had to keep treading the shallow water until he for the boat once again. It was a good hour when he finally saw a blimps of a dock, he had been pushing himself but he couldn't let down at all. He was starting to ware out slowly but that didn't stop him, he hit ground but he was too late, they were gone. "Damn it!" He yelled looking around spotting someone walking down a small path. Running to the person he questioned them and took off down the path some more, he now knew where she was going and it wouldn't be pleasant when she got there, he had to hurry. Catching his breath once again and he had a strange feeling in his gut, he started walking right when he got surrounded. "Oh come on" be said looking at all the guards that were there. "Shall we dance or would you rather give up now?" He asked with a smirk across his face.
