Tony was working on anchoring one side of the hammock. He seen as Rissa walked around, not sure what else he could do to make her feel better. Hearing her comment, he looked over at her with a big smile. "Thank you.. but I'm just me. I'm nothing special" he said with a chuckle. He was one that would do anything to help anyone out no matter what. He went back and streached the hammock out anchoring the other side as well. When he got done he tried it out to make sure it was safe. He got out and looked at her again. "All yours if you want to lay in the sun" he was happy again.

Rissa nervously looked at the hammock. Of course, she really did want to lay in it, but she also felt burdensome because of Tony's kindness even as she was touched by it. Finally she took her book over to the hammock and lay down. "Maybe you're nothing special, but you're a very different person to me," she murmured. She turned the page of her book, but she couldn't get back into looking at it. She felt like she needed to try to be social. Speaking louder, she continued, "What plants are in your garden?"

Tony didn't know what to say but he didn't do anything just back away a bit. "I meant to put it up a while back, seemed like a good time." He finally said plainly. To him, he was trying to be nice but could he be over doing it? He didn't want to come across as a jerk, that's what he didn't like to be. "I got tomatoes, cucumbers, Basil, and some lettus." He said pointing at each row. He tried to be nice again and moved her little bag closer to her because she left it where she was sitting. "I don't mean to be a bother" he added softly and started walking back toward the house.

Rissa smiled as Tony talked about his vegetables. He seemed to really enjoy gardening. "I really like tomatoes," she said, then thanked him as he moved her bag closer. That was such a thoughtful thing to do. She hadn't even realized she'd left it. Her smiled drooped slightly with what he said next though. "Ah, n-no. You're not a bother. Just...do I act strangely? I don't know how to react to such kindness." Her voice was soft and she sat up in the hammock so and held her knees to her chest, normally a hard feat in hammock, but her cat grace enabled it. She realized this situation wasn't just difficult for her, but for both of them. Both were awkward and unsure of how to treat the other.

"Its something thats helps out in the long run." He siad. Tony stopped in his tracks and took in what she said. "Your not storage" he said turning around and headed towards her. The breeze was kicking up which made the air cool. "Your the first person that I have tried to do anything with after my sister left. I apologize if my kindness comes off strong. To be honest I missed company, and wouldn't want to scare you off because I was too kind." Tony sighed. He didn't know what she really thought, he was trying too hard to make her feel at home. He stood the looking down at her, she was something special, something you never got to see too often and he didn't want to scare her off.

Rissa's tail curled around her as she watched Tony. She listened to his words before looking down to pluck at her shirt. She looked back up at him and offered a shy smile. She was really touched by his words and she wanted to be the good sort of company that he missed. "I think..." she started hesitantly. "I think maybe we should just act naturally with each other? Isn't that what both of us really want? A normal relationship?"

Tony smiled "Natural, yes, a normal friend ship. I want to know you, hear some of the things you have been through. Well the ones you want to share that is.." He quickly said. His hand went up and brushed through his hair, letting the wind take it in the breeze. Tony offered her his hand. "I'm Tony, Please to meet you" He said with a slight chuckle. He thought that if he just started over, he could make it work this time. A good friendship would work, if things went more then he would figure that out later.

At first Rissa didn't follow when Tony introduced himself again, but then she smiled. It was like saying they were allowed to forget their previous awkwardness. She took his hand. "I'm Rissa. It is a pleasure." She didn't feel at all awkward with this friendliness. It felt normal in its own way even if it was new to her. She wasn't yet ready to share her secrets, but she did like the idea of talking. "Should we maybe go inside and eat a snack and talk?" she suggested.

"Yes it is indeed" Tony looked pleased that she was happy with the idea. "That sounds good, I am getting a bit hungry" He backed up and waited for her. "I Think there is some cheese, and milk if that sounds good." He was thinking back, and he didn't want to push, may take more as she suggested. "Whats your favorite food?" He asked. Tony opened the back door, so she could walk in. He took a sigh. He could make a friend, thats what he wanted most, and well a cat girl is kind of cute.

Rissa's ears perked up and she brightened at the idea of milk and cheese. She chuckled a bit as she followed Tony into the house. "You've got to remember, I'm a cat, even if I look mostly like a girl. I really do like things like milk and fish and chicken!" she exclaimed. She did a little twirl as she walked though the door so she was facing him. "I'm simple like that," she added with a little wink.

Tony smiled at her reaction, this seemed to be working so far. "Well I will surely remember that." He said shutting the door behind them. He walked to the fridge and grabbed a block of cheese and the gallon of milk. Placing them on the table he grabbed some glasses and a knife. "Small slices or thick ones?" He asked befor he started cutting it.

Rissa shrugged at Tony's question. The specifics didn't matter to her. "Which ever." After pausing for a second, she had something like a revelation. "I'm thinking...you're the sort that really likes cats right?" she asked suddenly. She sat down at the table and poured herself a glass of milk. "Such luxury!" she exclaimed quietly to herself.

"I do enjoy cats.." Tony said with a smile as he started cutting thin slices of cheese. "To be honest I always Wanted a cat, Finding you kinda makes me smile." he said his face getting a bit red. AShe was something different, a cat and human, who would argue about someone like that. He hoped he would freak her out for how odd he can sound without thinking before he sopke some time.

Rissa chuckled behind her hand. "I'm glad I make you smile. You make me smile to!" she said. She didn't think hard about the words she was saying, just let whatever she was feeling come out. To her, such expressions weren't strange and they didn't mean anything. "Honestly I'm just glad I was found by someone who appreciates cats and pets in general. Not everyone is such a good owner." She frowned for a second, but she whisked the expression off her face for her usual pleasant smile.

Tony's face got red as he heard her comment. "Your welcome. I wouldn't be able to hurt a pet.. that's just crule." He said handing her some more cheese. "Eat up, I may go for a small walk in a bit" he added. He didn't know if she would go with him or not, but he hoped she would. He just didn't want to crowd her too much again.

Rissa accepted the cheese with a word of thanks. Her tail waved happily as she hummed a little melody. When Tony mentioned a walk, her ears perked up slightly. "Really? Are there good places around here to walk?" she asked. Despite having wandered around the streets for a couple weeks, she didn't have a good idea of what the streets were like. It was different when they were home. But since it wasn't raining like yesterday, a walk could be pleasant.

Tony looked over at her and smile. "There is a small park a few blocks down the road." he said knowing it had a fountain on one said of it. "If we go we can his the main court for lunch." he said as he got to his feet, and noticed her tail that was wagging. "I don't know, but is your tail ok to just walk the street with?" he asked kinda confused but he wanted her to be safe. She was the first one of her kind he saw, so he wan't sure if there were others other there that he didn't know about.

Rissa was excited, then paused at his question. She turned to look at her tail with a puzzled look. "I...don't know. Am I really that strange?" she asked. Tony didn't seem to treat her differently than any other human, but she didn't know if that would hold true for everyone. "I honestly haven't had much interaction with people." She felt hesitant now that she realized it was possible that people would dislike her because of being a cat.

"strange is going a bit far" Tony said looking over at her. "I like your tail don't get me wrong..some people might not" he said knowing how some people could be "Maybe tuck it under a skirt?" He asked the idea just popping in his head. He didn't want something like this to bother having a good time with her, and he really did enjoy her being there. Her ears would be easy to cover, he got to his feet and went into the other room for a few minuets. "Try this on//" he said placing an outfit on the table beside where she was sitting, he knew his sisters wardrobe too well.

Rissa sighed and fiddled with her tail while Tony left the room. She wondered if maybe she should just skip the walk for now. Another day might be better; she was content to sit by herself and read after all. But after all this effort, it seemed she might disappoint Tony if she backed out now. When he came back, she looked through the clothes and nodded. "These will be good...I think," she said and stood to go change.

The clothes consisted of a long skirt that didn't suit the warm weather and a cute hat with a flower stuck on the side of it. Rissa arranged the hat so her ears fit comfortably under it and wrapped her tail around one leg, hoping it would be still for a while. When she was satisfied, she walked back into the kitchen.

"It's good?" she asked Tony.

Tony stood there as she walked away, he was happy and hoped the outfit worked. He didn't mind waiting at all, and the walk might help less some time as well. When she came back, a smile grew on his face "you look cute" he said not thinking before he spoke. The hat looked like it would work perfect but he didn't know how the skirt would go. "We will just take a small walk today" he added turning away so she couldn't see his face getting a bit red.

A small blush came to Rissa's face as well. "T-thank you. You're the first person to call me cute," she said with a hesitant expression on her face. But she did like the attention. She wondered if this was how people were supposed to interact with each other. It felt very pleasant. Heading for the door, she smiled at Tony as she passed him. "I hope this walk goes well."
