Hana was taking a walk around the town she lives in yet. had a basket on her right arm it look like. the teenager had been shopping today maybe for her parents? her light purple hair was pulled up at the top leaving the rest of her hair. to hang down to the middle of her back. yet wish her parents would stop telling her to try find a suitor for her. she stops at a stand selling all sort's of fabric's. "May I take a look at this one please?" she ask the seller pointing to a soft fabric in the color of purple. Hana had been looking to make her Mother a gift.

Well well well, what do we have here? Kärlek thought to himself as he peered down upon the village from his perch on top of the temple. The town streets were fairly busy today, and a young girl had caught his eye. Virtue was rolling off of her in waves, just begging him to lead her astray. He stepped off the roof, landing gracefully as he headed towards the fabric stand. His dress pants and shirt stuck out from the traditional Japanese garb that the villagers were wearing, as he was impersonating a Sweetish tourist at the moment and not a townsfolk.
"I think that would look lovely with you eyes, miss." He spoke. Taking the fabric from the shop keep and draping it around the girls neck. The owner gave him a disapproving look, until two silver coins were placed on his stand. |
"Oh do you really think so?" Hana ask the foreign man but gasp a little. when he had bought her the fabric wondering. why would he do this for her? yet started to walk away form the fabric stand afterwords. she still had some more shopping still. but she had wanted to get the fabric for her mother not. for her self it would seem so unfair whit her mom's. birthday coming up soon even so she did not want to trust someone. that was a stranger to her plus if he wanted the fabric he could have it.
Hana was teach not to trust stranger's form other country's. her parents warned her they mighty try kidnap her are worst. try sell her off as a slave to someone else in some country. so far she still needs to buy some veg tables plus some bread. at lest she had bought other things that her father ask her to buy. but wanted to buy some yummy sweets to have for a snack. |
Kärlek paused for a moment, watching as the girl walked away. The shop keep chuckled at him, but an icy glare from the daemon stopped his laughter. Brushing off the girls indifference, he followed suit, quickly falling in step with her. "Do parents not teach their children manners in Japan?" He inquired, a smirk playing across his lips as he looked down at the girl. "In Sweden, one usually offers their thanks when someone buys them a gift."

Hana did not listen to the man yet keeps quite till. she get's to a other shop stall start to pull out a list form her basket. "I'm sorry sir but my parents teach me never to take. anything form stranger's even if they buy it for me but thank you any way. please leave me a long I hope you have a good day." she says to him trying to get the foreign man to leave her a lone. Hana then look's at the list while sighing out wishing her mom. had not put natto on the list it was so gross looking plus slimey.

"I see, your parents must be very smart indeed." He said, his voice pleasant despite his annoyance. "Well, if I weren't a stranger?" He asked, as he continued to stay by her side. "I think if we introduced ourselves, than we would no longer be strangers, correct? My name, miss, is Kärlek. Yours?"
She seemed adamant on ignoring him, more preoccupied with her shopping list. "What bothers you so?" He asked, feigning concern. |
"My Mother had to put fermented bean item on the list. My name is Hana and it is nice to meet you Mr.Kärlek." Hana says while looking for said item she found it in a small box. she picks it up then pay's the seller the money for that item. put down in to her basket carefully so the box would not break. she still had to buy more things form this seller she notice there was some azuki beans. maybe her mother wanted to make some sweet beans buns?

"Likewise, miss Hana." He said, looking at the human food. It all looked rather unappetizing to him. A shiver ran down his spine, and Karlek gazed about the shop, his eyes falling on a handsome young Japanese boy, laughing with two girls, his arms around their waists. They locked eyes for a moment, and the man raised a brow at him. Karlek rolled his eyes, recognizing the daemon. He was sure he wouldn't be seeing those two women again.
He didn't like the challenge the other had sent him, he liked to take his time with his...prey. This one would be hard to win over, though he could easily drag her away if he wanted to... But that took the fun out of things. "Would you like some assistance with your things?" He offered, a charming smile on his face. |
Hana keeps on buying a few more things on her list till she. got everything on the list then sighs out softly. she notice there was at least some left over money to bring back. to her parents so they would be happy she did not spend all of it. "Oh yes I would I seem to have run out of room. in my basket these things can get quite heavy at times." she says to the man with a small smile on her face to him. hoping he would not mind carrying some of the stuff to her home. at lest her parents would be happy to meet someone new. that maybe someday try court for there daughter's hand in marriage at lest. that is what her parents would think of and hope for.

Karleck held the basket as the girl continued shopping around. How tedious it must be to have to pay for things. He smirked to himself as she finally finished up and began leading him to her home. "You're parents must be so proud to have raised such a helpful daughter." He said, "Do they always let you do the errands.. alone?" He asked, raising a brow in question.

"No not all the time just once in a while my older brother is coming home soon. but my parents are busy with there own things." Hana says while walking near the outskirts of the village. away form the main part village her Father work's all day long. when he is not taking a break form being a black smith. people as well demons came to him at times for new tools are weapons.

"Ah, brother?" He said, interested. Now that made things more interesting. Especially if he managed to recognize him for what he was. "So, you do not live in the village? That's a far walk my dear. One as pretty as yourself should not be forced to make such a trip." He said, the hairs on his neck starting to stand - alerting him to the presence of another daemon.
"You should not play with your food!" The deamon shouted, jumping out from behind a tree, charging at Hana. Karleck swiftly stepped in front of her, falling into a fighting stance as he aimed a kick at the deamon. "You shall not feast today! Monster." He said, putting on a show for the girl as the deamon stood, getting ready to attack again. He was angry now, and Karleck was not to be messed with when angry. As the deamon attacked again, Karleck fought him off again, until it decided to give up - disappearing in a puff of smoke. Turning towards Hana, he slowly walked over to her, as to not scare her. "Are you all right, M'lady?" He asked. |
Hana got sacred when the demon jump out at them trying to go after her. but wonder what the demon meant by playing with your food? could Karleck-san be a demon? but he look like a normal human to her. if so why was he being so nice to her for? "Yes I'm fine but what did that demon mean? but I like the long walk we only live a few miles away form the village. my mother run's a small farm raising some animals." she says to Karleck truth be tolled both her parents had there own job's.
Hana would help her mother out with the animals. even with the house work even chores,run errands. she her self had not pick out a job yet. the teen needs to pick out a job of some type soon. her bother was going to help there father with his blacksmith job but what. could she Hana do? other then cooking are cleaning? this was a part of life in japan you need to think. about what you'll do with your life before your a adult. |
Karleck nodded as they continued walking. "I wouldn't worry about it my dear, he wanted to make a meal out of you - I'm sure he only said such things to confuse us."
"I'm sure your mother does a fine job of that. Will you be joining her in taking care of the farm when you're older? Or do you have other plans?" He asked, feigning interest. |
"I'm not sure as of yet I still need to find a job. but I'm not sure what I am good at." Hana says while she only had a few skill's not that many. maybe she could try learn sewing? try be a seamstress? ((sorry for the short post can't think))

Karleck had the girl unconscious, sitting in his living room chair. He walked around the table, watching the girl. She had been a fun target, though not vary interesting. He had bumped into her in the marketplace on his way to see Hana... He smiled at the thought of her, but it soon turned into a smirk when he walked over to the girl as she began to wake.
"Hello darling." He said, she made to scream, but his hand was upon her mouth before she could. "Shh, shh.. It'll be okay." He didn't realize that he had left his door open when he brought the girl in, and he wasn't about to check - he was too engrossed in the process. Bending down, his teeth turned into fangs as he bit down on the girls neck, sucking up her blood and her life energy. |
Hana had not seen Karleck in a few day's now she wonder if he had been busy? she walks off to his house with a basket filled with home made goods. once she got to his house she notice his front door was wide open. she walks in thinking it was okay to do so. Hana walks in to his livening room yet gasp out loudly. he was sucking on a other woman's neck she was shock by this. "Karleck why are you doing that to her for?" she ask him in a shock tone of voice her hair was pulled up today. she had a violet purple kimono on with ume's all over it.

At the sound of Hana's voice, he pulled away from the girl's neck. Blood dripping down his chin as his fangs retreated. 'Uh oh' he thought. Hana wasn't supposed to see this. He'd have to do some damage control.
"My dear Hana." He said, running faster than the eye could see the close the door behind her. He locked it, turned back and looking at the girl curiously. "You look so lovely today, with your hair out of your pretty face." His wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, careful not to get blood on his gray suit. "Now, I know this must look...strange... But I needed to steal this poor girls energy or else I would die... You wouldn't want that, now would you?" He asked, taking her basket from her and placing it on the table in front of the girl who slumped forward in her seat. He'd have to come clean now. |
"No I don't want you to died but you have trick me. in to thinking you where a human since we first met months ago. how could you just lie to me like this when your really a demon." Hana says to Karleck in a upset tone of voice that sound a bit broken. truth be tolled she had started to fall in love with him slowly since they first met in the village. yet she could feel her face starting to turn red with a blush coming on to her face. why did he have to look so handsome for? he made her heart flutter even if she is in her late teen years.
Yet he all ways knew just the right choice of words to complaint her. "Thank you and the basket has some home made food items in it for you. I made them my self for you. since you had not come to see me for a while I got worried about you. thinking you mighty have been sick I'm sorry for walking in like this. to your home if the door had been closed I would have knock on it first." she says trying to explain the reason why she had came over for. it was all just to see him out of her being worried about Karleck. her voice was still broken sounding she was a bit sacred unsure what he. would do with her now that she knows he is a demon. |
Karleck smiled at Hana, opening the basket to have a peek inside. Taking out one of the handkerchiefs he began to carefully wipe his hands clean of the blood. His goal all along had been to earn the girls trust, to take her like he had the girl currently sitting at his dining room table, cold and dead.
"I'm sure it's all delicious." He said. Thinking on her words for a moment. She wanted him to erase her memory? She didn't want to run away from him? Tell her family and the villagers? Walking towards her, he grasped her hand, bringing it up to his chest as he directed her into another room. Hana was delicate, innocent... She wouldn't want to look upon the body. 'Why do you care?' he thought. He didn't have an explanation for himself. "Darling girl, demons lie..." He said, his voice somber "Are you sure this is what you want? To forget about this?" He hoped she said yes, so he wouldn't have to do it against her will. 'I thought the chase was fun?' his inner voice mocked him. His lips curled down, frowning as he turned away from her. |
Hana he walks over to Karleck then pull's him in close to her. she starts to kiss him on his lips lovingly for a good five minutes. after the five minutes past by she breaks the kiss quickly. "I am in Love with You! I don't want to lose my memory's to forget about this at all. can't we try to figure out something? I am sorry for saying this so suddenly I just had to get that off of my chest." Hana ask him softly her voice had been filled with emotions that. she rarely showed to others but how could a demon and human be together? that is if he like her back if not what would he do with her then?
