That made Jade very happy, to know that they would see each other again if he wanted to. And he very much wanted to, so far at least. That bright smile had gotten even brighter when Byron spoke those words, but then it faltered slightly, and Jade looked down at his lap. Toying with the sleeve of his shirt. "Everyone's always intimidated by who my father is. He's a frightening person, so I can't blame them.." Jade hesitated for a moment, though that smile returned and he looked up from his lap. "So I moved out here, far away from him and his influence. I thought maybe a cafe would attract people and I could make a lot of friends, but so far no one's really seemed to notice it. That's alright, I probably just need to advertise better."
Those eyes blinked and he turned his head to look out the window. None of this was familiar to him, but instead of that making him nervous, it only made him more excited. "Oh. I hadn't been to this part of town yet." He said the words, as if they had just started some great, amazing adventure. For Jade, they probably already had. He looked back at Byron, that smile on his lips. "I'm already having a lot of fun with you."
