"What shall we do? We're only a small army, and the demons have a 'really' big army. The infighting has destroyed much of our soldiers."he said.

" I don't know." Lori sighed " We make an example for them by being nice to each other but they can sense Athena's hesitance to be nice to someone she doesn't completely like."

"We need a little extra kick in our army." He said.

"you could always go to the spirt world, to find help."Sierra said, tossing the remains of the Icecream at a jerk.

" You could do that." Lori smiled softly. " As all as we can get rid of the spirits after the fighting's over.'' Barthy was staring at Athena's window frowning softly.

Xhast appeared in athenas room, looking around

Sierra tossed a pebble at barthy. "Whats wrong with spirits?

Athena was gone from her room.

" I didn't say theres anything wrong just that they like to linger around for a while." Barthy chuckled

"WHAT!?" Barthy shouted vanishing into her room " Athena!?" he called scowling then noticed there usual way to message him " Oh fudge." he scowled getting rid of the marks before anyone else saw them. Lori come in " I looked threw the whole house she's not there and neither is her mother." she frowned.

" What?" Barthy glared at him

Blood shrugged " Her choice." he whispered in his ears " She'll be back for Lori though." Sure enough a few minutes of searching lead to a missing Lori and Simon.

Mordecai looked at xhast, and they confronted barthy. "Whats going on?"

" None of your business." Barthy said then after a moment " Athena left that's all and she won't be coming back I'll follow her eventually."

"That damn fool is going to get herself killed. "He said. He then looked at Xhast, and they entered a void gate, disappearing.

Barthy followed Athena who had reached the coast line. Her and Lori where staring at the ocean in amazement with a laugh Lori raced towards the boat that would take them far away. Athena looked back and smiled at Barthy " Hey." she called letting the wind whip her hair around.

A Giant Squid Reached from underground and crushed it. Suddenly, the earth started shaking.

Lori yelped and hurried back to Athena " Jeez." Athena said hiding Lori in back of her " That was close." Simon sighed staring at the squid " What's he doing this far south though?"

A Giant Crevice opened in the earth. Demons started crawling out.

" F***." Athena said " Run." she shoved Lori forward yelping as a fire wrapped around her " miss me love?" a voice laughed.

Wind blew it out again. Mordecai appeared, with Xhast behind him. "what? Is this number......the third time I've had to save you?"he asked her.

Athena glared at him " Just help." she snapped.
