" I can't believe you two." Athena scowled then raced off towards the mansion leaving him alone with two set of eyes staring him down.

Yokou gulped, suddenly very nervous. He was alone with his girlfriend's parents. Who hated him. With no witnesses. "Please, sir, ma'am, I really mean your daughter no harm. I love her very much and I plan to make sure she is happy and never wants for anything." He tried, though he could tell they were going to hate him no matter what he said.

"Yes you should keep taking care of her as her master as things should be." Her father huffed. "She should be in love with her own level not someone like you."

Yokou flushed with shame, before realizing that he had nothing to be ashamed of. "Well, that's not what happened. Athena and I are in love, whether you like it or not. She's not a slave anymore, she's free, which means she can love whoever she wants. We came here to tell you that, not to ask for your blessing." He said angrily, and followed after Athena.

Athena was playing with a little girl taking to a bunch of maids who tittered as he entered and hurried to make themselves presentable. " I will tell my lord he has company." one of the maids hurried off. |
Yokou rounded the corner. "Athena? What's going on?" He asked.

"Oh they just went to tell the lord of the house we were here." Athena smiled at him as the maids blushed and curtsied to him.

Yokou smiled politely at the maids, even though he felt slightly uncomfortable around that many people. And women, no less. "I see. Will we be leaving soon? I think your parents will be glad to see me gone."

" It would be rude to go without seeing the lord of the house." Athena frowned softly " My lord has invited you to join him for lunch." a maid said as she entered.

Yokou nodded, though he was clearly uncomfortable. He just wasn't used to being around people for so long. He turned to the maid and smiled, though it was a bit strained. "We humbly accept your lord's invitation, and are honored to attend." He said, remembering the words he was taught as a child.

Athena smiled at him and squeezing his arm " It will be alright." she assured. She headed for the dinning room.

Yokou nodded and followed her. It was just lunch, after all. Surely he could handle one meal.

As they entered the room Athena blinked at all the girl slaves and then something seemed to dawn on her and she turned a pink color. " Oh my."

Yokou blinked slowly. "Why are there so many girl servants here?" He asked quietly. He had a feeling there was something he was missing.

Athena turned a even brighter color " You sure you want to know?" " We are here for masters pleasure." one answered " Yes we do anything master wants." another girl purred kissing the lord who shooed her " We have guests mind yourselves." he chuckled.

Mortified, Yokou blushed slightly. The place was a brothel! Keeping his cool, he gave a small bow to the master of the house. "It is am honor to meet you, sir. I am Yokou, and this is Athena, the woman I am currently courting." He introduced them formally.

"I am Lord Miroku." He smiled at them " And these are my girls please sit and they will bring food shortly." Athena sat smiling nerously at Yokou

Yokou sat as well, trying hard to maintain his polite air. Inside, he was somewhat disgusted by the display this man was putting on. To his credit, he didn't show his true feelings at all. |

The girls brought and then hurried away all except one who sat down at the table and began to dish out the food. "it's very good." Athena smiled after she had taken a bite. |

Yokou ate quietly, giving out compliments on the food as he did. "It is very good." He said politely. |
"is there anything else my lord?" The girl at the table asked " No but I expect to see you later." "Yes my lord." she walked off. Athena reached over and squeezed Yokou's hand hard.

Yokou squeezed her hand back. He really couldn't think of what to say in that moment. He just wanted to go home.

Soon they finished eating " Well it was lovely day." the lord kissed Athena hand and she fought to not flinch away grimacing slightly when he looked away. " Please do visit again." "Thank you my lord." Athena curtsied then walked out " I had forgotten that."

Yokou was relieved when the meal was finally finished. He said a polite thank you to the lord of the manor, and left with Athena as quickly as he could without being rude. He fought back jealousy at the idea of that man touching his Athena. "That...was horrible." He said to her with a slight shiver.

"Oh I've seen worse." Athena shrugged "And heard about even worse ones." she shuddered.
