Barthy sighed " She won't want to go."

"Unless she wants to be a slave to that demon, she doesn't have a choice. You won't be there to protect her, and those two are nto strong enough to fight them off. "he said.

" Yeah." Barthy swallowed " Come on you three." Athena blinked " No way." she said gripping Lori's hand "I'm not going in there." she stared at Barthy. " It's the only way to keep you safe." Barthy scowled softly " Alright." Athena nodded and took Barthy's hand " Lets get this over with."

They would all jump in. The Dark Palace was at the Entrance of the Ravine. It had all the looks of a Gothic castle, made of Volcanic Glass, and the power of magic emitting from it was enormous

" Nice." Athena said sticking close to Barthy with Lori close next to her.

The guards let xhast in. You see female (and a couple of male) demons bidding for the right to own Mordecai

Athena snickered " Oh this is fun I'm glad I come along now."
Barthy gave her a look then turned to Xhast " Are we buying him or stealing him?" |
"What do you think?" he asked, as if it should be obvious
The buyer of Mordecai was the demon that wanted Athena. |
" Oh that's not good." Barthy glanced at Athena who was hiding behind him.

Mordecai was brought to the demons castle. "What do you want?"

" I want you to stop interfering with my plans to take Athena...that demon Bartholomew is enough of an annoyance.

"My plan is to take Athena away from all of this demon nonsense, once the Horde has been defeated. "he said to him.
The group would see a Demon Horde marching to the surface, clad in Ebony Armor, wielding malicious weapons |
" We have to stop them and save the world." Athena sighed " Split up?" she asked Xhast.
" You won't win." the demon chuckled. |
"Too risky. We need to find out whose leading the Demon Horde's." he said.
"Don't underestimate humans, Demon Peasant. "he said. "Now, Let me go, so I can go back to trying to steal Athena."he said. |
" No." The demon dumped him in a cell chuckling " You can watch me steal her." he vanished and appeared next to Athena " Hello love." he brushed her hair from her neck.

Xhast picked up the Demon by it's head. "what are you doing, peasant?" he asked, casting a spell, so he didn't turn into flames.

" Playing with my girl." The demon winked at Athena who Lori was hiding behind her.

"Actually, she belongs to the king, you delusional speck. "he said, and started spinning him around like a rag doll.

Barthy grinned softly and went to break said king out " you alright?" he asked him
The demon yelped then breaking the spell become larger " You lower life form." he growled revealing his full power " Athena is mine." Flames shot from the form and speed towards Athena. |
Mordecai nodded, then used magic to appear by finx. "You really are stupid, you know that, demon?" he said, holding up his hand. Waves of Energy enclosed around the demon's fire, slowly crushing it. No matter how hard it might try, it wouldn't be able to break free.

The demon growled and vanished and appeared behind Athena grabbing her " Got you." he laughed squeezing her close.

Mordecai had enough, and stuck his hand through the demons now physical heart. "No.....I got you...."he said, pulling his arm out of it's chest, and yanking Athena away. "Corruption......Decay......Suffering...."he said, holding up his hand. The Demons wounds would start to turn black, and he would begin to be immense, blinding pain.
