"Alright." Athena squeezed his hand and then hurried to her horse sending her horse towards the village going to the healer "Please you have to come with me my...partner is really hurt he might not live." she was still crying the healer saw the state of her and nodded gathering her things getting her own horse they hurried to the carriage "Yokou?" she went to him and took his hand Lori was standing nearby watching a frown on her face.

"Hello child." The healer smirked. "Went and got sick again? For shame with this pretty girl around." She got to work as Athena closed her eyes and held his hand.

"I'll try." The healer worked well into the night smiling when sh saw Athena was asleep but still holding his hand. "I've done all I can its up to you know."

((John said he saw you at the library today.))

Yokou was fast asleep by the time the healer was finished, unable to keep himself awake that long. Luckily, his breathing seemed much better now.

Athena woke when her head hit the carriage floor "Ow." she grumbled.

((Is that a question or a confirmation?))

Yokou woke up to Athena's voice. "Athena...? Are you okay?"

((if it was a question there would be a ? at the end =P))
"I fell over." Athena said with a yawn 'sorry I wake you. How are you feeling?"

((Sometimes it's hard to tell with you.))

"That's okay. I feel...better. Still a bit weak, but much better. Thank you for saving me, my love." Yokou said with a smile. "So...what happened exactly? How did they get to me?"

"I turned you in." Lori said she leaned against the carriage keeping watch. "Told them you had killed her." Athena scowled.

((Your still mad aren't you?))

((No. Not at you, anyway.))

Yokou glared at her. "I knew you didn't like me, but to do something like that...what did I do to you, to deserve such treatment? And what about Athena? Did you ever stop to think of how she might feel if something happened?"

((what did he do this time? I love how that's my first question.))
Lori looked away "I thought it was just something she would get over." she glanced at Athena "Seeing her act the way she did I knew she really loved and wasn't just faking it." Athena glared and squeezed his hand.

((lol no it's not even this time it's still. Ever since the other night, he would not just leave Wolfie alone. He kept insisting on messaging her and trying to talk, even when she told him that it would only irritate her. Then he did this weird blessing thing and it just got Wolfie so annoyed and messed with her O.C.D. and then the idiot swore up and down that Wolfie never told him she had O.C.D.! UGH!))

Yokou squeezed Athena's hand lightly in response. "I thought you two were friends. You should have been able to trust her enough to believe her." He shook his head. "I'm not going to lecture you, you're a grown woman and neither of us needs that. I just hope that it doesn't take something like this to convince you ever again."

((he probably forgot he is a guy and well they tend to forget things...at least he can apologize and admit he's wrong I didn't think guys could do that XP There is hope for there gender after all a sad hope that might not exist but...wait what was I trying to prove?))
"it won't I promise." Lori sighed "I'll leave you guys be but I will come back for full moon to protect her...which is in a couple more weeks." "Well at least you feel bad." Athena grumbled and sighed "Lets go home." "I'll drive." Lori hooked up the horse and drove them back. "I'm glad your alright love." Athena kissed him.

((It doesn't matter, because you proved yourself wrong anyway XD))

Yokou's expression softened, and he nodded. "That will be fine. Actually, I was going to ask if you would." He said. At least, after all was said and done, it could be said that Lori cared a lot about Athena. "I'm glad, too. It's all thanks to you, you know. You saved my life."

"It was nothing." Athena blushed "Most people would have helped a dying man." she smiled at him "or helped you along to the other side either way." she let out a small giggle then started crying.

Yokou, shocked, hastily brought Athena closer to him in a hug. "Athena, please don't cry. Everything is alright. We're all safe and we're all gonna be okay. Please don't cry."

((want to have a sleepover this coming Friday?))
Athena cried harder and clung to him. "I thought I would lose you." she sobbed clinging to his shirt tighter.

(([glomp] YES!!))

"You won't lose me. I won't ever leave you, I promise. Even if I'm gone physically, I will always be with you in spirit. My ghost will haunt you if I die. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon."

((ok I need a ride but I need to go help my grandmother after work.))

"But I wouldn't be able to hold you and kiss you." Athena hiccupped and sniffed. "Maybe you could figure out how to touch me as a ghost or I could just join you."

((Okay, Wolfie will talk to her parents.))

"I wouldn't want to see you die. But I could figure out how to touch you as a ghost." Yokou said. "Either way, it won't matter for a very long time. Demons live...a very long time."

"Alright." Athena nuzzled his chest and then kissed him.

Athena pulled away. "Love you." she smiled softly.
