"I'm not but Athena's a sweet girl and she needed someone to protect her. As soon as I'm sure your boy will do anything for her I'm gone." Barthy smirked.
Athena ran faster when she spotted him mounting her horse in one bound urging her into a run. |
"eh, as long as I provide him with power, his guys protect my tree."he said
Joseph got on his, and forced Athena to stop. "Athena, what did I do? Did I say or do something?" |
"Leave me be I have someone to see." Athena got off her horse and started walking grabbing Lori when the girl stopped to stare at her. "How long?" Lori whispered. ''Long enough to see her." Athena growled as Lori paled. "I won't let you." Lori tore away going to him. "She's pregnant."

"WHAT?"Mordecai was dumbstruck.
"Did I just hear that?"Xhast said, rubbing his head. |
Barthy snorted in laughter. "Sounds like he found out."
"Don't listen to her she's crazy." Athena glared at Lori. "I am not a healer can tell I also know you well enough that your off to find a way to hide it so you can give the baby away with out fighting him over it." Lori scowled. |
"Um, don't I get a say in this? I mean, it is my kid."he said.

"Its not up to you." Athena snapped and looked away. "I don't do children." she growled.

"Oh, so it's my kid, but it's not up to me? You know damn well I have a say in this Athena."he said.

"This is why I didn't want to tell you." Athena sobbed and put her hands over her face "I just need to go see the person for a check up but she doesn't alone men she hates them."

"Yea, last time I believed that, you ran off, almost across the sea. If I let you do this, I need to make sure that you're not going to run off again. "he said.

"I'm not promise." Athena sighed "Send your pet demon with me or Lori."

"I'll send both. "He said.
Xhast appeared, and sighed. "Why did I get volunteered for babysitting duty?...." |
"Because Athena's going to have a baby." Lori grinned and got a carriage "YOu shouldn't ride or walk." she started mothering and Athena glared a promise of death at him.

Joseph smiled at her, then looked at Barthy "So....what should I do?"he asked.

"Run?" Barthy suggested with a grin "You can't change Athena's mind you ought to know that by know."

"I gotta try. "he said, running after her.

Athena and Lori rode in silence getting to a cottage she slipped out. "Grandmother I need a check up."

Xhast looked at Athena. "Didn't know you had family besides your mother, but I guess that's not a surprise."he said.

"She's everyone's grandmother." Lori chuckled staying outside. "She'll get checked over then head home."

xhast just stood back, watching. He had a small black cube, with a glowing red center, in his hand.

"Whats that Xhast?" Lori asked examining it from afar.

"The Blood of 108 Mortal's. I sell these too Demon mages. If they drink this, it imbibes them with incredible power, and more than enough control. I try to keep atleast one on me, however. These things are hard to make, and to find. They are also very expensive. "He said.

"Athena would like that." Lori mused then shook her head turning away. Athena emerged from the cottage and head for the carriage ignoring them.

"She can have it. "he said, tossing it to Lori. "She's been good to my human, so I must return the favor."he said.

"Have what?" Athena asked as Lori settled next to her l. Lori explained the orb and Athena shook her head "maybe after the baby comes."
