Gage's brow furrowed in confusion, but he took Davir's hand. "I trust you, but what are you planning?" he asked. He was led to his bed, then sat down. He couldn't help but be a little tense because he was unsure what Davir had planned. "Why are we sitting here now?"

Immy 01-17-2014 03:47 PM

"Because something like this takes a lot of energy to work up, don't worry I won't let nothing happen to you" Davir felt power in his words, even if he wasn't really close (emotionally) to him he would still say he would protect him. He protected all of his friends, even the few he had, but, most of those were across the countries. His family used to travel alot for work and Davir would always go with them, that's where he got the magic carpet from, and many more things. Davir closed his eyes feeling Gage's hand within his as he imagined only them.

He couldn't do this magic alone before, but, he hoped he was ready to at least be able to pull it off. Thinking in his mind to where Gage probably could hear it in his mind as well, he thought 'Take my power, So mote it be. Multiply it's strength by three.' he took a moment then spoke once more 'Last the truth be told, let our lives unfold. So that we can relive our memories, and stop being enemies.' he knew they weren't enemies, but, reliving the past was the only way he could figure out what was going on in the simplest of ways. Memories from when they first met appeared in their mind.

Bumping into each other and both apologizing on Halloween Night.
How they protected their younger sister/s from the bullies.
The time they met in the bookstore while Gage was in tune with his music.
Exchanging numbers in the mall before parting ways again.
The first time Davir was nervous when he called Gage.
When they rode the motorbike together.
The time they visited the haunted house.
When they were separated after the power he used at the house.
Revealing each other's secrets to one another.
The time they kissed for the first time.
Davir spending so much time away from Gage just to prepare a surprise for him.
The ride on the magic carpet.
Davir showing Gage the surprise letting them switch eye sights for one night and dance on the lake together.
Then the last memory was Davir saying "I love you" then "Sleep" "Everything was a dream"

That's when the memories stopped and Davir was already across the room against the wall out of Gage's hands. "I used the forget spell on you? I'm so sorry" he stood there realizing what he had done and now he understood why he had done it in the first place, but, could tell by the memory that they both could see it in their minds not just their eyes which made him understand he was... "I was wrong" he stated to confirm his thoughts.

Kat Dakuu 01-28-2014 11:50 PM

Davir started the spell again and Gage trusted the other boy enough to let him. He closed his eyes and simply let the memories wash over him like replays of a tv show he'd seen a thousand times before but forgot about. The memories brought him joy, but also a sort of pain because he had forgotten such important things. How could he forget someone as important as Davir. Even if he understand he had done nothing to cause this, he couldn't help but feel at fault.

When the spell ended, Gage spent a desperate moment trying to understand the suddenly feeling of cold. A moment later he realized it was because Davir was no longer next to him. He blindly patted the bed and grasped at the sheets. Davir's voice came from the other side of the room and Gage stared at him in disbelief.

"I don't understand. You're saying that you did this? You spelled our memories away?" he cried out as he stumbled away from the bed, taking one step toward Davir. Even the other boy's apology barely gave him pause. "But why? We were happy!"

Immy 01-29-2014 02:18 PM

Davir stayed silent as he listened to Gage, though his mind was constantly thinking about what he had done. Sliding down to the floor he sat there shaking his head as he remembered what he had done and put Gage through. For a short time he did nothing, he wanted to get up to leave, but something was stopping him from doing so. He couldn't leave right now...not unless Gage told him to leave and even then he wouldn't want to. "When I created that spell to make you see like I would for the night. I only remember being able to see nothing, the spell probably just switched our sights, and when you reacted to it...I thought...I thought that you weren't happy. I thought I hurt you" Davir answered

Kat Dakuu 01-30-2014 12:35 AM

Gage's knees hit the floor as he dropped down in the middle of the room. He couldn't make himself walk the rest of the distance to Davir. "What kind of reason is that? You didn't even ask. You just assumed something about my happiness." He couldn't keep the hurt out of his voice or the confusion. Confusion for this situation and also for his own reaction to it. Somehow Davir had gotten so far under his skin that Gage got all out of whack because of every little thing Davir did. "What makes you think you have the right to do that?"

Immy 01-30-2014 01:29 AM

(You totally have my interest right now lol)

"I thought...it was for the best...guess I should have watched my curiosity level as far as this is concerned" Davir sighed quietly as he wondered out loud "So I did that, can't change the past not even if I wanted to, what now? Do you hate me? Maybe I should leave" Davir spoke stretching where he stood so he could walk out, though he was hesitating...Davir didn't even move from his spot "I didn't know it would hurt us...I mean hurt you like this, I'm sorry, I was thinking the only way I knew how." Davir walked over to Gage kneeling down in front of him taking his hands "You can hate me all you want. You can tell me you never want to see me again. What I did was selfish and I didn't think about how it would affect you" Davir wasn't lying with the words he spoke "I'm sorry..." pausing for a moment he took Gage's hand placing it against his own cheek "You can hit me if it makes you feel better" he knew what he did was uncalled for and wrong, there was nothing he could do besides apologize and swear to never do something like that again or apologize and leave for good.

Kat Dakuu 01-30-2014 02:05 AM

(aw, I'm glad!)

Gage shook his head as he tried to drown out Davir's confession. He didn't want to hear it, didn't want to forgive so readily. He pulled his hands away from Davir's after a few seconds of hesitation and held them close to his chest. He turned his head away, if only so that Davir couldn't see the emotion Gage felt on his face. "I don't hate you. Don't you understand? That's the problem! If I hated you, I wouldn't be upset like this. It's because I don't hate you that I don't know what to do! I..." he shook his head wildly, trying to figure out just what he was trying to say. He wasn't making sense to himself. Somehow, in the time without his memories, he had missed Davir. He missed someone he didn't even remember. How was that even possible?

Immy 01-30-2014 03:22 AM

(okay i minimized my pain for now, let's see what i can do here)

Davir didn't know what else to do, he sat there in silence, and didn't think of anything else to say. He only knew two things he could do and right now leaving Gage alone wouldn't be...well it wasn't an option he would choose. Scooting over next to Gage, Davir wrapped his arms around him pulling him close to him not sure if this was a good idea or not, but it was the only thing he could think of. "I don't want to be forgiven" Davir whispered "And I don't want to leave you again" they found each other for the second time, but he thought they wouldn't be able to both go through something like that again as well as still find each other.

Kat Dakuu 01-30-2014 04:19 AM

A small gasp of surprise escaped Gage as Davir pulled him into his arms. A second later, he found himself relaxing into the warmth the other boy provided. His resistance was fading. In another minute, he would be ready to forgive Davir despite himself. "I don't want to be left either," he said with a sigh. He rested his head on Davir's shoulder. "I missed you, even when I didn't know you."

Immy 01-30-2014 01:57 PM

(sorry i have an ear infection)

Davir closed his eyes listening to Gage "I know, I'm sorry" he kept apologizing because he didn't know what else to do, instead of speaking anymore, Davir just sat there keeping him close to him. For awhile they sat there in peace, it felt like a long time, but he enjoyed every minute of it. "Before the memory spell..." Davir spoke not wanting to bring up that spell "What did you think about the lake scene?" it would be in both of their memories still.

Kat Dakuu 01-30-2014 08:42 PM

The silence comforted Gage for a while, but he knew that it wouldn't last. He lifted his head to respond. "What happened at the lake was..." he trailed off as his words faded him. Memories of that day flashed unbidden before his eyes and he couldn't help the smile that tugged on his lips. Despite that scene having ended less than well, his overall memory of it was-

"The best. I think that was the happiest moment of my life and I don't even know what else to say besides that," he said, forcing back a sigh. He wanted to explain how he felt. All of the emotions, the overwhelmingness of it all. Words could not do it justice though. As they said, a picture was worth a thousand words and he never knew how right that was.

Immy 01-30-2014 10:17 PM

Davir nodded listening "I wanted to give you the best gift anyone could ever give you, a beautiful sight that you could actually 'see' and even though you didn't like surprises I didn't stop" it was all for Gage, but he didn't tell him that or how much he had worked towards to spend so much time to practice it "I was afraid you'd come to hate me since it was only a one time thing"

He then thought of something asking Gage "If I do something, can I ask you not to get mad at me?" he asked slightly unsure if he should, but why should he stop now of all times? He wasn't going to and right now was the best time than any other. He would do it only if Gage would tell him it was alright, if he was told no, then he wouldn't, and would have to wait to see if the time ever would arrive again.

Kat Dakuu 01-31-2014 12:25 AM

The fact that seeing was a one time thing had never been an issue for Gage. Maybe at the initial loss of it, he felt the sorrow of knowing he'd never see again. But in other ways, he was perfectly happy with that. "You gave me everything I'd ever dreamed of in a moment. I could never hate that because it's more than anyone else could ever give me. Besides, my own way of 'seeing' is not without its beauty. I may not be able to see the world with my eyes, but I can see it in a way few other people can," he exclaimed with a wistful sigh. Maybe he could show Davir that because he felt sure that the scene at the lake had not shown the other boy the goodness that came with being blind.

He slipped his had into Davir's and pulled him to his feet. Maybe he really should try to do something if only so he could avoid whatever Davir was planning. "If you have to ask if I'll be mad, maybe you should just keep it to yourself? How about I show you something instead."

Immy 01-31-2014 01:03 AM

Davir stood up slightly tilting his head "Show me what?" Davir was smart when it came to magic, but when it came to reality that was another story to him. Davir thought the room felt different than when he didn't have his memory earlier. Though that shouldn't be new to him, but this was the first time actually being in Gage's room and right now he wasn't even using his 'magesight' to see into the dark.

(pain almost gone for the moment, if i tip my head, it feels better)

Kat Dakuu 01-31-2014 02:43 AM

(that's good)

Gage hesitated, but he was encouraged by the fact that Davir didn't sound resistant. "I want to try to prove it to you, that I'm happy with my way of seeing. Keep your eyes closed and let me show you." He carefully walked around his room, leading Davir all the way. He stopped first in front of his bookshelf which held no books at all. He raised their interlocked hands and placed Davir's on the old wood of the frame, his own hand hovering over Davir's. "You've got to see with you ears and your fingers. It's something you can feel all the way through your body if you just relax."

Immy 01-31-2014 03:12 AM

(sleepy ranie sleepy ranie...)

Davir wasn't sure what Gage wanted to try, but he wouldn't resist against him. It was his turn to learn something new rather than show someone else something. Davir kept his eyes closed trusting Gage not to walk him into something like he had joked about in the past. Davir didn't understand what Gage was trying to do, how could he see without using his eyes, or even the way Gage did. Gage had years where he could learn his sight and now Davir was supposed to see it the way he did. "I don't understand what..." Davir knew what a shelf looked like and that's what he felt as he tried to relax his body. Taking a deep breath almost as a sigh, he tried to do as he was told.

Kat Dakuu 01-31-2014 03:53 AM

Gage sighed softly, but he kept a comforting hold on Davir's hand. "Try to forget the things you already know. You trust me right?" Gage asked. "Then focus on my voice and the feel of my hand. Feel the wood beneath your fingers. It's pine...you can tell by the grain." Slowly he moved their hands down the length of the shelf's frame, swirling around the small number three carved into the wood where he knew the third shelf sat.

"Do you feel that? People forget to feel, but this wood is solid. It can tell a story more rich than with just sight. Stravinsky, The Four Seasons, Nightwish, Gaelic Storm--smooth case, a flaw on the right, that one is cracked. I don't need to see to know every object in my room," Gage said as he moved their hands over the tops of the cds on that shelf. He was determined to held at least one person in the world really see.

Immy 01-31-2014 09:05 PM

Davir let go his thoughts and emotions as he gave into his senses doing what Gage was telling him to do. He did feel the grain beneath his hand, the way the lines moved, but if Gage didn't tell him it was pine, he wouldn't have ever known. He felt the way it traveled in its own path like shape feeling how less smooth it actually felt yet still smooth at the same time. "Cases?" he asked feeling the top, he knew what kind of cases though, and wondered what was in them. "Do you just know this stuff or did you have to learn it?" Davir asked keeping his concentration low.

Kat Dakuu 01-31-2014 09:20 PM

Finally Gage stopped and just stood there next to Davir, holding his hand. He stood close enough to feel the other boy's body warmth, but he didn't back away. "It takes a long time to learn to live without your eyes, but because of it, I pay more attention to the world around me. I need to," he tried to explain. "I carved numbers on the shelves when I was a kid and marked the floor with tape. I was always angry back then over being less than everybody else--until I learned that what I had gained was well worth what I lost."

Immy 02-06-2014 10:16 PM

"Well it's certainly a great way to see things when you can't, you know" Davir felt strange bringing up the subject, but decided to change it "I know we just got our memories back and the reason why it all happened like this. But what does this mean for us?" Davir couldn't tell if they were a couple or not and if they were, well he was happy, if not he understood why. Davir then thought of something seeing as he was tired of using his magic sight in the dark and focused on the lamp in the room making it turn on with energy he put into it. "I kind of turned the light on, using magic, but its easier this way for me" he stated honestly.

Kat Dakuu 02-06-2014 11:05 PM

"I don't know what it means for us," Gage said. He didn't know how he was supposed to feel about Davir or where two people were supposed to go. Even without the memory loss fiasco, he wouldn't have know what to do. "I've never cared about a person like this before. What do people do in this kind of situation?" To say that Gage was clueless when dealing with people was an understatement. He never dated, never got attached to people. His first kiss had been with Davir.

Immy 02-06-2014 11:21 PM

"Well we could start dating if you wanted to, if not well I figure we could just stay friends" Davir spoke not thinking of any other options for them, if they dated then flirting or kissing could be possible other choices. If not dating, then that would limit them though they could still hang out, but the feelings would remain and thoughts of their closeness. "So let me ask you this since I seem to like you alot." Davir spoke taking a short breath then added "Will you go out with me?"

Kat Dakuu 02-06-2014 11:44 PM

Just thinking about dating, Gage became distressed. "I don't know what dating looks like. I don't know what people do when I've never seen it before. I would be a terrible boyfriend," Gage muttered as he pulled away and paced in the center of the room. He held his arms close to his chest, not sure what to do with them. He wanted to be with Davir, but he worried. "Are you sure that you want to be with me? I mean...I want to, but..."

Immy 02-06-2014 11:56 PM

Davir walked over to Gage brushing a hand against his face "You don't have to decide right now" Davir spoke adding "Why wouldn't I want to be with you?" he felt like he was going to say something sappy, but right now he felt like he should say something more. "You're beautiful, smart, and I doubt you'd be anything like that" talking about how Gage said he would be a terrible boyfriend, "But what?" Davir asked thinking he doesn't have to say anything.

Kat Dakuu 02-07-2014 01:17 AM

Gage startled at Davir's touch, then leaned into it. "Do you really think that? I just want you to like me." He hesitantly raised his hands and brushed his fingers against Davir's face. His slid his thumbs against the other male's cheek bones, then dropped down to run a finger over his lips. "It's just that I get worried you won't like me. At some point in the future, my blindness will become a burden." Gage would always be different. He didn't want to believe that Davir was the sort to leave when times got tough, but experience had taught Gage to be wary.
